UEFA Champions League Pro Player

Pro Player EDP is a new fragrance yet I kept seeing it online for 1/3 to 1/2 the usual price of an EDP in this Adidas line. Finally I bought a bottle for 6E 100ml. It's QUITE intense at the opening. Cinnamon and "aromatics" (tobacco or hay, with some soft sweetness, almonds or nuts of some sort). The first fragrance molecule is Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes(Iso E Super) and it's a heavy dollop. I don't smell citrus or lavender. It smells like a Dunhill type fragrance from 15 years ago. In fact, it reminded me on first pray of Dunhill London but not as warm and Christmasy. Those late-2000s and early-2010s masculine releases were built on this chassis: heavy Iso E Super, coumarin-driven synthetic pipe tobacco/cinnamon warmth, and a solid synthetic musk base. Pro Player has Hexamethylindanopyran for the musk. Pro Player stays radiating and strong for quite some time. I like it, but not so close to my nose, lower on the body, due the strongly radiating molecules. It's masculine and warm smelling, yet synthetic and mid vibration. For 6E it's steal if you want a stripped down, throw-back aromatic and it has projection and longevity far longer than other Adidas, and I have a lot of them. I think this is completely misplaced in the UEFA line, because it is not sporting, no "eau de stade" vibe, and not youthful. Odd release. I wonder if Coty created this for the Vibes line and sidelined it into UEFA.
