Energy Drive

I first discovered Adidas Energy Drive in Berlin, when I received a sample at the Berlin Marathon Expo 2025. I liked it right away, so I bought a 30ml bottle at a dm store in Potsdam, and later picked up a backup bottle during my visit to Dresden. The scent is really nice, fresh, clean, and perfect for summer. Unfortunately, the longevity is pretty disappointing. On my skin, it only lasts around 3–4 hours. But what makes this fragrance special to me is the memory attached to it. Every time I wear it, my mind instantly goes back to Berlin. It’s amazing how a scent can trigger memories so vividly. Miss Berlin. 🇩🇪

Great fragrance, despite being only a cheap Adidas product, performed great for me. Very sweet, summery and got me a surprising amount of compliments - would recommend, very underrated!

I'm going to have to write an apology letter to Adidas. This is not only good but it lasts longer than a couple of hours too! 😂😂😭

its generic yes, there's a hint similar to dior sauvage. but overall this is nice daily scent.

Fresh and Pleasant, But Lacks Performance. Energy Drive by Adidas is a decent fragrance. It’s fresh, pleasant, and quite versatile — definitely in the same family as many other “blue fragrances.” You can pick up notes of cardamom and pepper; the pepper is soft, not overpowering, but noticeable enough to give it some character. It’s a clean, everyday scent — nothing groundbreaking, but nice overall. Unfortunately, the longevity and especially the sillage were disappointing. No one around me could smell it unless they got really close, which was a letdown. I do like the scent itself, but the performance is just not there. Still, for the price, it’s not a bad deal.

Unironically, Adidas Energy Drive stands shoulder to shoulder with most modern designer fragrances - I'm talking about the likes of YSL, Boss, and the rest of the usual suspects. Recently, I've been sampling a bunch of "popular" releases from the last few years: YSL Y Elixir, Boss Bottled Parfum, Boss Bottled Elixir, Montblanc Legend Red, Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Intense... you get the picture. And after all that? Here's the verdict: this $8 Adidas cheapie is on the same level as them in perceived ingredient quality, blending, and overall composition. No, it’s not about being in the same scent family - it's about being on the same playing field in terms of sheer perfumery execution. Not to mention, it performs better than most of them. Honestly, if you lined up Energy Drive on a shelf next to these expensive designers, it would blend right in. No one would question it. You wouldn't either. What does that tell us? First, that a lot of today’s "high-end" designer fragrances are really just overpriced bargain-bin specials - mass-produced, synthetic, creatively bankrupt - yet slapped with a $100+ price tag. Second - and more positively - it means you don’t have to burn your wallet to smell just as good. Energy Drive makes for a perfect "fresh out of the shower" dumb reach. It’s clean, pleasant, and absolutely passes the sniff test. I’m not hyping up Energy Drive as a must-buy. I’m just saying: if you blind-bought it thinking it was a $100 designer scent, you probably wouldn’t question it. That's how low the bar has dropped.

#1415 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Fourth tryout of the Adidas Vibes series. This orange, cardamom and pepper scent has a little more staying power than the previous three, which is not saying much, but of "Chill Zone", "Get Comfy" and 'Spark Up", this is the best. Still not remotely an EDP, still not worth owning. Smells like Myurgia "Yacht Man Red" and the impotency is about the same. (I recommend everyone try out at least one "Yacht Man" scent so you know what the weakest after shave level scent in the fragrance industry smells like and you can measure all others from the rock bottom of perfumery.). I would say this is good enough for the gym locker. Basically like any of the very indifferent Nautica's.

Esta madre tiene jengibre la salida aunque no lo declare (lo cual no está mal, solo como aportación a la información de las notas). Es una fragancia EXTREMADAMENTE genérica. Huele casi igual a la nueva náutica pure blue (entre ambas yo me quedo con la náutica)... Uso ideal: Gym. Performace: 4 hrs (1 hr proyección media/baja). Perfiles aromáticos similares: * Náutica Pure Blue. * Yeah! de maison Alhambra. * Fakhar black. No la recomiendo a menos que se consiga por menos de usd $15.

Exactly what you would expect from Adidas. Generic and nice. I was hoping for something a bit more interesting because I’ve tried Happy Feels and that one is amazing, especially in hot weather. I wouldn’t call it Citrus, this is more like a herbaceous/lightly spicy fragrance.

Smells like a classic shampoo—super clean with lots of bubbles 🚿🫧. And then? That’s it. Nothing more. Just a faint, very weak hint of sweetness 🍬, and it completely lacks performance 🌬️⏳.

Very very, very weak fragrance

It smelled good on the test paper. However, the spiciness is too overwhelming and very rough on the nose. Suitable for those who likes strong gym/sporty scents and wants to hide their BO/sweat.

Wow i washed my hands and still smelling it. It is the longest lasting of all this collection. But... the cardamom is SOOO synthetic, like a burnt spice. It has a vibe of Invictus, like a "fresh deodorant" or "gel blue" type, that is a bit "generic", i like it despite the drydown spice is noisy, but i prefer the "green" flanker

Don't be fooled because it's adidas this perfume smell gooood 3-5 hours lasting . Fresh , clean after shower and sexy it's perfect for summer. Similar to other freshies you already semelled

An ok, summery perfume, a bit peppery, it makes you feel fresh, ok to wear in a hurry after a shower.... If you want to run to the store or stuff like that :)
