Colonia Intensa Oud Eau de Cologne Concentree

A great oud/citrus combo, quite unique and versatile for an oud based scent. I think the amyris note is a nice touch as well. Everything is well orchestrated from the freshness in the initial act leading up to a certain warmth and gentlemanly demeanour that begins to display midway through. The result is a classy and captivating fragrance appropriate for any occassion, any time of the year, day or night. I daresay it gives even the oft-cited versatility benchmark, Aventus, a run for its money in this category. This was a blind buy online based on the reviews here and I don't regret it. I thank my fellow fragrantica members for once again being a wonderful source of feedback on scents that I don't have the pleasure of trying firsthand. That said, I do get a bit of the 'new shoes' vibe that some have detected as the fragrance develops. I don't mind it, but perhaps it'd be best to try this one out for yourself if you have the option before making the purchase. Some people seem not too keen on this fragrance on the whole, while others love it right out of the (shoe) box. I'm of the latter camp. The oud is handled very nicely here and blends well with the citrus notes in the opening, which according to the AdP site are orange and bergamot, revealing a smooth transition into the leather and musk in the drydown phase. Now this may be a grower for some, as I found myself appreciating it more the longer I wore it. First wear was highly intriguing. I was teetering on the fence between love and a big question mark... but once I got accustomed to the slightly dry oud/amyris/coriander interplay it was a definite satisfaction. The second occassion was during a dinner at an upscale restaurant with a large group of friends and family, and not an hour into the meal I was already getting approval from the other diners. It's classified as an Eau de Cologne concentree, but it outperforms some Eau de Parfums I have. The price tag may be steep, but based on the quality and versatility of this fragrance, coupled with fantastic longevity (12+ hours) and projection (2 sprays were enough to get people noticing), I believe it's well worth the price of admission. I don't mean to make an already long review even longer, but I have to update my assessment. I'm loving this fragrance more and more with each wear. I'm also getting the "rose-y" note that others have mentioned, but I reckon this is a result of the oud combining with one or two of the other notes rather than an unlisted true rose note. In any case, it's masculine in its overall effect due to the woodsier undertones mingling with the citruses. It's truly a damn fine scent, and one of my new favourites. Mesmerizing and exhilarating. Artık hemen hemen tüm parfün markalarının Ud ürünleri var. Son dönemde giderek popüler hale geldiğini görüyoruz. Aslında Ud kokusuna biz Türkler yabancı değiliz ve bize yeni değil. Ancak popüler markalar el atmadığı için, ağır yağ yada salt Ud olarak kullanıldığı için genellikle "hacı yağı" sınıfında kalmaya mahkum olmuştu. Aslında oldukça karakterli ve güzel bir koku. Son 1 yıldır bulabildiğim tüm Ud temelli parfümleri denedim. Batılı parfüm evleri de Ud'un sert ve ağır yapısını sevmiş olacak ki üretilen parfümlerin en az 2/3 ü yine ağır olarak karşımıza çıkıyor. Özellikle sıcak ve nemli ortamlarda taşıması oldukça zor olan bu kokuyu makul formda ilk olarak Acqua di Parma!da bulabildim. Yumuşaklığı ise gül veriyor. Yani koku biraz yumuşasa da "arap" havasından tamamen kurtulamıyor. Bunu negatif anlamda söylemiyorum. Benim için şu ana kadar kullandığım en iyi Ud parfümü bu. Ancak yukarda da söylediğim gibi kültürel alışkanlıklar ve kokuların çağrışımını yaptığı ideolojik ve sosyal yapılar kişiden kişiye değiştiği için Ud'un bu hali bile birçok kişiye ağır gelebilir. 35 yaş üstü erkeklere kış aylarında yakışacak bir parfüm. Çok yoğun kullanmamak gerekiyor. Kalıcılığı çok kuvvetli ve her ortamda baskın olabiliyor. Bu nedenle fazla sıkmak (kullanmak) riskli olabilir. Eğer parfümlerim arasında Ud olsun diyorsanız bu doğru seçim olacaktır. Yukarda sözünü ettiğim kültürel yapının beğeni konusunu nasıl etkilediğini anlamanız için bu parfümü bir de Avrupalıların olduğu ortamda kullanın. Neredeyse tüm Avrupalılar bu kokuyu beğeniyor. Türkiye'de ise zaman zaman eleştiri alabilirsiniz. Tekrar hatırlatmakta yarar var, kesinlikle çok sıkmayın. Zaten yoğun olan koku boğucu hale gelebilir.

