Gruia - Childhood Elixir

It opens very earthy and almost sour similar to summer of 83, the sourness goes a way and leads to a dark earthy and herbal lavender. Like lavender thats been crushed into the soil. There are slightly mineralic nuances along with some green violet leaf accords adding a slight citrus effect giving it a tone of an earthy herbal lavender tea. Eventually the lavender phases out and some musks come in giving it an extremly subtle uricness but it's not noticeable. Also some cloves come out along with incense making the drydown dark, deep, earthy and slightly smoky with little pops of a light floral sweetness here and there. Overall a gorgeous fragrance and a wonderful homage to Adi's late grandfather.

ترکیبی نیمه آشنا که گاهی طعنه بر تکراری بودن می زنه و گاهی هم به خاص و یونیک بودن رایحه ای هربال و سبز،آروماتیک،فلزی و از همه بولد تر ،حس خاکی و نمور اون هست که انصافا در اجرای کانسپت عطر موفق عمل کرده؛ضمن این که کیفیت و پرفورمنس بسیار خوبی هم داره یک شیرینی تصنعی که با تنباکو وارد میشه و برای من کمی لوس بود حضور داره اما خداروشکر پایداری زیادی نداشت برگ بنفشه بسیار قدرتمند با اجرایی سبز،فلزی و همراهی نت های آروماتیک برای عُمق بخشیدن به فضای خاکی و تبدیل اون به بوی خاک نَمور و پر از ریشه و تازگی با هر بار بوییدن عطر؛تَک تَک نت ها جلوی بینی تون رِژه میرن و به زیبایی قابل تفکیک هست و همین موضوع برای من بسیار دوست داشتنی بود مثل لوندر که تا آخرین لحظات حضور داره و نقش پر رنگ ای رو هم ایفا می کنه؛با شخصیت ای صابونی_نرم _صیقلی و تکمیل کننده مشابه ای براش نمیشه گفت اما توی این حال و هوا عطر بوییدم ولی خاطر ام اسم ها رو بازیابی نمی کنه !!!کلیت کار کلاسیک هست اما بهتره بهش بگیم نئوکلاسیک ******************** scent:7.5/10 longevity:10/10 sillage:9/10 purchase value:1/10 ******* overall:6.9/10

It has a very harsh and strong opening, I had sprayed it and had 4 other people smell it and each one of us agreed that it smelled exactly and I mean exactly like pale dried lemon tea, which other than the smell of dried lemons has a rather strong woody smell. After about 20-30 minutes after it had settled the dried lemon tea smell is still apparent the woodiness has mellowed, but now a beautiful smooth lavender is introduced not any lavender. Lavender that is still in the ground, you can really smell the soil and lavender in it. It does not last that long for me, the longest it went was about 5-6 hours. This fragrance however is indeed niche and not everyone is going to love it. If you decide to buy it, give it a couple of days of testing before making up your mind on it, it really needs time to appreciate this scent. Personally I would not wear this often but it is a very unique scent.

As everyone else said, the opening is rough. To me, it smells as if someone put soil in a jar then pissed in it as well. They then opened the jar and put it up to my noise. I was considering scrubbing it off, honestly, but I just decided to tough it out. The dry down is where it really shines and is actually not that bad. It becomes a nice woody scent, however the dirtiness still lingers in that background, but not as strong as the opening. Gives it a nice touch in my opinion. I would probably only get this for the bottle, but wouldn't personally wear this.
