Ornament Pour Femme

First off, I went looking for the true notes on this because I came upon 3 sets of different ones for this scent. Long story short, I'm going by what both the US & main Afnan site now lists as it's note: Top Notes: Passionfruit, Coconut, Peach and Bergamot Middle Notes: Floral, Orange Flower and Vetiver Base Notes: Sweet Amber, Vanilla and Musk Now for my first impression; this is SUPER strong & intense. I thought some people where exaggerating a bit about that but they were not. Right now I get mostly a deep dark golden amber(with a heavy caramel lean, especially on skin). And they didn't skimp on the salty note either...although where that's coming from I don't know. There has to be a unlisted salt note here it's so intense. As it dries down I'm getting more coconut & a hint of fruits. Overall, think beach bum but make it dark & sultry also. I'm going to let this sit for a few months. I don't think it could possibly get stronger though(at least I hope not...lol) but the other notes could come out more & give a better blend maybe. Regardless, I love it already. Super happy I finally got this. Will be back for a more final review later. Edited: Also the bottle is very nice. And it does very much remind me of some of the Olympea scents(OG, Intense & Legend). Updated April 21st: This has softened up quite a bit. I'm actually happy about that. It was almost too strong when first sprayed. Now I'm getting a warm buttery golden amber(that still leans caramelized) mixed with coconut & salt, which has also calmed down some. The fruits at the top strangely start coming in mid way into dry down. What I'm getting right now is almost like the note pyramid flipped. Still extremely happy with this. Wore today to get a good impression of where it's at before letting this sit until September. It could be a little longer lasting(it's moderate atm) but I have a feeling she's going to progress & change nicely in the coming months. *Okay, I have an opinion on the scent now after my second wear(but the performance will have to wait). It's like a cross between these scents: OG Olympea X Mancera Coco Vanille + Holidays. *Now I'll give a little update on performance. This has been a strange journey. At first spray it was extremely loud and I was grateful when it toned down a bit. Then it got too soft. It would go on strong and stay that way for 15-20 minutes maybe.....before nose diving & becoming a skin scent. BUT now that the bottle has sit for a few months she's doing super nicely in longevity and projection.

Oh, Ornament, how I love you! A reviewer below mentioned Sun, or Roberto Cavalli signature as comparable to Ornament, prompting me to purchase. And yes, this is an orange blossom fragrance with certain similarities, but overall this is less balsamic then Cavalli, and less lactonic then Sun. The fruity notes in Ornament read as mandarin to me, the coconut is not screaming- COCONUT, and the Amber is thickk (with 2 k's!). Ornament may be a tad fresher in the opening, but this baby is giving alllll the Olympéa Intense vibes. I had planned to buy a back-up of Intense, as it’s a favorite, but now there is no need. The presentation of this perfume is top notch. I am not one to save boxes, but even my husband asked if I was going to hold onto it. I do prefer the Olympéa bottle to the inverted pyramid of this Ornament, but it could be worse. The juice is what matters, and the luxurious orange-salted vanilla-amber is divinely suited to a summer day in the sun or a winters’ day bundled against the cold. Big love. Oh-and no complaints on longevity and sillage. A great buy!

BEAST MASTER PIECE Reminds me of Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid, probably because of the vanilla. ⚠️If you don’t like a sweet blast of vanilla/caramel on your face, then skip this one. Cause trust me, it is STRONG and it will hit your face every single second. If you do, what are you waiting for?⚠️ Vanilla and caramel are the main notes here, if you are seeking for something more flowery, you may be disappointed. The sweet notes overpower the flowers big time. I got it for someone else, I do like it, but it really smells like a pastry place without the coffee. I wish they included a hint of coffee. Perfect for Late-summer nights and early-autumn. That being said, it is a great buy for a great price with an AMAZING presentation.

Despite the tropical vibes I love wearing Ornament during colder months. It’s rich, sweet and intoxicating. This is a floral amber vanilla with a salty touch. It smells really close to Olympea Intense, the dry-down is so similar that it’s impossible to tell them apart. The main differences are that ornament it’s a bit harsher in the opening. I also think that Olympea intense it’s rounder and has a buttery feel to it. Performance is good, it lasts 6/7 hours on me. Love it and I will re-purchase this baby 🥰🥰

I bought this perfume 6 months ago and I let it sit. At the time, the opening was too synthetic and sharp. I tried it for the first time again today and it has completely changed for the better. It now opens with a sweet and airy caramel note. As it develops, the white florals appear and they project. The performance and projection continues for 3-4 hours and then becomes a strong scent bubble for the rest of the wear. This is a sleeper. I really like this fragrance.

