Fico di Amalfi La Riserva

I fucking love this fragrance i tried it today and it's simply amazing, this is probably one of the best summer scents a guy or a women can have, it's very unisex and i can say it's a safe buy. If you want to have a safe, sexy, summer vibe fragrance this is it, it opens with a strong citrus then 30 mins later you can feel the fig coming out, it's so realistic that i forgot how fig smelled haha i remembed from this fragrance alone. Amazing. When it comes to this fragrance the cons are significant, very important. It does not last long, for now i tried it 5 hours ago and i can still smell it but it's intimate sillage, I'll edit this review later when it fades, however when i sprayed this the sillage is moderate nothing too special, you'll get best performance for 2-3 hours depending on skin. And the most important part: The price... it's overprized af, it's a good fragrance for summer but i think you'll get better fragrances with better performance and longevity, but i don't blame you for buying this fragrance, it's good but it's not that strong, and it's does not last long... One of the best fragrances for summer but overprized, sillage is not strong and does not last long. So unfortunate... Update: It started to fade but the longevity on my skin is total of 10 hours which is not bad but the scale of sillage is: 2 hours of great performance, 1 hour of good performance, then it starts to fade very slowly as it dries down you'll get a total of 3 hours great/good performance then the other 7 hours will dry down and becomes a skin scent making it in total of 10 hours. Overall: 7/10.

I've always felt slightly dubious about so-called "flanker" fragrances, as many that I have tried seem to bear little resemblance to the original. I was therefore wary in my expectations of Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi La Riserva, especially as the original is a particular summer favourite of mine. Between the original and La Riserva, I find the opening not dissimilar. Both have listed notes of grapefruit and lemon, although for me these notes are not overly prominent. Instead, with both fragrances my nose goes straight to a green, fruity accord, a cross between freshly cut nettles and fig tree. However, whereas with the original that fresh opening lasts for a while, La Riserva quickly becomes richer and creamier. It moves rapidly towards notes of jammy fig, tonka bean, and what I take to be ambrettolide. La Riserva is definitely a more substantial fragrance than the original; it is heavier, projects better, and lasts longer. In some circumstances, that is exactly what I'd want, but at other times the lighter, fresher touch is preferable. La Riserva will work on a hot summer day, but perhaps it is better reserved for warm summer evenings, when it'll truly shine. Acqua Di Parma Fico di Amalfi La Riserva instantly brought me back to summers on the Mediterranean, where my grandmother grew the most beautiful fig trees. As it settles on my skin, tones of tonka bean and musks add warmth and depth, making it feel both comforting and quietly luxurious. What I love most is how balanced it feels. It’s fresh without being sharp, warm without being heavy, and completely unisex. It’s one of those scents that instantly lifts my mood and works just as well for daytime as it does for evening events. The packaging deserves a mention too. I was on the hunt for a nice unisex fragrance that my male partner and I could both enjoy and I think Fico Di Amalfi is it. This reminds me of those clean and alluring unisex fragrances of the 90's. This has fresh and sparkling notes of citrus with slight hints of fig that does not leave you smelling too sweet or too spicy like a seasoning rack. This fragrance is like drinking an Aperol Spritz on the coast of Italy. This Italian fragrance is strong but balanced and fresh. You can definitely notice light scent trail in the most pleasant way but most importantly it does not smack you in the head with nausea like a side of bricks laced with herbal aftershave. It leaves an such an uplifting scent experience of sparkling citrus. This fragrance is powerful but in a sophisticated and restrained way, it does have staying power for an entire day. Aqua Di Parma has such gorgeous packaging, from the ocean blue bottle to the luxurious cylinder box. As a woman, I did enjoy this fragrance very much (it also layers nicely with florals) and partner gives it two thumbs up as well. I received this as a part of an educational promotion.
