Adwaa Al Sharq

Very similar to Ajmal - Aristocrat for Her, but I think this oil lasts longer on skin. Aristocrat, which comes in EdP form, doesn't really last on skin (or I'm getting anosmic to it, I don't know). I can still smell this one intensively, though, even after couple of hours. Very nice, sweet, woody, spicy (with a tiny bit of saltiness to it), definitely has that BR540 vibe to it, but it's like sweet oranges and wood. It's very addictive, I can't stop smelling my wrists. It comes in a beautiful bottle and the box is very nice, too. The projection is quite good. I think I'm going to use this one my skin while I will keep using Aristocrat on my clothes, as this one is oil and thus can't be used on clothes. UPDATE: actually, this is more similar to BR Extrait, mainly due to the sweet juicy orange vibe which I don't smell in the former BR.

Very hard to describe. After reading the reviews i guess my parfum is not the same as yours, maybe mine has a ingredients problem. My Adwaa, il a oil that when we open it, it has no fragrance. When i put it on my skin, i do a massage do absorb, and there it comes a very special frangrance, very soft, creamy, cozy, a little bit sweet...i would say it has the same odor has the money notes... About the sillage, this is a perfume to yourself, you can feel it in yourself everytime you move, has it has a type of fragrance waves that becomes from yourself to your nose, surprisingly! Someone that puts the head on your shoulder or kiss your cheek, will feel it and it is like an hipnose, it stops the time, the smell is very interesting and captivating i would say afrodisiac too.

Warm, spicy, creamy, caramel, vanilla. This beautiful attar is a beast. I bought this from an arab store in my city based off first waft and the bottle. This store always carries the best fragrances so I had no doubt about the quality or value. This fragrance is a warm creamy amber. Not gourmand, but certainly get hints of a creamy delicious vanilla caramel. The most prominent notes you will get are amber, cream and a spiced note (saffron). A slight jasmine peaks through and I personally love to layer this with a more delicious gourmand, maybe a vanilla lotion and a Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Extreme. My star performer and one of my all time favourite attars! The whole room will smell you and all eyes will be on you.

Thank you so much, @TatianaChoco! I didn't think "amber" and "spices" (which is all that Fragrantica lists) really described this fragrance very well. The note profile you provided is much better; I can detect every one of those things. I just received this today, and I'm absolutely reveling in it. It's lovely unto itself, yeah, but I think it will be STELLAR as a layering fragrance with a whole host of other things. (I have it, on one wrist, under Asdaaf's Majdal Sultan right now, and it's so gorgeously transporting and beautiful that I'm about to pass out.) Not for sissies, though - especially in warm weather. People who like things that smell fresh and modern for summer won't like this little powerhouse at all.

Adwaa Al Sharq is a perfectly balanced amber and soft spicy slightly gourmand oil. Very ambery. The opening is feminine, elegant, and warm, but sadly disappears rapidly. The drydown is soft and cosy and remains close to skin but very agreeable. I applied 2 drops on each arm and a hint of the beautiful fragrance stayed in the fabric of my sleeves for a couple of days. It is a very addictive perfume, I can't stop reapplying. Already repurchased a second bottle. It is difficult to compare it with any other perfume. This is a fragrance to please yourself, not the crowd around You. Beautiful presentation.

To me is not exactly a dupe of BR540,more like inspired by,is more warm and ambery since it doesnt have the Saffron.The opening is similar to Opulent Musk by Lattafa in my opinion,after that is similar to BR540.Its still a nice oil,smells good and I will use it for layering. On me after 2 hours the smell is not very strong...So idk how other people get 12 hours of this...maybe with layering? The projection is really strong in the first hour,I love the smell in the air. It was a blind buy for me,but it was worth it.I recoomend it.

If you're looking for a great introduction into perfume oils, search no more. It smells absolutely incredible (i get this musk mixed with warm spices), layers with perfumes very well (I've found, that it resonates best with Alien Goddess and Linterdit Rouge) and you get so much worth for the small price. It lasts you an eternity, the sillage is good ( it does not fill a room, but leaves a nice trail of scent as you move) as well as the longevity. I don't normally write reviews, but this has blown my mind into different reality.

