Rare Reef

Just received this, and man it is so damn good. Like the nasty boy said, this is definitely not a 1:1 clone of pacific chill, however you can definitely smell a strong resemblance. They have a very similar DNA, as they both have that apricot-minty citrus aquatic vibe. Where it differs is it has a really punchy and realistic orange/citrus accord, and the mint is more prominent as well. That is not a bad thing, and some people may actually prefer that. I must say, this is UNBEATABLE for the price. It is extremely hard to believe a fragrance like this is 50 USD. It does not smell like a clone fragrance. The quality is incredible. It is not synthetic at all, it smells extremely fresh and very expensive. This smells like it would cost much much more. Totally blind buy safe and mass appealing as well. Furthermore, the performance relative to being a fragrance with this DNA is also amazing, as it is an extrait. I really have 0 complaints about this fragrance. I’m not even upset that it’s not a 1:1 of pacific chill. As a matter of fact, I think I might like it even more. For a fragrance in this price range it is easily top 5 of all time. It’s truly in a category of its own, and it can genuinely compete with any designer fragrance and many niche fragrances as well.

Afnan Rare Reef is easily one of the best fragrances you can wear during the summer. While it shares some of the fresh DNA of Louis Vuitton Pacific Chill, it takes things in a sweeter, fruitier, and more powerful direction while still maintaining its own identity. Performance is genuinely impressive for a fresh summer scent — I consistently get over 7 hours of wear, with strong projection throughout the day. The scent radiates beautifully, and the fact that I can still catch noticeable wafts of it every time I move says a lot about its presence. To me, this fragrance feels fun, playful, youthful, and incredibly uplifting. It has that bright, energetic character that instantly awakens the senses and puts you in a good mood. It works best for daytime wear in the summer and casual settings, although with the right outfit and confidence, it can still be pulled off in more refined situations. I’ve also received compliments while wearing it, which only adds to its appeal. Overall, Rare Reef is a vibrant, pleasant, and highly enjoyable summer fragrance that stands out without trying too hard.

Better than Pacific Chill. Yes not as natural but 95% similar scent wise and about 90% quality wise and at 30 quid who gives a shit. NOBODY has ever told me I smell synthetic lol. Orange peel with a bit of grapefruit and citron makes this refreshing. Then 10 mins in mint/basil adds to this plus a herbal green facet, non toothpaste like thankfully. It gets fruitier/sweeter at the base with apricot but remains fresh. I get 8 hours every single wearing and strong projection for 3 hours and then moderate for 2 then skin scent. This is made, not by a master perfumer, but a damn decent one. He's made reflection which is one of my fav Amouage's so the fragrance imo reflects that. Afnan took this one seriously and it paid off...seriously! 9.5/10 - I appreciate the toned down apricot as a man, just wish they could have added a sea/aquatic note in the mid/base instead but small gripe. This is fantastic! I love the way Atralia Absolute Chill smells, but the longevity for me sucks. So I traded Al Wataniah Kayaan Classic for this one, and oh boy it's great. When I first sprayed this on it was like Agent J from Men in Black when he goes from the Noisy Cricket to that huge toyetic rife "now that's what I'm talking about". I still love the Atralia's smell I just wish it lasted me. This one opens up super loud and sharp piercing citrus and mint as you would expect from a lot of great summer fragrances. I can also really smell that apricot, and kind of smell the black currant. This stuff lasts forever and projects fairly well the whole time. The dry down isn't all that nuanced or anything it just basically gets weaker over time. Excellent value, and awesome summer fragrance. Right up there with Azzaro Chrome and Hawas Ice in my book.

I was very excited for this and at first it smelt really synthetic to me for some reason. It felt like Window cleaner, but that settled down as it dried. But after few months of occassional usage i started to like this a lot.. it doesn't feel synthetic as it used to before.. my nose just found its way to this i guess.. and i'm in love with this scent. A blue lagoony tropical fruity bomb, that's what it is. Lasts long, has a good performance and i found it good to wear even in heatwaves. Heard this smells like the LV Pacific Chill, some people say it's even better. If it's true, then i really have no need to buy LV PCH ever. But if i get the opportunity, i'll be excited to try it out. But this, Rare Reef, might be one of my best summer scents for now.

My wife wears Dolce&Gabbana Q and I love that fresh orange peel note it has. Rare Reef is a great masculine leaning fragrance that starts out with that smell you get when you peel an orange. It is zesty citrus up front and after 5 minutes the sharpness dies down. It gets sweeter from the apricot. The mint and violet leaf keeps it fresh and clean. I can see where the opening is a lot for some, but give it a few minutes to dry before you cram your nose into it (as you should with any fragrance you first spay). This one is in my top 5 spring/summer bottles. A clean fresh blue minty citrus and apricot fragrance. The violet leaf gives it some depth and a little soapyness. Its faint but I can pick out hint of Davidoff Cool water or Green Irish Tweed.

