Is a complex masterclass Personal score ====== Scent - 9.2/10 Sillage (scent trail) - 8.6/10 Projection - 7.2/10 Longevity - 8.8/10 Compliment factor - 8.9/10 Female approval factor - 8.2/10 Versatility - 7.8/10 Overall rating - 9/10 Review ====== Bought this fragrance recently after going into a high end department store in the UK (twice) to smell the Acqua-di-Parma signature range, Quercia-Eau-de-Parfum was by far the best smelling to me out of the range even more than the popular Oud EDP, its taken me a week to finally commit to purchasing Acqua-di-Parma Quercia given its high price tag for 180ml, but i just couldn't get this fragrance out of my head, i have quite a large collection now, not as big as some but bigger than most, I found this fragrance to be a revelation in the opening which is far superior to many expensive fragrances i have smelled, Quercia has a dynamic and complex dry down owed to the fact that this uses a lot of natural ingredients and you can absolutely smell the difference, the longevity of Quercia EDP is fantastic lasts all day on me and is a skin scent 24+ hours after, the projection is also excellent giving me 2+ hours of a 4-6 feet bubble to 1 feet after the 3-4 hour period. This fragrance just screams class and sophistication with a modern twist, you can wear this fragrance dressed up or dressed down its not limited in that regard, when wearing this fragrance you will not smell like everyone else it may share similarities with some fragrances but you can just smell a lot of naturals in this from beginning to end, Quercia EDP is like going from smelling in standard definition to high definition is the best way i can describe it, you pick up on more nuances in the fragrance from start to finish, people who understand quality will recognise this fragrance as being such and compliment accordingly, i would say this is a safe fragrance for 28+ age group. This fragrance should be on your radar when next you go shopping, i know its a little pricey but its a fantastic offering from Acqua-di-Parma in my opinion one of their best in the Signature line and one of the best i have smelled in a long time and I'm now a happy owner. Scent break down ====== Naturally Fresh Opening, Slightly Spicy/Woody Heart Notes, with a Earthy/Sweet/Mossy dry down.

I bought this at duty-free (about half of my collection is from there at this point) about three months ago as a gift for someone else, but upon smelling it a second time and realizing the person I was going to give this to probably wouldn't appreciate this vibe, I thought, screw it, I'm keeping this myself. And so began my first experience owning an Acqua di Parma cologne. My impressions? A luxurious office-safe fragrance. Almost reminds me of one of the Dior Homme fragrances, ever-so-slightly, as it evokes a similar vibe, but Quercia is darker and richer. There's something intriguing about the drydown. It's indulgent. You can tell the elements used to concoct this are of superb quality. I will say though that despite being marketed as unisex, to my nose the scent profile is almost exclusively masculine. However, if you feel confident that you can pull it off, regardless of gender, then you probably will. Honestly, if I were a hotshot CEO, I'd wear this every day. Right now, as a college student, I'm saving it for important deadlines like final reviews/presentations or internship interviews, especially those around this time of year (mid-to-late autumn). I find that the scent can be on the mature side, but if you're young but a more serious type person, or are just professionally active or highly involved in your industry, then consider making this your scent. This was my first Acqua di Parma fragrance (though I have tried the shampoo and conditioners at hotels: they're a MUST BUY), and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Given the niche prices, I came to expect this quality of a scent, but this definitely has a certain edge, a nice universally-safe feel to it, a quality that perhaps other niche fragrances don't possess. In my opinion, everything The One by Dolce and Gabbana should've been (I might be too soon to speak since I haven't tested any of its flankers). If you need something that's pleasant to every nose, opt for this. SCORE: 91%

