Born Original for Her

A very underrated perfume that truly stands out for me and is simultaneously fresh, fruity, sweet,soft, lactonic and aromatic. This is a perfume that is adventurous and comforting, sexy and innocent at the same time. I have gotten so many compliments wearing this, even from my cousin who detests sweet perfumes. This one can be worn by women of all ages and at all occasions. I wear it throughout the year whenever I need a pick-me-up perfume. Given the price tag (and my subjective love for this perfume) I would recommend blind buying this one.

I just got this one second time.. by knowing that I never repeat the same bottles..but this time I did change this rule:) Born original is something like if Jean Paul Gaultier "Classique" would have a baby with Nina Ricci "Nina". Bergamot, apple, soft, warm woody base. This magic lasts for over 5 hours on my skin. I dont understand why this fragrance is so cheap- its worth of more money for sure. Would easily imagine classy woman in elegant light- colored clothes walking on the heels. She smells sweet, crispy, yummy, sexy.

Beautiful fragrance. Full of peach and sometimes I get a candy apple scent.I also notice that occasionally I get a smokiness to the scent. Not incense like but rather a fire that is now down to only embers. Not overly sweet. Great office scent. Longevity is around 5-6 hours using 4-6 sprays. Sillage at dry down is not bad. A little bit past arms length and slowly brings itself close to the skin before it disappears.

I bought this scent on a blind by during the pandemic, I picked it up online for less than $20. The scent is amazing it’s a fruity floral scent, with a wood base. The projection is moderate as Well as the longevity, It is definitely a spring daytime scent, it reminds me of hugo boss the scent for her, It’s a great value for the price and a lovely perfume.

Affordable treat. :) I bought it immediately because it reminds me of the 90's so much. Vanilla Fields, Exclamation, apricot and vanilla, you get the picture. ;) Fortunately I can't smell apple at all. Great as an everyday scent - many compliments! It's more wearable than Halle Berry and I prefer the bottle. Cool sporty vibe. For non - snobs! :)

I don’t play about this fragrance: when I found out it was discontinued, I restocked 2 more bottles. It’s my go-to in the summer: day or evening, I'll wear it when I don't feel like thinking about it too much. It’s a youthful, playful and girly scent. Strong on the tonka bean note, a very pleasant one. Love it.

It is a fragrance for little girls, reminds some perfumes from Escada.. I was around 30 years old when I got it as a gift, so I had to regift it to my friend and lotion for the body I also regifted..body lotion was beating up to the nose with cheap sweetness and alcohol denat. Just could not use it.

Cozy, relaxing, charming citrus & candy apple scent. Fruity sweet in a playful way. Quite fresh, but also balsamic due to tonka. Very well blended, perfect for spring, fall and mild winter. It can be used in summer, but I prefer cooler scents for warm season.

This perfume is definitaly underrated, for all of you who think she doesn't last. Let this baby macerate a few months after spritzing it a couple of times. She will suprise you I promise

This is my signature scent, long lasting, good price and smells sweet, I mostly get the candy apple and a hint of peach.

This is sincerely underrated. While exploring reviews I came across this little melty glass bottle, which I immediately loved the look of. Seeing an eBay seller letting these go for seven bucks, I thought, why not? Upon arrival I smelled... nothing. But, after letting it macerate for a month this little tomboy has come alive. The opening is a fruity candy apple burst, and a few minutes later the woods come out to play. Not just any woods either. The olive tree, cedar, and tonka combination is interesting and different. Some below have mentioned a masculine bent to Born for her, while I feel it’s more of a ‘sporty’ vibe- keeping with the idea of Adidas as a sports brand. I know I’ll wear this in the fall and winter. Something about it, while not spicy, lends itself to the idea of ripe apples, leaves falling, and a cozy scarf against newly chilled crisp air. I contemplated letting Born go. Now, I’m happy to say it’s in my collection.

Nice fruity floral, good for summer. Apricot, candy apple and jasmine. Surprisingly well done opening - young, fresh and optimistic. It reminds me Fleur d'Interdit of Givenchy, but it isn't as complexe as FdI. Notes of base are a bit cheap, but well... it's Adidas, not Givenchy or Guerlain after all. I think it could be very nice start of a perfume collection for teenager. Or good change for summer if you wear only BCBG perfumes.

