Arcipelago Women

Arcipelago is a very rich & attractive perfume. It's not very bold, it's not particularly 'modern,' but it certainly is a perfume with a twist. The citrus is really mild, and the middle notes are very pleasant, so it opens up and stays on you. In one word, it's classy to wear. Sillage is moderate. I checked out a whole shelf of this manufacturer in Ventimiglia, and I must say that I loved all Acqua Dell'Elba perfumes, both for men and women. There's some warmth about them that I don't find in the majority of other scents nowadays. These can be compared to French Grasse profumeries. Stylish bottles & very gentle perfumes. Distinctly Mediterranean. I don't know how they've managed to create a same-type line with all their scents being so different, yet so much alike in style and this unique marine warmth. I love Arcipelago & Blu, and I rarely like different perfumes by one manufacturer, they all seem too pretentious for me, so I only look for rare finds. Check Arcipelago out, you might also love it! PS I finally got a big bottle of this, and everybody around loves this scent. It's so unique. I'm thrilled.

This fragrance was a blind buy for me, the notes were screaming "how can i not like this?" and I was right. At first, i was worried, first time i sprayed it I grabbed this odd whiff of toothpaste and alcohol - i believe this was a mix of the fact that I was still getting better from a sinus issue mixed with the heat of the package when it arrived because i opened it right away and sniffed LOL - i couldn't wait, fast forward 2 weeks of allowing it to sit and cool and settle to mature a little, this beauty really shines. The lemon and apricot are the stars in both the opening spray as well as the dry down on "my" skin. It's lightly sweet, very citrus and floral with a clean, marine and aquatic profile. I would wear this to the beach, on a boat, summer shopping day, on vacation or just in general because I want to =-) It makes me feel like I am ready for my week in Greece worshipping the sun and basking in azure waters.

Being a fan of Cinema for the past 10-ish years, it seems quite expectable to find myself loving this perfume. Discovered the boutique by chance, never having even heard of the brand, and just decided to randomly test a couple of their offerings. Walked out to observe how the scents develop in time, and Oh my God! This is Cinema! Not exactly the same, more like a lighter version like Festival d'Ete, but totally bright and fresh in the sunshine! Purchased it right away. It has the same zingy citrusy start, soft floral heart and a soft powdery base. Really loving this right now in the summer. What a find! Will be repurchased.

Love at first sniff — easily one of the highlights of the year. Apricot wrapped in woods. The opening is fruit-forward and vibrant, but after about ten minutes the fruit gracefully steps aside, allowing the florals to emerge. A summer fragrance with impressive longevity and a distinctive character. It feels like the fresher, more luminous take on Musc by Narciso Rodriguez.

This is a warm scent of sunny late summer meadow. Some flowers are dry and some are still blooming full of sweet pollen. It fits the summer but also brings joy to cold and bleak days. It's more natural than clean. Like some of that dried vegetation already started to damp and decompose a little (in a good sense like a hay with some morning dew remains).

This is absolutely delicious! Sweet, warm, citrusy flowers! One for daily wear, and I just can not see anyone be offended by it at all! So pleasant, fun and feminine! I just have a sample but will need a full bottle! Instant love for sure!

This perfume reminds mi a Amouage Sunshine.. No joke.. This is softer Amouage with a citrus opening. If Amouage is too strong for you or not affordable, this is an excellent option... I bought it as soon as I tried it.I love it!

All round beautiful summer scent. Will always keep a bottle in my collection.

Wow, I'm the first one reviewing this! Arcipelago is a fresh and delicious Mediterranean fragrance, it's the SAME as Cinema Festival d'Eté by YSL so you can imagine how well done it is. It shares the same herbal rosemary and clary sage opening and the same vanilla and almond blossom heart typical of Cinema and its flankers. It's actually a fresh and summery version of Cinema so if you like that, you will surely enjoy Arcipelago as well. From the notes you'd say it's more on the citrus and woody side, but for me it's fresh, aromatic and vanillic, overall a very pleasant fragrance. Sillage and longevity are moderate. Definitely good stuff!

This smells like vacations! Aquatic, fresh and clean. It smells carefree and classy at the same time. The soapy drydown is really relaxing. Even though there are many scents in this olfative family, this one is not generic, even though it’s safe enough. My husband liked it too. Lovely scent!

Interesting. I typically don’t like cedar bases, but this one’s really interesting. I thought I’d dislike it from initial spray, but it dries down into what reminds me of... plum? A sweet and sour plum. Peculiar. So far I’m like this more than Blu, which I thought would be my favorite.

It would be quite nice if it didn’t have that sweet note that every commercial modern fragrance is ruined by. It shouldn’t be sweet because no sweet notes are listed other than the citrus but, usually, citrus does equate to sweet. It’s quite nice, tbh, just not great. Smells like other sweet modern fragrances.

Acqua dell'Elba is produced on Isola d'Elba, the magnificent island off the coast of Tuscany... you smell the rosemary, the lentisk and the salted sea-water... It tells a story of sun-kissed shores and lush, scented flora...It is the Med in a bottle.

Bought this perfume whilst on holiday in Florence after walking past their store. It’s a really lovely scent and a nice one to have in my collection although I wouldn’t say it’s anything particularly unusual.