Colonia Intensa Oud Eau de Cologne Concentree opens with Calabrian bergamot & Italian Orange. But they're not bright Citruses. They're fresh, but they're Dark. Darkened up by the immediate presence of Oud & Leather. The Citruses are also Piney from the Amyris. From its initial opening Colonia Oud smells more like a Leather fragrance with supporting Citruses & Woody notes than it does an Oud forward fragrance.. The Leather note is fantastic. This combination of Citruses, Oud, & the faint Spice of Coriander makes Colonia Oud smell like luxury leather. Like the interior of some ridiculously expensive luxury vehicle. As Colonia Oud settles on my skin it becomes so well blended that for the next 2 hours I cant pick out any of the other notes outside of Leather & Oud until I finally begin to pick up on a subtle Bitter Green, & mildly Earthy Patchouli Leaf in the dry down. Several hours after that you're left with a Dark, Cedar, Sandalwood, & Musk skin scent with Spicy nuances. Colonia Oud is a bit of a chameleon. It appears to be whatever you dress it up as. If you wear it as a CEO, then it smells like a CEO. If you wear it in Black Tie Attire, then it smells Black Tie Attire. But it can also be very alluring in the right situation with the right outfit. That said, if you dress it up in a Dark Leather Jacket & Dark Clothes as a Bad Boy, then it smells like a Bad Boy. The Oud note doesnt smell Earthy, Moldy, or like a Mechanics Shop, nor does it smell like a Barnyard. It smells like subtle Dark Dry Woods. Performance is very good with Colonia Oud, & it can be worn year round..

I Have Waited A Long Time To Review This One! This is a well balanced Oud. By that I mean that it doesn't lean to heavily on the Oud to define itself as a fragrance. I could honestly enjoy this as a room spray or a cologne it lingers in a very stately yet subtle way. The top notes of Citrus and Coriander rest atop the shoulders of Oud and Leather in such a way that it says "Hey, I'm here. You know I'm here, but I'm not here to bother anybody". Its friendly but not oppressive. A good starter for those that would like to get into the Oud's but are unsure. I'm not sure if I can agree with those that have compared this to Tom Fords "Oud Wood" these two scents are too different despite the name and primary ingredient. Some have told me that the musk note is too much for their liking and I can understand that. Certain notes don't register the same with everybody. What I will say is that these two fragrances differ greatly, though I am a greater fan of Acqua Di Parma. The scent resonates with me, its like one of those fragrances that I searched my whole life for. At the same time the Silage "Projection" of Oud Wood is higher. I guess you can just say that's because one is an EDP and the other is not. Yet I still love what it love. Acqua Di Parma, Colonia Intensa Oud. UPDATE: THE MORE I WEAR IT THE MORE I LOVE IT!!! Acqua di Parmas Colonia Intensa take on oud, and what a great, unique way to do so! Opens up with a beautiful combination of oud, leather and citruses. You're hit with a fresh, warm and woody combination. The oud isn't skanky or barnyward oud, but very woody. The leather/wood/oud combination gives the same vibe you'll also find in Issay Miyake Noir Ambre. There is coriander as well that gives it a subtle, spicy touch and then musk rounds it off and also gives it a powdery and fresh touch. I've seen people talk about this being a rose/oud combo, but I cannot detect any rose what so ever. This really isn't a rose/oud combo. Again you have the Colonia Intensa DNA with oud. This also means, that if you normally do not like oud fragrances, but want to get into ouds, this might be something worth trying. Due to the fresh, musky feel to it, it can in theory be worn year round, but I wouldn't wear this on hot days. This is also something to go easy on the trigger with. One or two sprays on the chest will last you all day and you will be able to smell it for 10-12 hours easily with few sprays. Silage is also very decent, so be mindful not to choke people out. Age-range is probably a bit more mature, but again due to the freshness and powdery, I could see someone in their 20s wearing this. I would advise against blind buying, but if you love ouds, do check this one out! 8/10 as oud fragrances go.

