Cherry Bouquet

Cherry Bouquet is the polished almond‐cream cherry in my collection - the one that feels effortlessly feminine, smooth, and put‐together without ever trying too hard. It opens with a bright cherry liqueur shimmer, but instead of going tart or medicinal, it immediately softens into a creamy almond glow. Where other cherries in my wardrobe lean syrupy, boozy, or playful, Cherry Bouquet is the one that feels refined. The almond note is the star here: not bitter, not sharp, but silky - almost cosmetic, almost gourmand, but never heavy. It gives the cherry a soft-focus elegance that feels more “expensive skin scent” than “loud fruity perfume.” The florals weave through quietly, adding lift without turning it into a floral fragrance. They keep the cherry bright enough to feel modern, but the overall impression is smooth, creamy almond-cherry, soft, feminine and polished. The vanilla in the base rounds everything into a gentle, glowing sweetness that feels warm rather than sticky. It’s the cherry I reach for when I want to smell like I've moisturised, slept well, and have my life together, even if I don't. It's feminine, not loud; sweet, but in a grown-woman way. It’s also the closest thing in my collection to Tom Ford Lost Cherry - but smoother, creamier, and more wearable day to day. Cherry Bouquet fills the almond‐cream cherry slot in my scent wardrobe perfectly. It’s the scent that gets compliments without demanding attention and the one that feels appropriate for any setting. It feels pretty without being simple. It’s not the darkest, not the sweetest, not the most complex - but it is the most effortlessly beautiful.

Very, very pretty. First spritz is strong and the cherry liquor scent with Damascus rose together is HEAVENLY. Unfortunately, that only lasts five minutes. Which is to be expected. However, it settles down very quickly to not much more than a skin scent. About 20 minutes after application I cannot smell it on my skin unless I put my wrist to my nose. It's a lovely perfume. I don't like fruit scents. But the boozy scents I do. The cherry 🍒 liquor with the rose is a beautiful combination. Those are the forefronts. The rest sort of meld together in the background. This will be very nice for the cooler weather and holidays approaching. It's not a "candy" type scent. It's a boozy, cherry rose with a touch of plum and cedar. That bit of cedar gives it an balsamic ethereal aura to it. It's not noticeable. But gives the fragrance a boost. I'm on the fence about the longevity. I only wore it twice. First time I got very warm and humid started to sweat off the fragrance. Today is my second time. Just out of the shower and hour ago. I can still smell it. So, I'll be back. But so far lovely perfume, gorgeous bottle, exquisite velvetine box. Packaging is lush and expensive looking and smelling. The price is great. But going up fast because it's not around as much. Would make a beautiful Christmas gift.

Wait for it! So, when I first received this, while it was wearable, unlike many Middle Eastern fragrances that need to sit to let some of the alcohol evaporate, it did have an ashtray smell that was interfering with the cherry. The longer it sits, the less I get this, and the less time it takes for it to go away once I've sprayed it on my skin. The real magic begins at about the one-hour mark, when the musk starts to really come through. While I wouldn't call it animalic, the musk is SEXY! And combined with the cherry it is absolute perfection. This just went to the top of my fall/winter date night list. I also added it to my backup bottle wish list. This is the first cherry fragrance I've purchased, and I honestly don't feel the need to try any others. Cherry Bouquet is my queen!

I've been bored lately, so I began exploring chocolate-cherry and cherry-centric fragrances. I heard so Tom Ford "Lost Cherry" is the Holy Grail of all things cherry. So, I purchased Afnan "Cherry Bouquet" and Maison Alhambra "Lovely Cherie." Cherry Bouquet is a simple & likable, slightly medicinal, cherry-liqueur bomb with almond notes. Wears loud, strong, syrupy and heavy. Dry down yields vanilla and wood, non-detectible patchouli. After donating my bottle, I couldn’t stop thinking about Cherry Bouquet. I purchased a new bottle. I've tried several cherry-centric fragrances and Cherry Bouquet is among the best! Cherry Bouquet and Kayali "Lovefest Burning Cherry." Doesn't get better than these two!

I'm in love! This is a more complex and long-lasting TF Lost Cherry. The listed florals on the mid definitely peek through ever so slightly, just whispering instead of yelling, but don't take over the cherry/almond/vanilla vibe I crave. Rather, they beautifully complement them. Other than the florals, the only real differences I noticed were that the cherry seems juicier and the vanilla seems more prominent in the Afnan. This is what TF Lost Cherry was trying to be. I'm getting sixish hours of fully enjoyable wear on skin out of this bad boy, whereas I'm lucky to get two out of TF. Whether I should or not, I'm absolutely going to rock my Afnan Cherry Bouquet during all four seasons.
