Tuberose Gardenia

This smells almost exactly the same to me as Estée Lauder's original Tuberose Gardenia in their Private Collection line. It is still a heady gardenia and tuberose scent, but it isn't as strong or as long lasting as the original Tuberose Gardenia fragrance, sadly. Aerin Lauder's Tuberose Gardenia lasts about 5 hours on me and it has medium sillage on me as well. The cost is higher too, so I don't really think that this is as good a deal as the old fragrance and it feels like a greedy move on Estée Lauder's part. I'd still probably buy it again though and I will always love this fragrance. The lily, the jasmine and the lilac are also very prominent in the notes of this perfume and it is like being in a lush garden wearing this fragrance. Aerin Lauder's Tuberose Gardenia is a beautiful and feminine fragrance for a classy lady and it would be perfect to wear during and summer days. I give this a 9.5/10.

To me, this is exactly the same as EL’s PC TG, which I have been wearing several times the past week. I sprayed Aerin’s today, and it reads the same. Happy because I have been running out of EL’s. I also know that, however, every single batch even for the same perfume will be different because of the ingredients, where they were sourced, what the weather was like, etc. I am glad TG is not discontinued only to be replaced with an inferior product. Update: 08/02/2025 TG is so gorgeous. I have always thought carnation adds something extra without overpowering the rest of the composition.

I have a full sample of it. Very photorealistic and lightweight. It's almost identical to my full size Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia but that one is a tad more cloying, has stronger sillage and lasts longer. And the notes listed here are all wrong. On the site it's just Tuberose, Gardenia and Vanilla but I don't get Vanilla at all. This is lush and green not powdered or sweetened. It's perfect and pure without burning alcohol sifting through. Would definitely buy.

From the new description of this on the Estée Lauder website it appears to be a repackaging of the original Estée Lauder Tuberose Gardenia fragrance that Aerin Lauder worked on, now rebadged under Aerin Lauder’s current label. Hopefully there’s no change to the delicious juice inside - ELTG is/was an absolute classic, the most photorealistic gardenia scent I’ve ever found in my endless hunt for the perfect gardenia scent.

I have always hated strong Gardenia fragrances So old lady'ish!..is what I used to think. Maybe its because Im older, I don't know but I smelled this one and fell in love ! Its a beautiful Gardenia &Tuberose scent, so gorgeous for summer. I layred this with Hibiscus palm and it just works beautifully!

This fragrance reminds me of Bond No 9 Gardenia, but better. It's not as creamy. It's beautiful and bright. When I think of Spring, this is that perfume. The longevity for me is about 4 hours. I received a sample at Dillard's and went and bought it.

I would perfectly see this perfume on Princess Catherine of Wales 🌼🦋. It's the epitome of elegance and it gives classy vibes, with a hint of gracefulness. It would be perfect on Princess Catherine ❤️

A lovely scent. and one of my favourites.

I have admired this fragrance since I discovered it working on a cosmetics floor in my early twenties. It smells to me like smelling an actual gardenia flower in a garden. I have come across it again later on life and think it’s just a special fragrance. I have decided to purchase it for my collection now in in my late thirties because I feel mature enough for it. Knowing the notes now I can understand why I like it so much with the tuberose and vanilla making the fragrance sweeter and I enjoy jasmine too. The new aerin formulation is actually a more wearable option for me. Lovely to have it in the collection.

Beautifully floral. The best floral perfume. Sprayed on my sweater last week and it's still there. Recommended to do a step-in spray.

Close to original, but not the lavish intensity of the Private Collection Original. More citrus forward. Does not have the sillage or longevity of the original. Still a very lovely fragrance. 3 hours longevity on my skin. Lacks that bit of gritty animalistic quality that the original had; that endured for at least 12 hours. The Lauder people claim it's the exact same fragrance, and it's just another rendition. Aerins' new mediterranean honeysuckle figue, is quite interesting, however longevity is always lacking in this line. They obviously do not read the reviews.

I absolutely hated it - spelt rather cheap and dried down like an expensive soap. My daughter said the same thing!

I tried this and don't believe it is a recent reformulation, it just appears to be a repackaging and rebranding of the same fragrance. There has been a slight price increase, but the EL website has even merged the reviews for both fragrance versions and the original bottle is showing as out of stock. I'm happy with the change- I wasn't a fan of the Estee Lauder bottle as the shape was angular and awkward to hold whereas the Aerin bottles are simple, sophisticated and sit nicely in the hand. It's a beautiful perfume.

I finally got a chance to test this and I find very green, floral, but green. In a good way. I really like it. I could see myself wearing this in spring or summer only except I have a very bad taste in my mouth with EL having been lied to by them when I asked if Beautiful had been reformulated. I know that it was because I burned through many bottles of the original in the 80's and what they are shilling now is a million percent reformulated into a freaking disaster. Don't lie to me EL.

This perfume is perfect for a signature scent! I love white florals and wanted to buy Love Tuberose by Amouage, but it can a bit nauseating in the heat due to being thick and creamy. This is very similar, but without the heaviness from the whipped cream and buttery petals. Smells timeless and elegant, like a women in white. I’ve never seen this line talked about and the quality is good, very well blended. I wonder sometimes if influencers like to gate keep perfumes like this.

I will start by saying I love Tuberose and I love Gardenia but OMG i smelled this yesterday in Fenwick and it was FOUL, absolutely disgusting! I instantly regretted spraying it on my hand, absolutely vomit inducing! It's a hard pass for me.

This is wonderful! A no nonsense white floral perfume for sophisticated grown-ups. It has great longevity as well, one spray stays close to the skin. Will test this in the autumn again.

It seems that this perfume is being offered only in the US or the UK with no shipping to Europe. I wonder what is behind it - banned ingredients?
