Colonia Leather Eau de Cologne Concentrée

(THIS REVIEW WAS PENNED A WHILE AGO WHEN THIS CAME OUT.) I've Been waiting to try this for ages! Took so long for stores to get it that I actually stopped looking and forgot about it to an extent. The reason I was anticipating this so much was due to my love of leather fragrances and my hope that this would be the holy grail...and is it? Well, sort of? It is and it isn't... Reason being the opening was stunning, really great, rich, opulent almost dark, slightly smoky leather. When I say 'leather' I do mean an accurate and stunning leather note. So far so good you might think and you'd be right it's worthy of praise but then starts to change into familiar territory. By this I'm talking TF Tuscan leather and Clive Christian C complete with raspberry note and all...again not a criticism, C is one of my absolute favourite fragrances and I've extensively tested Tuscan leather (which I controversially said is not as good) so I like to think I know what I'm talking about here. In fact I think this is less complex than C more toward Tuscan leather but still very complex and different to both in the most subtle way. It tightropes between smelling like an accurate leather, maybe even a hint of citrus, something slightly more soapy and cleaner then back to CC C/TF TL. Now I have Oud concentree and that has epic longevity and obnoxious silage on my skin, almost to the point of it being too much even for me to wear and I was expecting the same from this juice. Don't get me wrong here the performance of this juice is very good and way, way up there. Silage and trail are pretty massive for the first few hours but doesn't quite have the godlike longevity status of Clive Christian C....nor is it as heady and complex, magical or even 'harsh' for want of a better word.

Colonia Leather may very well be the Goldilocks of the full-flavored leather fragrances. On one hand, I have Tuscan Leather, Golden Boy and La Yuqawam Homme that many consider too strong and too dark, while Cuir de Russie, Cuir Cannage and others may come across as being too weak or contain too many floral notes. Colonia Leather manages to strike that "just right" accord. My issue (and imagine that I am not alone) is that I really love the strong/dark leather fragrances, but they are not something I wear often during the Spring/Summer months. That's what Colonia Leather does better than all the others...it's full-flavored leather; not too strong and not too weak; and it's a leather scent a man can wear proudly year round to include the Spring/Summer months. It is leather from top-to-bottom, with a fresh citrus opening and a bit of woods and floral (deep in the background) to keep things in check. It's that simple, and it's that elegant. I really didn't have a "go to" full-flavored leather fragrance for this time of year until adding Colonia Leather to my Scent Armory. Sure, I could go with one-spray of Tuscan Leather, but men enjoy that scent more than women and, to me, it's extremely cloying during the warmer months. Moreover, while I enjoy light-leather frags such as Fan di Fendi Pour Homme, Vince Camuto for Men and Carolina Herrera CH Men...sometimes you just want to smell an full-flavored leather scent during the Summer months, and Acqua di Parma nailed this scent genre. Anyway, AdP Colonia Leather is certainly worth taking a sniff if you're looking for a full-flavored warm-weather leather fragrance. It's the only one I own filling this niche category. Finally, this fragrance does not remind me of Tuscan Leather - but your mileage may vary.

Colonia Leather is the second chronologically of the Acqua di Parma concentree line, and the second I've tried, and is a very strong leather entry in the limited world of leather fragrances that I've sampled. Comparisons to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather are more than appropriate, given the pairing of a traditional leather smell and the Colonia smell of citrus (I even get some neroli, though it is not listed in the note breakdown). Colonia Leather is more citrus, Tuscan Leather is more of a varied fruity smell (i.e. berries), but Colonia Leather still has some sweetness of its own. It's worth to try both to compare, though admittedly, Colonia Leather is about half the price ($166 for 100ml on FragranceNet vs. about $300 for 100ml TL through most retail). Surely that comes down to price. I'd argue that Colonia Leather might be redundant enough with Coach Leatherware No. 3, which is now discontinued but I managed to locate a couple of months ago, as even Leatherware No. 3 is a similar essential expression of leather with some citrus and woody aspects. Performance-wise, it's certainly stronger than most Acqua di Parma offerings, both from the Colonia and Blu lines, and is probably the strongest I've tried in terms of both projection and longevity, on par with Colonia Ambra (I still need to try Colonia Oud). However, Colonia Leather isn't as strong as Tuscan Leather, and in that respect is a little easier to wear on a year-round basis. Very strong, versatile leather fragrance. Highly and frequently wearable but also refined enough to dress up and keep as a fragrance for special occasions. I highly recommend trying this out, as despite lacking the Tuscan Leather reputation, I imagine that many will find this better. 8 out 10