Very feminine, sweet, fruity and powdery. It's a pretty light, girly perfume, very easy to wear and a safe blind buy, especially for the price. I will most likely carry this around in my handbag and spray/reapply on the go whenever I forget to wear perfume or feel like the one I'm wearing has disappeared. I like it, but it's not a blow-your-socks-off kind of perfume. It's simple, sweet, inoffensive and convenient.

This is a very sweet fruity scent. It's a heavy, thick sweet and, if you're thinking of the brand name, it's not a fresh scent to spray on for physical activity. It's a sexy, night out kind of perfume. It's more on the side of gourmand with a touch of spice and wood in the base. Really well done. I love this one.

This started off fresh and soft but became more warm and amber like. I much prefer the opening to the dry down. Lasting power is good, so is silage. I enjoyed trying it and wearing a spritz for the afternoon, but it didn't wow me, so I wouldn't buy it.

I smelled this at Sears recently, as it was on clearance. This smells so much like Halle by Halle Berry. It's a warm, sweet, seductive fragrance. I own Halle so there is no need for me to purchase this.

I would've bought it if I was looking for a new warm day scent for Spring/cooler Summer days. Pleasantly, fresh, sweet, creamy, long wearing, affordable. I might still buy it later in Spring/early Summer. 2020 Update: I finally caved and bought 50ml. I don't know why I kept putting it off, because this is my Summer fragrance style! Maybe what I described as creamy is syrupy to others. I love tonka and coconut in my fragrances. Especially tonka year round and coconut in the warmer months. I panicked when I realized I wouldn't be able to repurchase Cacharel Agua de Amor Amor. Born Original for her is not a dupe for CAdAA, but it's a good replacement for me, since I realized that I really like fragrances with a tropical vibe.

Not the worst bottle design for the famous sports brand. The perfume smells fresh and promising in the opening, but the drydown is very masculine. A strong cardamom note is what lingers. Very strange...a women's perfume that turnes into a men's cologne....

Born Original is not a work of originality, but it shows some interesting notes. It falls in the casual category, yet it's not totally teeny bop. It opens very bright and citrus, yet other notes can be immediately perceived. Once the citrus calms down the heart is very floral and fruity. Apple is very noticeable, but it's not your typical obnoxious green apple. It's more of a luscious red apple, even if synthetical. The drydown is interesting and warm. The fève tonka and cedarwood are very nice and cosy, while olive tree wood is barely there. Unwanted guest here is coconut that keeps strong all along and makes this perfume quite cloying. Longlasting. The bottle is pleasant.

I was a bit hesistant because of the brand . Adidas fragrances is to me very synthetic fruity and citrus like deodorants for teenagers. Oh was I wrong ! It is a sweet candy and summery apple. I especially love the drydown which is like a nice make-up scent. It smells like an expensive lipstick, sweet candy apple, powder and expensive sun block such as Pizz Buin. Very nice. Projects well and lasts forever. I am not a big fan of the bottle - it is a bit too sporty for my taste . But it stays true to the brand. This might be my summer fragrance for 2015 :)

The quality of this one is above the average on sports brand perfume level. At the beginning it is quite similar to Boss Orange, which I like about it. In the drydown it gets warmer and more woody and slightly masculine maybe. Lasting power and sillage are not great but it is OK for an everday cozy scent

If the bottle only had a cap I would love it. The fragrance is a younger, fresher Ungaro 2007. The Ungaro comparison is the one with the purple fluid! (Not to be confused with Ungaro Kiss which is a pale pink violet fluid, or Ungaro 2007 with the peach fluid). Holy cow!

I thought it smelled quite nice! It is warm and musky and fresh all at once I didn't buy it but I thought it was easy to wear and pretty !! Casual and would make a lovely gift!! More interesting than the other Adidas perfumes More grown up and with some depth!

It's a juicy jam with a hint of citrus, very pleasent, lively, young and better than some more expensive creations (I don't think it's similar to Boss scent though). For the price... give it a try!

Similar to replay tank plate for her. I like the opening light freshness only. The drydown on me is a cozy, warm tonka bean scent for night or for colder seasons.

This perfume doesn't last longer than 30 minutes. 😔😞An absolute waste of money.
