dús bőr akkorddal nyílik meg, mely a sáfrány és az édes mirha egybekelésének varázslatos ünnepe selymes, párnásan puha diós nugát érzést nyújt, melynek a bergamott ad fényes bevonatot, a vajszerű velúr szélein egy csepp édesgyökér illata lebeg, mely leginkább egy elvarázsolt, ibolyaszínű keménycukorka lidércként táncoló illatfoszlányaira emlékeztet. szinte mentolosan ánizsos, sós karamellás háttéreffekt rezonál a fekete bőrrel, keserédesen és savanykásan megrepesztve a puha velúr ködösen aranyló nugátját. észrevehetően az édesgyökér csodákat tesz a bőrrel, hiszen egy aprócska érintéssel is felpörgeti az eseményeket az illat testében, ahol a pacsuli növényi minőségét India és Egyiptom titkos elixírje, a nagarmotha domborítja ki. nem véletlenül alkalmazzák a nagarmothát, avagy cypriolt – ami a papirusz növény szárított gyökerének olaja – a pacsuli alternatívájaként, hiszen egyedülállóan gazdag, fás-mohaszerű, földesen bőrszerű, enyhén füstös, borsos fűszerezettségű aláfestést ad az akkordnak. az illat szívének bőrpamlagján már nem holmi álcázott, mézesen aranyszínű kacér csábítás folyik, hanem valódi párás intimitás, összefonódva a pacsuli és nagarmotha pasztától kócos bőr szófán egy izzadtságtól nedves fás örvényben. gyantásan sötét és egyszerre csillogó, mint a puha színarany... a mindig tiszta, lendületes állati érzékiség megtestesítője. a selymes krémesség lágy fényében zöld pontként vibráló növényi hangjegyekkel kísérve érkezünk a leszáradás végső állomására: végtelen, háromdimenziósan plasztikus érzést adó, bézsszínű egzotikus erdők mélyére, hogy átadhassuk magunkat a papiruszolajjal cserzett bőr és a gazdag pacsuli mély, erőteljesen kábító érintésének.

I am a little bit at loss for words to describe how fantastic this scent is. It is a journey between feelings and thoughts indeed, you are completely taken away by the seducing combination of leather and liquorice and in the next second you try to analyse what it is you are a part of – because it is a very immersive experience with nuances you might not be used to (I was not at least). You get the impression that it is an oud scent, but it is only an impression. To me, finding Dior Homme Parfum a bit too sweet and floral, the liquorice and saffron are just perfect top note company for the deep leather and wood impression. Even if production will not be resumed (nobody knows) there are still at the time of writing web shops that has several Adi Ale Van perfumes for sale including Dilema. Dilema smells sharper on paper, and much more rounded on skin. But to begin with, it is nevertheless very woody in a way that some will perceive as a chemical sharpness. So be considerate and wait a couple of hours before wearing on public transport and crowded spaces. This is a piece of art that I reserve mostly for myself and a very limited audience.

One of the most controversial parfum i ve ever tried. First of all IT DOES NOT SMELL LIKE DIOR HOMME Second of all IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOT SMELL LIKE OUD FOR GREATNESS. That said, leather forward fragrance, really really dark and subtle. In the first 20 minutes i get bergamot, but then it goes away. A lot of leather surrounded by: wood and papyrus, which make the fragrance very oily. Like i love (see obsessive leather from La serra). But the best thing in my opinion about this fragrance is licoroce. Omg A real licorice, present, noticeble, a lot. Not sweet, real licorice, oily, deep, profound, incredible. I Will not talk about the sensation and emoticon this fragrance give me. Ill just say that i luckily found a full bottle that i immediatly bought when, closing my eyes, this parfum took me to my favourite era, sensation, elevation and memories

This was a really nice scent, but as everyone said it's not that unique really. It smells similar to oud for greatness by initio but if it was better. OFG is very screechy, but this is like if it was smooved out. I get people wouldn't want to get a scent that's similar to a sort of mainstream scent, but I wouldn't mind purchasing this as it is the cheapest adi scent. But pretty low on my purchase list.

I don't know guys, I am sad. There are so many amazing, unique, jaw dropping creations from this brand with the lowest Fragrantica ratings. Then there's this one here, the millionth variation on the Oud for Greatness theme, and it steals the buzz.

This is a beautiful woody masculine fragrance. I would put it in the same wheelhouse as Fille en Aiguilles by Serge Lutens, Norne by Slumberhouse, and Scent One: Hinoki by Comme des Garcons. Very lovely, but hard to wear because of the dense gothic qualities to it.

Why do I smell Dior homme 2011 in here? There’s definitely some carrot seed oil going on here, it’s nice I guess, nothing unique, it smells kinda papery and earthy with a slight zing to it and some cardamom with a leather base

A masterpiece. Perfume and package. Everything is hand made by the artist Adi Ale Van himself. Wallnutt cap with golden leafs, bottle hand painted, hand made wood and leather box. This is not a perfume, this is ART

This is a good leather fragrance thats actually wearable from something quirky as this brand

Beautiful frag, very soothing. I smell green and incensy smoke. Very good performer
