Terre de Cèdre

This is a stunning fragrance. I was positive it had ginger in it prior to reading the notes. The combination of citrus and cedar give off this luscious ginger-y spiciness. More of a candied ginger than fresh. With that said, this is definitely not a sugar-bomb though. Just a faint and very natural sweetness. I am also smelling sandalwood, which may be the leather? The perfume box states that Land of Cedar is “encouraging”, which is an excellent description of this parfum. Could be worn any season as it has warmth but also a freshness to it. The longevity isn’t great but the rollerball option makes it easy to freshen throughout the day. My first impression was that Land of Cedar leans feminine but I would love love love to smell this on a man.

Oh I absolutely loved it circa 10 years ago when I was obsessed with eco perfumes. I used two bottles of it and it worked very well with my body chemistry. Oh the woody leathery freshness! I do love cedar and it almost always smells good on me, but still I was surprised on how this eco gem actually performed.

Color me impressed. I’m testing this perfume this morning, a brand I have never heard of, a sample vial I grabbed from my big box of olfactory fun. Terre de Cèdre is a warm weather scent, a light woody aromatic with an opening of citrus and a noticeable vetiver. This perfume behaves like a Cologne with no more than 2 hours of performance. I find that there are many times I want something personal and light, something that I can spray on right after a shower or before slumber. I am a fan of this kind of Cologne style. From the Acorelle website: “organic, wonderful and delicate with aromatherapy properties that distress, relax and energize”. I don’t think this brand can be found in the U.S. as it looks to be a drugstore or supermarket cheapie. A beautiful and excellent scent for those lucky enough to find it.

Very citrus and wood factory smelling. Masculine too. It's okay but not my taste at all

This is a very green, fresh, woody and leather perfume. To my nose the leather and the green note really come through and it is a scent that is more masculine to my nose. My husband really liked the sample and it smells nice on him so it is his now. If you like green fresh woody fragrances that have quite a bit of leather note to them give this all natural a try.