Beautifully made leather fragrance. Bold, in the same league as Colonia Oud. At this price point, one has to make decision, I opt for Colonia Oud. That said, Colonia Leather is a close 2nd. Edit: I have both on my skin now. The leather is indeed similar to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, but rounder and without the rasperry note. (I prefer AdP's over TF's). That said, there is rose showing up in the drydown, that brings it back towards the TL path. The reason I opt for the Colonia Oud is that the drydown is similar to Colonia Leather, but without sweetness. In summary: for me, Colonia Leather wins in the opening, and Colonia Oud in the drydown. Edit 2: I have to edit completely my comment. Colonia Leather has a beautiful opening, that is a fresh, then shortly after, a bolder woody leather. Really great. The guaiac wood then leaves the stage to let the rose take over the supporting role, and that results in the drydown being a carbon copy of TF Tuscan Leather. Not really for my taste, and a little too "in your face" to be elegant. Of AdP's Oud-Ambra-Leather trio, leather is probably the one that has the strongest projection, with a heavy projection in the first hour, followed by moderate in the following 2-3 hours, and softer projection for another 1-2 hours after that. That said, of these 3, it's the one who has the shortest longevity (approx. 8 hours), but still more than enough for what is needed for a long evening. As for my preferences, I have to say that Ambra is now on top of the podium, with Oud as a close 2nd. Unfortunately the similarity with TF's TL makes it a no-go for me, but for those who liked TL, it's a must! (better than TL imo).

I’m sure that everyone has that one fragrance in their collection that they would miss if it was discontinued. For me, it’s this one. I start to miss this if I don’t wear it every once in awhile. It is by far my favorite leather fragrance. I even spray it on the inside of my leather jackets and leather travel bags because they should smell like this. This is what leather is supposed to smell like. I’m a leather guy though. I want leather seats in my trucks and cars. I prefer leather furniture. Yeah, I got my boots on. I used to leave my saddle in the back seat of my truck/car just so I could smell the leather when I opened the door and while on the road. Leather is one of those universal items that belongs in and also connects so many different categories. From antique to modern, from blue collar usefulness to what transforms typical in to luxury, leather is a tie that binds. It’s one of the few things that a rugged biker has in common with an eccentric tycoon, and it keeps the cowboy from being too far removed from the city slicker; give us our leather. And leather this is. A perfect leather. If orange peel was made out of leather, this is what it would smell like. That’s the vision I have anyway. Just like the real deal, the durability and longevity are both fantastic. Sillage is just right, others will know you’ve been there but didn’t wear out your welcome. I would wear this anywhere, at any time, except for the beach.

Fragrance -Colonia Leather Acqua di Parma Bottle from - 2016 This fragrance reminds me of a profound,enlightened and elegant gentleman who is on an important mission. Colonia Leather is a dark yet bright,sophisticated,classy, refined,citrusy,clean and woody interpretation of leather with an astonishing touch of divine rose and with a wisper of a bit green petitgrain. Colonia Leather has some similarities to C for Men by Clive Christian and Tuscan Leather by Tom Ford,but Colonia took a bit different approach.I would say a more elegant,less playful,more classy,more illuminated,more refined and a bit brighter approach. Longevity - 10/10(10+ hours) Silage/Projection - 9/10(heavy projection and silage for the first 3-4 hours) Weather -For more or less any time of year.I personally wouldn't wear this on a really hot summer days. Age - 27+ Compliments - 9/10 Scent - 10/10 Main notes according to me - leather,guaiac wood,rose,orange,lime,cedar. The drydown is woody,leathery,smoky,a bit dry,bitter and green and I get some -leather,woodiness and petitgrain. Emotions - elegant,enlightened,sophisticated,illuminated, classy,refined,profound,timeless. Occasion -Perfect for special occasions,life defining moments,formal and semi-formal events. This is the scent of a true gentleman.

