Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Arancia di Capri

The first time I used this perfume, it smelled like urinal disinfectant. Like most of the Blue Mediterraneo line, but the problem was undoubtedly my nose. On a second occasion, that urinal smell was no longer present in my brain (I don't know why) and this perfume, along with Fico di Amalfi, are my favorites from this line. Fresh and classy. Summer in a bottle. But there's the issue of performance combined with my body chemistry, which is a drain for citrus perfumes. I rarely get 3 hours where I can smell anything from this line (whereas with other perfumes from the brand like Zafferano or Oud, the experience is quite different, with both lasting over 8 hours). Therefore, I can't recommend this perfume given the usual price found in online stores. While Zara perfumes are half the price in stores compared to the USA - €20 for 100 ml - Acqua di Parma perfumes (or Mancera, for example) are much cheaper in the USA (at discounters) despite being, like Zara, two European brands. I don't understand this disparity, but paying around €80 for a 75 ml EDT that lasts only 2 or 3 hours (on my skin) is not justifiable (for me, as I'm far from swimming in money). But, I emphasize, this is a magnificent perfume (except for the performance) with a super realistic orange scent (done in a soft and non-harsh way) and it's the scent profile I associate with a typical summer day in Portugal with temperatures of 35oC / 95oF or more.

This fragrance smells AMAZING. I am incredibly happy to finally have it in my collection. Hands down my favourite fragrance from the Blu Mediterraneo line. This is the most beautiful natural smelling summer citrus fragrance I have ever smelt. It smells to me like a photorealistic californian mandarin being peeled, broken apart and juiced. Super sweet mandarin. I absolutely love it. The only issue with this is and most of the Blu Medditeraneo line is that the longevity is horrendous. About an hour to an hour and a half of longevity and 20 to 30 minutes of projection before becoming a skin scent. Fortunately the smell and affordable price makes up for it. Xerjoff Renaissance smells very similar to this and the Xerjoff performs much better however this AdP smells much nicer than the Xerjoff. Women often gravitate to Jo Malone and I feel like Acqua Di Parma could be the Jo Malone for men. However most of the Blu Mediterraneo line smells better than Jo Malone's offerings to be perfectly honest

The most sensual long-lasting citrus aromatic I have ever come across, refreshing and relaxing at the same time. It is creamy and musky and "edible"(caramel and cardamom are very pronounced all the way through this fragrance develops) . But it is not that type of gourmand scent you would imagine a-la Femme Fatale wearing. It is not pompous but not casual. Think of what you gonna wear for an evening meal while on holidays in a hot climate. Something smart , comfortable , light ( as a rule natural materials linen or cotton) , effortlessly chick therefore noticeable. Arancia will be THE perfect perfume for such an occasion . Though all ingredients are not unusual and I'd even say common in perfumery , their combination makes this citrus fragrance outstanding, remarkable and recognizable for its unique composition of ordinary high quality natural components. This is a fragrance for a person who embraces life with its ups and downs and doesn't have "I am bored" in his/her vocabulary.

Blu Mediterraneo Arancia di Capri. What can I say about this fragrance? It is simply gorgeous. This is the olfactory equivalent of a perfect summer holiday romance. Undeniably addictive, ripe and fresh and forever young, but alas, heartrendingly short-lived. Just as soon as you have fallen completely in love, it is already time to say 'arriverderci'. If there were no problems with the longevity of this fragrance, I wouldn't even glance at another summer scent. Indeed, even with the performance issues I will always have a bottle in my collection - a testament to this masterpiece of a formulation by ADP. Although the fragile lifespan means this fragrance regrettably falls short of signature scent status, one is left with no other choice but to return to the Caprese peninsula to experience this bittersweet affair over and over again.

One of the most exceptional citrus colognes available on the market, in my opinion, is characterized by its robust citrus notes. I recommend layering it with a vanilla-based fragrance to enhance its complexity. However, it is important to note that its projection is somewhat lacking, and its longevity leaves something to be desired. Consequently, some may consider it overpriced given these performance factors. Nevertheless, its exquisite scent has garnered numerous compliments, particularly from individuals aged 25 and above, though its appeal to younger demographics is uncertain. For optimal enjoyment, I suggest using this fragrance indoors to mitigate its performance shortcomings.

Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri is like a burst of sunshine in a bottle. It opens with an instantly uplifting mix of citrus notes you can really find a lot of oranges here. As it settles, the fragrance softens with a gentle floral heart of jasmine and magnolia, adding a touch of elegance and a delicate sweetness that balances the bright citrus. The baseyou can really smell the orange. Overall, Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri is a beautifully crafted fragrance that feels like a breath of fresh Mediterranean air. It’s the perfect choice if you’re looking for a luxurious, citrusy scent that brings the warmth of summer wherever you go. This is the best orange fracrances oat The longevity is dissaponting on my skin it only last about 4-5 hours and you can only feel it a armlength away. If they fix that it's a top 20 oat for me.

Dior homme cologne’s cousin. Smooth, light. Edit: Revisiting this lately and longevity is good, 5-6hrs. A cheaper option would be Clinique Happy for Men. Both are indeed very happy fragrances. I felt so optimistic wearing this and blind bought Bergamotto di calabria and Fico di Almafi. I’ll come back and compare them later. Edit2: Bergamotto is spicier, bitter citrus and drydown is almost incense-ish, but barely. Think Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum, Hermes Concentree Orange Vert. Fico di Almafi is very crushed leaves in your hands vibe. It is Interesting. Diptyque Philosykos is louder, sweeter. I’d say this is an ok amount of sweetness for me. Sweet-herbal overall. Being honest, I feel better when i wear Arancia than the other two. It smells like a waaaaay simpler composition but its lightness is exactly what im looking for.

Let me tell you this is one of the most delicious and fresh fragrances I have ever smelled. It literally smells like a freshly sliced amalfi orange and the fresh ocean water. It is phenomenal. This is a masterpiece. The longevity is quite good for a citrus fragrance. The thing is that you go nose blind to it quickly because it is so much citrus, but I get over 5 hours from it. Every time I wear this I feel like I am in Italy, it is simply perfect, rejuvenating, so fresh and yummy. I will be reaching for this very often in the summer, you can overspray and it just smells even better too. It is a mostly citrus fragrance, not sure why people are upset that this isn't a 10 hour beast mode fragrance. It isn't supposed to be. I don't care what anyone else says, this is a masterpiece. I can't get enough of it.

I've known the house for quite a while, but I always focus on the more woody and heavy-scented perfumes. This summer I wanted to find my signature cologne and after exhausting research and testing I decided to go with Fico Di Almafi, I was delighted with the brand, so I went and tried the rest of the line. Let there be said that I'm not into citric scents, I don't like them and they don't like me either, but Arancia Di Capri is the first citric scent I feel comfortable with. It Is bright, fresh, natural, calming, and most of all it fits me well. It performs better for the weather it was designed...hot days of summer. As other reviewers mentioned the only downside of this cologne is the short longevity.

Really good Orange. Is it better than Atelier Orange Sanguine? Orange Sanguine smells like a real damn Orange. This is not as photo realistic but is still good in its own way. It doesn't smell too synthetic to my nose. My only complaints are 1. I wish it had vetiver in the base instead of caramel. If I'm wearing this in the heat I don't want caramel. Not that the caramel is cloying or super strong, I just would have picked something else for the base, or just omitted that note altogether. 2. My skin likes to drink this and it seems to perform worse than others on me. I still could see myself buying this at some point if the price was right. I like the all the citruses and musk.

