Osmanthus Fragrans

The note profile here is different from the notes listed on Neiman Marcus's site and Parfumo. Here's what they have listed for notes - Top: Osmanthus, Peach Blossom. Heart: Peppermint, White Tea, Osmanthus. Base: White Musk, Cedarwood. I think I agree with the description from Neiman Marcus and Parfumo. I am not getting some of the notes Fragrantica has listed here. I thought that Fragrantica might have gotten the notes mixed up with this brands other Osmanthus fragrance but it doesn’t seem that way since I checked the note profile for that on this site and it is also different from the notes listed here. Nor are they the notes for this fragrance. I certainly don’t get any pomegranate. Nor do I smell Camelia, or Rose, which is listed for this fragrance on this review page. This is a pretty fragrance that starts out with a burst of white tea, peach blossom, and osmanthus. I don’t know why the tea is listed in the heart of the fragrance because I’m getting it right off the top. As the fragrance progresses I start picking up a little mint, but not enough to make it a minty fragrance. It is more just keeping the composition fresh and a little green. The Osmanthus becomes a much stronger floral and slightly sweet with strong overtones of a very ripe peach/apricot, with the tea still apparent. The fragrance starts getting powdery about midway through the heart as the musk shows up. The musk remains in the base becoming stronger as it is joined by a light cedar, while the Osmanthus, though light, is still clear to the end. The tea is gone at this point. Overall, this is a very light scent, though not necessarily refreshing since the composition seems a little heavy to me, or rich is the more appropriate word, and is lacking in citrus notes. Silage is moderate, as is longevity. If I were to arrange the notes the way I smell them it would be - Top – Peach blossom, white tea, osmanthus Heart – Peppermint, osmanthus, white tea, musk Base – musk, cedarwood, osmanthus

quite a pleasant mix of Pomegranate, Camella, and Turkish-Bulgarian rose from the top till the dry down. calming, and charming in one piece. i can sense the powdery Osmanthus note as well in the background with a bit of musk and definitely no jasmine, amber, and noHyacinth in here. a very nice blend, soft, powdery, and light.
