Vanille Coco

Caution: Confusingly, there are multiple "Vanille Coco" perfumes by Adopt. This page is about the tobacco variant, but my initial review and signature scent selection were meant to refer to the sweet one. Some stores have one and others the other one available, but only the manufacturer's online shop seems to have both in one place. Tobacco variant: Well, upon ordering the other variety, I finally get the description on this page. They definitely, very clearly share the same DNA, but this one is more of a... imagine a middle manager lady applying the sweet variant on her wrist and neck out of a travel sprayer. Not to refresh what she had been wearing originally... in the morning she had put on something fresh white floral from the 90s. She then grabs a foundation box out of her purse, to have a close look in the little mirror to see whether her makeup needs a touch up after a brief, interrupted romantic encounter... with fingers smelling of fresh tobacco from having rolled herself a cigarette sometime earlier. She puts the cigarette in her mouth, pulls in air through it, flicks the wheel on a lighter, habitually guarding from wind, although it's a hot summer day, not windy at all and watches as few sparks come out, but no flame, as there wasn't any gas left. She exhales through nose, before trying again... so yeah, it's like the sweet variant, but with a hint of acqua di gio pour femme and the fresh tobacco is stronger. However, in drydown the vanillin begins to stand out and smell harsh and cheap, whereas in the sweet version it remains creamy and smooth. Sweet variant: There's this cheap coconut shampoo from Action that smells absolutely amazing and is strongly cleansing, but leaves hair rather unmanageable. This smells similarly but even better. I love it on my hair. I spray it on hairbrush and every time a gust of wind blows hair into my face, I get a pleasant reminder of it. Smells exactly like the name suggests. Vanilla and sweet coconut. It's a milestone in my olfactory journey and a first as a signature. I've found it, the signature! Just for hair though... and it actually broadens the range of what I might wear (layer) for my main scent, as this satisfies my desire for sweet vanilla notes. Haven't tried Gary Spongebob yet, but this one brings me close to believing the legends that surround it.

It is fresh and sweet at the same time. I can smell tobacco too, I may say it is unusual vanilla scent, interesting one.

Vanilla - coco. So sexy. Linear, perfect for summer! I really like it and the value is very very good.

Smells like an air freshener or a shampoo. And it's all coconut, I didn't get any hind of vanilla. Disappointed tbh. I was promised a creamy vanilla with coconut, not this.

This is surprisingly good. It smells like coconut ice cream. It’s really sensual, the coconut smells natural and it’s not sickening sweet. Really pleasant!
