Colonia C.L.U.B.

I tried this fragrance in Bluemercury today, completely unbiased as I didn't even know it was a new release until after I smelled it. My initial thought is that it was designed to be a more mass-appealing scent than some of the others I tested while I was there. I agree that this is ADP's entry into the "blue" fragrance world. And if someone smelling this is not crazily into fragrances, I can imagine this would be a nice, casual, summer scent that is versatile and will draw compliments without creating a harsh scent cloud. I think this particular fragrance gets a lot of hate for differentiating from the original Colonia Club 2015. However, by itself, I still think it is a pleasant fragrance that I will be adding to my collection when it hits discounters (which, having seen its response from the public, it will). Also, keep in mind this is an EDC, so the projection and longevity aren't going to be as prominent as another blue, such as Eros (which is quite strong). But I find the freshness of this fragrance to be nice, and still noticeable without being overbearing. This would be a great fragrance for teenagers who want to smell good from March through early September. Not exactly the most unique, but it's not inoffensive whatsoever. This is something that you can blind buy if you want to smell similar to other popular blues. Just wait until it comes to FragranceX or FragranceNet!!

I like this. I wasn’t even aware of this release until I went to buy some stuff from the barbiere range. I wasn’t going to try given the previous club (which I owned) was too minty and while cooling had an almost burning sensation. But I did. This one morphs from a real freshy to start with the bergamot and reminds me of a toned down of the limited edition la spugnatura and then settles into a lovely light woody skin scent after about 3 hours. The longevity on this is great. It’s very pleasant and I’m very much looking forward to wearing this on a hot day or warm evening for dinner on a terrace. ADP is a great house, and there are classics like Essenza that I keep coming back to. On this one, and unlike the pura that was nice but not so interesting, or the futura that was just too herbacious, they got the balance here really spot on. The shiso makes this really Interesting. The pepper just right, and the dry down of woods and light musk being comforting but also leaves me feeling confident. I just ran out of essenza and was going to refill, but this one made me go for a detour. I’ll let you know how I get on, but a few days in I’m enjoying it very much.

Absolutely Love this. Absolute classic fresh musky masculine cologne. Quality and longevity far exceed the price. If you’re a a guy in your 30’s pr older you will be hit with nostalgia! Younger people you can call it vintage and love it aswell. First botes you get are citrus and aromatic. Then it dries down into a lovely fresh subtle musk. The pink pepper, citrus and musk base note are the most prominent notes. I wanted something subtle, classic with that Italian sartorial feel and it’s exactly that. The added bonus is my girlfriend cannot leave me alone when i wear it! It is definitely subtle until you get close to the skin where it sits for a good 12 hours. One thing that might put spme people off is that the opening notes only last around 2-4 hours so if you want a strong far projecting fragrance this won’t be for you. Perfect for if you work in close proximity to other people like me and need something a little more subtle though! Peace and love people 🫶

Bought this one in the boutique in Roma, after wearing a tester all day. Worked perfectly in the warmer weather, and was always pleasantly surprised, with the aromatic notes bringing me away from the busy inner city of Roma, very relaxing. This fragrance will come off a bit harsh for some moments after being applied, but once it's settled, it's very pleasant. When the base notes of musk and cedar kick in, you feel a depth to it, which is unique in its own way. Perfect for warmer weather, the aromatic notes are easy on the nose once settled, and it becomes very elegant and easy to pull off.

Fresh citrus aromatic. Sharp citruses, peppers, and green herbal rosemary burst from my skin but in a very smoothed out and airy fashion, all over a light woody base. No bias on my part, I know nothing of the original Club (or many other AdP fragrances for that matter), but I find this quite pleasant and extremely well-balanced. The citrus and spices and greens and woods all play an equal role, everything is seamlessly blended together, and it sits smack dab in the middle of sweet and bitter. Performance is surprisingly decent for me with moderate projection for ~2hr, longevity 12hr+.

Vibrant open with citruses and pink pepper, into a green grassy mid with reminders of clean soap. This is an excellent classically clean masculine cologne in the Italian style. It's unique shiso note is the real stand out for me. I really enjoy this one and it has surprisingly good performance for a cologne at about 5 hours on skin with an additional hours or so as a skin scent. I think the retail price is a bit steep, so I'd wait for this to appear at the discounters. That being said, this one will be staying in my collection as a spring/summer pull for the foreseeable future.