Acqua di Parma Quercia has been my favourite fragrance for approximately a year, and my appreciation for it has only grown with time. I first encountered it in a fragrance boutique and was immediately captivated from the opening spray. A few weeks later, I purchased the 180 ml bottle, and it has remained the fragrance I reach for most consistently. From a collection of around 22 bottles, Quercia is the one I genuinely miss whenever I have not worn it for a few days. Its opening is exceptionally vibrant, with lime, lemon and bergamot creating a sharp, polished citrus brightness. Almost immediately, the pink pepper becomes the central feature of the composition, delivering an energetic, sparkling spiciness that remains prominent throughout much of the wear. The citrus and pepper are balanced beautifully by the dark, earthy character of oakmoss. This contrast gives Quercia both freshness and depth, preventing it from feeling like a conventional citrus fragrance. It is refined, dry and slightly shadowy, with a distinctly elegant quality. Despite its woody and forest-inspired identity, I do not detect a strong cedar note. On my skin, the woods remain subtle, appearing more as a structural element in the heart and base rather than as an identifiable note. The oakmoss and pink pepper are far more noticeable. Quercia is ultimately a sophisticated citrus-aromatic fragrance with a rich mossy foundation and an outstanding pink-pepper presence. It is fresh without being light, dark without being heavy, and distinctive without becoming difficult to wear. For me, it is an addictive pink-pepper bomb and one of the most compelling fragrances in Acqua di Parma’s collection.

Why does this fragrance smell so addictive? I can't get enough whiffs of it. Bought a 10ml travel spray to test it out since I love fougeres. Its a modern take on a barbershop fougere. I say modern because it wants to go full shaving cream foam but stops itself right before it does. Similar to how Percival does it. I tell myself over and over "Its a fougere, been that done that, dont need a bottle" Then a minute later is Im telling myself "Damn this smells so addictive I think I need a full bottle" As Im wearing this it reminds me of the bare bone base of Percival. Except Percival is way more Aromatic. Im talking about the very base below the Percival Aromatics. I think thats why I love this frag. The opening is very nice. Its like a beautiful light green super light herbaceous soft green but yet sweet and citrus type of fragrance that also has some orange citrus facets thats spiced up just a bit by the pepper. Lasts about a good 30 minutes. The mid and base notes fuse together after that into this creamy but also bright patchouli moss base thats sweetened by the tonka and cardamom. I think the cedar and geranium is what gives the dry down this bright fougere vibe. Its very bright and strong, in a beautiful inviting way. This stuff is signature scent worthy. I dont detect any cheap synthetic ingridients. I smell high quality ingridients, very natural smelling. I feel like this is what Acqua di Gio Profondo should've been or this is the direction AdG should've went. This is a 10 out of 10. Safe blind buy for any man, really.

"Quercia takes you on a walk through a forest of oak trees where the mysterious green scent in the air inspires a fresh and earthy sensation". Well, I am rather taken on a walk through an airport circa 1993 either near the duty free or alongside business men aged 40-55 (at the time). This is maybe unfair, because Acqua di Parma has tried to modernise an otherwise well tried style. But to me, there is simply too much Cool Water and Wunderbaum car perfume, connotations that were way too common for me to fall in love with this. To begin with, I become very curious as I take in the first impressions, because I used to love the good ones of this category. But the drydown is a dissapointment. Where in my memory the good ones must have had sandalwood or something to support the moss (oakmoss needs to grow on something solid after all), what I get here is a recurring synthetic baseline – ambroxan I suppose. It is exactly what finally made me sell my Dior Sauvage Eau de Parfum, and that connotation is vividly present here as well. If you are younger, >45 and lack the airport experience of yore, I suggest you give it a try if you have the money, because many will love this. The oakmoss dupe is quite nicely executed, but the supporting acts takes too much of my own attention, alas.

Been comparing Quercia vs Oud vs Sandalo. They're all very very nice for brisk fall and winter weather. Quercia is the freshest and the most citrusy of the bunch. Not as creamy, woody, or dark as the others, but has those elements as well. Citrus opening drying down to a dry, warm, woody backbone with a hint of leather and sweetness. Very nice. Not as creamy and sweet as Sandalo. Not as oudy and woody as Oud. Has shades of both, but entirely different and maybe my favorite. Weaker and less sillage than those as well tho. Scent: 8.5 / Sillage: 7.5 / Longevity: 7.5 (3/4/2022) UPDATE (11/29/2023) Revisiting and comparing to Oud and Leather. Leather is a smooth luxury black leather, dry and stark. Oud is a smooth clean oud that dries down to a slight bit of funk. Both have a lot of similarities. Quercia is an outlier as I remembered...brighter, more citrus, more traditional lavender and oakmoss vibes. Only the slightest hints of the Oud and Leather vibes. While it's the easiest to wear...it might be the least unique and special. I'm a bit torn bc I'd like to get some more of this, but I have many others that fit this mandate. Oud might be the best one to double up on since I don't have many Ouds and dark woody frags. Scent: 8 / Sillage: 7.5 / Longevity