It is natural to compare this to Tuscan Leather - being what is considered by many to be the quintessential leather fragrance. I consider the leather note in this fragrance to be indistinguishable from Tom Ford. However, that is where the similarities end. TFTL, by comparison, is a sweeter scent - like a spoonful of honey is viscous and sweet on the tongue, TL is like that on the nose. This ADP does not share that sweet, sticky texture. It is a drier feel - like might be expected from a fragrance with a strong tobacco note. However, if you are as partial to leather in a fragrance as I am, then this is no less intoxicating. I get only the faintest whiff of the woods when not trying to pick them, and hardly any citrus (despite some differing reviews - perhaps a failure on my part). I do seek out the leather in this though, so the rest may be purely atmosphere to my brain. I would also consider this to be a good example of how TFTL is a unisex fragrance (which took me some time to accept). It is far clearer when compared to a drier leather like this one. For any men considering TFTL but unsure about the price tag - this is definitely something to consider. It is not especially cheap, but it is, by comparison, cheaper.

This is probably the most wearable leather fragrance I've owned. I've owned many all the classics like TL, OL etc. I will say I LOVE Ombre Leather Parfum. They give me the same vibe and energy. This is a class take on leather very much down the TL route albeit smoother, rounded and softer. This is an EDC after all and lasts a good few hours. The citrus & woody notes in here are very nice and set it apart from its counterparts. This is versatile for a leather perfume, im 6 foot, solid build etc and love TL but honestly I think this is better. This and OLP are the best leathers, ADPL for winter/fall and OLP for spring/winter. I think this could be worn in summer in thr evening in a specific situation it would be 🔥 Is this mind blowing? No Is this groundbreaking? No Is this a standout perfume? No Then what is it? Well its just a really great smooth take on this leather DNA. I don't find it harsh, ashy, dirty etc its a crisp clean leather with a slight edge to it. Its classy and refined. 9/10 - Losing a point for versatility (Not a complete year round perfume) 10/10 - Leather DNA, this is what you want to wear to be noticed but not choke people out. Bravo! This, Mirra & Essenza are incredible compositions!

One of my top favorite / A niche quality Scent **** Ingredient Structure: - Head: Brazilian Orange, Lime - Body: Petitgrain Paraguay, Rose - Base: Leather, Guaiac Wood, Cedar If you are into Leather scents, appreciate sophistication elegance luxury and can afford the price, then this is a must-have for you! But do not blind buy, this is an strong opinionated scent, you would either love or hate it :) just like TF Tuscon Leather fans camps! I am personally not pro citrus DNA/opening makes, but if you know Acqua Di Parma DNA, you should be able to admire the formula in introducing a well-presentation citrus opening which it further launch the pleasant civilized smoky leather with a base with a woody green cedar landing which is not so prolonged. My only expectation for this category and price would have been a better projection and longevity over 4 hours on my skin (which it might vary on other skin types ;) ) So, my final grade: - Scent: 9.5/10 - Silage: 9/10 - Projection: 9/10 - Longevity: 8.5/10 Total 9/10 **** Among Top 5 Leather Notes!

