Highness VI

Wow...........ok. Where to start. I gotta say..........this one is kicks serious ass. The moment I opened this one up, my jaw hit the floor. This one DEFINITELY lives up to the hype and definitely glad I got this. I have close to 50 frags and this has easily ranked at my top of most BEAUTIFUL frags I've ever smelled and owned. And gents.......if you're looking for something different..................you WILL get it! To basically break the smell down as simple as I can without putting up a wall of text. Its like a top quality blue freshie with just the right spices, and just the right amount of spices added to it. I cannot tell you what other frags it smells like, cause honestly, I've never smelled a damn thing like this, or this good for that matter. Even as I'm typing this out, what I can smell coming off my wrist going into the air I can smell a beautiful blue freshie with a little spice to it that really makes it smell VERY ELEGANT. I only sprayed one little spot on my left wrist and I can smell this thing REALLY WELL. IT WILL PROJECT!! So dont over spray. And yes, you can go nose blind from this, so watch it!! (especially for those who complain this has little smell or projection, odds are you likely went nose blind as Afnans are well known for this, keep that in mind before you condemn it, other family members in my house noticed it without me being around them) It has hella projection, but the best part.............is that it's not screechy or too loud. It's well rounded and JUST RIGHT!! (Usually the frags with the most projection are commonly either screechy or loud). Afnan manages to make a frag that says: Here I am, but I'm not trying too hard to be noticed like I have something to prove. I have class! Its like a good, strong, high quality man that doesn't need to boast or show off about being one. People already know it by how he acts. That's this ^^^, in this bottle right here. Its very classy and mature. The highness name definitely fits this frag. This is VERY VERY beautiful and classy!!!! More than worth its money. This smells to me like something that could easily be worth $300 or more. But that's just my honest opinion. This is definitely different, but I think it's absolutely blind buy safe. I don't find this polarizing or too much. It smells VERY nice, especially on dry down. I know everyone smells things differently and it wont be everyone's cup of tea, but guys...................you gotta get this one!!!! It at least more than deserves a try! I truly hope you get out of yours what I get out of mine. This one rocks!! Well done Afnan!

Afnan’s Highness VI is a stellar blue opulent fragrance. Highness IV does not get a lot of attention from popular YouTube fragrance reviewers. If it did this stuff would be flying off shelves. It is also probably one of the best offerings from Afan that I have ever tried it is criminally underrated. The price speaks for itself it is not cheap knowing that Afnan is a clone house. However, this doesn’t remind me of any other fragrance and it does not smell cheap it’s a very unique take on a blue fragrance that does not have that typical citrus dna that a lot of blue fragrances have on the market. The quality in this fragrance from opening to drydown is phenomenal I would say it’s linear. You can just smell the quality it is not harsh at all and the ingredients in this fragrance smelled like it is blended wonderfully. This fragrance is a blue opulent fresh /spicy/ambery fragrance that smells very addicting one spray and it’ll have you hooked you’ll keep wanting to smell the area you sprayed. In my opinion, it’s a very captivating regal blue fragrance and I enjoy it a lot the silage is insane as well the longevity is nuclear. Also if your someone who loves presentation afnan went above and beyond with presentation, the box, the logo on the paper, the cap is heavy, there’s an also pressurized sprayer. The whole unboxing experience felt like a Xerjoff unboxing.

This is literally class in a bottle. It's both masculine and unique without being obnoxious or smelling dated. Even though it has great performance, the scent is somewhat soft and not in your face. Clean, soapy, and slightly spicy is the best way to describe it. It’s beautifully blended and smooth all the way around. Nothing sharp of piercing here. An overall elegant and timeless fragrance profile. I don't particularly care so much for packaging, but this is probably the best presentation I've ever seen for a fragrance. The bottle itself also weighs a ton and looks very regal. Highly recommend this to anyone over 30 who's looking for a more mature style of blue fragrance. PS For anyone that is judging the performance or scent profile harshly upon spraying it just one time, I would encourage you to let the bottle sit and macerate for a few weeks. This is almost a requirement for middle eastern fragrances that people still haven’t seem to grasp. It should get a lot better in terms of smell and performance.

