It is a citrus scent that is very long-lasting. It is sweet, clean, and fresh. It has a bit of a sporty feel. When opened, it is very good to spray during the day. From my personal experience, I applied the lotion to the spot where I sprayed this perfume. I rode my motorcycle at 80 kilometers per hour without stopping It was 60 kilometers when I reached my destination where I still had the scent emitted as an aura around me at least 30 centimeters away. It was amazing, of course, if I walked past someone else, they would smell it or if they walked past me at that moment.I sprayed all of these at least 10 times but not more than 15 times. I produced the perfume 4 months ago and left it in the refrigerator for 1 week.Of course, when I'm done using it, I put it back in the fridge to let it sit for a really strong scent and a good setting for maximum efficiency.Yes, after mixing the perfume, you need to let the perfume ferment for at least 6 months for the best performance as it should be, the fastest fermentation you need to refrigerate.This technique is my personal technique with my own experience from trial and error. Of course, I put the bottle in the refrigerator and then I wrap it with 2 layers of tissue paper covering the entire bottle and I tie it with a rubber band to prevent moisture Or drop some water into the perfume bottle to prevent the perfume from losing its effectiveness.I know that keeping it in a dark place at 37 degrees is to preserve the perfume but I want it to be at its best so I have to refrigerate it.It is recommended that you use a decanter bottle and carry it with you when you are out and always keep your large bottle in the refrigerator.The smell is really strong because of the cold storage. I turned on the cold quite high. Out of 10, I turned it on at 8. **You can try this method and you will not be disappointed.Of course, if the factory's performance is not up to standard, even if you make the perfume at its highest efficiency, it will definitely not be satisfactory. The scent diffusion and intensity will be bad if it is not produced well.Because this method is to make the perfume show its true performance as much as possible according to production.And always remember to ferment in a glass bottle, never use plastic because the perfume will deteriorate and the Plastic will absorb the perfume smell. I really love this. It's overly bashed and hated on. Before I get into the review - I need to make it known that it's incredibly important to let a middle eastern fragrance maturate before judging it. I let it sit for quite a while. I've seen many criticize this for not lasting at all, which is a complete lie. The people who say that just haven't given it time. After maturation, this thing performs like a beast. Great projection, fills an entire small room according to my friend and his dad. (On that day, I only did one spray! It was on my wrist, and I dabbed it on the other.) Strong too. Longevity is great on my skin: This lasts strongly for 8-10 hours. The scent is honestly so impressive to me. Yes, it's a basic blue. But I'd argue it's the BEST basic blue, and that it's even better than Bleu de Chanel. It's citrusy, slightly fresh, and has a beautiful, sweet woodiness that I just adore. It's very shower gel-y. It actually reminds me of this cedar body wash that I have, but much, much better. Scent profile wise, it's a solid 9/10 for a basic blue. Yeah, it's that good. Possibly my favorite shower gel-y fragrance that I've tried. It smells like an expensive designer. And did I mention that I'd argue that it's better than Bleu de Chanel? Bleu de Chanel smells like this, but less woody and sweet, and is incredibly overpriced. Blue de Chanel is more mature, and 9am Dive is definitely more youthful. But I'm an 18 year old guy, so it's perfect for me and those around my age. If you're looking to get a nice, clean, woody, sweet blue fragrance, this is the one. If you already have blues in your collection, this is possibly redundant. But I love this, and I would buy this again when I run out. Also, this is an all-year fragrance to me. The fruitiness makes it equippable for the heat, and the sweetness and woodiness makes it nice for the colder days. It's super versatile too; I would use it for suit and tie occasions, but also for going to clases, the gym, and even as a date night fragrance. Overall rating (for a basic blue): Honestly? I'm changing that 9/10 to a 10/10. Overall rating (compared to all other fragrances I've tried): 8/10. It's good, but there's definitely better fragrances out there. And I definitely have fragrances that I enjoy more in my collection. But this is a great, mass-appealing dumb reach. I'm definitely going to wear this a lot in college.

I bounce around a lot from Niche, to designer, to budget (or clone/inspired-by). All depends on what mood I am in, I guess. This one is a part of my budget dive (lol), and it is an interesting one. Not the fragrance itself, per se. But how it wears. It is, as has been previously reported, a 'hybrid' bluey. Takes bits and pieces from a number of other popular fresh fragrances and comes up with a blend that, while not mind-blowing (that's hard to do in the bluey space), is very refreshing and performs well for a budget offering. Brighter and fresher than you'd think... It has some of all the popular blues, topped with some mint and blackcurrant making it feel higher-end than the price point would suggest. It isn't cloning anything 1-to-1, but it wears confidently and projects pretty well. Longevity on my dry-ass skin was easily above average, getting me past the 6 hour mark with ease. Overall, I really like it. My reviews/opinions are just what I take away from a fragrance, and everyone has their own criteria. I see a lot of talk of 'synthetics', but I feel like most budget, many designer, and even niche contain them. So I stay away from using that terminology as much as possible. This smells good, has good versatility, and is inexpensive. And the bottles are nice and plain. Another thing I like.