I am a fan of the Acqua di Parma line and I think they do very classy interpretations of notes. Colonia Intensa Oud is another good one in their line up and as long as you are not expecting a heavy, middle eastern type Oud Frag, chances are you will like this. I feel this is also a great starter frag for someone just beginning to get into Oud as you get all the good parts of Oud here, albeit synthetic, without any of the off putting barnyard stuff. Top notes are a weird, slightly pungent combo of bitter citrus and Oud. The citrus notes fade and the Oud is joined by the leather and amyris or elemi notes and hints of mild, slightly sour spice from the coriander. This frag really starts to shine around the two hour mark when it turns into a beautiful, calm, slightly dry combo of leather and Oud and it stays this way all the way through the dry down, lasting a good 8 hours plus on me. Projects a lot in the first hour or so before settling down,but will give you a good 6 inch projection around you for most of it's scent life. Colonia Oud will work for most of the year except for hot summer months. ADP Colonia Oud does pretty much all the things I want from an Oud frag and does it with a bit of Italian flair n panache. I love it and one of my go to Ouds. 9/10

Perhaps my favorite Summertime oud fragrance that I have enjoyed wearing since purchasing a bottle in 2014. Oud, leather and coriander blended with citrus is what I get out of Intensa Oud, and I love it. For those expecting a deep, dank or medicinal oud...move-on because you're not not going to find it here. Instead, you're going to experience a lighter-oud- along the line of Creed Royal Oud--that shares top-billing with leather and coriander. Moreover, if you don't like coriander than you may not like this one since it is certainly noticeable. Offhand, I cannot see why more people did not vote for coriander as a more prominent note since it is extremely noticeable (front and center from top to bottom), but it is what it is. Personally, I love how coriander and citrus are used in Intensa Oud as they are combined to make a terrific oud fragrance that can be worn year-round, day or night and is classy at the office and appropriate for an intimate evening event. Longevity and projection are both excellent, but not beastly. One can wear this fragrance into the office during the day and it remains on your skin for a terrific evening cuddle scent. As much as I love this scent, it's a definite try because it's just a bit out of the mainstream.

For those who say, no longevity...you must have a medical issue, or octopus skin. I couldn't get this off me while Im laying in a hospital bed getting IV'ed after 3 hours. Like it was getting stronger and stronger. This was the FIRST OUD experience I had at Neimanns and waited til this week to pull the trigga. My problem is...it's too strong, even after a baby spray, so I'm trying to find a frag to calm it down!!! So far candidates on my arms and knees are: Mandorlo di Sicilia, Black Orchid, Chanel AHEB, and Terre dHermes. My nose can't take the initial blast. I'm a nooby but KNEW I needed something different...OUD was my choice over Amber or Vetiver right now. I OWN M7 Oud Absolute, samples and decants of MFK Oud, Velvet, Cashmere, Silk Moods, TF Oud Wood and coming from Kuwait..Ameer Al Oudh. OUD is pushing me to Ambers all of a sudden. I can't take Tuscan Leather (DIRT) smell, Someone came into NMarcus and said it smelled like Cocaine. I don't get the Citrus, thats why I'm layering. Mandorlo Vanilla is winning so far. 8 1/2 outta ten for me....due to strength and sillage and PRESENTATION!! TF needs to step up. Still on my neck since 11am, and it's 6 NOW...DRY SKIN....no unscented lotion needed...OR maybe I should???