Another masterpeice by Francois Demachy who gave us the most elegant leather of all time; Dior Homme Parfum. ✨👑 (and just liked the beloved DHP, AdP Colonia Leather is also discontinued 🙄) AdP Colonia Leather is slightly fresher and lighter than the EdP version. But make no mistake is this is still a smokey primal brooding dark leather where the Paraguayan Guaiac wood takes center stage and gives you that dark smokey aspect of a leather accord. They both share the exact scent profile 💯 The difference is just in the intensity of the notes. ✨ It's a true leather fragrance where the leather is always present throughout the fragrance's journey with you. The famous AdP citrus is also here to give it that elegant freshness, preparing you for a dark descent into the primal dark journey of the rugged bold leather accord. This is such a well-blended formulation! The cedar gives it that alpha masculine sharpness. 😎 This smells like you had to do some hard decisions in your head. It is a very serious fragrance, which is why it's leaning very formal. 🤵 A video review is also available on my YT ▶️

Colonia Leather Eau de Cologne Concentrée by Acqua di Parma had been on my "want list" for a few months. To me, this scent is waaaaay better than Tuscan Leather. That's just my skin opinion, ok? With the top notes of Brazilian orange, Sicilian lime, the heart notes of rose and petit grain from Paraguay, then base notes of leather, Atlas cedar and guaiac wood from Paraguay, this scent makes me happy, comfortable, and artistic. It's like a calming drug, too. I can't sense the lime or orange in the opening, but everything is so very well blended and strongly reminds me of my old soft and worn out leather jacket with the faint smell of the array of perfume throughout the years still present. It does have a nice depth to it, not as dry as Tuscan Leather, but warm and dewy, in a comforting way. This is another of those true unisex fragrances that can easily go both ways. Longevity is about 6 hours and sillage low to medium.

Eau de Cologne Concentree? EDT? Or maybe lasting power of a parfum but projection and silliage of a cologne? Marketing ploy? yeah probably the latter. Anyways the scent. Since I've smelt and worn TL I've been on a quest to find a similar scent without the raspberry note of TL, it ruins it for me. My wife said it best about TL "It's like I went out for the night with a man and got so hammered that I came home with a woman" So this was next on my list. It is very nice, it's the exact same leather as TL but fresher and not so heavy. This can be worn year round easily. But as this dries down something is still unsettling to me. It might be the rose, something is giving me a "first Aid Kit" type of smell in there. Shit. While I like this better than TL for sure, it's still not my luxury leather scent. On to Montale aoud leather next. Fingers crossed. Longevity is about 6 to 7 projection is about 7 too and scent is an 8

Nothing makes me happier than a fragrance that delivers. In this case I'd say acqua di parma colonia leather eau de cologne concentree over-delivered. First I want a leather fragrance to be a leather fragrance; that means, it makes me think of a certain type of leather. I also want it to be bold and luxurious. If I want any leather upholstery or jacket, I want it to be authentic and well made; and same will apply to my fragrances. I don't want a "pleather", I want the real deal. Of course being a fragrance, a nice blend of other notes to enrich the main note is allowed, but not overpowering or taking anything way from the main note. If the leather is aggressive or smooth I wouldn't mind either, as long as it is quality with excellent performance. Thats what you'll get with colonia leather; rose, bergamot, petigrain, orange, guaiac wood, and cedar, all blended together...well!

I decided to try Acqua de Parma leather....this juice is UNBELIEVABLY all leather. I haven't come across a frag where leather is as realistic as this one is. After spraying it on my skin I feel like I was in stable all day with that deep animalistic quality all over me. The woodsy base of guaiac gives this juice depth which is untouchable making it ABSOLUTELY SEXY. Longevity and Silage is excellent lasting over 8hrs...you can pick up the aroma about 2ft away. Finally thoughts, I've tried several different version of leather frag's. The top two which I enjoy is either Tom Ford or Acqua de Parma leather. If you want a real attractive leathery blend this juice is worth it. Perfect during the fall/winter months and going into early spring. Adjective which describes this fragrance is Sexy, Sophisticated, Elegant and Masterpiece. 9.5/10.....I recommend this juice without a doubt!