This is one of those that the main accords breakdown actually gets really accurate. Everything everyone else is saying is accurate for this too. This is not a strong cedar, patchouli fragrance FYI. It is slight citrus spicy aromatic and for sure reminds me of a better version of a body spray I wore when I was 16-20. I was not into fragrances at that time and admittedly did not have the best concept of personal hygiene. I was clean, but these days I take pimp showers, exfoliating and cleansing my whole body, then lotion and fragrance. Even though I was a scrub back in the day, I wore stuff that smelled like this and got mad ass fr. Don't dog the body spray. However, those body sprays don't last but a couple hours and this is a great 5-7 hour fragrance. Explosive at first, but tones down to a nice scent bubble of 3 ft. I have a bunch by Acqua di Parma and this is probably top 5 for sure. This is definitely a man's scent 30 and up. I really think they would have a difficult time cloning this.

I've worn ADP fragrances for years and have owned most of them, and tested all of them. Most people sleep on this one, but it's low key pretty good. You must like tart (pink pepper, lemon, bergamot) fragrances to enjoy this. This is a modern ADP and not the classic variety, which are even better and are being discontinued 🫤. It's got some base ambrox but it's not dosed into the stratosphere. Oakmoss (evernyl), Geranium (very slight mint) and petigrain give it an another reserved green layer, and a little patch give it some depth, but still suitable for the heat. My only beef is the tonka sweetness in base. I could do without it. It's a cousin to the extremely expensive Mousse De Chen and easier for most people to wear. Sometimes I'll combine it with oakmoss absolute and it's even better.

Sometimes opinions change over time, and that has certainly happened with Quercia. My previous review was based on a decant that could have been reformulated since. At any rate: What I found a bit annoying and synthetic a year or two ago has changed to the extent that I bought a full bottle and I am very happy about it. Quercia is a modern fougère in EDP concentration that strikes a balance between oakmoss and coumarin that I absolutely love. While my decant from a few years ago had a somewhat plasticky connotation that got too much over a few hours wear, it is not present in my current bottle. Very “safe” choice for most people I would believe. Year around, all occasions. Not a “Come hither” choice for the club scene, though. Excellent performance.

OK I agree with everything that StreetEvident says in their recent review below, so will not duplicate. However will add that (as an AdP fan), Quercia is the most situationally variable of their scents that I’ve come across. I was first introduced to Quercia at an airport and was really intrigued. However the next few times of airport samples, I was less convinced. Finally I took the plunge to order my own bottle and it’s great, wonderfully mossy yet fresh. Why the variance? A few thoughts: - maybe freshness of the bottle? - maybe AdP continues to adjust the blend? - maybe this scent works rather better on cooler skin than warmer? In any case, very happy now I have my own 100ml and will see how it goes!

"Oak." A heaping dose of oakmoss popping with pink pepper, cardamom, and fresh citruses. Rich mossy and woody scent speckled with fresh aromatics, warm spices, and lightly sweetened. Dries down to spiced wood. Moderately strong projection for 3-4hr lingers as a modest scent bubble for 5-6hr, longevity 12hr+. A classically masculine spicy woody scent. Dunno why it's called Oak when it's mostly moss and the only wood note advertised is cedar, but nonetheless it smells pretty great. An EDP with performance that blows most of this house's fragrances out of the water.

