NUMERO TRE III

This fragrance is one of those discoveries that makes you fall in love with the whole hobby all over again. NUMERO TRE III is not just rare — it is truly precious. Extremely difficult to find and almost hidden from the wider public, which only adds to its value. When I finally added it to my collection, it quickly became clear that I was holding something special. I don’t say this lightly: this is one of the best perfumes I have ever owned. The opening is powerful yet perfectly balanced elegant, rich, and immediately conveying a sense of luxury and serious artistic vision. There are no cheap tricks here, no attempt to please everyone. Everything feels deliberate, deep and authorial. As it develops on the skin, the fragrance becomes increasingly refined and complex, with a texture reminiscent of the finest examples of classical perfumery, yet presented with modern clarity and cleanliness. On my skin, NUMERO TRE III performs exceptionally: the projection is noticeable yet sophisticated, never aggressive; longevity is outstanding — from morning until late evening, leaving behind a persistent and recognizable aura that never fades. This is a fragrance that does not go unnoticed, yet it never demands attention — it simply exists, confident in itself. Emotionally, this scent gives me a sense of calm confidence and quiet strength. Wearing it feels like being completely in tune with myself. In my collection of 30 niche fragrances, NUMERO TRE III has already distinguished itself as one of those I reach for sparingly — not because I love it any less, but because each wear deserves to be a special moment. It opens up as a close sibling of Lattafa Maahir Black. It's deeper, more rounded and less powerful (in tone) than the Lattafa, but their core identities are 95%+ similar here. Maahir Black has a particular smoke/fruit accord that's almost reminiscent of the massively famous pineapple-birch from Aventus, albeit with the smoke turned up significantly. Número III on the other hand starts similarly, but with less sweetness and no fruitiness. The leather, incense and cardamom are the stars here. There's a phantom vanilla to my nose that's reminiscent of the vanilla used in Layton Exclusif, or even a mild YSL Babycat if it were using cardamom instead of black pepper for spice. That could just be my nose playing a trick on me because of how warm the cardamom is. This a deep, masculine incense-amber that is bold while remaining understated. I suspect a lot of different people will smell a lot of different things in this, similar to releases from a company like Jeroboam. If you have smelled Maahir Black and liked it but wished it was less abrasive, less sweet and more smoky + leathery (as I did), I suspect you'll love this one. Note that this fragrance changes A LOT during a wearing, as do Número I and II. I didn't love any of them at first spray, but they've become genuinely fantastic as they move away ftom their respective openings. It will take some time for the wearer to fully experience and understand these fragrances, and I think Adamo is off to a very good start in the industry with this trio of very interesting and memorable releases. Their perfumer is clearly quite talented, and I'll be interested to see what they come up with in the near future.

A very vivid picture and a clear demonstration of how perfumers like to play—and how they can take a single theme, interpret it in their own way, and elevate it to a climax. Black Afgano is a rebellious, revolted punk drop-out who, of course, smells fantastic and innovative (especially considering it was created back in 2009). Then we have Calvin Klein, who—almost unbelievably—launched a designer vision of Black Afgano in the form of Obsessed for Men Intense (2018). This fragrance spent a very short time on store shelves and was withdrawn extremely quickly for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, other Obsessed versions can still be found even in regular drugstores such as Bipa and DM. And then we arrive at the latest discovery: Adamo III. Unlike the punk, rebellious Black Afgano, this one is more polished, smoother, more refined. It wears a sharp black suit—or a beautiful leather jacket that costs $1,800. This is a very direct response from Mr. Christian Provenzano, who skillfully and visionarily infused his own spirit into the creation of this smooth composition. This is essentially a beautifully refined, polished, and luxurious interpretation of Black Afgano. While Black Afgano is more for alternative souls and modern hippies, this one is a luxury piece—denser, softer, slightly sweeter, creamier, yet still black. Deeply black. Richly black.

This masterpiece transcends the ordinary, orchestrating a symphony of scents that elegantly dance in harmony on the skin. Its sophistication and alluring charm captivate every sense, while the projection and longevity is of high standards and expected from a niche perfume house. The interplay of saffron, rhubarb, and leather accord creates earthy tones that seamlessly meld with the sweet embrace of brown sugar. Labdanum, in its refined essence, completes this fragrance, enticing the animalistic within you. The result is an enticing and sensorially rich experience that lingers long after application.

My personal favorite from the entire collection from this conceptually artistic historical scenario. I definitely see this as my personal favorite and toy when the sun goes down. Very well made, the quality of the ingredients is really felt. As for the previous two, I have only words of praise. But this is still my personal favorite. If I could talk about some sort of order? III is my winner II second favorite I also like the finish of this fragrance, which is actually better than II. Difficult decision.. Once again, a warm recommendation, especially for this creation.

I got free sample from the brand and tried all 3 and I really like them all. As a start I bought full bottle of numero lll which is luxurious incense perfume with very long lasting performance. I feel the high quality ingredients in every single one. Very excited to get my new sample lV & V.