According to Acqua di Parma's website, besides Colonia Intensa Oud Eau de Cologne Concentree, there is also a Colonia Oud version and it was awarded first place in the “Best Men’s Niche Fragrance” category at the 25th International Award of Accademia Del Profumo in May 2014. Direct quote from their site, "the fragrance opens with the purest essences of bergamot of Calabria and orange, a unique reference to the long-standing tradition of Colonia. This luminous start heralds a strongly assertive heart, where aromatic coriander blends with warm Amyris wood accents, developing through the magnetic notes of essential Agarwood oil. The fragrance continues with a surprising base, where the full and persistent character of sandal wood, the scent of leather and cedar wood, and patchouli meet clear and seducing musk notes, further valorizing the intense preciousness of Agarwood." Now I wonder if Colonia Oud is the same as Colonia Intensa Oud. If not, is there anyone who has ever tried Colonia Oud? Is there much difference and it better? What a fantastic scent! Finally an Acqua Di Parma I'll be happy to wear! Being Italian I've always wanted to have at least one in collection but so far nothing from the Colonia line had worked for me, although the scents are gorgeous they turn out too soapy, flowery and granmotherish. This one is rather PERFECT. Elegant, fresh but deep, refined, unique, sexy (the first sexy scent I smell from ADP) and a KING OF VERSATILITY! The more I smell it and the more I can imagine me wearing it in EVERY... I repeat because it's quite rare... E-V-E-R-Y kind of weather, season, time of the day or night, context or occasion. The only fragrance it reminds me of JUST A LITTLE BIT is Zoologist Rhinoceros, but without the booze and that Vicks Vaporub feel that I found really weird and hard to wear. It can be a signature scent without any problem whatsoever. 10 out of 10 fragrance, one of the best ever smelled. And can I say something surely unpopular: it's an Aventus killer. I don't mean it smells similar, it doesn't, but can serve exactly the same purposes perfectly, it's niche quality too and way less expensive.

First impression is that this is super juice but quite an odd concoction, as it's almost a clash of 2 completely opposing scent groups, but mixed perfectly to form a wonderful frag. I've never really liked ADP as a house but this has definitely encouraged me to explore them properly. From the get go this reminded me of original Kouros, not the reformulated stuff, but with an added massive citrus blast and arguably the bets woody notes I've ever smelt in a frag. And i'm no oud or Kouros fan at all but this just blew me away. ADPCO is an incredible scent, it has room filling projection and lasts easily 24 hours on my skin. I'm not usually a 'Buy it on first test' kind of guy but this and Black Afgano, which I think is arguably the greatest frag ever created, are two that I just fell in love with instantly. EDIT: 29 Aug, The idea of mixing citrus with oud seems bonkers, we all know the myriad of floral/Ouds and spicey/Oud combos but citrus? Who'd a thunk it.....I think this is just keeps getting better and better and I can't think of another scent that even comes close to resembling this.

ADP Colonia Intensa Oud - A different take on oud. Colonia Intensa Oud is a very different rendition of oud, with a fresh yet heavy aspect to it. And by that, I mean more of a cool balmy scent. Before trying this one out, I had a lot of curiosity about it as I knew it was an ADP release. ADP as a house, is known for its fresh sparkly colognes and its variations on that theme;So, throwing an oud based scent into the mix made it a pandora's box for me. Light, airy oud mixed with coriander, both sprinkled with some freshness, is what I get on my skin. The combination is pretty unique and well constructed and goes well on me. In terms of performance, this one is beast mode. Lasts for ages, and literally refuses to die. Projection is also quite heavy and stays around for a good while. However, I do not recommend a blind buy in this case, rather, it is a try before you buy kind of scent. Respect for ADP, for stepping out of its comfort zone and trying something new, but at the same time maintaining its signature. Thumbs up from me.