Reminds me of a fresh night spent in the forest, with oakmoss undertone and casual sweet whiffs of fresh herbs. I find it very pleasant, alluring and quite inoffensive. The quality is top notch you can tell immediately that is packed with natural ingredient. It sits in the same category of Lalique Equus for me. These kind of fragrances that you put on and you are immediately taken back in time, when you were in the nature... Is not a blind buy safe kind of fragrance though especially full retail. With a nice offer at discounters might be blind-buy worthy

This opens up with excellent tangy and tart citruses which ADP does really well, but the drydown is the best part if you love oakmoss, albeit, synthetic. This has a nice hit of oakmoss along with tonka sweetened creamy woods. Reminds me of 19-69 L'air Barbes oakmoss but Quercia is longer lasting. Perfect with a white dress shirt siping a gin and tonic or a mojito in the sun. Scent 9/10 Performance 7/10

Fragrance that opens supreme on imposing green, aromatic notes, lively fresh spicy notes, imbued with inebriating citrus scents of rare purity. The olfactory evolution brings out the freshness of Petitgrain and cardamom on the citrus triumph, framed by the faint and reassuring musky fragrance and the mystical sensuality of patchouli and Tonka bean. Fragrance with surprising olfactory evolution.

This is my all time new favorite fragrance. This is perfect. Something a sexy well dressed man would walk around in italy with. It's insanely attractive scent. I showered 6 hours ago, and still smell it well on my arm, performance is ridicilous. JUST BUY IT. 10/10. Simple great scent. It feels the same as when you hear a new song you feel like you've heard before because it's just so good.

This is my fave ADP and my go to scent for a night out. It’s masculine and sexy and very distinctive. For me it’s all about the cedar, it’s been executed perfectly. There’s also a background sweetness. I can’t compare it to anything I’ve smelled. I have a 100ml and 180ml I hope they never discontinue it! Performance is strong.

Quercia was the surprise scent from batch of samples I got. Woody fragrances rarely wow me, Quercia is one of those. It smells well blended, expensive and ever so slightly medicinal, yet very sensual. Too bad it seems to be discontinued, I have only a miniature which I'll have to wear very sparingly.

This is so good. Opens up as a very classic men's scent, aromatic, woody, with a cola note.Quite strong but very pleasant. The dry down is a distantly smoky, mossy, woody, like there was an charred oak log near by but the fire was put out a good while ago. Lasting power is 12hrs+ on me.

My wife has the black bottle. A candied, spicy opening drying to wood and tonka. Decent performance. Autumnal? To me this is a very good, classy, sexy fragrance well worth owning, suitable for special occasions. Very few others will be wearing it I suspect. 4/5

This is one of the smoothest mens frgrances, long lasting and the dry down is like creamy with the Tonka, cedar and Pink pepper perfectly blended. Lasting over 6 hours and on my clothes even the next day.

This is an absolute delight on my skin! I mostly get the flowery and borderline vanillic tonka notes in the dry down with a mossy backdrop. Putting this on the list for next autumn!

Sweet and masculine. Very nice, decently radiant. Evening out type of fragrance with close friends or family. Good for office as well.

I think this perfume starts out quite masc, but after time it settles into a nice unisex woody, mossy, mysterious scent.

