Ambre Noir

This is elegant stuff and projection to boot!! I got it, looking at the notes and good price! Very very impressed! Only negative--On close sniff, has a bit of a metallic smell, even when sniffing the sprayer. BUT when sprayed from good distance there is none of the metallic smell and smells bloody amazing. Smell wise PATCHOULI is the star here, which is made soft and rounder with the sweet Ambery vanillin note. The apple note playes a fantastic support preventing it from being overtly sweet and makes it masculine. Can be unisex BUT I think it won't smell too exciting if the girls are wearing it, more polarising on guys. Smell becomes more smooth as time goes by and the apple goes away. Versatility- mild/cool weather. Day and night. Great for dates, smells very different to other popular colognes. Performance-- SOLID!! 8-12 hours every time with arm length projection for 6 hours minimum. Stunning blind buy! By the way Bottle does not look half as good as it does in pics, but who really cares! Would like to try a sample of Noir! But it's very expensive and harder to find. 9/10

A gorgeous hidden ambery gem! Amber first & foremost, with its warm, woody, & mild sweetness. Supported by a spicy, green, herbal, & cozy patchouli, & some added vanilla sweetness. The combination turns a little powdery at the drydown but remains the same smell-wise for the most part: patchouli-spicy amber with & a dash of sweetness. Very soft & alluring. Warm & cozy. Charming & inviting. Just like a well-made amber fragrance is. One of the best amber-focused fragrance I've ever came across & it does justice to amber. A must try for the fans of amber &/or patchouli. Love! EDIT 26/11/19: Geparlys, the parent company of Adnan B. also sells the exact scent in a cubicle bottle with a black cap similar to that of D&G The One, named "Ambre Noir ", too! Just found that out today.

If you are interested in this fragrance or just browsing through reviews, save yourself the anguish decision-making and just buy this! For reference, Ambre Noir has the patchouli booziness of A*Men/Pure Malt, the apple/vanilla accord of Boss Bottled, mild spice of cardamom from YSL’s la Nuit, all wrapped in warm, smooth amber. What emerges from this concoction is a sweet, warm, boozy, delicious, long lasting cold weather fragrance that far exceeds its low price tag. Does that sound good? Because it is great! Wow, what an incredible value. More evidence to suggest that price is not always proportional to quality in this business. Long live the hidden gems!

This is really nice but sadly not a Coromandel dupe. I can pick up the apple but sadly no white choc :( It does have a bit of the Coromandel vibe though. I'd feel quite comfortable wearing this as I think it could pass for unisex. I've got to admit that it smells fab on the fellas though. The oh has to fight me off! lol It is a very balsamic fragrance with a good dose of patch and a bit of vanilla. It does smell fruity care of the apple. The cardamom is pretty evident but not too heavy on the spice. I bought this so cheaply but it smells much more expensive. Moderate longevity and sillage.

Yet another blind buy which sits in the winner side. For $28 there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Beautiful almost classy bottle and kinda niche quality juice. Everything happens 5 minutes after initial spray. Sweet nice vanilla /patchouli wearable cologne. Not cloying and something really hard to understand. Easy going likeable colder fragrance that worth every penny. If get a chance to blind buy do you a favor and go ahead.also to me so familiar scent but unfortunately couldn't point it out so far to what fragrance. Cheers and stay safe.

Not a cheapie anymore . I went to replace mine and it's going for $60-75 a bottle. I like this spicy amber / bergamot & vanilla bomb and it's a real beast mode winter frag. Imho this is a hidden gem, it projects like crazy and lasts for 6-8 hours on my skin. When I run out, I'll be using Angel's Share which has a similar amber / vanilla vibe ; but it costs a lot more . Perfect amber and vanilla frag for a night out on the town / winter evenings. I don't like it, I love this one.

Be still my beating heart. Ran across this one and bought it blindly (more expensive than most). I'm glad I took the chance. The bergamot and cardamom blend so beautifully with what smells like apple. The longevity and sillage are amazing, particularly because the fragrance evolves beautifully over time. I got five or six compliments and a few "elongated hugs" while wearing this one. A new star of my collection 8.5/10

Butifull. I get the boss bottled and the one comparison...its got a young playfull and a bit of a mature vibe this is a very High quality bland. 7-10 hours good performence. Sweet lemoni spicy cardamomi with apple and after 4 hours Its a butifull vanila and a great amber with just a little bit of spice Mybe cardamom ..the skin scent after 6 hours its a good solid strong skin scent. Very well done .

