U from Adolfo Dominguez is a non-offensive woody fragance that smells very clean. I received U as a gift many years ago, when I was a teenager, and I remember thinking of it as a fresh scent, quite citric and sharp at the beginning, with a dominating sandalwood note at the dry-down. Many many years after, I still have some left and decided it was time to finish the bottle. But now, it may have started turning (that, or my olfative memory is deceiving me) since the citric starting-phase has disappeared. This fact actually pressed me more towards the decision to finish the bottle. Right now I notice some berries at the beginning, mixed with sandalwood, but in a few minutes it is all about sandalwood, roses and cedar. I'm sure the dry-down still remains the same. For me the sillage is moderate, but generously applied it easily becomes heavy, leaving a trail of this EDT wherever I go. While for many Ralph brings back school memories, U and some colognes are the scent of my teenage days. I still see it in perfume shops, so it shouldn't be difficult to find. In my opinion, it can be worn by young people and by not so young people. It surely isn't a "typical teenage fragance". It has character and doesn't go unnoticed.

My mom has it and damn it smells intense... It lasts soo long and the sillage is huge. But unfortunately i hate the scent even though my mom loves it.

sparkling-fresh (not like air-freshner)-clean-watery (not like Cool Water)flowers, with a hint of spices, warmer but still clean at the dry-down. Just love it!