Today, my Acqua di Parma journey continues with another offering from the "Signatures of the Sun" collection: Quercia. As its Italian name translates to "Oak," I'm stepping into this experience anticipating a robust, unequivocally masculine woody fragrance. While yesterday's review for Yuzu left me wanting more due to its surprising feminine lean and delicate performance, I imagine Quercia will be its bold and assertive opposite. Let's delve in and see if my assumptions hold. Opening: The opening is citrusy, spicy, and aromatic. The primary notes that announce themselves are lemon, Calabrian bergamot, cardamom, and pink pepper. Cardamom and Calabrian bergamot are the immediate stars. The cardamom is what my senses first register, with a powerful blast of warm spiciness, elegantly accompanied by an underlying aromatic quality. This isn't the tempered, designer-friendly cardamom found in fragrances like D&G The One; this is a far more assertive, confident expression of the note, with a heavy emphasis on its spicy and warm facets. Trailing behind this is the Calabrian bergamot, which provides a healthy dose of luminous citrus, infused with the characteristic aromatic and fresh spiciness for which bergamot is known. Next, the lemon and pink pepper join the chorus. The lemon builds upon the bergamot's citrus foundation, adding a brighter, more tart accord than the bergamot could supply alone. Lastly, the pink pepper contributes an additional layer of fresh spiciness in the background, a subtle, tantalizing prickle that comes close to tickling the nose, but never quite does. Dry Down: The dry down is spicy, warm, and sweet. The primary notes I now discern are cardamom, tonka bean, moss, and cedar. Cardamom and tonka bean become the most prominent players. The cardamom remains a highlighted note, carrying the same warm, spicy, and aromatic accord from the opening. However, it is now met with equal force by the tonka bean, which unfurls a blanket of sweet warmth, effectively tempering the cardamom's tenacious nature. This harmonious duo is then complemented by the subtle contributions of moss and cedar. The moss manifests as a nuanced, earthy woodiness, adding a layer of depth to the predominantly spicy and sweet accords. Lastly, the cedar provides an additional woody texture, with just a delicate touch of that "pencil-shaving" accord that is so characteristic of the note. Performance: The initial projection is strong, reaching a distance of around six feet. Sillage mirrors this strength, leaving an easily noticeable scent trail. After approximately three to four hours, this robust projection held steady at about four to six feet, and the scent trail remained distinctly perceptible. At the seven to eight-hour mark, the projection had settled to about arm's length, and while the scent trail was fainter, it was still present. The fragrance eventually receded into a skin scent around the nine to ten-hour mark, demonstrating a respectable longevity. It is worth noting that this does seem to be a fragrance that one could go nose-blind to, as evidenced by the fact that I felt like it wasn't performing at all after a few hours, but my wife confirmed that it indeed was. When to Wear: Quercia is an archetypal fall/winter fragrance, versatile enough to be worn in both the daytime and evening. The scent profile of Quercia is remarkably adaptable, and I could envision it working effortlessly for casual outings, formal events, or special occasions. The only environment where I feel it wouldn't quite fit is an office setting, simply because its projection and character are a bit too assertive. Blind Buy: I find myself without a direct comparison in my collection that could adequately capture this fragrance's essence. However, if you are drawn to sweet and spicy scent profiles with a confident, assertive nature, Quercia would be well worth your consideration. Final Verdict: Quercia turned out to be a rather confusing experience, for a couple of distinct reasons. The first: its name literally translates to "Oak," yet there is no discernible, dedicated oak note. While oakmoss is present, it never truly takes the spotlight, manifesting more as an earthy undertone rather than a primary woody accord. The second reason: the fragrance itself never struck me as particularly woody. From the opening and extending well into the dry down, it was a profound expression of warm spiciness, with cardamom serving as the undeniable highlight. In the dry down, it inherited a beautiful sweetness from the tonka bean and a mere touch of woodiness from the oakmoss and cedar, yet the overall impression remained predominantly spicy and warm. Moving on to performance, Quercia was entirely on par with what I experienced from Oud & Spice. It delivered a strong projection and a noticeable scent trail for at least the first few hours, and its tenacity continued until around the nine-hour mark, where it gracefully settled into a skin scent. In terms of usability, Quercia proved to be far more versatile than I had initially assumed. While it is undoubtedly a fragrance for cooler weather, it is adaptable enough for virtually any occasion outside of an office environment. Quercia isn't what I would call a mass-appealing fragrance destined to solicit an enormous amount of compliments, but I also don't believe anyone would perceive it as "bad" or challenging either. To conclude, Quercia is my favorite Acqua Di Parma I have reviewed thus far, yet it still didn't quite wow me enough to warrant the purchase of a full bottle. I have plenty more ADP fragrances to explore, so here's hoping at least one of them leaves an indelible impression on me. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 7/10 Sillage: 8/10 Gender: Male Value: Overpriced