This is a beautiful soft tropical scent. It reminds me a bit of bbw Bahamas Passionfruit and banana, but ornament is more subtle to me. The notes are well blended to where no one note stands out. This scent stays with you for hours even though it doesn’t project very well. I will have to spray heavily to get the projection that I want. I love it and can’t wait to see how this performs in cooler weather.

Gorgeous; amber, vanilla, coconut, and light floral notes, with amber & vanilla the strongest of all. Reminds me a lot of Sun by Jil Sander and Roberto Cavalli by Roberto Cavalli, that intense amber-forward gourmand best suited for warm weather, spring or summer. Major sillage, fills up a whole room. Lasts for 8 hrs+.

I ordered this at the same time that I ordered Olympea intense and accidentally discovered they are dupes. Although it’s now almost impossible to find Afnan in the United States. I ended up returning olympea intense which was 2.7 oz for $70 and kept Afnan which was $40 for 3.4oz

I think I got an older bottle because this smelled great right out of the box. I definitely get orange blossom and light florals, not so much of the coconut. I like that it doesn't smell like most other sweet perfumes. It smells light an refreshing.

One of the best creamy coconut fragrances I have. I can't get enough, it's heavenly. I get whifs of it all day from my clothes. I like wearing it in the colder months as its very cozy. In the summer time I tend to go fresher. IT'S A LOVE FROM ME!!

This scent is absolutely intoxicating. Once you wear it you cannot stop. The bottle is impractical and takes a lot of space in my collection.

this is what I imagine a beach goddess would smell like, emerging from the waves on a summer evening, heat waves shimmering in the air, briny ocean water evaporating off her skin. it starts off with a vaguely fruity coconut (maybe orange?) before those beachy florals shine through. the notes here say orange blossom, but I'm not entirely convinced that's correct; conversely, though, I'm not sure what else it could be. something in here smells so intensely salty, like skin wet with seawater...could it be the amber? idk, but what I DO know is that this is a really nice summer scent and at a great price point. longevity is fine, about 6 hours on my skin, & holds up well in heat. (if you're a coconut hater...maybe skip this one)

To me this smells like coconut, fruits and amber in the opening. After about 10 mins it settles into this passion fruity kinda smell with a bit of vanilla. It's very fruity but not in a childish way. On my skin it lasts about 3 hours and doesn't project very well but on my clothes it lasts much longer; 8 hours. And the bottle is so beautiful.

Wow. I love Ornament Pour Femme! Such a beautiful fragrance. Sweet, creamy and warm. Coconut-y florals with a hint of fruits on a vanilla and amber base. Performance is great on my skin. I love this during the summer and early fall. Such a stunner for the price! I'll repurchase this one again and again.

the notes listed in the comments are more accurate, to me this is fruity amber and vanilla with a predominant coconut. more of a tropical vibe. medium performer on me. overall, a big like! the bottle is annoying to handle imo but it is pretty to look at.

I just bought this perfume and I can say that it is a beautiful perfume, it brings summer, salt water, hot sand and coconut. Very good sillage and longevity. It is not a dupe for Olimpea at all, which is much more delicate and sophisticated.

This smells like orange blossoms dipped in melted gummy candies. Sweet and floral, strong and feminine. Very wearable and inoffensive and just really fun and lovely.

This is a really lovely scent! It's sweet and fruity with a warm amber base that makes it perfect for fall and winter. I get compliments on it all the time!

So much like Olympea intense. I almost prefer this one to the Olympea intense .. a good buy. It’s not exactly like it but really close.

Others have talked about this fragrance in great detail so I won't break down how I experienced the scent development and what notes appeared when. I will say three things; 1) This fragrance opens up with a very synthetic expression of coconut, and the jangle of notes doesn't morph into anything I find beautiful or enjoyable until the half hour mark. The coconut in Afnan's Ornament reminds me of the same synthetic off-putting coconut in Ard al Zaafaran's Turab al Dahab. From then onward, the fragrance starts to develop into something beautiful that smells identical to Olympéa intense in all its orange blossom domination and vanilla warmth; 2) This fragrance is not a safe blind buy, even if like me, you liked Olympéa and Olympéa intense. From the comments I see there are 3 camps- outright love, slowly falling in love, outright dislike. Obtain a sample if you are used to refined vanillas and don't want to play fragrance roulette; 3) I would not class this as an Olympéa intense dupe. Inspired by Paco Rabanne's Olympéa intense, yes, but dupe, no. To me this shares a 75% similarity. It lacks the refinement, smoothness and body that O intense has in gorgeous spades. Do not purchase this if you are only wanting to cut corners and skip on buying the Olympéa intense you love.