This is a decent fragrance but simple. Nothing wrong with simple but this is THE idea of just fresh male fragrance which i can appreciate. A very green fragrance and the scent profile is pleasant It is an easy to enjoy and my friends have said they like it too. This is a summer fresh perfume and for the daytime Sprays 2-5 (Depends on the heat and day) Price 5/10 (not ideal) Longevity 6/10 Sillage 5/10 7/10 For a fresh summer fragrance this is a good fragrance despite it being simple and a little on the boring side price is a downside tho

Extremely fresh and pleasant. To me this is in the same family as the original Prada Luna Rossa with even better quality and added green with the shiso. Not that they smell exactly alike, about 60-70% similar with the airy freshness with a touch of sweetness to round it out, then add more grassy type green than Luna Rossa. This stuff is absolutely beautiful and fresh like you just got out of the shower. Scent to me is 9/10 and performance is on par with most EDTs even though this is an EDC. It's a love for me.

one of the few fragrances out there that have an almost euphoric quality to me. though as much as i love it, i want to snatch it up for a good price because of how fleeting and weak it is. even £80 im not fond of paying. reminds me a tad bit of prada lhomme. also i agree with the comment below- when i first found out about this fragrance (about a year and a half ago) the reviews were brutal, i suppose because it was a new version of an already existing fragrance (similar to the hate dior homme 2020 got).

9/10 Nothing like the other colonias I've tried (the og and essenza), but it's still very nice. Peppery, herbaceous, invigorating scent that makes you want to keep smelling your wrist. It is quite basic obviously and doesn't last a long time, but hay ho. Also Mjdough underneath me: ADP recently changed their colonia bottles to be all the same. So essenza that used to be a black bottle is now in the OG colonia bottle with a white label, C.L.U.B no longer has a green label and also has a white label etc.

Very good smelling fresh green scent. The scent makes me feel ....a I'm happy and outdoors with my family kind of feeling. It works excellent for the spring or summer time. Projects for the 1st hour then nice scent bubble for a few hours. Its a scent people will notice and like. Lasts maybe 4 - 5 hours on my skin and till next day on clothing. I'm wondering where the bottles that last a few minutes were bought. Fot reference..I bought mine at Bloomingdale's.

My favourite house for summer. Lovely citrus and fresh herbs. If you use the body lotion before spraying it lasts 8-10 hours. Sprayed this morning at 7 am. Now 10.35 and my mrs says I can still smell that on you, the room is full of it. Many thing ADP is weak, you just need to add the lotion after you shower. I have most of their range as I’m mad about it and natural ingredients. Use it well and this may be your thing. Masculine and woody. Great EDC.

Absolute masterpiece of a fragrance in my opinion. It’s on the blue/green side with a super clean smell to it and will not choke anyone out but still lasts all day. Could easily be a signature scent as it is very versatile and easy to wear. Appropriate for high schoolers if they want to mask the smell of their bo after gym class, business men in the office, or mature gentleman if they want to smell to part.

Oh my gosh. I got a decant of this in a sample set that I was gifted. And wow...this is absolutely incredible. I'm not sure what it is about it, but there is something that is highly addictive to me. Incredibly fresh and attractive smell. The essence of being out on a yaught and smelling the crisp, clean sea air. Definitely a must buy for me. Test it for yourself!

Another bright barbershop fragrance that’s right in my wheelhouse. Citrusy in the open with some Rosemary in the background and dries down to a powderish,fresh gentlemanly scent. I got pretty good performance from this fragrance. I kept getting whiffs from it throughout the day and I could still smell it at bed time. I can’t wait to wear it in the warmer months.

One of my favourite Acqua Di Parmas and I think I know why. I am a big fan of Chanel Allure Homme Sport (edt and eau extreme) and theres something about this fragrance that reminds me of the allure line. I think its the citrus, creamy and woody accords that are giving me that vibe. What do you guys think?

Fresh, opens very beatifully. Its an oldschool type aftershave, shower gel scent in a good way. May be nostalgic to some, very manly. Me and my girlfriend love it and prefer it over colonia, or colonia essenza. Longevity was also way better than I expected.

Very nice got it 50 percent off would not pay full price but very elegant for warm weather nice dressed occasions. For example I used it for prom but i absolutely love it and do recommend if your willing to spend the price.

this is a classic fresh cologne for men. greatly balanced, not too heavy not overly fresh as in boringly fresh. you can definitely feel the spices and that’s were the magic is! attractiveness scale is high. amazing gift.

The moment I smelt it, I fell in love. This fragrance smells professional and rich, appropriate in any season or setting. 10/10.

Love the scent, too pricey though. Reminds me of a mix between Prada Luna Rossa Ocean EDT and the EDP.

