Burner Perfume No 3: Inuus

Heart notes of indolic sambac jasmine absolute, sensual Moroccan rose absolute and musky soft neroli absolute are missing above. According to the Nose sumac is a base-note and not the central theme of this perfume. It celebrates all that is languid sensual and erotic in humanity alembicated into a 66% natural 45% parfum/extrait in a skin nourishing oil based carrier fluid. Amber's perfumes all shimmer and shine before melting into skin, conditioning even while wafting wondrously, before surrounding you in a scent-cloud that's neither cloying not too wispy. This (Inuus) is a sublime unisex scent that's as natural and pagan as it is proper perfume...and a damn good one at that. Spicy enough to entice floral enough to beguile, Inuus ends up a superb earthy Woody musk that warms with it's scent but also its olfactive memory. One that recollects somewhere primordial-lingering in the warmth that exists between love longing and lust making each seem integral to the others. This is the scent of a tawdry tryst with a demigod, dryad or BOTH! Just gorgeous... Sillage: soft to moderate Longevity: above average Overall: 4/5 Fertility was the Burning Man theme the year Amber released this one. Creating a perfume inspired by the god (and act) of copulation is as inspired as it was on point. ROCK CLIMBING You may be wondering why the title? I've never been rock climbing and I never will. Why? Much too challenging for me. And zero desire Same with this fragrance. I applaud all artisan fragrance creators and enthusiasts. However, this was on the 'stinky' side of challenging. I wish I could be more articulate and list notes and images. No can do. I'll leave that up to someone with a more expert nose. This nose says no.