TLDR : Good blind buy, 30 euro, great performance and drydown. Smells like bleu de chanel a bit. I bought this as a blind buy simply because i needed something for the summer and wow. First impressions I got immediately in the first few sprays is BLEU DE CHANEL. On the dry down the lemon is so prominent and fresh. Very fruity fresh fragrance that i definitely see myself wearing every day for the summer. For comparison I would say this is just a way better all round version of Jimmy choo man ice? Transfer all of that musk and zest and just turn it into a fresh sweet lovely smell for a fraction of the price. The packaging came in a unique box that i dont recognise from afnan, it arrived in a vibrant blue box, with the classic authenticity sticker which is pretty cool, a nice internal design packed with foam which just adds up so much! Very nice aquatic type bottle with dark colors and the very heavy bottle cap, all of this for 30 euro.. If this isnt the best blind buy ever i dont know what is, i might even buy another bottle now for whenever this one runs out.

I'm convinced that what Afnan did here is borrow elements from all the popular blues on the market to make this lovely scent. What I can say is this is a very good shower gel style fragrance, though I do admit I am biased towards blues, gym freshies, and aquatics, so this is very much in my wheelhouse. Blast of mint and lemon in the open, green apple (not too sweet) with a hint of incense in the heart where I also get the sensation of ozonic/marine, and a nice gingery sandalwood base. It's nothing earth shattering, but they did a great job combining dna to make something that'll be very mass appealing and safe in gym, office, and casual use. If you close your eyes you can pick out where the YSL Y EDP comes in with the apple, the BDC mint/lemon/incense, the Acqua di Gio ozonic marine; I don't think it'll blow anyone away but it was under $40 for 150ml and is well blended. If I struggled with picking a clean blue for daily Summer wear, this could easily fit the bill.

Well first of all the opening is very good now the dry down is very nice also. The main thing is the excellent value so I got a full bottle (100ml I think) for 24 euros which for this edp concentration and the quality of the juice is excellent. I like it and it's a great everyday dumbreach especially for the summer and hot climates but really it makes sense. For who would buy this ? since it's affordable & easy to find as well as a great blue fragrance and very energetic I'd say a young guy 12-28 especially great for school/gym/being out and about. I had tested it at stores twice and so I bought it on the net (deloox) and yeah it's a gem to me. I should note I had tried 3 fragrances on my skin and my lady friend said this one was her favorite of them 👍(the other was a clone of Dylan Blue and the other was Layla Gulf Orchid) The only thing is that it's a little redundant if you own other blues like bleu de channel or Versace Dylan Blue which are in the same vein.

Afnan 9am Dive is a chameleon fragrance hybrid/tribrid mashup of multiple dna's. I get something different from 9am Dive each time I wear it. At times I get Bleu De Chanel mixed with Ysl, while other times it reminds me of a weaker less projecting Odyssey Aqua...I really enjoy the initial opening as it has a lemon/mandarin kick although not listed in the note breakdown. In the base I get a little bit of a minty ginger scent which is nice, and there's a minty note as well which i didnt pickup in the opening. My biggest issue is I get hardly any projection which is mostly likely due to nose fatigue. If you can find it at a reduced price it's definitely a good purchase as a dumb reach everyday wear. If I was starting from scratch and hadn't already had such a vast collection I would've definitely grabbed this as an all around daily wear. Its fresh and clean, great for warmer weather wake up in the morning and spray spring/summer scent.

This is one criminally underrated fragrance. I think it's been pigeonholed as a clone because it is from Afnan, but this really does its own thing. Yeah it has a little BDC, with an apple note similar to YSL Y, but these are only minor similarities. 9am is really a unique summertime freshie with a bit of sweetness on top. Lemon and mint add abundant freshness, balanced by the sweetness of Afnans' signature black currant, with the Ysl Y apple note sitting as a base to it all. It has a ton of character, and is more like something I would expect Xerjoff to release: niche uniqueness with designer sensibilities. The only knock against this is the average performance. I use 4 to 5 sprays, and get maybe 3 feet of projection with 5-6 hours of longevity. Not terrible, but nothing special. Given the price, quality, and freshness, im ok with it.