Very nice. Sporty, citrusy kind of aquatic but in a good way. Kind of synthetic but natural at the same time. Longevity is alright 4-5 hours I guess. Becomes a skin scent quickly though. Projection is great the first hour then is non existent, silage is elegant non offensive. I expected more but its nice not going to lie. Very Modern scent slightly unique nowadays. Its strictly for the high heat though. No one talks about this for a reason, its not that interesting! It's very similar to channel allure homme sport but more elegant thats it. Drydown is watery musks. Imagine Allure Homme Sport and Allure homme sport Superleggera. Colonia C.L.U.B. is in the middle between the two. Edit: Need to mention that I have the white label one which allegedly is more musky and less green then the 2022-2023 batches

Got it off a discounter (Jomashop) for a price way below retail, which is think is way better than buying it for its retail price. This isn’t sponsored btw I just want to tell you guys that you NEVER buy frags retail price unless they don’t allow discounters (Chanel, LV, City Rhythm, etc.) anyways, this is a great everyday safe green and spicy scent. It IS an EDC which is TERRIBLE but its longevity isn’t too bad, about 4-5 hours without letting it macerate (FRAGS ARE ALWAYS BETTER WHEN LEFT TO MACERATE FOR A COUPLE WEEKS). It’s a smell you can’t really hate and it’s VERY VERY basic but also somewhat fancy. I’d say get it if you want a good summer citrusy “fresh spicy” scent (what I wanted).

I thought I'd bought a sample of the original CLUB, but I realized I'd bought another fragrance I was used to. It has the same herbaceous vibe that is a more citrusy, woody scent, still with the famous menthol note. The same occasions and versatility as the original. Last 5 hours (shame) and a fair projection. According to my rating system, it's a 7/10 but I give -2 penalties for acting like a "snake in the grass" (no pun intended) to fool people: 5/10. Try before you buy

“Comparisons are odorous.” Is it green? Is it blue? Is it old guy or trend jumper? Doesn’t matter. And what’s in a name? This is a pleasing fresh warm weather scent. Opens with citrus and bergamot up front with a bit of peppery bite. Relaxes into a minty basil whiff of shiso with AdP dna quality lurking underneath, a hint of powder and then settles into musky cedar. Versatile. Makes for a nice daily driver.

Do not confuse Colonia C.L.U.B. with the previous Colonia Club (which I did not like anyway). No mint in this one. And even not a lot of citrus or bergamot. It rather has a nice elegant clean soapy vibe that turns into a skin scent quite soon. If you are looking for a heavy performing long lasting scent you better abstain. But if you don't mind spraying a bit more often, this is a nice freshy.

I love the smell of this but... what the hell did they do to the original... this is definitely a club fragrance now. Insane projection and sillage, very fresh out of the shower type vibe. Has no business being associated with green fragrances. Maybe I’ll pick this up from a discounter but I’m the meantime I will enjoy the OG

I like this fragrance a lot. To me this smells like a country club mixed with a citrusy element, and I think this is a relatively safe and mass-appealing fragrance. Performance and price are the biggest drawbacks when it comes to this, but if somehow those aren't an issue, this is great. side note: good atomizer

Super confused by this one. Purchased a bottle of Colonia c.l.u.b at Bloomingdale’s last week. My bottle has a white label but I can’t seem to find it anywhere online. It’s either the green label, or bottles just labeled Colonia. Great scent but it’s pretty weak after about 2 to 3 hours

I think this is really nice! Lasts surprisingly long on me. I sprayed it before bed just to test it, and can smell it next morning relatively easily. Not groundbreaking by any means scent wise, but totally likable.

So slept on, it’s actually pretty good nothing special it’s just that Acqua di Parma has some of the worst projection ever

Just a first impression, but might be worth writing as there are so few full reviews of this: C.L.U.B. opens like Bergamotto or other nice AdP bergamot openings. At this stage I thought this might be a great new summer freshie. After the opening it goes green and aromatic. At this stage I thought it does share something with the green original Club. But this is sweeter. 2h later. I think I smell the rosemary and the shiso. It's too sweet for my tastes now. 4 h later, oh, it's taken another turn. It's clearly woody now. Like a basic blue fragrance drydown, not bad, basic nice. It's strong enough, actually survived a shower on my wrist (I didn't scrub) and the scent was still strong on a paper strip the next day. EDIT: Still strong day four. Don't know what to think, I love AdP in general but hate the name of this. I personally prefer the original CLUB to this. That was a gentlemen's country club, this seems more youthful, like a night club for young adults?

This smells amazing! This is the best cologne-smelling fragrance I've smelled since I have been in the game (only a year, but I've smelled a lot of scents). I love how fresh, slightly minty, and spicy this smells. It comes together nicely and smells intense. It's ever so slightly sharp but doesn't bother my nose. What's really good about this is that is performs constantly at least in the first one or two hours. I cannot speak for it's longevity for now but in the future I will make an edit for this review that will speak more about how long this lasts and performs. This is such an awesome smelling scent. Update: I doused myself with this for a day and it smells good, but also basic. I'm switching from love to it's ok. This scent does travel far if the air allows, but I don't believe that it will travel too far in still air. It lasts long enough. About 6 hours.

