Madre

OK, first and foremost the idea that the perfume is is trying to achieve it is in fact achieved such as that when you smelled the perfume at the first time it smells like a very damp, humid and kind of isolated patch in the wood that would be kind of rotting, but it's not explicitly as to being in decay. It's just that it's very earthy. That being said though strange part is that this is more of a piece of art or a statement instead of just a perfume so as time goes on, you feel like there is no appropriate situation to use this, but it makes you want to use it in more specific time environments for that. There is always going to be a chance to stand out even if it is just that you are wearing something that smells like nothing else. Now, if you go ahead and analyze, this perfume, you will find that most of the notes are going to be cucumber some earth or Petcor but mostly very fresh cucumber. Now when it's trying out is that you will find out this earthy inspiration that they were aiming for. So as a final piece of thought. If you want something unique that is more of a statement instead of a perfume. This is a great example of something that you will never find unless it's something very niche on the other hand. The price is way too high and it's unlikely that you will use this every day so pick your poison I would say.

Putting this on is like walking into a greenhouse at a gardening center. It's intensely wet and green in the opening, photorealistic. The crisp blood of flowering plants, standing water, petrichor, and fresh potting soil. After the drydown the stage broadens a bit beyond the green, but the slight aromatic edge of fir and wooden warmth is nearly entirely absent on my skin.

A scent that smells like a forest, but with a balsamic/medicinal vibe in the opening; at the same time, it also feels like smelling potted plants. In the drydown, it becomes drier and woodier, thanks to the bark note. It's not exactly my cup of tea, but for lovers of evergreen forests, this could be an interesting fragrance.

I love the story of Madre. This fragrance is a story told of mother nature's welcoming connection and innate bond we are tied to. Madre seems to be a favorite of this line. For me, it is very green almost reminiscent of a plant here in the south we have called gum ball or sweet gum. This one is actually very nostalgic to me specifically due to this plant. I used to look for these when I myself would go on walks in nature. The green medicinal property of these plants have many beneficial qualities. The scent of Madre takes me back to these walks and memories of searching for gumballs while they are still green, spikey, and ripe.

I was presented with this brand in Esha perfume store. What a beauty is this. Starts with most authentic green note that is so refreshing, grounding and relaxing, then it transitions to gorgeous blend of gourmand vetiver, sandalwood with touch if benzoin that is irresistible. You could never say it is linear creation but transform it self through out the time in a very beautiful way.
