Innocence In A Scent

This is beautiful! I don’t understand some of the negative reviews but if you don’t have a well trained and experienced nose you may not understand this one. The coconut, orris and almond on the top are strong and very powdery in the beginning, but if you wait about 1/2 hour the vanilla and tonka bean come along for a more blended and nuanced treat, then sandalwood pulls it all together for a really stunning perfume. It’s not for everyone but I really love it, (even though I’m not a big powdery note fan). If anyone wants to try it I can decant in 5ml or 10ml glass bottles to anyone in the U.S.

So lovely! Such a warm scent, delightfuly rosy... At first sniff it is juicy by peach and mild by the almonds. The bergamot adds spiciness only a bit. Very quickly almonds combines itself with coconut and powdery notes. It is a nice developing and rose comes to the fore. I like it with a peacefull, sweet vanilla. The base stays for a long time in musk-cedar shape, slightly milky by coconut. Reverberations of previous notes is quiet, which is a pity. The natural skin aroma consumes it and make it intimate. Amazing perfume, gracefuly composed, only very decent. The price for using etical product. However I belive that it is convincing and this soft, dainty fragrance deserves high rating.

So happy that I ordered the discovery set. This reminds me so much of my beloved and discontinued Nuit de Iles by Bissoumine. A tropical, frangipani, creamy dreamy light skin-scent that smells and is made from natural ingredient. It last pretty long, at least on my skin. The beginning is a bit more citrus/bubblegum-like, but fades very quickly and turns into this lovely scent. Will definitely get a bottle of this. It is wonderful to see these perfumes are made cruelty-free from natural ingredients and so far all the samples I have tried, smells well-balanced and beautiful. Thanks Aemium! <3

Interesting combo of fresh, powdery, metallic and musky notes. It’s hard to describe this fragrance but it definitely has some magnetic and also calming qualities.

I get mostly a gentle coconut with this, a bit powdery with a bitter edge. It's not very strong and sits close to the skin. Overall, it's not bad but I don't like the bitterness I get once I've applied it to my skin. I do think this an interesting scent for a natural perfume, which can be very difficult to make into something pleasant and distinctive.

This smells like... Mop water? I don't exactly get dirty diaper as the review below, however this smells as if someone spilled a generic perfume on a dirty table than wiped it off with a dish rag into a bottle. I'm very confused by this scent because I don't get any of the notes listed, it just smells like a confusing, unpleasant mess.

Innocent by name, innocent by nature, Aemium are a genuinely ecologically minded brand who don't use bleached paper n even the caps are recyclable, made of aluminium. They worry about EVERYTHING. Good for them. The only 'bad' thing here is the plastic spray pump for which no alternatives exist. Splash then?? I hear you shout but yeah but no but.. splash is always unsatisfying isn't it? Also 99% of their ingredients are of natural origin, 74% are organic certified, seems a shame not to fully enjoy them sprayed properly. Is Aemium latin for caring? Google translate was unhelpful n I didn't go to a posh school so someone else needs to help out there. Anyway, this is lovely, soft n fluffy, like the little woodland creatures it wants to protect, it's kind n cuddly & probly goes to church n does charity work as well. (Maybe not at this price range..) Peach & powder predominate, specifically rice powder, this doesn't smell like make-up to me like you might expect, it's more a gourmand kind of powderyness but it's not overly sweet either, this is good for you in every way so it def won't give you diabetes. The coconut flies under the peach n rice but I can just about detect it if I really try. But do not try, it says, just relax. The ambrette weaves around like a little lamb, the vanilla is never aggressive pudding, but a smooth balm. There is something almost savoury here but I don't know what specifically. Overall lovely little offering. It's vegan obvs. Float away smelling AND feeling innocent x Very long lasting on skin btw, & has permeated my bedroom where I sprayed originally! It may be pricey but you getting your money's worth here.

This fragrance is revolting. I could not scrub it off fast enough and its persistence was dumbfounding despite several washings. It literally made me gag. All I picked up was a soiled diaper covered up with Johnsons Baby Lotion (pink bottle). What a disappointment. Do NOT pass GO. If you insist on torturing yourself then get a sample first. Consider yourself warned.

I agree with the last review, this indeed is a very calming scent.. I love to wear to bed after a long day and a hot shower.. so enveloping and soothing
