Tuberose Le Jour

Such a fantastic and underrated perfume. So underrated and not talked about, that YouTube barely has any reviews on it. In my opinion it’s a hidden gem. I usually don’t like the note of tuberose at all, and this is the only tuberose fragrance I own since I love it so much. It starts with a blast of tuberose mixed with Jasmin and orange flower, but if you wait for the dry down (about and hour or so) ohhh.. that’s where the magic happens. when the cashmere wood and cedar wood kick in, it becomes floral, airy, youthful, crisp and ethereal. All and all it’s a beautiful and elegant white floral perfume that fits all ages. Very very pricy but in my opinion worth the price. One of the best from the house of Aerin and performance is great too (as opposed to the rest of Aerin fragrances with the translucent bottle).

I'd call this perfume a woody tuberose scent in the same vein as Estée Lauder Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia, but without the gardenia note and a touch more woodiness like Tubéreuse Nue by Tom Ford. There's a hint of neroli and orange blossom at the top too that lends some citrus sweetness and tartness, but it isn't a dominant note here. This is first and foremost a lovely and non-indolic jasmine with incredible longevity and moderate-strong sillage. I'd recommend it as a scent that one could wear for a cocktail party or an early dinner. It has sunset vibes for some weird reason to me. Maybe like the sweet flowers on the branches closing their buds on the trees at night.

This is an absolutely stunning light tuberose, so ultra feminine, delicate and bridal. You know that tuberose can be very heavy and headache inducing (for example as the sister Tuberose le soir of Aerin). Tuberose le joir is an exception. Light for everyday use and sensual for a date night. If you know Chanel Gardenia from les exclusifs - the way the Chanel feminity is shining through - this Aerin will give you a similar vibe. I've seen many similar smelling (more expensive) brands launching something similar, but Aerin is crafted to a perfection.

You can trust Olivier Cresp to deliver the goods and he did this time again! It is a stunning composition, very floral, clean, realistic and natural. It feel as if he captured the essence of orange blossom and tuberose, and let them honor each other (the tuberose is definately main character though). Aerin and Olivier is a match made in the floral heavens.

I don't think it should be as ridiculously expensive as it is, BUT - this is the best tuberose perfume I have ever smelled. I love it. I ordered a bottle from Estee Lauder online, minus 15% for signing up for their email list. It *actually* smells like tuberose, the flowers, themselves. I adore it. It's good. Very, very good.

It’s lovely, illuminating yet creamy tuberose. It’s not heavy but captivating. I think I will layer this with linear rose; will likely work pretty well. Update 4/15/2023. I sprayed again a month later, and now I love it. I really don’t get much woody notes. It’s this intoxicating lush floral. Makes me happy.

Just received a sample of this, I'm in love and in heaven. Good God this is beautiful. I looked into buying a large bottle 3.4 Oz. $550.00. Oh well, sample was nice. LoL.

Tuberose Le Jour is a very beautiful white floral fragrance! My mom had it and I even wear it!

Wow... creamy , lush, opulent tuberose. The opening is creamy almost beach like, and Tom Ford Orchid Soleil comes to mind. However, Aerin Tuberose le Jour is, as the name says, a flower for daytime; It manages to stay polite and not overtly in your face as in Bandit or Truth or Dare, to name two heady, headache inducing tuberoses. This one is mixed with a fresh orange blossom a tad of gardenia and a non-indolic jasmine. A lovely spring garden on our skin, with as interesting warm creamy cedar and musc base. Very very similar to ELPC Tuberose Gardenia in the drydown (being ELPC a tad stronger, or more concentrated if you like) and also in the veins of Elie Saab Essence Tuberose. Lovely by all means, if it weren't for that hefty price tag...

The opening smells a bit medicinal, later i get a very pretty, oily tuberose. It is a simple but elegant and sensual fragrance. It is a high quality scent and projects very well in the first hour. Tuberose Le Jour is one of the best tuberose scents i’ve ever smelled. White florals fans will surely like it. I could not stop smelling my hand today. I imagine a rich woman, classy but carefree wearing it to an luxurious daytime event. I am exited to smell this perfume again. Final note:10/10

Tuberose is to perfume what merlot is to wine. When it dominates, it has to be the best of its type to win people over. At first smell I thought it might be a winner, but as the orange blossom fades away it's just another tuberose (or merlot). So whilst it's a "like" from me, I'm not going to pay the inflated "Premier" label price. I will stick with Lilac Path, which smells so divine and has great longevity at almost half the price.