Beautiful Beautiful and just beautiful. I cannot believe I never even knew about this beauty until now 🙄 Where has it been all my life??? Petit grain and citruses are my favorites so I had to blind buy the big 5 oz. bottle (it was on sale) and oh. my. goodness!!!!!! Y U M M Y !!!!!! This is definitely a Summertime scent and yes, the longevity isn’t the greatest but it doesn’t bother me, I absolutely looooove it! I do not necessarily detect the caramel note though perhaps it balances the citruses and brings depth to the whole composition? All I know is that this smells like heaven on earth and I am thrilled to have added this beauty to my collection!!! 🍊🍋🧡💛💚🤍

I bought this fragrance for the beautiful realistic juicy orange and the romantic association with the nature of Capri. Unfortunately, the mental vacation it takes me on is always too short. Like many others have pointed out, this fragrance has no lasting power nor projection. This morning I sprayed 26 times, and my sister sitting next to me in the car could not smell it. When I asked her what I'm wearing, she said, "Funny? All I can smell is something sour.” That's how I feel about this scent. The poor performance deterrs me from buying more ADP fragrances.

Notes: Mostly citrus orange, similar to how it is in Guerlain Mandarine Basilic, very juicy and realistic. Slight hint of greenness from petitgrain, slightly soapy (think posh hotel hand wash), with soft caramel and musk accompanying. Audience: Feminine-leaning unisex. Summertime scent. Office friendly, non-offensive (not very sharp). More mature than Xerjoff Lira, as doesn’t smell overly cakey Performance: Too weak to do it justice. A massive shame as I love the scent but can’t decide whether it’s FBW just to overspray

Arancia di Capri is the summer holiday fragrance I had been looking for for so long! It's just fresh orange juice, not bitter, not sour thanks to caramel...but not sweet either! The perfect orange fragrance so far! I love it so much that I've also bought the body cream. Of course longevity could be better, but I think the purpose of Blu di Mediterraneo fragrances is to give you instant comfort and refreshment. To me it's as if I were strolling in an italian countryside in summer, early in the morning.

This perfume has my heart. It was the one that started my love for a fresh scent with plenty of juicy citrus. I LOVE the way it floats on my skin and lingers - it is my signature scent and I always get compliments. Plus I bought it at a little negozio on Lake Garda. If you want to authentically smell like you just came home from Italy, this is the line. While Dolce & Gabbana tries with Light Blue (which has somewhat of a synthetic drydown on me) - nothing beats Aqua Di Parma. Fantastico.

This is just beautiful. I love orange & mandarin scents, they are my favourite notes in a fragrance. I've been looking for an orange or a mandarin dominant fragrance for quite some time and this, this is just the thing I was looking for. It's bright and fresh, perfect for a summer day when the weather outside is extremely hot. The only downside would be the longevity, but the price makes up for it. This is one of those fragrances that I would repurchase without a doubt!

Make no mistake this is a beautiful summer scent! I liberally douse myself in the burst of oranges that explodes from the pretty blue bottle. Alas, I cannot disagree with the majority of the comments....the joyous notes evaporate rapidly. I am confident I still smell fine for any intimate encounter but the everlasting gorgeous orange scent is mine alone to enjoy. And enjoy my bottle I will...but I doubt I would buy again. Anyone for an edp version??? Count me in!!!!

Nice, juicy, fruit-forward scent reminiscent of summers by the sea in Italy, as intended. It's super photorealistic but doesn't have much sillage and fades fast. Great for out of the shower in the evening when entertaining with an intimate group at home. Put on some silk lounging pajamas, some dangley earrings, and this, and you're good to go. Wish it lasted longer... I might try layering it with either another ADP scent or a body lotion to give it a little boost.

You like oranges? You LOVE oranges? This is THE fragrance for you. You know how you spray a fragrance and you get that awful metallic/bitter/machine-y taste on your tongue? And then you try to drink water...or coffee...or juice to get rid of it, but you can't? Well THAT does not happen here. You are literally EATING the orange. OMG. Delicious. And, without the bitter white stuff or rind. And, you'll smell good too. Be careful, a passerby may wanna take a bite....

It smells like orange peel and petitgrain in the best way possible! It takes me back to walking through an orange grove on a warm summer day! The fragrance sits very intimately on your skin, and it lasts for about 4 hours. Sometimes when I walk around, I catch a scent of it and I am always pleasantly surprised! It is perfect for both gender and the value is alright imo. 8/10. The only way it could get better was if the sillage and longevity were better.