Lovely cheapie. Away from the skin, Ambre Noir initially gives me Chanel Allure Homme vibes, so I was surprised not to see it up there. Up close is a little more deep and dark than CAH, so the comparison stops when your nose touches you. For the price, I'd say it's a worthwhile addition to your collection. Pretty versatile for office wear or anything besides mid-summer heat. Overall rating: 8/10.

HOLY SHIT this stuff is underrated! Really smooth, high quality smell. Smells way more expensive than it actually is. It gives me the feel of Boss Bottled, YSL Tuxedo, D&G The One and even PDM Layton. Ambre Nuit could be considered as a unisex fragrance in my opinion. Damn this is GOOD! For only $30! Above average performance, but not beast mode. An absolute must-have for the price.

This is a really nice pick up. It reminds me of Ferrari Amber Essence mixed in with Boss Bottled. The stars are the amber and patchouli, with the apple adding to its charm. If you like amber dominant fragrances there’s a good chance you will like this one. Happy to have this in my collection. Not a beast but with its relative low price, good bang for buck.

This is definitely a night time scent. .very rich and heavy! The price has since went up in the states if you can find it grab it..this a dark suit type of fragrance. This has a Byredo type of feel to it. It's a dark ambre that dries down to a light pineapple and Saffron type scent and it projects like crazy..if u can find it get it!

I have the feeling once one or two popular youtube reviewers do a video on Ambre Noir the prices will jump. IMO the entire Adnan B. line should be bought while the prices are so low, the quality of all three fragrances is excellent. Check them out!!

Inexpensive and opens kinda like CAH with spices. Does start abit harsh and abrasive to be honest. Apple sweetness too. The reviews and ratings below gave the scent better reviews than it's actually worth. Juice quality too rough

I love it. I dislike patchouli when not blended perfectly. It is blended perfectly here. Dark gentle syrupy excellence. It truly smells thick. Price to quality ratio is amazing. Near perfection.

The smell is great.. like expensive fragrance. Its similar to armani code profumo, with less sweet. Overall i like it. Performance is very good. Above average - very good.

When I smell this, I think of an east african autumn. Smoky vanilla. Erotic sex. Mogadishu 1980. Enlightning but also makes me feel the darkness.

Very impressive. I found it like Tom Ford Noir, but much better longevity and sillage to.

A very good smell for daily use, but the opening is a bit generic, sharp and synthetic. Later after an hour the notes become well toned and warm. This is when you get the most out of it. To me it smells good and versatile. It reminds me of niche perfume, but i cant remember which one. Ladies can wear it too as the amber and patchouli are not blended to be too masculine. Cheap but smells good. I blind bought this in Munich and never regret. Lasts all day and sillage is reasonable, dont worry..

Updating on my previous review. Yes, this rings of a very similar amber accord to Halston Amber, in a good way. BUT, I am also finding this to be in some ways almost identical (tho a bit sweeter) to another really nice (and more costly + harder to find) Amber: John Varvatos Platinum. If you like Varvatos, you will like this one, and for longer - as it doesn't suffer from the Varvatos longevity curse...

In a few words, this is a darker, more rounded version of Halston Man Amber. It's a bit sweeter and less mineralic, and also longer lasting. Can't decide how I feel about it, though. Seems like it's missing something... cedar, maybe?

This is a nice scent. The opening reminds me of ''Armani Attitude'', the dry down to ''Prada Ambre pour homme Intense'', but a lighter/more versatile version. Great for an evening out.

Its a 25$ fragrance.. in my opinion its not as the reviews here says there is nothing to wow about.. its spicy vanilla fragrance which I use when im going to the near by store or to mcdonalds or i spray it when i have no plans and staying at home and do not want to waste my good perfumes.. but still, it smells better than its price but i dont see my self wear it if i have plans to meet friends or loved ones or any occasion..

I don't know if there was a conspiracy to game the rating here but this juice ain't even above average, no Sir. I get the association to appley Boss Bottled/#6, the to-me headache inducing chemical swill. Less do I understand the comparisons to The One EDP or Pure Havane and Malt. In its heart this concoction isn't quite as bad as #6 but it's no-where near the quality nor as good a composition as the latter which are well-above average fragrances. First Prize: my 15 ml. decant for US$9. Second Prize: a full 100 ml. bottle for US$28. I rate this a 5/10 overall, giving it the benefit of the doubt as just crossing the line into "average."

This smells great but there is something in here that makes me nauseous. It might be the patchouli maybe?