Edit: It's now been 9 months since I got my bottle and this perfume is finally sweet and wearable! It still has the amber and musk, but they are in the background now and the sweet fruit and vanilla is much more prominent. I still don't get coconut though. Original review: I wonder if I got a bad batch or if the perfume really does smell that different to different people! For me, this is just woody amber musk with a hint of fruit behind it. Not very enjoyable. I've had it a few months. It has not "macerated" into the tropical coconutty delight that others have described. Still just harsh, woody, amber and musk. Very disappointing. I love the bottle and the price point and it has great longevity and projection. I'm now working on layering combos to make this more wearable for me. Layering this with Shafaq shows promise. Brings out more of the coconut and fruit and tones down the amber.

i've had this for about 10 months and i just can't fall in love with it, i bought it for the coconut note but to me all i get is a powdery, salty, amber animalic smell... It reminds me of a curly haired girl who used tropical scented products on her hair, and hasn't washed her hair in a week and then finally when the water hits the hair you get that kind of dirty tropical smell. (which isn't a bad smell as a curly-head myself) it does smell similar to Olmpea, but i think i realized that i do not like salt and amber-y aquatic smells.. This has very good Longevity, Moderate sillage. I won't give up and i'll try layering it with something, if anyone has any suggestions on the best way to wear this fragrance please message me!

Best mode fragrance for sure and the bottle itself is a real masterpiece. A real sweet cloying perfume, but not in a gourmand way. I'm just a little bit disappointed as the coconut is really light in this one and I mainly bought it for the coconut. The longevity and sillage are really good, and you can easily layer it with coconuty scent if it is what you are looking for. EDIT : In the first place I tried it during hot summer days and I was not really impressed. However, I re-try it in autumn months and it is AMAZING, I can't stop smelling myself. For comparison, it is in the same category as JPG Essence de Parfum and it is a more wearable and sweet version of Roberto Cavalli eau de parfum.

This scent I would say varies over time.. Needs to macerate many months, more than other arab perfumes! 😊I purchased in the middle of fall 2023, it seemed like a scent with vanilla, amber and lots of pepper despite not being present in the notes, I couldn't smell the coconut or fruit notes.. Anyway an interesting scent but not over the top. Now I'm wearing it again in spring 2024 and instead It smells like creamy coconut, a bit fruity and something like pepper! now I really appreciate it! Intriguing!

I dont really get the coconut the Way i wanted to. Its an overall great scent, but not my favorite. Sillage is very intimate. Smells to me like a really good bodylotion. The scent is nice. This is a bit more mature and sophisitcated than i thought it would be! I stiln get the coconut, but in a honey coconut water way if that makes sense, not in s coconut milk Way you would smell in a smoothie. Overall 7/10

This smells as if it has patchouli in it, even though patchouli isn't listed. It smells like a fruitchouli to me, and I don't really feel like I need another one of those. Maybe it will deepen and improve with time, like so many Afnan offerings. If so I will upgrade, but at this time it's just an OK for me, and mostly because the bottle is insanely cool and weird.

I was deep in my arabic perfume phase in summer and was looking for some new scents. Lots of people recommended this one, its supposed to be similar to Olympea/Olympea Intense. My relationship with Olympea is weird. The concept sounds great to me- summery perfume with salty vanilla white floral vibes. It sounds great on paper, but in reality it does not work for me. I tried it in hot hot weather in my apartment with AC on.. and it was unbearable. There is something really offputing to me. The "fruits" or those so called "floral notes" are confusing to my nose. It smells nice from my sample, but on my skin there is immediately almost aquatic plastic note? Maybe that is something that is supposed to represent the salty note in original Olympea. Im not really picky when it comes to perfumes, I like almost everything or at least can work with almost anything. But this.. strong No for me, scrubber. But if you like Olympea/Olympea Intense and dont want to spend the money- this is great option. Longetivity and sillage are great.

I was sure I’d like this based on the notes. I blind bought it, mainly for the coconut note however, it does not scream, coconut at all. It reminds me of Private Show by Britney Spears except it’s less dense, doesn’t project as much and is missing the coffee note. Both perfumes are to sweet for me and make me feel sick to my stomach. All of the notes in this are so homogenized and therefore I can’t really pick out any one note. Nothing dominates here so it kind of just smells like a sickly sweet mess to my nose. It also smells very synthetic to me. I can see some folks liking it but it’s a hard pass for myself. If you’re familiar with and like Private Show but find it to cloying in the summer, you would probably like this one for summer or even year round.

It’s ok just a bit dated. Imagine if coconut sun from the 7 virtues wasn’t blended well, a little prickly in the opening and that’s why you get.

I don’t like it. I ended up giving it to my gramma because it was too old lady-ish for me.

This is NOT a gourmand.. SMELLS like Chanel No 5. I was disappointed by this perfume because it was hyped up on fragrance tik tok.. but after it came back in stock many were coming forward saying they did not like it. This perfume is so strong I could not get the smell off my wrist no matter how much I scrubbed with soap.. it is so PUNGENT. I would not recommend for the gourmand lovers out there or the coconut scent lovers because it does not give in either category.

