I have this newer version of Rose Noire, I wished i could smell the older one, but its beautiful, ambery, peppery, jammy and soapy rose with wood, subtle dirty, animalic, patchouli undertones... its a bit too sweet for me/for warmer weather, I remember the top note being orange in the shop where I bought it? I'm not sure though. I'm okay with the hint of vanilla, much less with the hint of fruit. Its simple but deep, I need to wear it more to make myself a more detailed opinion on it, but its definitely dark and deep. I associate it with the feeling of doing something irresistible. Never smelled Juliette Has A Gun's Lady Vengeance but i feel like it would be slightly close to this? At least in my imagination.