So normally I don't care for ADP and I find the line generic and underperforming mostly. This. How the @&€# did I miss this!? It is no beast, but it does have acceptable performance. Better then sauvage and edition blanche and most of the other "basic bastard" ubiquitous scents out there. Sweet oud, not animalic, very approachable, very rounded and polished. For most people, unless you knew it was oud, you may have a hard time distinguishing it. I feel like this was what Creed was trying to achieve with Royal oud and just failed miserably. This does it right. I bought the big 6+oz bottle after one day of wearing a decanted sample. Worth it. Scent: 7.5/10 it isn't an art piece but it is definitely signature scent worthy. Projection 6/10 for 2-3 hours and a rapid decline to near-skin/skin only afterwards. Sillage: 6/10 for an hour or so then a very slight train. Longevity: 7/10 even on my skin, I get 7 hours of use which is amazing for an ADP. Would I buy another bottle? Absolutely.

Thinking of making it my signature, over the darkest coldest part of winter. 10ml decant from Ebay with free shipping, £9.95; cumulatively cheaper than many outlets charge for a full bottle. My first shot was sickly and cloying. The next time was extra dry and woody. Gorgeous. It seems powerful. And 10 minutes later, even more so. One spray on a wrist, then rubbing over other wrist, and the neck, was plenty. Though one spray from Ebay seller phials tends to be too much- so possibly you can risk 2 sprays from the branded container if you own a bottle. It's down to personal preference, but I love the intense woody aroma. It compliments the icy air of the day or evening. I personally like it as a daytime scent. If you're trigger happy, it could be suffocating for people who hate it. And I expect some will hate it. I haven't worn it in front of my official fragrance adviser yet. She's brutally honest

I'm not an oud connoisseur -- far from it. The one time I smelled a "true" oud at Jamal Kazura in Singapore's Arab Street I found it offputting; maybe it wasn't a "good" oud, though I doubt the shopkeeper would put his stellar reputation at risk by stocking a substandard oil. I like Creed's Royal-Oud, though I've heard that it's a synthetic oud note and that it isn't comparable to a true oud perfume anyhow; I hate Bond's New York Oud (to me it somehow manages to smell like rotting daisies). But I love this AdP Colonia Oud. It's rich, sweet and woody, and lasts forever. I find myself smelling it JUST BECAUSE... and when I'm wearing another scent, I crave this one. Maybe that's a little crazy, but that's just how alluring this cologne is to me. I bought this together with their Colonia Leather: they're both excellent, but this one's the king.

Okay so I have been playing and layering. This is my new favorite oud. I like it better then Tom Fords oud wood or many of the others ive sampled. Today I layered it with the over done trendy fragrance A*Men Angel. Not the regular Angel but the one that was supposedly aged in a vat of leather for five years. A*men Cuir. The combo was very sweet and long lasting. I almost received as many compliments as when I wear Sycomore & Coromandel together. So it projects! Let me tell you. Plus I loved smelling myself everywhere. At the gym, tanning, swimming lessons. I got out of the pool and guess what. I could still smell it. I topped it off with some "Leather N10Z" by Intense, and I am now laying in bed about to drift into dreamland with my muscles smelling like a big Arabic chocolate bar.

Finally an Oud that one can wear all year long! If new to the hobby of perfumery or just wanting a good signature scent I would highly reccomend getting this! After wearing it for the first time I'm speculating a possible reform as the first time I wore this it dried down to a over sweetend dark scent. Now it seem lighter and more woodsy, could of been a off batch too. Anyways, I caked a few sprays on a saks the other day and it lasted all day long and was a great fragrance. Smells very very good: no medicinal Oud, not overly done or complex and not the harsh Oud that some fragrances portray. This is a great fragrance and I think it deserves lots more attention to it.