This is sooo strong and polarizing. just sniffing it out of the bottle it gives me a headache. I haven't smelled Olympea Intense but I have the OG Olympia and Legere and prefer those they're amazing.

I get 0 coconut from this, which is disappointing because that's why I bought it. Just Amber and oranges. To me, it smells like a much heavier version of Victoria secret's Bare.

Salty Jasmine, Vanilla & Ambroxan... This is a dupe of Olympéa Intense Paco Rabanne with good approximation and supercharged performance. Opens with a fruity-floral burst accented by faint sunscreen-coconut nuances, and already the Olympéa Intense DNA is swelling through. As it transitions to the heart, orange-blossom emerges surrounded by other soft floral notes including an illusion of grape-leaning jasmine. The amber, salty-vanilla & musk in the base give an illusion of ambergris built with additional ambroxan, cashmeran and oud which supercharge the performance, and are more noticeable on the skin than in the air. I didn't love this at first, as the oud-y ambroxan was too forward for me, but after it's aged (more than a year) it feels like the notes are in balance now. Those not sensitive to ambroxan, cashmeran or oud might like this. It's won me over. Enjoy!

Upon the initial spray, I liked it. But about 5-10 seconds later, I went to sniff it again and out loud said "wait oh my god" because of how delicious it became as it began to settle. It's a perfect ambery warm scent while still working so well for summer weather. Also strangely enough, at some point during the drydown process I find it smells like "Like This" by ELDO, but not musty (unfortunately Like This doesn't smell great on my skin clearly). Not sure what it is that's making it smell similar, but it's only for a very short period of time. Then it turns into a cozy, warm fruity coconut. I've heard it described as tropical, but make note that it's not tropical in a coconut sunscreen way. Tropical, but not vacation-esque like that. And it's not a lactonic coconut if you're curious. Very fruity. So delicious

Reading all of the reviews, I have no idea what perfume I just got!! I get ZERO coconut, zero fruit and zero floral! The only thing I am getting is vanilla in the most watered-down way possible. I sprayed 3 full sprays on my skin and immediately got a very light powder-like vanilla, and then the scent was completely gone. I think I got a fake!!!! I sprayed another 4-5 full sprays on the same spot and it did hang around this time but very faint and still almost exclusively vanilla!! I realize ALL Arabic fragrances need to mature , but typically there is something there... I ordered it from Amazon and it was very inexpensive, only $22.00, but I have ordered MANY Arabic fragrances from Amazon with no issue, but this time I really think i got a fake!

I regifted this one. Wasn't for me. I was lead to beleive this would be tropical heaven but was met with Salt. Salt. And more salt. It's a salty coconut with sweetness. In theory that sounds nice but I do not like how this smelled on my skin. I got Papaya? I got coconut, and i got salt. It's heavy in literally every season. And its a thick scent--. Thick and salty. Yeah I didn't know what to make of this. I'm a Gourmand girl who loves coconut but I love a fresh scent too. This-- yeah I don't know where to put this in my scent collection. So it lives with someone else now.

Excuse me while I go stand next to the gramma of the reviewer below. I’m gonna compliment her on her phenomenal taste in fragrance and we’re gonna talk about how her perfume instantly made me happy. If sunshine had a smell it would be this perfume- warm, a bit salty and creamy, with some vanilla and a little orange blossom. Don’t worry, @Sudania you’re still (probably) your gramma’s favorite.

I was going for the coconut smell so I bought it. It was a blind buy. Maybe it needs to macerate but there is not one coconut in site...First smell is fruity, sweet, the dry down is amber. Nothing spectacular. Fabrication date says 2022, I bought it in 2024. Hopefully the c2O helps in a while. I will wait for the coconut!

First impression you might tell yourself « oh that’s actually close to olympea intense », but then it has a nauseous edge, like an additionnal buttery+plum (acidic) giving the ick. I absolutely adore olympea intense but this one i can’t

Never smelt the intense version before however it smells like the regular Olympia. It opens with a salty amber vanilla that becomes powdery. The dry down however is much better, less powdery and more fresh. Love it

This is a fruity coconut fragrance giving very much tropical vibes. The sillage and longevity is very impressive considering it’s price point. This is for sure blind buy safe, get it before it’s out of stock again.

Smells very similar to terre de lumiere l'occitane en provence on initial spray. It becomes fruitier....probably the passion fruit & peach. Overall a nice comforting sophisticated scent. My husband loves it!

it's a decent fruity scent, I get a tropical peach floral scent when I smell it. nothing I reach for constantly but pleasant.

Coconut up front and sweet fruit in the background. I like this fragrance and am happy to add it to my collection.
