Modest Pour Homme Une

Easily the best Dior Sauvage (in EDT) clone on the market. I have many clones, Armaf's Ventana, Priv Zarah Superior, Swiss Arabian Spirit Absolute and Ajmal's Kuro and have used them all up, I love this DNA, so easy, a dumb reach in every sense of the word. This blows them all out of the water. The presentation is a little goofy but nice, the cap will stick to the bottle. The opening is just 'soft citrus', not quite easily identifiable as Bergamot, at least Sauvage's sharp, crisp and metallic bergamot but as it goes into the heart, this smells so very close, maybe less metallic or 'twangy' driftwood effect, as well as a tiny bit sweeter. Where Ventana is just too citrusy and completely changes the Sauvage composition, Spirit Absolute is far too sweet and Kuro is too earthy & herbaceous, Modest Une is the closest. Its performance is okay, similar to the EDT, which performs mediocrely on myself (Around 6-7 hours), I'd highly recommend you bring an atomizer for daily wear. The price, however, is unbeatable, In Australia, it is comfortably 1/3 of the Dior's (in EDT), so it doesn't hurt to buy 2-3 bottles instead of 1 Dior, seriously, it's that close. Modest Une is for Dior's Sauvage what CDNIM is to Aventus. This is a scarily close clone; I have buyer's remorse getting the original product sometimes... 9/10

#912 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Every fragrance house does a Sauvage similar, if not five different Sauvage similars. We all have multiples of this spicy blue scent DNA. The one this comes closest to in scent is Armaf Sauville, but the Sauville performance is considerably inferior to this. And I I think that's the only real difference between all the scents listed by reviewers is performance. This performs better than my Sauvage EDT, EDP for sure, just short of my Sauvage Parfum in potency. Better than Dylan Blue, all the Prada Luna Rossas, Boucheron Singulier, Armaf Ventana, Pride of Armaf. On par with CDN Urban Elixir and Rasasi 9459 (Croc) which are great performing scents. Not quite the beast that Eau Sauvage Parfum is, sadly, but for the money you have to be thrilled with this, and I am. Another successful blind buy! Great price. Car pool, elevator, small office safe. Versatile, but for me all these blues are primarily business and casual wear, not scents for intimate nights.

Another low price scent that smells beautiful. This one is long lasting and puts out a decent scent bubble like a man cologne should. An awesome gift idea for the “not a Cologne person” kind of guy. It’s strong. But nobody hates it. This thing would make a good dumb reach imho. A good and strong blue scent. I don’t think it smells like Sauvage. More ish. But I like it. The presentation is good enough to blow someone away. The box looks like a book. And the bottle looks like a magic tower with diamonds. This Would make such a great gift for someone that needs a bottle of anything. Something , damn just put something on you smell like a job site . Here take 2 bottles. Put one on !!! And The box can be set in a book shelf and blend in with other books. I didn’t throw my box away. You can even hide your weed in it.

Opening: Lovely opening of apple, lavender and pepper. 8/10 Later: The perfume stays similar to the opening through the whole cycle, though at the end you can feel ambroxan and vetiver. 7/10 Projection and sillage: Sillage at no point is huge, though as a close smell and then skin-smell it projects fair, for up to 6 hours easily. 6/10 Price:Quality 8/10 Overall: A pleasant fresh and peppery perfume. It does not have incredible projection and sillage. Still, if you're into these kind of "fresh peppery" smells I think it's a great choice for the price. For me, personally, it's a really pleasant smell and it does have something intoxicating in it, can't stop smelling my wrists after spraying. Given the price I think it's a good daily for casual afternoon/evening socialisation. Overall grade: 7.5/10

This review is for MODEST UNE POUR FEMME (not in the database). Top note: Rose Balsamic Mid: Woody Patchouli Base: Woody, Earthy I think this perfume was discontinued but can still be found on discount websites. It is a beautiful rose and patchouli scent. A bit aromatic in the opening but dries down quite earthy. It is moderately sweet and very unisex. Performance is very good in the 60-72F that I'm wearing it. Modest Une Femme is an interesting patchouli dominant perfume and very western. Good for fall, winter and cooler spring. There is some transparency to this fragrance. It is not a thick ink. Very lovely. EDIT: Wore this in summer, high humidity, 97F. This perfume is even more gorgeous . Definitely unisex. Lasted all day. Just beautiful.

Ok, its Dior Sauvage EDT for 20 euros. Stronger on citrus notes, less ambroxan and without metallic smell, but authentic DNA atmosphere. Its not the same but 90% similar. Nothing for Sauvage HATERS!!! Very good fragrance for daily use for these money. Awesome budget alternative with solid performance. Nice niche-like presentation, luxury paper box. Overall one of the best in this price level!! AFNAN did a great job, like everytime Scent 8/10 - only for Sauvage fans Longevity 7/10 - not a beast, not a Sauvage EDT, but very good for 20 euros Projection 8/10 - Iam happy with projection, office friendly version of Dior Sauvage Value 10/10 - Really good and really cheap. If you are looking for a reliable alternative to Dior Sauvage EDT, look no further. Afnan Modest Une is an absolute steal for the price. The opening is a blast of fresh bergamot and sharp pepper, very energetic and clean. As it dries down, it gets a bit smoother with lavender and a heavy dose of ambroxan. To my nose, it’s about 90% close to Sauvage, maybe just a tiny bit fruitier in the first few minutes, but in the air, nobody can tell the difference. Longevity is incredible – easily 8 hours on skin, and the projection is solid for the first 2-3 hours. A true compliment monster and a perfect everyday "blue" fragrance. Highly recommended!

