Evening Rose D'Or

I definitely like d’or version better than the regular evening rose. This one is richer, slightly sweeter, somewhat jammy, more well-rounded. It is more alluring.

I am not a rose person generally but found this at a v good price and I quite enjoy many Aerins so could not pass it by. Its a very deep, sweet, slightly to my nose musky rose, musc is not listed as notes but keeps coming through. Its quite heavy, like a very sweet rose would be, its the deep honey note which creates this. Very sweet on dry down, but rose sweet not vanilla sweet. There is a certain autumnal slight mustiness to this also, typical to many rose scents. Deep, spicy, honeyed rose. Gorgeous golden see through flacon, luxury silk slip to bed.

sweet rose with some fruity blackberry that makes it a bit jammy; that's it; reminds me of a weaker version of all the rose oud fragrances out there many done better. Not worth the price. Pretty but derivative. Rose is my fave note. I am a rose lover. As this dries down, I stand on the top. Pretty linear. Sweet rose and blackberry, a bit jammy but with rose in control turning it a bit sour and reminds of a rose-oud astringent fragrances without the oud but with an oily smokey, gassiness. This grows on me as it dries and develops.

This is a delicious, softly-sweet rose, very sophisticated and delicate. The drydown almost had me disappointed when I started to notice a musty old dried roses note. But at closer sniff it was just that the sweetness had faded somewhat, leaving behind a soft balsamic rose gently drizzled in honey. If you are a rose fan looking for something a little different, this one is for you!

This is a more easier wearing, softer version of Oud Satin Mood. It’s fruitier and more feminine leaning as Oud Satin Mood is unisex.