I Will tell you who you are . You are an European entrepreneur who worked Many years of his life in the Middle East, in the Gulf to be more precise. Yes this stuff is for the refined gentleman who wears a black suit and drives a Mercedes. It’s not only the Oud here . You get a generous blast of elegant leather note in the beginning. So Royal. Then comes fruity notes in between. When you think the stuff is starting cooling down you will get a long lasting Oud note that will last for hours . You will smell Oud to the next day. Even your sheets will take a share of this good stuff. So sophisticated , elegant and unique. Simply a master piece, well done 👍 Acqua du Parma.

Sometimes names can be a bit deceptive but lets get it straight...If you're looking for a powerful woody, Oud centric fragrance, look elsewhere. I like the smell of Oud and it is strangely intoxicating but I don't know what all the fuss is about really? It's down to taste and what you look for. Is it the notes that surround Oud that give a fragrance it's character or is it vice versa? Well it depends... This is typical of an ADP Cologne, stylish, classic citrus in the top and wonderfully fresh feel with nice, gentle Oud in the base. So some pretty special juice and shouldn't be judged on the name because it doesn't deliver masses of Oud, it's great fragrance.

I blind bought this gem, based on the positive comments and I am very happy that I did so. It is really expensive and hard to find, but in overall the scent is very sophisticated and the performance is remarkable.. It stayed on my skin for more than 10 hours and the sillage was Ok; I got noticed even 6 hours in... Usually I never get compliments on my frags, but for this one I received two in a day. A very nice lady even asked me what I was wearing... I will keep this little beast in my collection and use it on special occassions. This is real gentlemen stuff and could be even better pulled off with a suite & tie... Enjoy...

For once, this is not the oud you smell on Middle-easterns tourists - and you're not going to be running into this scent very often. Thankfully so. It's so unique, it's a split-personality masterpiece with a stallion performance. If you're gonna wear that make sure you've got the goods that go with it because you will definitely get noticed. I tend to find oud rather unexciting when it's the dominating note (think Oud Wood). That's purely personal. But in this frag the citrus combined with the oud is what brings oomph to the composition. It's very unexpected. This is a mind-blowing scent. It's radioactivity in a bottle!

A very unique and interesting mix of citrus and oud. It opens as many Acqua di Parma fragrances do with a burst of citrus (I detect bergamot and orange). Things evolve and you begin to notice the medicinal oud from the heart mixed with spicy Russian coriander and warm amyris wood (I'm beginning to become a huge fan of amyris notes). I believe it is here in the heart that this fragrance truly shines. The inclusion of leather notes, cedar, patchouli, sandalwood and musk in the base is rather subtle to my nose, but all add more complexity to the scent. Would make a great masculine fragrance for the cooler months. (89)

The scent that got me into trying new things. Prior to receiving a sample of this from an online niche fashion outfit, I had only encountered the real mainstream outputs of the big Houses - from the likes of; Dior, Chanel, JPG. Basically front line duty free available products. One smell of this and I was hooked on OUD and the signature of ADP. The one is rich and deep, woody and leather laden, smooth and citrusy but with little of the sharp 'anamalic' funk of some Ouds. Very recommended, especially as a gateway from the more mass market crowd pleasers. Plus if you like this one also have a look at the ADP Leather.

Changing your usual rose/oud combo to citrus/oud in Acqua di Parma way and doing it very well. This is a fresh aromatic oud of high quality blend. The oud is dry and clean, not the stinky kind. In the opening, the citrus accord pops and, while losing it's power gradually, still lingers in the background for hours. There is something aromatic in there which elevates the scent and makes it unique. A few hours in and I get the clean musky base that adds some sweetness. AdP has made a strong scent that works in every season (regarding how many sprays you use) and goes to the more wearable side of the ouds. 9/10

My all time very favorite men's fragrance, and I own over 19 different bottles of fragrances ACQUA DI PARMA OUD is hands down my signature fragrance I get compliments on it all the time. My friends, co-workers, and even my doctor loves this fragrance. I have both (2012 men's version) and, the unisex (2019 version). This fragrance reminds me of fresh cut wood it's perfect for day, night and, even to wear to work.☝️ 👍 Except the price is very high I spent years waiting/saving to buy it and, just this past Spring of 2020 I finally bought both versions of this fragrance. Worth the investment and, wait.

