Hirvu Free Island

This is a wonderful piece that I plan to buy. The head of the perfume vibrates you immediately and the carrot seeds caress you. I would never say that they can give such an aroma. Happiness, joy, I am in the middle of a meadow in the spring and violets smell here. The wind blows coriander towards me and gentle drops of rain fall on me. But the meadow also turns into a summer meadow, where it warms up, the perfume softens and vanilla begins to embrace me. Not sweet, but soft and loving. Believe me, this is worth a try! And? is really versatile!

First fragrance from this house I've ever tried and I'm very impressed. Its smell is intoxicating, really pleasent and easy to love without being generic or similar to any other top selling fragrance. Is marketed as a sport unisex fragrance. I don't know about that. Is kinda sweet and spicy. I would choose to wear it more in the evening. Perfect for a summer night out. Performances seems to be great. But I need to try it more to be sure.

Smells like a sophisticated married man in his 50’s, collector of vintage cars, rich, calm, living his life nearby the ocean, in a stone mansion. Powder, calone, citrus and vanilla.

Firstly the packaging is really nicely done, not OTT but discreet and very well made. I've worn this scent a few times now and there must be a balance as to how much to put on - too light and it's powdery, too much and it goes a bit 'wet rubber' (thinking that's the mix of carrot seed and cardamom). I'm not getting bergamot at the start, that's well hidden. 30 mins to an hour later it seems to go a bit sour ... bit like salty coriander, but there is an underlying sweetness which lingers on to the following morning on my skin. It's a warm and friendly scent, nothing offensive (unless you overdo it) with a hint of marine in the mid range. I really don't like vanilla in fragrances although it's well balanced out here. For some reason my wife doesn't like it but she can't decide why .......... I'll keep trying it.

We are on Sardegna. On our 2e day on the island my wife and I visited one of their shops. They have about 40 fragrances. Their exclusives are missing on Fragrantica. I bought Desvelos man & Hirvu Free Island. My wife bought Desvelos Ammajante Dona. The lady gave us 5 samples of the exclusive line of which my wife like Suerzu a lot. I also liked Nois, a Summer freshy. A few days later we were on La Maddalena and came across a lady fashion shop which had 5 test sprays on the outside. We tested another 3 fragrances on 2 occasions. I tested Nois again and now I am convinced it is very similar to Aqua di Parma Colonia Assoluta, which I had and loved, but can not buy it again because it's discontinued. My wife liked another 2 of their aqua line but can not choose which she prefers. We decided to try them on the Airport of Cagliari next Monday. If they have them I am tempted to buy Nois. I will review them individual in their page but only after frequent use. For now Desveslos is too heavy for the heat but I do like Hirvu which is very sophisticated but fairly quite/ intimate. Both are rather unique scents. And a good thing is, so far they are not populair enough to be cloned.