I hadn't sprayed this since like 2024, or at least cannot remember doing it any later than that, but I forgot how good this smelled. It did open up quite clary sage/lily of the valley-heavy even though it didn't list those two notes, and the dry down has a handful of nuances from Spicebomb Night Vision EDP... that slightly resinous pepperminty sweet, pop-y vibe. Overall for it's price it's quite a steal...some snobs may find it generic but it smells crazy good for what it is, and it's quite a perfect gift with the box it comes in lol Solid 8/10, can't really go wrong with this hybrid/tribrid scent profile (mostly reminds me of YSL Y EDT, a bit of Bleu de Chanel and also Spicebomb Night Vision EDP, mind you this is just to *my* nose)

Very decent. Great bottle. It's definitely a blue fragrance but sweeter end of it. You get citrus and mint and a faint herbal note - like basil or something, but it's very faint in the background. The fruityness in the notes reminds me of say a pack of harobos. Definitely shower gel fresh as well.. people might say it's for a younger crowd, but if works on an older guy like me. Versatile and could be a candidate for an easy reach daily driver. You can get it for around £25 and for the money, again it's superb value and definitely worth grabbing a bottle if your in the mood for a very fresh slightly sweet blue fragrance. As a comparison, if you like something like Dylan blue, I think you'd be very happy with this.

i really really love this hybrid/original and wish it lasted longer I always ALWAYS get compliments on it and to me the perfect fragrance for me personally for my day to day I feel confident and love it and everyone around me loves it anywhere I go, I've been stopped like 4 times by 2 guys and 2 girls asking what is and loved it. To me its the perfect daily and balance of freshness and sweetness can't express enough how much I love it and wish it lasted way longer because im out for a lot of hours in the day and by hour 4 its extremely intimate to the skin. Hoping for another company to copy the DNA or afnan to release an extrait or something.

Right off the box, it was very citrusy, it used to get super weak and unnoticeable in minutes.I got this in 2024 october, macerated for 8 months and performance is easily above average for a freshie now. I love it. Now its citrusy, fruity (and fruit notes are juicy), woody, slightly sweet and very minty. It doesn’t disappear after initial spray anymore. I DEFINITELY recommend maceration. It was so weak and smelled quite different when i first sprayed my bottle, used to smell like citrus and nothing else. If you want something like BdC or Y, this doesn’t really smell like them to me but very good fragrance.

This fragrance differs from Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum in several ways. First, instead of being sharp, it has a creamy, soft quality that makes it incredibly appealing, especially to younger people. I find it less formal, more playful, and more versatile. It's slightly sweeter and has less incense than BDC, but I think it's become a bit more aquatic. A 10 out of 10 for the price. Excellent projection and acceptable longevity. A truly excellent fragrance for the workplace and everyday use. safe blind buy. On line 9, I like this perfume the most.

Extremely mass appealing and safe blind buy worthy. I don’t have much experience with BDC but I know it smells pretty close to it and has pretty good performance. Club de nuit has sort of a more sharp citrus and this has that just softer either one works and checks off the list. It seems that when they made 9am dive they cranked up the quality a little bit more then 9pm with the presentation, atomizer and cap. 10/10 if you want somthing that smells simple but not boring. Please blind buy it if you find blind buying fun you won’t be disappointed.

2 months later and this is an amazing scent. The maturation thing works wonders for middle eastern fragrances. When I first bought it had a coach for men vibe to it and now it’s a little bit sweeter (not annoying sweetness) and a much more refined blue fragrance. I believe Afnan has some of the best fragrances out there period. I just sprayed it on an hour ago and was amazed that I had to comment about it. The 9am/9pm line for me has been nothing but hits but I am absolutely gobsmacked that a middle eastern blue fragrance could be this good

a great aquatic summer fragrance. I gifted mine last year and had to get another one to have in the collection when i cant decide on a summer fragrance. The price point makes it so you can spray as much and as often as you'd like without worrying about the bottle finishing. The atomizer and bottle are decent quality, the bottle and cap having some weight to them. Can Definitely pick up the Lemon and pink pepper with subtle mint and apple. 8.5/10 very safe, type of cologne you can keep in your gym bag or car and know you wont smell bad.

At first spray I wasn't sure about it and strongly considered returning it. (I bought at burlington for $30) But giving it more time and wearing it, I decided it will be a good work daily if I want something similar to BDC but don't want to use the good stuff. This is a slightly sweeter version of the BDC profile. I'd say around 70-80% similar. If you know BDC you'll pick it up with a twist. BDC smells of higher quality but this is great bang for your buck if you want a scent similar to BDC but don't want to pay $120+

Bought it as a gift for my father, but i secretly also wanted to test it since I'm interested in getting it for myself eventually. I really like the smell, its sexy, pretty much what i expected when looking at the notes here. Sprayed it around 4-5 hours ago and i can still smell it when i move my head around, but its not as strong as other Afnan perfumes. Im guessing after a month or two of maturation this will be much longer lasting. Even as it is now, its a fantastic perfume, great value for the price.