Quercia is an aromatic woody scent with citrus and spices throughout. It is also an oakmoss-dominant scent, a rarity among modern mass-market perfumes. It is an underrated gem in my opinion, a masculine scent that despite being safe and familiar, is set apart by its quality. Quercia opens with a tart, even slightly sharp citrus accord led by acidic lemon. Soft spicy notes follow quickly, adding a nice counterpoint. Petitgrain adds fresh green woodiness, bringing things to aromatic territory and paving the way to the rich woody-mossy base. Peppery geranium adds to the herbal greenness. The oakmoss is clean rather than earthy, reminiscent of fancy hotel soap bars. Sometimes mossy chypres remind me in part of soap like so, but rarely so overtly. The woodiness of the base too is cleaner and more refined than scents of a similar profile. Restrained patchouli adds some earthiness, and The tonka bean keeps things very smooth and refined. It is very aromatic here, somewhat Sauvage-like, but much less synthetic. It fades to a woody, slightly musky skin scent. Sillage and longevity are moderate. It is a transeasonal everyday scent. Quercia is masculine-leaning in my opinion, reminiscent of popular designer scents, but better quality and more natural-smelling, despite its cleanness. Very nicely composed and pleasant throughout, I would enjoy this on a man. 4/5.

A LOT OF CHARACTER! ___________________________________________________________ I completely disagree with 'Aguirre' - this fragrance is a lot of things, but "dull, unremarkable, and has no character" it is definitely not! Today I got the opportunity to try some of the new Acqua di Parma-Fragrances. At the counter 'Osmantus' and 'Vaniglia' were the ones, which stood out for me, but the sales person insisted that 'Quercia' was the most outstanding of them all. So I tried it. It starts with a powerful note of cardamon, which turns into oak and bergamot. However the real face of this fragrance is being revealed later on - the Cedar, Patchouli and pepper take over and form a very well blended and captivating fragrance - quite unique and mesmerizing. Like a magnet it pulls you into it's sphere and doesn't let go. Longevity: - 8/10 Sillage: - 8/10 All in all: 10 subjective points -> because it is a unique cedar fragrance (in my opinion). It is stronger than you might expect.

This is one of the less interesting offerings of Acqua di Parma to me. Don't get me wrong, it's a really nice and classic, high-quality men's cologne. Mossy, woody, peppery with Acqua di Parma's signature lemon base. I feel this would be a risk-free likable gift for a gentleman aged min 30 to 40 and above. Perfect everyday scent for office or daytime weekend outings. I want to believe any scent can be unisex, but the only way to pull this one off as a woman to me would be if you're rocking a bit of a gender-bender formal to semi-formal style imo. But I can't see it fitting, say, with a summer dress, people will just think some of your significant other's fragrance transferred to you when you hugged him. To me this is a bit of a dad's birthday gift or fathers' day gift kind of scent, but a really nice high-quality one.

OK... so I’ll admit I was wrong: smelling this black bottle Quercia for the first time after the brown bottle I was extremely disappointed because it lacked the complexity, subtlety, and depth - especially that ‘sitting next to someone who is drinking hot chocolate in a café on a winters day’ accord - BUT this black bottle version does have a ‘cleaner’ and ‘more focused’ smell that doesn’t suffer from the brown bottle’s slightly musty tail-end of fragrance. HOWEVER, I agree with sentiment in reviews below: whilst cleaner and more focused, black bottle Quercia doesn’t smell like a high-end fragrance deserving of its 260€ price tag. TL;DR: it’s nice, but not worth the price.

Quercia by Acqua di Parma: I like it, its not mind-blowing but it's nice. It's suitable for all seasons, and I'm pretty certain any age could pull it off. It's long-lasting as far as AdPs go and the sillage is ok but not great. It reminds me subtly of Dior Homme Intense in the beginning but dries down to something like a grown-up Eros due to the cedar, geranium and tonka but without the sweet vanilla. Top notes: Petitgrain, pink pepper, lemon Middle notes: Cedar, geranium, tonka, some cardamom Base notes: Moss, cedar, tonka, patchouli 3.5/5

This fragrance is different when wet and dry. It smells very pleasant, a vanilla and moss once you spray it, but after 30 minutes, it smells more of patchouly and cedar to me. It’s very warm and spicy, perfect for colder days. The longevity is alright, around 5 hours. The sillage is moderate at first, but more intimate as it dries. The scent is more masculine, but it is still nice to wear as a unisex fragrance. It is though in my opinion overpriced. 6.5/10. I like it, but there are better ones in this collection.