For me, this is far more of a straight-up leather served with a warmer feel than the comparison to Tom Ford Private Blend Tuscan Leather (although smelling reminded me that I should indulge in the latter more often). For many, the decision point is more likely preferences: If you want a very distinct, bold, and uncomplicated leather scent, the AdP Leather should prove very likable. For those wanting a more complex development with saffron and berry notes, Tuscan Leather would be more to your liking. Otherwise, everything you could say about longevity and sillage would be virtually identical for each. Price, however, is a different story. Edge to the AdP for better value ounce-for-ounce. I honestly like each for what they offer individually. This is well-composed, so anyone wanting a no-nonsense leather scent, look no further.

Beautiful! But tricky sillage. I find that it stays VERY close to the skin in cooler temperatures. When my skin warms up, the scent comes back. A bit softer than I'd like it to be. Some people have compared this to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather, and I can see why. There is definitely a similarity here, but a little toned down. I also find it sharing similarities with La Yuqawam Homme. But Colonia Leather is on a slightly higher level. Just a bit more character and certainly a MUCH finer presentation. Colonia Leather comes in an exquisite satin lined box with faux hinged lid, and the bottle itself exudes luxury. More so than Tom Ford, IMHO. I'm not in a hurry to buy a full bottle of this, though. I'll have to live with it for a while longer, but for the time being Yuqawam Homme has enough of the same accord to keep me satisfied.

The Acqua di Parma Colonia Leather Concentrée is beautiful. Along with Tom Ford's Ombre Leather this is one of the best leather fragrances you will have the pleasure of wearing. As mentioned below in several other reviews it does smell like shoe polish, but the most luxurious shoe polish you will ever smell. It is linear, and that is not a bad thing at all. It's how I would prefer a scent like this one to be. Not much projection; I feel it stays close. As for longevity, goodness me, I got way over 15 hours with three sprays yesterday. And even after I showered I still got whiffs of it while snuggling up in bed. Acqua di Parma Colonia Leather Concentrée is classy, it is an elegant scent. If you like leather fragrances I suggest you get both the Acqua di Parma and the Tom Ford. You will not be disappointed.

This is everything I was looking for in tuscan leather. It is just a stunningly beautiful fragrance. I get this beautiful, smooth leather handbag at the opening. Whereas this is smooth and creamy, tuscan leather is harsh and brash! Not saying I dislike TL, i just find it too abrasive. This is softened by a citrus blend that takes it down a path that differs completely from Tuscan leather. Then, the most interesting thing happens with this frag. When it starts to dry down I get his bubblegum feel to it? I have heard of a fragrance called bubblegum chic, I used to go wtf? Who would make a bubblegum fragrance and call it luxury? Well this perfume's drydown makes me understand that bubblegum accord in a truly luxurious way! it is bizarre but rather beautiful! This is a masterpiece! 10/10 terrific stuff!

Very good blended leather fragrance. Everything in the composition work in order to intensify that leather note. This is kinda awesome, since the leather in this concoction is amazing. Its invigorating, raw, and potent. There is a hint of freshness in the opening, though this only lasts for minutes. The oud note in the background is detectable; but its only there to support the leather. Of course, this being a leather note, it gets compared to other leather offerings from Tom Ford (Tuscan leather / Ombre leather). From the designer Realm, Gucci guilty absolute comes close to this. Performance is excellent. Sillage is classy and not at all offensive, even if over sprayed. Its easy to wear; and awesome to smell.

The first couple of hours all I get is a not-very-masculine sweet floral, but when it's properly dry the leather and wood come through and this becomes positively intoxicating. As others have suggested, if you don't like this at the first sniff: stay with it! It's lovely. I bought this together with the AdP Colonia Oud, which will be my fragrance for the remainder of the winter, but I'll return to Leather in the springtime. Looking forward to it! Edit: I don't know what the actual concentration of fragrance oils is, but I think the "eau de cologne" label, even with the "concentree" designation, is a bit of a misnomer. This is powerful stuff, and in my experience it lasts forever.

Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather is one of my favorite scents. It is listed as a unisex fragrance, but personally I find it very masculine. Colonia Leather, to me, is like a unisex Tuscan Leather. It has that rich and pure leather smell that Tuscan Leather has, but the mandarin and rose really add a softness that I think makes this more appealing to more people, where Tuscan Leather seems more like a love it or hate it kind of fragrance. It also gives it a more unisex touch. I love this scent. Also, I didn't think I could wear a rich leather scent on a hot day, but this worked beautifully. The citrus adds a freshness to it that also makes it kind of a more versatile Tuscan Leather.

This is fragrance is one of my lastest purchases, alongside with Pardon by Nasomatto (I'll get there after this first impressions review) and here's my initial thoughts. Such a fantastic take on leather! It starts fresh, citrucy, juicy and, after the initial blast, comes a warm, classy and elegant leather note, like you were inside of a brand new Mercedes-Benz leather interior. The leather note is definitely the main character of this scent, followed with some woodiness, creaminess and a slight sweetness coming from the guaiac wood and citrus. So far it seems to be a long lasting fragrance. High quality and unique scent that deserves more attention. LOVE IT!

Having a sample! wanting so much to try this one! Classiness luxiourious italian leather! Yeah nice fragrance, after few wearing, I recognize this one is a solid scent. First, it start with a blast of rose and citrus leather. Then the leather took slowly the place on the drydown. To my nose, it's a mix of Potion Royal black with that rose note and the leather of Tuscan Leather without the cocaine vibe of it. Longevity is great, got 8-10 hours even for a EdC concentrée (EdT concentration if you want to be honest) not very versatile but formal and clubbing at night. Fall and winther because of its great projection| Great fragrance, Try it out!

One word "FANTASTIC" dont be fooled by the cologne concentree this one is potent and last a very long time. I sprayed 5 heavy ones today 5 hiurs later i am still projecting like crazy and this is an honest experience. Performance wise falls into montale category despite the cologne concentree, smell wise awesome quality. Leather is the star of the show and youbwill get it, a very nice leather woody combination with a hint of freashness lurking. Overall a love for me on this one. Now to get the oud and ambra. Side note blind buying this would not hurt at all if you are into leather smokey scents. Its not that cloying or heavy it's just right.

Oh man...this is one of those scents that hits my olfactory system just right and renders me stupid with pleasure; the pleasure I derive from this scent feels almost criminal. That's my subjective experience. More objectively, this stuff smells like leather, delivered to the nose with a texture that's somehow both tart and velvety. It shares a lot of similarities to Tuscan Leather, but lacks TL's histrionics. TL smells really, really good; Colonia Leather makes me rapturous and weak in the knees. I'll certainly buy a bottle when I finish school. I just wish it came in 50ml instead of only in giant bottles.

ADP Colonia Leather is a clean, soft leather. Mostly Citrus and leather notes with Guaiac wood. Projection is a bit on the softer side but then ADP frags arent meant for Montale type projection. Longevity is really good,around the 7-8 hour mark on me which is fine since I mostly use this for formal events in the night. Goes great with a dark suit and tie. Slightly on the expensive side but worth it in my book. You need a lighter leather like this in your wardrobe for the days and occasions when Tuscan leather, Godolphin, or La Yuqawam might be too heavy. Wonderful leather fragrance. recommended. 8.5/10

1. I was relieved to find it dissimilar to Tuscan Leather (maybe after 4 hrs, or on paper). 2. I don't know if I can call this "citrus" at any point; it's like a lemon/lime without the zesty freshness nor the fruity sweetness, while not so bitter either... What is that? 3. It's actually quite smokey! Based on the notes listed I can only assume it's the guaiac wood, since there's no tobacco or incense. Overall it's pretty well rounded; no sharp edge but not boring, easy to wear in most occasions, masculine and even dark and sexy (yet slightly refreshing); better than Tuscan Leather and its clones

In the same vein of the Oud, Acqua di Parma has created a fresh leather. While it might sound unusual pairing leather with citruses, the result is very nice. In the opening I get a minty accord that goes with the citruses. The leather is there, shy at the first spray, but becoming stronger and stronger by the minute, and the overall feeling is of an airy and bright leather. Like how they did with the oud, the leather is clean, not stinky. The end of the fragrance brings the woods to the surface and, in the AdP style, this is another classy gentleman's colonia. 9/10

Opens very animalic. Kind of shocked the senses. The fruit/citrus and floral notes are much more subdued to me. It's very leather forward. Once that animalic opening subsides, the very rich leather accord takes the spotlight. I wouldn't call it soft. Reminds me of the raw unfinished backing of leather than the more finished leather of Tom Ford's two fragrances. I used the word 'primal' in my Tuscan Leather review. It's much more appropriate with Colonia Leather by a long shot. You wear this, you are wearing unabashed leather. You ARE leather.

