Rendez-vous Gourmand

Not the parfume of the year, but just sweet and fruity enough to be fun and easy, without being too high school girl. The macaron’s idea is there, pinkish, rose-grenadine, melting in the mouth, but not like if I was a cake sitting in the fridge. It’s still wearable and cloudy. Nice I-don’t-care-today fragrance for a day off, assumed regressive time. It doesn’t project a lot, something I like when I feel tired and urgently selfish.

For me, this perfume is incredebly sweet on first spray, but settles a bit down after a few minutes. It is still very sweet but less pungent. Personally I smell a very very faint hint of patchouli, but the vanilla and lychee stand out to me the most. Although it does smell quite fresh, I think it would be too sweet and overwhelming for a hot summer day.

I've been sampling a few of Adopt's roses and this is probably the only one that lasts longer than 30mn on skin. This is mainly a macaron gourmand. I guess the idea was to emulate Akro Crush. The scent itself is actually nicer than Crush IMO, but the longevity, even though it's better than most Adopts, is still pretty bad.

Der Duft startet mit einer leichten, frischen Note, die sofort angenehm auffällt. Nach kurzer Zeit entfalten sich weichere, warme Nuancen, die dem Ganzen eine besondere Tiefe geben. Er ist unaufdringlich und passt perfekt in den Alltag, hält aber trotzdem lange an. Ein Duft, der gleichzeitig dezent und elegant wirkt.
