Solaer

I was at DSM Paris testing mostly CDG fragrances, then I decided to look around and in a corner facing the wall, there was a shelf with Aether's lineup, it really intrigued me, the bottles looked super cool, loved the names, price is really fair, so I tested most of them and Solaer completely blew me away it hit me in such a specific nostalgic memory spot, a scent/flavor I've been trying to find for years ever since I was a kid/teenager, because this fragrance smells almost exactly like those colored plastic flavored tongue depressors that my doctor used to use, which I always loved, so glad to have finally found it again besides that, I love it as a fragrance on its own, it's super addictive, powdery, lactonic, almost sexy, soft and skin-like, a gentle vanilla with coconut that is somehow fresh and bright without being too sweet or gourmand, feels very balanced, it leans a bit feminine tho, but still very usable unisex

What a mess the ''reminds me of'' section is! First of all, on my skin, this smells NOTHING like Soleil Blanc! That is one of my all time favourite perfumes ever, however Solaer has absolutely nothing to do with it. I smell a note, I am not sure what that is, but it's animalic to the point that I almost gag. Maybe it's the dry coconut in combination with the amber. I am not saying this smells like Vanilla Powder by Matiere Premier, but it gives me the same icky feeling. I really think the coconut in that and in Solaer is dry, like coconut flakes, not creamy as in Soleil Blanc. All in all, this was dissapointing to me. 🙁