I've had this on my to get list for a long time and finally saw a tester for 35 usd. Absolute steal. Just sprayed it on 15 min ago and this is a banger from first sniff. the descriptions below are saying this is a dark blue, but I would say it leans more in middle and is much more uplifting. Rochas L'Homme, is much darker than this along with Historic Olmeda by Afnan. I will leave a more detailed report as I get more experience with it, but if you enjoy blue fragrances, this is a must have. Soapy, musky, clean, fresh, almost get a citric vibe sitting on top of it. There's depth, well blended, quality is decent, and lot's of versatility here. As soon as right fragrance reviewer gets their hand on it, it'll be sold out after the review at discounters.

An amazing and unique spicy fresh blue scent for people who are bored of traditional citrus blue scents. It shares some loose similarity to Loewe Cobalt due to the black currant, but Afnan is much spicier and performs better. On my skin, I get easy 8-9h with great projection in first 2 hours. It sticks on clothes like crazy, lasts for days and can survive washing. I got a backup bottle just in case. This is a masterpiece by Afnan. The price is on the higher end for a ME fragrance, but worth the price IMO. The quality is there, and the packaging is insane.

Wow this fragrance taught me a lesson I thought it was garbage when I first received it....... I was so upset after waiting so long for it to come back into circulation anyway to cut a long story short you have to let it sit for at least a week and then the magic happens superb beautiful fragrance with excellent performance on all levels 🔥🔥🔥 just let it sit for while to get the true performance and scent 💯 banger

Simply beautiful. Same DNA as afnan tribute but they took out the annoying musk and added more nutmeg levender and depth in to it. Very stable, a compliment beast, very formal unique and classy smell, a heavy fresh not citrucy sent. I'm using it for formal events and I always get non stop compliments of it, I think it's the best perfume for its price, after being in the this hobby for so long.

This right here is one of the best blue scents for this price in the market. It lasts long, smells classy and modern at the same time. This is a BOSS blue, and not a sweet freshie like everything else. The bottle feels premium, and it matches the scent profile. I also have Cobalt 7. No, it's not a clone of that, but it does have that same feel: a mature modern blue.

I got a sample of this with my online order of Frapin Extreme and I was blown away. The reviews are right this scent is unique and it definitely smells like an upscale blue Ambery and a very spicy fragrance for gentlemen 25 and up I don't see any similarities with Dior Sauvage elixir that is a bad comparison.

Presentation 100/10 smell 10/10 sharp herb woody citrusy with a lot of spice mixed with light shower gell soapyness its like a more mature version of L'eau Super Majeure D'issey with a hint of armaf sillage. This could be worn anytime its very safe and the name suits it well

Smells like DCCLIII Per L'Uomo Carlo Colucci, but much more quality, depth and smells more expensive. Nice perfume - but the longevity and sillage is poor.

Its very good blue scent , really smooth need few week to settle down , above average performance ! I think buying another bottle!

Unique Blue Fragrance.. It doesn't smell like other popular blue fragrances out. Great Performance and Projection.

Man, honestly this is a very challenging fragrance straight out the box. It's very harsh, spicy, and off-putting. But after 3 months of letting, it sit and mature. Coming back for test sprays, testing out full wearing's it has actually balanced out really well. Is this going to be for everyone? No. Who is this for? This is for someone who likes blue fragrances that doesn't mind testing the waters of uniqueness. At the core of this fragrance is your typical blue DNA, but the add spices, and earthy tones makes this one not your everyday typical blue basic. Also, this is niche through, and through. Niche in the fact that Afnan is only producing a particular product, and niche in the aspect of quality. There really isn't a synthetic tone about this fragrance which also makes this a challenging wear if you are not used to natural smells. This can draw comparisons to several other fragrance, but in my opinion the closes are Afnan Tribute Blue 98%, Loewe 7 Cobalt 75%. Tribute Blue virtually identical with that one being slightly a bit spicier but more put together right out the box. It's still harsh and abrasive, but it doesn't need that much maturing. 7 Cobalt is a lot fresher, smoother, and mass appealing with more of a fruiter opening off the top. Between the three 7 Cobalt is going to be the easier wear, and reach. Performance: Highness VI starts off Bold but falls anosmic really fast. Literally after 10mins I was rushing to reapply. But therein lies the mistake. You will go nose blind to this and potentially choke someone out from the sillage. So go easy on the sprays. It does wear moderate but in terms of sillage, and longevity? You're looking at about 6-8hr max with 90% of that tenure being smelt by others. Glad I have it in the collection, but would I repurchase? No. I'd get Tribute Blue it's cheaper.