This is an *incredible* clone of Sauvage EDT. I blind bought this before I got into fragrances and I loved it so much I went out and bought a 200 ml of Sauvage EDT. Which is better, but not by much. I feel like the real Sauvage EDT is sharper and more piercing and high quality feeling and lasts a tad longer. This is ever so slightly different, and I mean ever so slightly. Like sub 5% different. I sprayed one spray of Sauvage on my left arm and one spray of this on my right and after smelling each over the course of their scent it's really hard to tell which is which. It's too bad the bottle looks like dog shit, though.

Everyone keeps guessing sauvage when I wear this !! It's so good! Definitely blind buy safe if you like sauvage! ! Sauvage edt is my fav but I think this Smells slightly better, but that's subjective , but deff lasts longer !.. smells good when you first open it, but after 1 month or so of maceration, it's stronger, you will go nose blind at sime stage, I thought the scent faded away but after 7-8hrs, I got complimented outside in the cold after walking past someone! That's power without realising it. Guy there, complained he wore his €100+ sauvage and it didn't last 3-4 hrs and was asking how is mine lasting longer 😂,

first time wear got compliment immediately.. very similar to sauvage edt, but it tooo citrusy for my taste.. off the strip/paper its kind of toilet cleaner vibe.. i recomend not to spray your clothes, but only skin, so that freshness/citruss dissapear quiclky, and you are left with pretty much Sauvage.. another issue is longevity.. for one hour it beast mode, within 3 hour its pretty much gone. batch is 08/23 for 27euros it great, you can respray anytime, but then get that initial citruss all the time.. lets see what maceration do to longevity..

Loud, spicy and citrusy. A good clone of Sauvage EDT. It lasts quite long on skin and radiates pretty good. 2-3 sprays can fill a smaller room, so it's best to not overdo it. The scent could probably become a bit annoying, considering how loud it can get. Scent: 8/10 (it's a good clone, but Sauvage isn't that good smelling tbh) Longevity: 9/10 (solid 8+ hours of longevity) Projection: 9.5/10 (it can get pretty loud and it stays like that for the first few hours)

This is in the same ballpark as Sauvage but done better to my nose. I've had Sauvage EDP and Parfum and sold both because something metallic bothered me, probably ambroxan. This doesn't have that annoying undertone and also a bit less peppery, a bit more sweeter. It lasts 12h on my skin, even after taking a shower. Sillage is room filling for first 15-30mins, then it settles down. Big like from me especially considering I was never fan of Sauvage or BDC.

Beastly performing fragrance. Sprayed on fabrics, it lasts until a wash and projects for days. Sprayed some on my shirt one day, and the next day i could smell it over my body soap while i was in the shower. Another one that you can still smell on skin even after a shower. When I got it, it was also weak for me (not nose blind, stop with nose blind), but after maceration 1-2 month i started to feel it, and now when weather is very hot, it projections very well, longevity is also very good, this is fragrance for hot weather and for movement, then ambroxan is strong note. And on Fragrantica, notes of Modest Pour Homme Une are not the same like on Official Afnan Perfumes Website.

Great cheapie alternative for sauvage imho, maybe it doesn't have the beast performance of EDT and it lacks a bit of that metalic note. longevity is 7-10 hours and for the price i paid (20 euro) you really cant complain, its mass pleasing and well worth your money. Cannot agree with some comments here about weak longevity and sillage, if i go more than 3 sprays it chokes people out indoors.

Finally it’s here in frangratica this is very similar to Suavage, for 1/3 the price it also approaches beast territory. I sprayed it in a shirt and you could still smell a faint smell of it after it was washed. It does not have the ambroxen, but it still is 90% similar to Suvauge. Just be easy on the trigger like 4 sprays max. I would say that this is to Suvauge as CDMI is to Aventus.

Very similar to dior sauvage edp after drydown ~ 95%+ it smells amazing and is a great everyday fresh shower gel type of fragrance. The beginning is a little rough but it only lasts 10 to 15 minutes before basically becoming dior sauvage edp. After a while kinda smells like linen dryer sheets (a mix of ysl myself edp and sauvage edp) overall very pleased. Based on smell alone 9.2/10

I was impressed with 9PM so I blind-bought this one too. It's super strong, can barely tell the difference from Sauvage (cuz I'm just an average joe). Sprayed once on each hand, later also one spray on the neck, it was a little too much. One thing's for sure, this one will last you a very long time. /edit: I recommend spraying it on clothes, because it lasts way longer than on skin.

FANTASTIC BEAST. I could smell it on my wrist after a shower. I sprayed it on my bed and filled the whole house. No regrets, no synthetics smells here. Great opening and dry down. It’s a linear fragrance, which is a good thing for me. Great presentation. Really, what else do you need. If you like Sauvage (EDT) you will like this. If you are a Sauvage hater, go get something else.

I have Dior Sauvage EDP and wanted to try this as Sauvage is very expensive if worn everyday. To my nose they smell the same, only Modest Une being more sharper while Sauvage EDP being smooth. Projection is quite a beasty and last more than 7 hours on my skin and when sprayed on clothing the scent is still there the next day.