I have since retried this remake of AdP Quercia (Ingredient Collection) and to be honest, for me and on my skin, it’s lost all the charm of the original. Black-Bottle Quercia is definitely more unisex and ‘cleaner’ but to my nose it smells more artificial and has lost both the complexity and that ‘dark mossy’ masculinity of the original Quercia... shame, really. I fear the Ingredient Collection has also been discontinued as it has disappeared from the AdP website.

I bought this as part of a sampling set, whilst the fragrance is described as unisex I would say it’s very masculine to me. I can just about pull it off as a woman but it definitely smells like a very expensive men’s scent. The ADP description describes walking in a forest but I honestly get “well groomed, handsome stranger who walks by leaving an intoxicating scent behind that you can’t stop thinking about for days after”.

I retested this and now suspect either the tester bottle I used last time had gone south or they've reformulated this. Last time it smelled like a dirty old incel. But now, it wasn't nearly as bad. In fact it's not bad at all. I get a fresh green opening and a lovely patchouli drydown. Darn, I need to re-retest this.

Warning, this is the best oakmoss scent on the market! The scent is really well done. Although not listed in the notes, I smell some leather. The oak moss is tame, that's what makes it so special! This fragrance is unisex. A little masterpiece! Acqua di Parma makes very natural, high quality fragrances!

This is a polarizing scent. My friend loves it but I find it kinda boring. It's mostly oakmoss (quercia = oak) and some warm spices after the classic aromatic citrus opening that acqua di parma does well. This is probably the only acqua di parma scent that let me down.

A completely unisex fragrance. It's a very pleasant scent that everyone will like. No one can say they don't like this. Quercia is really well done. I think this could even be a hidden gem. I highly recommend anyone to try this fragrance. I give it a solid 8/10.

I had high hopes for this one. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice fragrance, and you can smell the quality of this juice. However, there is something about the lemon note in this composition that is stopping me from pulling the trigger on a full bottle.

First thirty minutes of this fragrance are heaven - smells like warm hot tea with lemon <3 Then comes the dry-down :( I don't care for its smell at all. But the head is so stunning I may buy it just for that - will reapply every thirty minutes lol.

I tried on a tester and I loved it. This is a great fragrance for the office. It is not common and it's not offensive at all. It's an amazing all-rounder.

Fresh out the shower, white shirt, good shoes, this stuff is magic

I bought a sample pack of the whole 'Signatures of the Sun' line and I'm slowly making my way through it. I already purchased a full bottle of the Oud, which is by far my favourite. The leather seems quite popular too. Generally speaking, AdP fragrances are very natural smelling. This seems like the youngest offering, which they may have achieved by adding a few more synthetics (ambroxan?). It still feels very refined, quite bold and sharp with a few rough edges, which is generally a profile that appeals to me but the scent still feels like it's missing something. I think this would work very well for casual daywear or to the office but for the price you can definitely do better. Longevity on my skin is very good, I got 8 hours from it.

Mid-range, borderline quality here. Not bad, but doesn't do it for me. Lacking that certain je ne sai qua. Typical citrics mixed with something I don't like, which is pepper. Black pepper. That's why I don't like it. I'm biased against that particular black pepper spiciness.. Otherwise, objectively alright.

The opening to this is so good. Dry down not so much. It actually repulsed me which is surprising considering how much I love the opening. Will update after more wearings if necessary.

I like it, very high quality juice, but the cardamom sweetness puts this in the winter/fall/nighttime category for me.

Doesn’t have that wow factor most of the others have

Quercia has nothing that reminds me of an oak tree and resulted in a strong dislike. Opening has an offensive plastic type of smell which does become milder to a point but still hangs around for the life of the scent. Better description would be a mixture of plastic and spices. Moderate performance and pricey for what it is. Hard pass.

The initial sniff piqued my curiosity, but the dry-down is unconvincing. This is a shame because I like all the ingredients, but I am not crazy about how they work together. Unfortunately this one will be relegated to my growing "pass" collection.