Beautiful fragrance. For me I got 180ml for $190 AUD (off of a friend of a friend) which is incredible value, however I would still pay up to $400 for the size. This fragrance is a beast, lasts for ages and smells so unique. Strong, dark leather smell with a mix of oud and citruses. I blind bought this and I loved it, so I would say if you like leather and oud fragrances this one will be up your alley. Would recomend picking this up if you can as im pretty sure these are limited release. Smell 9/10 Longevity 8+ hours of projection

Holy SH## this one is surprisingly good! Nice fresh top note, I can get an entire orange tree vibe. Woodyness, green notes, earthiness, citrus, and the zestyness. Like when you get the entire plant out of the soil, and put it in a bottle of perfume from the roots to the very top. Than it comes to the crisp leather scent with the strong cedar. Top class perfumery right there, and it gets me a solid 8 hours anytime with its EDC concentration. Top Note: 9/10 Drydown: 9/10 Performance: 9/10 Presentation: 10/10 Versatiltiy: 7/10

Smooth, expensive, friendly, pleasant, refined leather with a hint of rose. Like the very best leather bags from Hermes. Not a biker dirty funky leather. I'm not really a leather fragrance guy but I could get into this. Nothing sweet. Scent: 8.5 / Sillage: 8 / Longevity: 8 EDIT: My old notes at the beginning of my frag journey...I guess I didn't like leather back then 1st wear: Very leathery. Smoke & Wood. Bit Sharp. 2nd wear: Dry & leathery. Nice but not me? 7-8/10.

Many have compared this is TFs Tuscan Leather. Both are quite different. This is actually wearable in both the heat and cool weather whilst Tuscan Leather is too intense to pull off in any warm climates imho. Plus Tuscan Leather is predominantly berry leather whilst this is more of a gentle leather with circus on the opening and then solely leather by the dry down. I prefer it to Tuscan Leather. Silliage is above average and longevity is about 8 hrs on my skin.

The scent of haute couture, a leatherworker's busy atelier, or a designer boutique riddled with handbags too expensive to even glance at. Superbly smooth and wearable – a delicate, realistic accord that's less jarring than the typical one-spray headache leather fragrance. As a man, I'd fall in love with a woman who smells like this. This is truly exceptional, just exceptional! The only similarities between this and Tuscan Leather are: They are both leather scents,expensive, quality blends and they come in brown bottles. They don't smell the same, not even on the dry down, they are not even the same type of leather. Never think you can substitute the one for the other, they offer different things, really. It makes perfect sense to have both, if you can! I really love this one! AdP baby!

This is a very nice leather. I like it more than TL because it is definitely more wearable. Although I have heard people comment on this being a year round scent I would just stick to fall/winter/ and spring nights. The leather is very dominant as I feel a lot get citrus dominance in the opening. All around a nice buy for me and I will definitely be using this guy for a long time. Projection 4-5 hours Longevity 10+ Scent 8.5 This fragrance I give a 9/10.

This doesn't smell nothing like TF tuscan leather... they are two completely different scents... ADP leather shares more similarities to ADP oud in my opinion. I own all 3 and to be honest I prefer ADP leather over TF tuscan leather its way better definitely a higher quality... with good performance... This is my absolute favourite leather based scent have sampled many if you want quality look no further... Definitely recommend to sample this fragrance.