This is lovely. The orange blossom and neroli mellow out the tuberose and really make this a lovely floral for day. I could do without the cedar base note. I recommend trying this. I think you'll be a trendsetter and this is a unique signature perfume because it's new and not many people will be wearing it.

This is a very good fresh tuberose; it's much more realistic on paper (almost comparable to Roja!) while more rounded and muffled on skin. Unfortunately the brand decided it's somehow worth twice the price to compete with the luxury market -_-

This review is from the mini splash. I wanted so much to love this one because I love tuberose as a note, and I love Erin’s tuberose body cream. However, something strange happens on me. Very quickly (within minutes or less), the tuberose fades to the background, and I get an unpleasant woody note. It doesn’t smell like cedar nor cashmere woods. It smells more like amberwood to me, my nemesis note. Since it’s not listed as one of the notes, perhaps it’s just an effect that’s created from other notes, but I am finding more and more perfumes using amberwood to give depth and more staying power. Since so many others love this one, I’m going to assume it just behaves oddly for me, but I’ll be re-homing my minis of this and Tuberose Le Soir. I have them multiple chances with no success. I like Aerin as a House, but these two are firm no’s.

I adore tuberose, and I really like woody scents. However, after the dry down on me there is very little tuberose left. What remains is a very strange note that I'm not sure what is. It dominates the other notes completely and I just can't hack it. I would say, even if you love tuberose, this isn't a safe blind buy. Test first.

This somehow becomes very smoky on me, like ripe, blossoming tuberose set alight on a pile of rubbery wood chips. I love it though - rich and vibrant, and a genuine fresh flower scent with a deep woody base, and a sense of genuine plant life and moisture in the earth. I have received so many compliments on this one today. Have had it on 7 hours now and it's still very alive on my skin and doubly so on my clothes. Catch whiffs float by off my top constantly. I admit I was gifted this. It's such a full and complex scent but I would not pay the full price. It's unique to be sure, more along niche lines, but the price is probably outside what I'd be comfortable with.

For me this is one of the best Tuberose fragrance that I can wear it every day, it's opening with fresh tuberose (I can swear that this smell really likes a real tuberose that I can smell from the flower market) it has a hint of orange blossom but tuberose still plays the leading role for me. It may be almost gone in 5 hours but when the wind blew my neck I still smell it in a pretty way, so I love it so much. To compare with Estee Lauder "Tuberose Gardenia" I can find some similar feeling but it was just 5%. For me, I put Tuberose Le Jour higher above the Tuberose Gardenia but I still love both of them.

@annxyz: you contradict yourself... the reviews indicate your own findings... then why don't you believe any of the reviews?... "I do not believe any of these reviews . I am wondering how helpful this site is when reviews are not credible. Every scent I have sampled of this line is weak and indistinct. The reviews indicate the same." Furthermore, the review of scents is very subjective because we smell different elements and perfumes come out differently on people's skin... so you cannot talk about "credibility"...

I blind bought this since it was half price on LF, and I’ve always wanted a perfume from Aerin but never wanted to pay full price. My first impression is that it smells just like Elie Saab Le Parfum. The difference comes in the dry down, where Le Parfum is rosy and sweet, while Tuberose Le Jour is citrusy and animalic. Le Parfum has better sillage. But of course Tuberose Le Jour smells more luxurious. But I wouldn't repurchase.

I got a sample of Tuberose Jour and decided to try it. The opening is lovely sweetened white floral with slight peppery feel, but the dry down was almost a Tuberose soliflore (if that were possible.) It is elegant, and long-lasting, but I would say for something similar that is cheaper, go with Prada La Femme (which is more complex and sensual), or Alexander McQueen if you are craving heavy Tuberose. For me, I’ll pass.

To my nose it is a wonderful, feminine and elegant scent - tuberose, neroli and orange flower well blended. This olfactive bliss lasts for about 5 minutes - (on me) - then it quickly fades into a skin scent, barely detectable within half an hour. Considering the hefty price tag it is simply not performing well enough, unfortunately..

A better quality, smoother version of EL Modern Muse (the first one). Tuberose le jour smells good, more natural than the latter. Has moderate sillage and longevity though, especially for its price point. Would buy if I had unlimited resources:)

You can't obtain tuberoses for floral arrangements in most areas so nobody knows what they smell like. This smells nicely floral, pure, like all of Aerin's creations. I am hoping she uses real ingredients, not synthetics.

At first this goes on light and odd like an ice cube that has melted in water but then florals start to bloom into creamy woods I enjoy this very much

very beautiful fragrance! a perfect combination of white flowers ... I want a large bottle:( the smell remains for a long time...This is lovely