Bought this at the weekend and have worn it twice. My initial review below is fairly accurate as to how I feel about this fragrance...in a nutshell it's great smelling. I was convinced to fork out on it by my girlfriend, she absolutely adored it and as such was very persuasive. I will have to correct my playing down of the Oud element in my first review, this scent has Oud in abundance but it's not at all rough or full on it's soft and very long lasting. The mixture of amyris & coriander with oud is quite a dizzying, sickly combo which takes a bit of getting used to but when you do it's great.

Always thought of this as the perfect blend of rose and oud. The opening is almost varnish like, with harsh woody projection and an almost offensive bitterness to it. It dies down rather quickly into a rosy, warm, pungent Middle Eastern style fragrance with enormous projection. This was my go to scent for daily wear (one squirt was plenty) during the summer, and by mid afternoon I smelled like a rose garden in full bloom with that royal oud base note wafting through. Really love this one, by far one of ADP's best creations.

I've tried several oud fragrances in the past few years (TF Oud Wood, Creed Royal Oud, Ferrari Essence Oud and several Montale's), but this one has the weakest oud note to my nose. Maybe its because of the blend with the leather notes. Or maybe its the fizzy lemon-lime beverage top notes. But it's great as a combo. Unique for a fragrance, although it smells like something I've smelled before but can't quite put my finger on. Longevity and sillage are excellent - all day coverage without being overpowering. A winner.

Great ‘fresh’ oud, with terrific staying power. Very good projection en silage for the first 2-3 hours. After 5 or 6 hours you get more of the woody oud part. That woody scent ...on.clothes it’s still there after 2 weeks !! I was at a bar where a lady came back to me because wanted to smell this scent again. she was in love with the scent, not with me...;-) Get your hand on this ‘cologne concentree’ in the brown bottle, Because it’s the same as the new black bottles and they are almost double the price...

I don't know what to compare this to. It has that AdP DNA, but it also has a woodiness to it that is just lovely. If you can get this with the coffin case, that alone is worth the price tag. I find it has an almost sportiness to it, that many probably wouldn't want to agree with. It's definitely wearable. Isn't something you only can pull out on special occasion. You can use it whenever: both casual and professional. I love it and will keep it in my collection for a long time to come. Happy Hunting!

I really don't see this as a daytime or summer scent. The leather and oud notes are so dominant you would get the stinkface on the beach. Great for cooler temps and nights. I am not a big leather fan but I do like this mixed with the oud. The citrus notes are very tame and don't exist beyond the first 30 minutes or so. Longevity is over 10 hours with great silage as well. If I were a big leather fan I would pick up a bottle but for now, my decant is good enough.

Three levels to this: citrus top(mainly fresh bergamot), resinous dark oud, and a hint of leather(like Tuscan leather). This is some pretty awesome juice. The oud is so intense that if you take a really deep sniff, it will burn the nostrils. It's definetely full bottle worthy and on my list for future purchase. Never had such a succes , in summer ,with this perfume . It's like an aura around you , people still smell it when you think it"s gone and ask you '" is that you ...who smells so nice ?" ( at least 3 times each night in discos ) . I thought it would be great in winter , tried it in summer in Ibiza ...and realised it could be my signature in any season . Sensual , dark without being too animal , deep with a touch of freshness : quite a perfection ...

A fresh take on oud. Sampled this in-store last weekend in Chicago with very positive first impressions and now can't wait to get a bottle. Kept my test strip and have been coming back for whiffs multiple times a day. Seriously impressive performance for a cologne concentree and it's agreeable this could be used as a year round oud. I'll have to test further once I have a bottle but I can easily see this being a 10/10 frag for me.

