Rose de Grasse d'Or

It smells like a HUGE bouquet of flowers. That’s literally it 😂. But it’s so beautiful. On the edge of “old lady” -ish though.

I like perfume scents that are on the heavier side, and even though I would not have guessed that an oud note was present it’s probably the thing that helps Rose de Grasse perform. Rose is dominant until you get to the end of the dry down. Then I do think this scent takes a turn for the worse after a few hours (and I agree with Bachi below) —the synthetics overpower. For some reason I thought this was going to be a watery, thin rose but the opaque gold bottle is a giveaway that this scent is not meant for hot weather, and I didn’t see it because I’m wearing a manufacturers sample. I believe this line sells in Nordstrom and Sephora, and the retail price is too much for what you get in return.

This perfume smells ok at first, then it smells cheap and like plastic chemicals. It is overpowering once a couple of hours go by, and definitely not in a good way. This line of perfumes is not worth the money.