I've smelled this before but wasn't impressed so I never bothered testing it until today. I'm afraid ADP seems to be losing their direction since around 2020 and this is a good example of that. This smells like your average musky cedar designer and the comparisons to Armani Code are justified. ADP has always been more about classics and some modern stuff outside of the signatures of the sun line, but this just seems like a lazy. Is it pleasant? Sure. Does it have any personality? Not much. It's very plain, innofensive, generic and boring. It smells like something you'd pick up at the mall or Walgreens from a low level to mid tier designer house. Armani Code is better than this, and the latest Armani Code Parfum is way better than this, in my opinion. --------------------------------------------------------- Scent 50/100 Performance TBD

You know when people call a fragrance “shower gel”-y? I don’t know if I truly understood that until smelling this. I’ve never smelled a fragrance that smells more like a generic men’s shower gel in my life. It has zero character whatsoever. Honestly, this does not smell like it’s made by Acqua Di Parma (one of my favourite houses), this smells like it’s made by Axe/Lynx. Acqua Di Parma I still love you because of many of your amazing scents (some of which rank among my favourites of all time)... but please don’t let this be the new direction you’re going in. There are ways of making a scent mass pleasing without making it this lifeless... P.s. The original Colonia Club was a gorgeous fragrance, definitely one of the best from the house. Such a shame to see it go.

A very boring cologne, it opens very energizing, but the rosemary note that makes it interesting goes away after 3-5 minutes. Then it dries down to something that reminds me heavily of Armani Mania by Francis Kurkdijan, a fragrance that I had but I never really liked it at all because of it’s boringness. Some resemblance gets me to Kologne, Shield of Protection by Kilian at the opening, that is really a very nice cologne, and it lasts double the time of this, quality is also on a whole other level. This is usable, fresh, but I would pay $60 at much for this kind of scent and quality, feels a lot synthetic and it goes away after 3-4 hours. I would only recommend this to someone who loved Armani Mania. 5/10

I like this fragrance. It reminds me of Acqua di Gio EDT. Unfortunately, the performance on this is god awful. It projected for a good 3 minutes, and then became a skin scent. On my skin, it lasted about 2-3 hours total. This is fresh, bright, and green, just like Nautica Voyage. I prefer Nautica Voyage to this, as it is way cheaper and way more worth it. This is extremely overpriced. Overall rating: 4.5/10. While I may like the scent, it's just not worth what you're paying for at all. I have the same opinion on ADG EDT and many of its flankers. Get Nautica Voyage if you want a fragrance that has a similar vibe to this, is cheaper, and preforms better. Nautica Voyage is more fresh though.

A bit underwhelming from the AdP house. I think they wanted to create a softer version of Colonia Club by using Shiso, but somehow its delicate mint accent is missing. The scent however is relatively linear after about 20-30 minutes. The base seems to contain ISO-E Super (cedar character) and subtle hints of grapefruit, although the latter is not in the scent profile listing. This is all softened by a musky quality most likely due to the ISO-E Super as well. What it can be equated to is a watered-down version of Bleu de Chanel, without the other subtleties of it soft mint and slight floral appeal.

Fresh clean opening with citrus notes and a hint of peppers. The spiciness here is not overwhelming, so it is still a quite summery scent. You can already get some herby woody smell from rosemary. After about one hour, I get this green note, not sure this is how shiso smells like. The drydown is nothing but generic, reminds me of dozens of perfumes with cedar in the base note. In general it smells pleasant, suitable for summer and appropriate for office. However, it's kinda a disappointment when you know it's AdP.

This is Acqua di Parma, trying to be mainstream and target younger audiences. On scent alone it works for that reason. But if you’re looking for something classic or old fashioned look elsewhere. This is as boring and banal as AdP can get. It fits right in with the typical mall lineup at the local department store.

I loved the original Colonia Club and its wonderfully fresh minty summer veranda with gin tonics and cocktails but this Colonia C.L.U.B. reformulation -whilst perfectly pleasant - has removed that minty freshness and lost that *love!* element. Shame, really.

It’s an EDC so it should be known that this is a skin scent cologne. Smells exactly like a barber shop. Good for people who need something that is not strong but noticeable up close. Lasts for maybe 2 hours if you spray twice on each spot.

I haven’t decided what I feel about it yet... The top notes are lovely- fresh and clean but after 1 hour it feels a little to sweet for my taste :/