I sampled this fragrance knowing nothing about the brand, but two things about NUMERO III made me intrigued enough to get a discovery set - the combination of warm spicy, amber and leather accords, and the unique bottle/presentation. For this to be one of the the first fragrances from a brand, I had a feeling that they and the perfumer had a story to tell, so I tried it blind, with no expectations and a clean slate. I was prepared to like it, or decide that it wasn't for me and move on. My first thought: wow! First thing's first - when the discovery set arrived, I could smell the sample before I opened the box. Each sample comes in a glass vial with a cap on it, but I could smell the fragrances through the vials, through the cap and permeating from the small black box they came in. The mix of all 3 scents playing together was strong. I could pick up on something VERY good, but I wasn't sure which one. I sniffed the atomiser of all 3 - all 3 are nice - but when I got to NUMERO III I knew that this fragrance was the one that was captivating me amidst the cacophony of notes. So I immediately tried NUMERO III, and I have given it a full wear, almost finishing the 3ml sample up. Seeing "leather", "smoky" and "animalic", I was worried that this might not be for me, or that it would be harsh and strong in an off-putting way, but there isn't a single thing 'harsh' about this scent. It's so smoothly blended, from the opening to the deep drydown. There is such warmth to the fragrance, being backed up by an incense note that doesn't smell 'church-y' or like you are burning incense sticks. I think the combination of the cardamom and the incense play well together, and then the saffron and rhubarb gives it a sweetness which pulls it closer to unisex than overly masculine. There is also something else that is sweet about this fragrance and I can't identify it in the notes here, but there is a rich kind of chocolate or sweet gourmand playing in the background. The warmth with that playful sweetness gives off an alluring vibe. You want to smell it over and over again, so I can only imagine other people will feel the same way, I don't know much about concentration or levels, but the glisten of the oil settling on my skin let me know immediately that this was not only a high concentration level, but they didn't spare expenses or hold back. It lasts forever on skin, and even longer on clothes. It fills a room in a pleasant way - it isn't harsh or intrusive - it creates a cloud around you, and then leaves a lingering cloud after you've left. NUMERO III is a fragrance that is best for autumn and winter, but I think you can also wear it in the spring on a crisp day or night. This can be a Date Night or Evening Event fragrance, but the sweetness and warmth also make it something you can wear a little more casually than that. Whatever the setting, if you want to impress or captivate those around you, NUMERO III will work perfectly. Of the 3 fragrances, NUMERO III is the fragrance I want first. I don't just want it I NEED it. It is expensive though, so I'll have to treat myself as a gift, but I know I will eventually own a full bottle of this. Longevity: definitely long-lasting. 8-10 hours +. Maybe more. Sillage/Projection: strong at first, then moderate deeper in the drydown, but never weak and never a skin-scent until the very end of the 8-10 hours.

This is very similiar to Black Afgano to my nose dare I say 1:1 It's a great scent but I don't need another BA. So as far as the review, its a good colder weather and all season evening scent. Deep, dense, dark, and dirty if you're into that sort of profile.

It's ok. I like a lot of Christian Provenzano's work...well I like Halfeti. A lot. But this just felt so similar to his Capua which feels like a copy of Terroni which is a masterpiece. I don't know if I'm being dumb or noseblind to something here, but I d'know. I don't get any of the notes from the Fragrantica list. Just underwhelming to be honest.

Being fairly new to the entire niche part of collection perfumes, i am still learning alot about the different smells, that is not "just" pleasent and crowdpleasing. I would say, of the 3 Adamo parfum samples i received from the discovery set, this is by far my least favorite. I have tried it 3 times now, on the back of my hand, with weeks apart. What i get from this one, is an extremely smoky opening, which in my opinion is a bit offputting. Its very mysterious, and by far the most daring of the 3 samples. As far as longevity goes, this one goes forever. Being as stupid as i am, i tried it before i went to workout, which gave a bit of nausea. i Tried to wash it off 3 times, during my workout, with soap and everything, but i could still smell it. As im writing this interview 10 hours after, i can still smell it on my hand. Extremely potent.

#1819 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this decant from scentsplit.com. Rhubarb is not a common note in fragrances specifically for men. According to my database I’ve tried out 16, purchased 7 and Afnan "Abstract Portrait” and John Varvatos “Vintage” are the only ones I haven’t yet given away. But I have worn each of those once, so they’re probably going in the men’s shelter Christmas box this year. The issue is always the same. No matter how interesting these rhubarb scents start out, and this starts out interesting, it turns skanky in the dry down like there’s a hint of rotting vegetables in a dirty dumpster. I don’t enjoy smelling it and don’t imagine anyone else will. For me this is a scrubber that I wouldn’t own at a 10th the ridiculous $345 price. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

Most captivating fragrance from @adamo_parfum first trio. In an extraordinary enigmatic designer bottle in three colors that gives to some of us impression of work of M.C. Esther (Maurits Cornelis Escher Dutch, graphic artist) So, what about NUMERO Ill fragrance? Why is it the most captivating of all three? Simply because its composition doesn't have any vanilla notes or any chocolate, but my nose sense gourmand qualities, nice chocolate vanilla accent, probably because of a combination spicy-gourmand Cardamom resinous incense and Amber It opens with notes of soft saffron and cardamom and which smoothly flows into seductive heart notes of Leather and Rhubarb, then, it's saturated with fragrant shades of heady and passionate smoky incense accent. A beautiful, surprisingly charming sexy trail of perfume is intertwined with smoky woody aromatic notes of precious warmth amber and in the dry down becomes more gourmand. With this particular combination of note , Perfumer, which is no other than Christian Provenzano, emphasizes a bold and at the same time caressing character of NUMERO lll

Starts off like ELDO Frustration with a slight hazelnut accord, but quickly settles into a smokey, ashy, earthy leather. I find no similarity to the bewitching Yasmine (which is a much better perfume IMO). I agree with the review below - it is similar to Black Afghano.
