Arancia di Capri La Riserva

This smells like a slow summer with someone you love. The opening is a soft, glowing burst of orange; smooth and well rounded, where everything is on display from pith, skin to zest, whilst the blood orange gives gorgeous bittersweet bite, like fresh fruit sat in the beating sun. The rosemary and salt give a Mediterranean flair and the woody elements conjure up visuals of a table for two. No rush. No tension. Just presence This smells like familiar desire. Lovers hands clasped during a stroll to lunch, scintillating Mediterranean breeze. Citrus in the air, salt on the skin. It is a summer where nothing needed to happen, but so much did.

I’m a huge fan of FICO di amalfi and arancia di capri BUT this is without a doubt the best offering from the la riserva line. Juicy blood orange that absolutely sparkles in the high heat with salty mineral notes. Might be my new favorite from aqua di Parma. And don’t get me wrong the new fico di amalfi is still amazing I purchased that as well but something about this arancia di capri just does it for me as I live in Arizona and it’s so hot here. The fico di amalfi I say would be excellent for nights out during the summer as it is sweeter.

I found this acqua di parma maybe 3 weeks ago, and was really surprised at how good it performs and lasts compared to the older acqua di parma fragrances. 4 hours after spraying this on, I was still enjoying this smells it had on offer, walking the streets of the city. On initial spray It gives lots of citrus and fruitiness, its very light and settles quickly to a more masculine earthy/woody mineral scent with that blood orange citrus smell remaining in the background. Amazing summer fragrance in my opinion.

I always enjoy orange-based fragrances (have not quite forgiven L'Occitane for discontinuing Feu d'Orange), and this one almost knocks it out of the park. The additional maceration gives it greater depth and the bigerade together with blood orange and petitgrain provide a very satisfying citrus kick, supported by aromatic herbs. Cannot say that I can identify the mineral notes, but presume they are adding something to the overall composition.

This is my new ‘go-to’ scent for work situations. I really like the orange zest, and the riserva version is a massive advance on the non-riserva, which I felt lacked projection and longevity, so did not buy. There is an added depth and creaminess here (as others have said), that gives it a real edge. I’m really enjoying.

A bright, fresh citrus opening that melts into a smooth, creamy drydown. It never feels overly sweet or heavy, just soft and comforting. Like a hug from someone you trust. Perfect for warm days and versatile enough for the office. Easy to wear, elegant and effortlessly pleasant!

Easily one of the best orange fragrances that smells natural. Very decent sillage / projection for a citrus. The citrus musk combo here is amazing, highly recommended

Beautiful light orange scent, but the longevity sucks on me, 30 mins can barely smell it on my hand, there’s no way I could justify a full bottle

This is really nice. The dry down is a beautiful balance of citrus, musk and chef's kiss of amber.

The controlled aging process develops remarkable smoothness. The juice becomes heavily cloudy and oily from evolution, while it loses some of its citrus sparkle, brightness, and herbal nuances. It's hard to explain succinctly, but its almost like the whole thing has been given a sheen that makes it more calming and less energetic. Performance has increased while sacrificing some, but not all of what I enjoy from the original. I prefer the original but it only lasts 20 minutes. I don't get any suede or much mineral nuance as it seems to also have been sanded down from the aging. Great scent, but does not best the original Arancia imo. I blind bought this because I love the EDT and was hoping the performance on this would be better. The performance on the EDT is embarrassing. This is a little better but still weak. It's better if sprayed on clothes. They both smell like an orange peeled from a vine. This version isn't as fresh and more musky.

7/10 Like the original but just with more ambroxan? I'm not sure, I smelled this side by side with the original and this seems redundant.

had the opportunity to sample Fico di Amalfi and Arancia di Capri La Reserva before launch, thanks to my best friend that bought Fico La Reserva at her last vacation travel to Miami, she gifted me two 5ml decants that the sales representative gave her. I had great expectations for this one I can say this is the one I liked the least, its way different from the original, even tho the additional note provide more deepness I guess for my skin didn’t work well. On paper smells beautiful, like grabbing an orange peel an rubbing it between your finger, fresh, slightly bitter with a creamy sweetness. On my skin reacted totally different, it gave me the olfactive experience that Dior Fahrenheit also has, like smelling grease/gasoline but less prominent and slightly sweeter, it’s the mix with citrus and leather that might cause it. Definitely a more complex fragrance, It has a great performance tho between 6-8 hrs, and has a good sillage. I recommend to try it first before buying because it might not work for your skin (like my case).

Blind bought this as I love the EDT so much. But, as is the usual case when “intensifying” a fragrance, it’s lost all its zing and freshness. The woods really weigh it down and I’m getting way more bitterness than the fresh orange juice of the EDT. Also quite disappointed with performance. I have the 180ml and fear this will last a very long time on my shelf.

Smells great and performs much better than the original on my skin. Tried new on one hand and old on the other. Can’t smell the original while I can still pick up on the reserva pretty easily.

BITTER ORANGE PEEL + lime , fresh floral, pepper (spices), grain, musk It's nice, but especially unsexy.

This still retains that fresh and natural smelling orange note like in the og, but the longevity has improved so much. I tried a couple fresh/sweet fragrances a couple days ago, including ones like god of fire, pacific chill, roja isola blu and elysium, and this held up against all in terms of longevity. When you pair that with how incredible it smells, this deserves high ratings, and I may pick this up sometime soon unless I go for Argos Neptune's trident instead (also very good and long lasting orange fragrance but with a prominent tea note).

This is literally a photorealistic smell of orange zest, but with a sense of depth that helps it linger a lot longer than the EDT. It almost has a thick creaminess to it. It doesn’t seem to last as long as the Fico La Riserva but I do think I become more nose blind. I’ve really gotten into ADP lately. I think they are on par with LV when it comes to fresh citrus scents. Managed to pick up a 100ml bottle for £100 which was an absolute bargain.

absolutely banger citrus scent yes its incredibly natural and all that jazz but that price point is unreal for 4hrs of performance, will keep an eye for when its on discounters

I have a sample and unfortunately, the durability of this scent is max 2h... I gave it to another person to try - exactly the same. I was very disappointed.

Alright, first hour was very nice, now after two hours, I smell like blue cheese tastes like. I like blue cheese, I don't like smelling like it though...

Super realistic citrus with Frederick malle uncut gem ambrettolide drydown, this is incredible along with the new fico di amalfi, great perfumery

Comparing my samples of Original and La Riserva side by side now. The original is way more bright and fresh.

i am surprised nobody mentioned MEMO MARFA??? this is the fresher version of Memo Marfa for sure.

Wonderful beginning and it dries down to a baby powder like smell. Soft and powdery.