Last Saturday I sprayed it after shower at 19.00. My son stopped by late and slept in my office where I keep my fragrances. So I got up next morning and could not reach for a new fragrances as usual. At around 14.00 I realized I was still wearing ADP Leather. And it was still active. A bit faint but not even skin scent after 19 hours. I sprayed Shay & Blue Blacks Club Leather on top. Not the sweetest leather I have but for sure the best performer.

This is a gorgeous, authentic leather scent and a damn clever thing apart from one minor annoyance. As someone else has mentioned here, there comes a point when you notice the unmistakable note of ashtray and once you smell it, it won't go away! However, I found that layering a light spritz of Versace's Oud Noir seems to soften that ashtray while adding a little oriental mystique. A very expensive but divinely hedonistic combo!

Fresh, clean, woodsy and oh! so smooth. The initial blast is addicting, you get punched in the nose with a beautifully blended fresh citrus, green petit grain and delicately sweet rose...WOW!...yeah...it is magic, to my nose at least. After a while the leather takes center stage as the sweetness stands down only to knit a wonderful, slightly sweet base of smooth woods and leather. From start to finish, this is a winner. 10/10

one of my top 5 perfumes in my collection ... if you ask me what is the best leather fragrance in market i will tell you directly of course Acqua Di Parma Leather it's a hidden leather note scent , the leather here is not offensive as other fragrances it'e very well blended Rich, warm, Woody, multifaceted , deep but with a rose touch longevity here is great i got easily 9 hours and great projection & sillage for first 3 hours

This is so much better than Tuscan Leather – the Tom Ford is for me a bold leather fragrance – exactly as if you were in a leather shop, I don’t want to smell like a leather shop – this ADP is more sophisticated, more wearable for the skin, a little more sexy also a little more oriental in a positive way, unfortunately discontinued but still very affordable – if you buy yourself a bottle of 180ml. lasts a really long time

Fresh leather. I never thought this combination of citrus, soap and leather could work so well but now I am hooked And its got like a oriental tea vibe. This has become my top leather fragrance. It is not animalic, dirty, smokey or synthetic. It is just... clean. Performance: it could be better, colonia oud is much stronger. Update: To the person below me that said this is Neroli Portofino + Tuscan leather. Nailed it.

Two words: Perfectly Blended ! This perfume does not get enough love in the community. The fresh DNA of ADP perfectly blended with a smooth leather. From the nose that made us master pieces like Dior homme intense and Sauvage, the master perfumer Francois Demachy. It might be most suitable for winter, but IMO you can rock this easily on fall or even summer nights. Scent: 9.5/10 Longevity: 8/10 Sillage: 7.5/10

Absolute banger! I love this stuff and cant understand why I waited so much to get that big fat 180 ml bottle of the best leather on the market! It has some tipical ADP dry citruses in the backgroud, yet some soft fruity playfulness, little chocolatery and a loooot of leather! Different from Tom Ford leathers and suits any time and season. Really adore this perfume, 10/10 for me! :)

On my skin, like a bolder Oud. Citrus veiled in wood smoke, with some leather. Masculine and refined. Smells change over time: a barber shop smell briefly appeared after a couple hours, then woody leather. Sweet floral notes come and go. A cycle of aromas; a mood ring for the olfactory sense. I love this and Tom Ford Tuscan in different ways. This one's for your better behaved days

Combining fresh citrus notes with rich and sensual aromatic leather, Colonia Leather is Italian luxury at it’s finest. It’s masculine yet elegant and particularly stylish. Just take a look at these fragrance notes and tell me that doesn’t sound phenomenal; Sicilian Lemon, Italian Orange, Raspberry, Honeysuckle, Petit Grain, Rose, Leather, Cedarwood, Birchwood, Gaiac Wood, Labdaum.

This is a smooth and refined leather. Comparisons to Tuscan Leather are welcomed but this is an upscale version. Sort of like a tamed beast. Strong sillage but not overwhelming and great performance. The leather here is not as rugged which makes this much more wearable when compared to other great leather scents. This is a home run while Tuscan Leather is an off the wall double.