Love at first sniff, don't have enough experience with this scent for an in depth review but I picked this up from LuxeGroup on Amazon for $31.50. Presentation isn't anything extravagant but the cap does snap in place tight. The bottle is hefty. The glass is thick. The sprayer feels a tad cheap but there's branding on it which is a nice touch. The sprayer dispersion is average at best. The juice though. On first spray I swear I feel similarities to the opening of pure havane, sure a little more synthetic and a lot more airy but the same vibe. But man so far all I can say for this scent is minimal alcohol smell at the beginning, smooth, airy, sweet, young, very well blended, strong. I'm going to wear this for a couple weeks and update my review but let me tell you the very little hype this scent is getting is very real. Do not sleep on this fragrance. Get it while it's cheap! Will be updating my experience in a few weeks! Update: I no longer get any similarities to pure havane. Initially I get a strong blast of what reminds me of apple brandy. The herbal spice and amber slowly creep their way into the fragrance which gives the whole scent a creamy masculine depth and that is mostly what you get. Eventually the apple fades and you are left with the amber herbal spice combo. Performance is okay it doesn't project far after the first 45 minutes but anyone that gets in your personal space for the next few hours it will smell very intense to them. Great smell and average to above average performance. Worth more than what you pay.

Ambre Noir by Adnan B. SCENT: IMO Is a cross between Dolce & Gabanna The One EDP & Hugo Boss Bottled. I clearly smell fruitiness of from Boss Bottled & the Amber which is surprisingly realistic & high quality reminds me of the Amber in Dolce & Gabanna One EDP. Ambre Noir's Dry Down is very Woodsy Fruity & Amber Heavy, yet stands on it's own despite cloning Christian Dior's Ambre Nuit, it's A Great Men's Fragrance. PERFORMANCE: AWESOME... The color of the juice is Dark Brown & 4 Sprays will Easily get you 6-8 Hours w/ awesome Sillage throughout... O yea and the Price is $28.00 USD (Shipped) I predict this will be the next Bergamotto Marino by Gianfranco Ferre in terms of how it started out at $18 USD & is now price gouged HARD on Ebay! Bergamatto Marino is an Amazing Neroli Aquatic of Niche Quality which became difficult to find when Gianfranco Ferre ultimately pulled the plug... I highly recommend you buy this while it's $28 (Shipped) and have this wonderful Winter Fragrance in your rotation...

Ok, so I have Adnan B. Ambre Noir on one hand and Dior Ambre Nuit on the other and make no mistake about it, Ambre Noir by Adnan is simply better. It’s a better performer, better value and scent profile. It’s identical to Dior’s offering in the opening, but they go their separate ways soon after. Wtbs, I love Dior Ambre Nuit, but Ambre Noir is the superior fragrance here. Prices are creeping up so I would definitely buy a bottle before the price becomes astronomical if you are reading this. My bottle was in the mid $20 range and it’s at $50 a month later. I also have Adnan B. Man and they’re both phenomenal imo.Very elegant and not obnoxiously loud. I’d even go as far as to say they smell near niche or high end designer at minimum. One thing is for sure it doesn’t smell like a $20 or $50 fragrance at all.

Ambre noire is less expensive in my country so I prefer it over club extreme. decent longevity and sillage for the price. It's more suitable for formal occasions. I liked the flacon and package. Test before buy recommended. Tested it again, It's definitely similar to Mercedes Benz Club Extreme.

Ambre Noir is worthy of a blind purchase while prices are relatively inexpensive( it’s only a matter of time). I’d even venture to say Ambre Noir is borderline niche quality minus the first minute.It’s definitely one of the best designer Amber scents out imo. Personally it’s about as perfectly unisex as you can get, but I only see a bold, extremely well dress woman wearing this. Men should also not wear Ambre Noir casual imo as well. You should not have a tshirt on when wearing this as I feel it wouldn’t do this fragrance justice. If I were to casually wear this I would definitely keep it on the darker side of colors as well as pair the ensemble with a blazer. That’s just my preference which honestly should be taken with a grain of salt.

This is wonderful. I found this while scrolling through the Geparlys website since I also love all of their offerings, yet they’re nowhere to be found on here? So far I’ve managed to collect all but one of the I am the King line, now all of these other than Noir, and working my way through Gemina B. I don’t know how all of these fly under the radar like they do but the whole offering is wonderful!

First on, 100% men’s cologne with that bergamot apple hit. Nice, fresh, crisp, masculine. Orange blossom and vanilla come in the mellow it down to creamy, but the bergamot bite keeps it masculine throughout. I was hoping for a more unisex scent since the notes sound wonderful, but it wears a touch too masculine on me, even though I do often wear men's scents.

Completely shocked by the quality of this juice, it's like a mix between Tom Ford Noir EDP and D&G The One EDP. Beautiful scent regarding its affordable price. Beast mode!