The Big Bad Blue! This stuff is nuclear! Excellent blue fragrance with its own unique scent profile. I wish some of the ME houses would do more original creations like this, because this is a top shelf, niche quality fragrance. I'm not going to do a full review because other people have already broken it down fairly well, what I will do is make some comparisons to some other popular fragrances I have seen it compared to. I have heard some say this is similar to Loewe 7 Cobalt, and I can see why some may make those comparisons. They do share some similar notes, but they are very different to my nose. H VI is dry and the patchouli is definitely the main player, while L7C is creamy and woody with a light sage note giving an impression of incense. Highness VI is closer to Moncler Sunrise in the drydown. They both have a dryness to them that I don't really get in the Loewe. Afnan Tribute Blue certainly shares some DNA with this and is also quite strong, but not quite as fresh. Highness VI outshines all other blue frags with its powerful performance. Huge projection for hours. Room filling sillage, great longevity. I didn't usually talk about the presentation, but I think Afnan truly needs to be commended for the Highness line. This is the most premium presentation I have ever had the pleasure of opening. It blows away even Xerjoff in terms of quality and attention to detail. The bottle is also incredibly nice, very heavy, and beautiful. This bottle also weighs more than any of my 6.7 oz bottles.

it's not a blue scent, very peppery and incense, similar to loewe 7 and bois imperial.

Everything about this cologne is wonderful except the fragrance itself. Nice box, bottle, cap, atomizer.....lousy scent. Not a blue fragrance at all. This smells like an old lady, like something my Grandmother that was born in 1913 would wear. Spicy and repugnant. This is the kind of fragrance you wish had poor performance but no, this atrocity lingers forever. Obnoxious and in your face, it's bad from the opening through the dry down. It never gets better. The only cologne I've ever owned that annoyed me to the point I had to stop what I was doing mid-day to shower this slop off. Nuclear nastiness. I should have listened to JusttheFactsMan. You're basically paying for the presentation. Hard Pass.

#578 in my "Tour de Fragrance: They clearly spent a ton of money on packaging. It would be nice if they'd spent it on perfume oil instead. Wood and powder just like Highness III. Sorry I wasted my money on this. Don't repeat my mistake.

If there were any scent, I’d try to describe what it smells like—but I can’t smell anything at all. I sprayed it 20 times and still felt nothing. Don’t buy this, seriously. Get Tribute Blue instead—it’s amazing and very masculine.

First off, these bottles from Afnan's "Highness" series are gorgeous. The name is appropriate because the bottle just feels kingly, from the hefty wooden box it comes in to the bottle itself. Afnan knows how to do presentation and they nailed it with this. Now as far as the fragrance itself, I honestly find it superior to many other designer blue fragrances, and at less than half the price, it's amazing to me that more people aren't wearing this. Many of the more popular designer blue fragrances like Y EDP, Dylan Blue or Bleu de Chanel, tend to (for me) lean synthetic and a bit screechy, being heavily reliant on citruses in the top and ambroxan in the base. That formula also results in many blue fragrances smelling really similar. However, Highness VI breaks the mold somewhat with its inclusion of warm spices and musk, doing so without ditching the mass appeal of the blue category; it's still clean, woody, and aromatic, qualities that are perfect for a signature scent. I'll also echo what some others have said: this is not a scent that will evolve a ton over time, but I think for a daily driver, that's not a bad thing. Presentation: 10/10 Scent: 9.5/10 Longevity: 9/10 Value: 10/10 Overall score: 9.5/10

It is a very nice fragrance, with great presentation. I weighed the box with the fragrance, and it is 2.8 pounds, so if you have back problems, be careful:). I would call the fragrance original. It is a blue fragrance, but the added spiciness makes it unique. I wish the the white musk was dialed down a little more. Very potent and last long. 8/10 for the fragrance and 10/10 for the presentation.

First Impression: Smells good, but nothing unique about it. It's basically spicy Bleu de Chanel. The performance is average.
