Wow....I found a .24 oz parfum for $8 at a local perfume outlet in the mall. Now how can you pass that up? The top smells almost exactly like Shalimar (current version EDT) to me with a hint of green herb. Slightly powdery lemon drink but I get more orange in this one, it seems crisper and there's no vanilla. I'm into the drydown and I've got to say I'm loving this stuff! Musky jasmine with that little bit of citrus....mmmmm.... My only criticism...even in the parfum concentration it doesn't last very long. But it's lovely while it lasts!

I wore this years ago, it was a gorgeous nutty amber with citrus in the top notes. It was one of the first Super sexy fragrances I owned and it smelled very sophisticated and tempered at the same time it was clean and sexy. To my nose I don't get the comparisons to Shalimar which smells like lemon pledge + vanilla extract on my skin. This is sexier and more complex.

Woody, floral musk is what I experience with this fragrance. Nothing oriental about it unless you want to liken it to the genteel, quiet nature I like to associate to many Asian ladies, old and young alike. It has wonderful longevity and retains its woody sweetness at least 6 hours. Decidedly feminine. Worth a try.

My favorite of the late 90s early 2000s. I thought I didn't like orientals but this one is light enough and I love it. I'm hoarding my last bottle.

I don't quite love this perfume, but it's become very high on my Like meter. I can see how some people describe this as masculine, it does have that sort of impact, but very lightly so, without the vetiver, lavender and other things common in men's juices that this one doesn't have. I love the mandarin and lemon on top of the jasmine, musk and other base notes. I find it's kind of a pick-me-up perfume, I always feel better when I put this on. It's feminine without smelling like a flower garden, and comfortable to wear. It's what I'd consider a good summer oriental, not too heavy or sweet to wear in the summer, but great for any season. Unique too, I don't really have anything else like it in my collection.
