Colonia Assoluta In Villa

Colonia Assoluta In Villa is a really lovely perfume. It projects moderately for a few hours before becoming a skin scent some two or three hours after application. It opens with woody notes, citruses and spices as per the notes. The citruses are on the orange and lemon part of the citrus family. There's some cypress in the woods and so it gives the perfume a hint of a beautiful furniture polish (in a very good way). The feel is indeed that of walking around a well designed garden of a country house but with an extra flowery touch that the notes don't immediately suggest. Colonia Assoluta In Villa is perfectly named. Some two hours later the decline in strength begins. The scent is fairly stable, fairly linear, and remains so throughout. Another two hours later the decline in strength is more notable. Eight hours in and there's just a tiny bit left. By nine hours after application it's all gone. I don't see a particularly strong link to Colonia Assoluta here so if you're looking for a version of that you've come to the wrong place. However, I think this would work during the day at any time of year. Whilst spring is the most obvious time for this one, I would assert that summer and early autumn would work well, and that if you were inside, why not the rest of the year? Given its rarity (only 26 Fragranticans have it, according to the database, at the time of writing) I don't expect to get my hands on any more, certainly not a full bottle. I shall enjoy this fleeting elegant creation and bid it a fond farewell when my supply runs out fairly soon. EDIT: Coming back to this a week later, the same amount of sprays in the same places from the same distance has yielded a longevity of about 15 hours on the left arm and almost 24 hours on the right arm! A very welcome surprise!

I originally got it for myself, but despite all the freshness of Colonia Assoluta this is very strong on cypress. Unfortunately, I cannot stand it, it gives me headache, and makes me sick. Gave it to my husband though, and on him even the cypress is becoming palatable , plus he loves the giant bottle with pretty old fashioned bulb. Spraying himself all over with it has become his new morning ritual, and a very enjoyable one. Very, very classy.

I purchased this one thinking it had the same fragrance of colonia assoluta,but it is a different smell,colonia assoluta is fresh-floral-woody and colonia assoluta is very classy old-fashioned fragrance,yet a delicious smell,but i prefer colonia assoluta in spite of colonia assoluta in villa.
