Smooth Pace

You know the saying - don’t judge a juice by its bottle. Unisex with a perfect seaside resort spa effect of cashmeran elegance, marine notes and woody, masculine smoke. Synthetic opening, smooth landing. It starts as a battle between femme and masc and lands as truly neutral until it settles as masculine in the end. It’s the most elevated, luxurious scent I’ve came across within this price range and it got me straight up geeking. I kept sniffing my wrists the whole evening and the day after! Yes it does indeed last that long even though it sinks into your skin and doesn’t project much after some time. It’s presence turn from moderate to intimate within the first couple hours hours. I overspray it, and it sticks. A complete oil strike of a blind purchase as I haven’t tested this mixture of accords on my skin prior, and had no idea how they’d manifest with my musk. I began wearing it to sleep and it powders my dreams just right. Initially I felt as if it had something very interestingly «ugly» about it, in the best way possible. Although it’s subtle, not overly offensive, the perfume has this intimate, musty quality to it. The animalic trait became very evident to me especially when inhaling up close, but hides beneath the amber, salty accords otherwise. It could entice someone to come closer and sniff you out, just saying. It makes me want to test proper animalic fragrances. When wearing it during the day, the slight citrus becomes very necessary and could’ve continued longer for my tastes. More bergamot, some bazil and black pepper would round it off as a perfect daily grab for me. I layer it with my dark aromatics to enrich it’s original unisex presentation with a more aggressive flavor. These aforementioned spa-like powdery qualities remind me a little of one of my milestone perfumes which helped me realize my preferences, The Dreamer. I’m not saying they’re actually all that similar, but I recognized a faint familiarity in this. I’ve been looking for The Dreamers soapiness without the choking, overly feminine floral aspects and I found it in this. The salt is just right, perfect in its role. Mighty impressive considering it’s a cheap adidas. It’s absolutely worth that 9€ - I bought more straight away and I’ll look for it in something with greater sillage • 8,5/10

I dont't think this smells like blanche by byredo AT ALL. In my opinion that's a scary Karen scent and this one is suprisingly unique and nice and good quality and all. Itt smells like indi (or any of those sandalwood,musk,fig scents I guess) but much less sweet and it has a spicy elelement to it which I didn't like at first but seeing the notes i've convinced myself it smells churcy so I love it loool. Also I'm just gonna say it. I wrote a review about indi smelling like cum. Now this one, being much less sweet and perfumey............. edit: goooood I'm so stupid I was wearing anna sui classic layered with hermes un jardin sous la mer when I wrote this review because this smells JUST LIKE those two perfumes together :,D okay not the same, but similar enough for me to think I was wearing this one. Which kinda shows how good this perfume is, in my opinion. ( sous la mer is very polarizing though, I think you can still like this one even if you hate sous la mer)

What the fuck? Lol Opens very salty and mineral but the drydown is what really caught me off guard. On my skin, it is identical to MM’s bubble bath. No, not similar not “in the same vein.” Identical. If i had smelled the drydown blind i would’ve confidently said it was Bubble Bath. It has that salty mineral musk with a subtle ambery warmth not sweet, just clean, airy and almost steamy. I genuinely can’t get over how close it is. Lol. This is one of those rare low-risk, high-reward blind buys. Considering how dirt cheap this is, i’m honestly impressed.

Smooth Pace has a fresh opening that goes straight into piney aromatics and rapidly evolves into piney aromatics, probably dry, unsmoked olibanum. Then it quickly shifts to ambergris and becomes incensey. The scent is rapid; I don't really know if it's really wearable or if, as the name suggests, it's there just to create a vibe. But I'm pleasantly surprised by the experience for $8 (30 ml). It does not smell like Amouage Lineage, though. UPD: it does perform for about 6 hours—which is excellent. It also smells like a fresher take on Mystic Incense by the house The Merchant of Venice. Quite nice!

Wow! It dances! Adidas for 10eurs. Starts out quiet and smooth, as the name suggests, very cashmerey, then does a 180 and transforms into the coastal cool sea. I can smell original Oud Minerale in the second half without the risky animalic tinge. Fantastic, but something starts bothering me and i'm thinking it's the salt. I catch wafts of it and it's slightly sweaty. Like it's not me wearing the perfume, but someone else, next to me, a stranger. Phlur tried to do that concept, ha. Sadly, i don't like that part, it keeps bumping into me and i become tired. Incredible nonetheless.

Salty and clean. So clean it turns into a bar of soap. Tickles my nose. It's a great cheap fragrance to dose yourself in after the gym or when you don't want to use perfume at all but you also wanna spray something on yourself. I'm blind to spice and resins in this. But there's a smokey-airy feel to it. I'm trying to find better words for this. UPD: Ok maybe I got it! It's giving TV static. Ozonic scent of a turned on big fat TV set. And a bit of citrus. I'm digging it honestly

Surprisingly very good. Absolutely worth buying. Cheap but interesting, very clean salt and moss. Found it by a recommendation of a very experienced perfume lover. Could not imagine it will be so oftenly worn by me.

It opens with a clean, sporty freshness that feels very Adidas, but it quickly shifts direction. The contrast between athletic freshness and warm, musky resinous notes is genuinely surprising.

It gives salty heavy whipped cream on a beach on a grey morning on a late spring day.

Smells like a niche perfume. Reminds me of the ocean. Very unisex.

A beautiful niche fragrance for just three quid. I absolutely love these unassuming scents—they cost no more than a protein bar, and then suddenly, they sweep you away to a completely different place, into a salty landscape full of mist and a gentle chill. Pure perfection.

I blind bought it. I don’t mind it, but it smells like Blanche and I’m blown away by how adidas and Byredo pyramids are made differently, and still smell very similar

I was shocked by how nice this is. If you love replica bubble bath and glossier You Soie you'll love this. Performance is pretty decent too.

Kind of audacious concept but worth the 10 bucks? Pity I can test these nowhere.