Having worn this both in cold and hot weather, my conclusion is that if you want the BR540 DNA for the hotter days, this is a good option for a few reasons: - in hot weather that metallic edge that it has in the cold turns into a creamy-fruity sweetness - in the hotter days it projects more and it also lasts with it being an oil - this is mostly for applying on skin as it is an oil, so it makes sense wearing this in the heat as you will have more skin exposed to apply on Hope this helps! This is one of my first perfumes oils I bought: the amber and the warm spicy notes are strong and almost combined, on top is noticeable especially on skin the saffron, weakly the jasmin but I can't sense strangely the caramel at all, on the skin leave some "animalic" notes, musk and amberwood notes are more prominent on the skin too It last seriously long time (more than 8 hours), the sillage is moderated-high in my opinion Highly suggested, I spent 20$ on it and are not wasted at all

A BR40 inspired by perfume oil without a clinical saffron or anosmic scent quality. On my skin it smells sweet, almost as if there were ripe dates, it has a ton of creamy musk, saffron, some cedarwood in the dry down (that makes it somewhat unisex although sweet), amber, some woody element and caramel. This satisfies my sweet tooth cravings when they arise. This oil tends to overpower other fragrances when I attempt to layer so I don't.

I’m a blokes bloke but I wear anything I want I don’t really give a sheeeet it it’s smells pure girly and I like it . I will wear it I love all fragrances and I just don’t think about. Male or female I love this scent rub it on my chest and wrists. And I’m ready rock haha last for hours on my skin Last for days in material and it’s cheap as chips It’s a winner for me

This parfums oil surprised me! I definitely get the association with BR540 (or it’s dupes), but this fragrance is softer, more rounded, and has a strong amber in it. I personally think it might be more wearable than BR540 because of this (less of a “dentist” or “hospital” smell that some people hate). Considering the price it’s at least worth a shot!

When I first tested it, it was before going to bed. When my husband entered the bedroom he said the whole room smelled of this perfume oil, he thought I had spilled it somewhere, but I only applied it to my wrists and neck. Although it is an oil, it has a very strong, long-lasting and pleasant aroma. Love it! It is definitely a hidden gem.

Afnan presents: the Baccaratizer! Turn any fragrance into a BR540 twist! All you have to do is apply the Baccaratizer before any fragrance and youre good to go! (It does smell slightly more dentist-y than other dupes tbh, but its still lovely and the bottle is 🫡🤍)

For me personally, it's a fabulous, intriguing, mysterious, and passionate fragrance. It reminds me of a bouquet of fresh soap and honey. I find it a wonderfully refreshing and deeply enveloping combination. In my opinion, men can also wear it without hesitation.

Basically a concentrated version of Oud for Glory. I paid 1/4 for this one, which actually lasts longer. However, it has a salty vibe that comes out from the animalic note (synthetic oud I assume)

This perfume is pure amber heaven! It's so warm and inviting, perfect for cooler evenings. I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear it.

This smells a lot like Voyage Festif Reyane Tradition only a little bit cleaner. It's absolutely wonderful

It is a bit similar scent to Baccarat, which has already been mentioned. Well, it 's not so sweet. The opening is such a smoky saffron. According to Afnan's official website, there is also caramel in the beginning, which smells me like saffron and burnt caramel. After the introduction, amber, spice and musk appear. This perfume is not as sweet as Baccarat, as I said, which suits me very well. The overall impression is very high. The lasting power is over 12 hours on the skin. The bottle and box are stunning.

First impressions: Blind buy for me, I wanted to try a perfume oil and came across this one for 12 euro’s. It is similar to BR540 in the opening but it transforms after about an hour of wear into a more intimate cozy amber. Even leaning more unisex/male on me. Lasts about 6 hours on my skin. The silage seems pretty strong when first applied but it settles after the oil has been absorbed into the skin. I would expect perfume oil to be an absolute powerhouse but I don’t get that... I might try and put some on the inside of a jacket to see whether that increases its longevity and sillage. Overall a beautiful balanced amber blend, not cloying sweet. Afnan really delivered on this one 🥰

May I just begin by saying that the packaging is truly a gem, a pleasure to behold and this bottle is one of the most beautiful bottles I have in my collection. The glass applicator also adds to the "ritual". Now for the scent itself The BR450 likeness is there but Adwaa Al Sharq has it's own personality. Though still slightly medicinal in the opening, it's warm and Ambery, yes, capital A ambery. It also reminds me of a non-lactonic AG Cloud. The spice is there but not as much as I'd hopped. I'll let it sit in the closet and see if anything changes, but even if it doesn't, I already love it for what it is. A strong 9/10 from me.

Well, it don ́t fail to copy BK Rouge. It is a really long lasting scented oil, it lasts me 12 hours. I wear it now and then when I have to work long periods. I usually apply some drops into my Neutrogena Deep Moisture Body cream, and layer with the Brazilian crush 62. It works for colder weather, and I really like the projection. When I want to wear in warmer weather, I apply less drops to my body cream. I am not a huge fan of BK Rouge, but this one can be dosed since it is an oil. The price is insanely low for what it delivers. I recommend 100%.