I really like this one. IMO it is a cross between Montale Black Aoud and Maison Francis Kurkdjian's Oud. If you the like the Montale, but find Black Aoud too strong, this one will suit you. If you like MFK's Oud, but don't like the price tag, here is a cheaper, but equally as good (maybe a bit better) option. **EDIT** OK, been wearing this for a day now, still love it. The dry down of this fragrance is like Armani Privé Royal Oud.

I recently bought a ADP Colonia Intensa, loving the scent, but so disappointed about the longevity, it lasted for max 1 hour then all gone. So I decided to look around for another ADP, with awesome longevity, and I found this. It's nothing like the Intensa, but it's really awesome! I just love the smell of the Oud, and the longevity is.. awesome at least. Would really recomend this to people looking for gentleman scent.

Very lovely light oud, like Robert Piguet Oud mixed with Byredo Oud Immortel. No flowery (rose) additions but no heavy oud accords either. Very Nice! I don't get any leather note but this is beautiful anyway. Longevity is not super great, but still, I think worth the price! After about 5 hours it sits pretty close to the skin, but still very noticeable. Update: Going on 10 hours and still lovely!

This is absolutely unique! An exquisite blend of rich essences that seduces me especially since there isn't anything sweet in it. Something old and something new... Citrus notes and spices in shades of dark green. A gentleman from the countryside wearing tweeds while roaming the woods. Casually elegant. Manly and bold! A beautiful Indian summer or a misty late autumn and early winter morning.

Acqua di Parma Light-Rose Oud. I'm surprised the notes don't mention rose when it's so prominent, at least to my curious non-professional nose. It strikes me as a light-colored pink rose though, and not a rich deep red one. Also, the refreshing side of this fragrance didn't make it work so well during the winter months. I had better luck in warmer climate.

Smells pure quality! It is very unique and sharp I would say since I haven't smelled anything similar to this. The oud is definitely there but it is rather very soft. The leather is really heavy and I also notice a kind of soapy/minty note in this. Try it before you pay 200 dollars for a bottle!! Scent 8/10 Projection 8/10 Longevity 9/10 Quality 9/10

Wanting to buy an Oud Fragrance I looked hard at others reviews. This is the one I got and have no regrets. A Citrus too note when applying that fades away into a really nice leather and mellow Oud. Love at first scent. When wanting the best out of a fragrance you wish for one like this. One of my personal favorites for any occasion all year round!

I bought this last June and I'd noticed someone suggested it was more of a warm weather fragrance. So I tried it. And yeah, they weren't wrong. It works so well on the hottest days. It projects and lasts all day. I find it a little too cold for winter wear and I personally prefer something a little deeper, darker and cosier on a cold English day.

Lovely stuff, a beautiful citrus opening followed later by a lovely oud. Excellent longevity, for an eau de cologne. AdP wants it to be exclusive, so it isn't sold everywhere. Major let-down is the price: 160 euros for a 100 ml bottle. Too exclusive for my wallet.

I love this, it's beautiful on it's own or using a small amout in combination with another scent to oomph up other perfumes :-) Not just for men, I am a woman in her thirties and it is pure decadence - confidence and glamour in a bottle. Not for the faint hearted!

This stuff is awesome. It DOES smell like fabric softener, like royal fabric sofener! This is no run of the mill scent. I personally think it's a good blind buy. Very potent but not overpowering. It's a balance of wood an fruit unlike I've ever smelt. 8-10

Wohaaa!! This is some serious stuff. i just received my package and it is intoxicating. I let my colleague test it and as I write, he is ordering his bottle. This would stand next to aventus in my collection :D It's a billionaire's scent. Period!

Very fresh oud. Fresher than Creed's Royal Oud. Nice sillage, very good longevity. Elegent and versatile. As the fresh AdP-DNA is always noticable, i would prefer wearing it on a sunny but cold winter day or on warm summer nights.