What a surprise! First of all, it last on the skin all day. Applied at 9am and after 13 hours I can still smell it very well. Not a beast mode strong, sits close to skin after an hour or shorter period of time. Just a perfect product for layering! Tried with Bottega Veneta Knot Eau Absolue. I hate B540 and it smells to me like a burnt sugar with dog saliva (sorry people :). This oil is not it. Ambery, slightly sweet. Sharpens of spices gos away pretty fast. On my skin it smells almost fruity like an apricot jam. For the price this is great.

I hated it in the beginning, so I decided to give it a bit of time to macerate and now after more than 6 months I’m in love with it. And the dry down is absolutely amazing, I get musk and a sweet scent which I don’t know where is it coming from. I hate BR540 but this one is so beautiful.

Smells similar to BR540 but I actually prefer this. It doesn't have the overly sweet vibe that Baccarat has. Lasts over 3 hours with moderate projection. Didnt make me dizzy or nauseous unlike BR540. A good buy.

This is warm, spicy, woody, slightly sweet scent that feels cohesive and intentional. The sweetness under the spices and woods is present, but doesn’t hit me in the face. It’s not trying too hard.

Stellar fragrance oil! Middle Eastern vibes, a cozy blend of musk and sweet market spices. Harmonizes well with other fragrances, giving rich person energy. Can go in either direction, but layering it can make it more masculine or femme. It does have a metallic note in there, which could make it either less cloying or annoying to some. The value is undeniably great for the price and lingers for a whole day. Subtle and irresistible, creating a delightful ambiance without overwhelming.

If you're a BR540 fan, then this is the oil for you. It's absolutely in the same scent family, which is why I honestly can't stand it. This isn't one that works with my skin chemistry. This is identical to the dossier BR540 Dupe. Also, as for staying power with this? This thing hangs around all day....... Absolutely impressive. The bottle and box are absolutely stellar too.

This will last me forever because I just need a tiny drop. One spray of Baccarat is too strong for me but with the perfect amount of this oil I can wear it and appreciate it.

It was ALMOST intriguing and then the dry down was just musty ASF ...not good glad I just tried at tjmaxx. Though, in my experience, it may need to macerate, mature, or that specific bottle was bad. Might have to blind buy just to see if it was a bad batch, and/or whether it develops into something better. Edit 10.8.25, I have a bottle that has been maturing for a lil bit and not only is it kind of just a generic soapy scent, it's also a little bit irritating and can give headaches, so just be aware of that before buying this one. The bottle is pretty ugly too, IMHO. It wears unisex.

O my gosh... This bottle... and it has a top, which needs to be unscrewed. Be carefull, as a long glas stick is attached to the top! This glass stick is used to apply the oil. The scent, to me, isn’t what I hoped for. It reminds me of when I was little and fell down on my knee and I was bleeding. My mother would apply watered down iodine. To me it smells like the watered down iodine. It starts to fade down, but I can still smell the iodine.

This oil clashed with my chemistry, it happens, but I have to tell you, the longevity of this one is insane, couldn't wash it off and it lasted for 16 hours

Not a BR540 dupe. You know how BR is known to have this strange mix of dentist’s office and sugary sweetness? This fragrance has all the dentistry without any sugar, instead someone has forgot an unwashed carpet lying around spreading its dull, dusty and a bit moldy scent all over. The price tag may be tempting, especially when you read all these stellar reviews here, but this is not a safe blind buy.

Around me i smell a bit of vanilla, amber and rust. Like a rusted metall spoon nearby. However, its not a nose/touch/skin friendly perfume (shown by its cheaper price) and will only smell like a dishwashing detergent of sort too odd and hospital-alcohol vibey for me.i completley agree with the dentist room vibes people are saying it gives.

This was a blind buy. I am trying to find a great layering combo that is affordable and smells like BR540. This is the PERFECT oil to wear with any perfume or on its own. It leaves a delicious scent trail and I have now been wearing it for 8hours, it is still as strong as when I put it on. It is sweet and a little musky. Very addictive scent and not too heady. Absolutely beautiful and a little goes a long way.

Spiced dry down on skin. Not like BR540. Get Sand + Fog Jasmine & Cedarwood oil for BR540.

Very reminiscent of B540 but to my nose it also reminds me of Mystique Bouquet by Afnan