I just picked this up because it was quite affordable for a 100ml bottle, and I wanted a fruity, fresh scent to rotate with my Lattafa Atlas this summer. The opening is incredibly bright and fresh, bursting with citron and mixed fruits. To be fair, it is a bit difficult for me to pick out the individual fruit notes, so to my nose, it comes across like a vibrant fruit bowl with a hint of mint—which becomes much more noticeable after the initial spray. As it dries down, the fragrance loses some of that initial brightness, transitioning into a sweet, comforting scent driven by notes of fig and date while the mint still noticeable. I'd say it has a similar vibe to vulcan feu but it's less sweet and more fresh.

First off I love this fragrance..to me it's a year rounder..to all those who say it's not strong,long lasting as well as no projection nor sillage..please stop buying middle eastern fragrances and expecting them to be at the best performance right out of the box and for the scent profile be complete where it'll be in 2 months once it macerates.. clone companies sell more bottles than the OG they're cloning..they have to make more batches more often there in they don't have as much time to macerate from the factory..for those who have sold off or given away their bottle of rare reef..your lack of patience not waiting on it to macerate and mature was a poor decision.. it's a wonderful fragrance indeed.

What I can say about this fragrances is, it’s the epitome of a fresh spring and summer fragrance. I don’t know what LV pacific chill smells like because I won’t spend that kind of money on fragrances, but being a man with many fragrances I can say this smells like a quality product that conveys the feeling I want in spring and summer. As a 40+ year old I wouldn’t wear this in a professional setting because it’s to bright and sweet but the minute I get home and the suite comes off and the shorts- jeans go on I’m wear this. This is my second Afnan fragrance and its longevity and silage is consistent and above average. Figuring in all of the above I would rate this a 8.5 out of 10.

Great! It is a citrus overload. The initial spray is a blast of citrus orange. Extremely fresh and refreshing to smell. If you were to smell this on someone on a hot summer day, you'd be begging them to come back so you can get another smell. Smelling this can essentially COOL YOU DOWN on a hot day. This fragrance is as if you are sitting at a public area during summertime, with orange juice next to you with wind blowing, causing that orange juice smell to wizz past your nose. This is a wonderful cologne. Easy 9/10. This isn't anything new or ground-breaking, but it is just OBJECTIVELY good.

I highly recommend picking this up at the sub 40$ price point. This has a very addictive high quality clean tarty fruit musk scent - the slight muskiness keeps it from being too sweet. It lasts all day, has amazing projection and sillage, and It draws people in; I get compliments all the time when I wear this. However, In my opinion although you can wear it alone, I think this is the ultimate layering fragrance. I layer this with Supremacy In Heaven, or Marwa or other fresh scents - keeping Rare Reef as an under layer scent. This is the ultimate way to wear this scent in my opinion.

Imagine a photorealistinc minty-aquatic orange juice by the beach with peaches, musk and faded orange in the drydown. This fragrance has very high quality ingredients which you usually smell in fragrances like, you guessed it, Louis Vuitton. The bottle looks nice and gives value to the juice inside while its price remains abysmal. Had and tested many arabian fragrances but this one got its #2 place into my collection after Luna Rossa EDT especially for summer, safe blind buy too but it's so well made that its incredible they managed to sell it for this cheap.

Very strong citrus fruity mint mix. Was expecting something more blue or maybe fresh but what I got was an original mix. I'll be wearing this fragrance all summer. So far the projection seems good but I'm a little nose blind right now so I will assume all the long lasting comments are real. Amazing stuff. Edit: Wore this for 5 days in a row. Lots of compliments and a few people wanted to buy it for themselves. I was afraid this smelled a little too girly but its masculine for sure. When I wash my shirt a full day after wearing, I can still smell this stuff.

A juicy orange scent that borders on being pungent but doesn't reach that point. I really like this and will be happy to use this during the spring and summer. Those that love orange scents will likely love this one. It's also decidedly masculine which I appreciate, many sweet fruit scents tend to be unisex or too feminine leaning for my tastes. Performance is great. Lasts a long time on skin and keeps going on clothes till the next day. Easy for me to recommend as I am a fan of sweet orange scents. Overall a great pick and stand out for me.

And “Rare Reef” perfectly embodies the essence of my life.

My favorite citrus fragrance in my small collection ,, it's juicy , refreshing and has a good performance I noticed some hints of marine notes and musk in the dry down however it has some negative points • the orange note here smells so synthetic, not realistic at all , it doesn't smell like orange peel, not orange juice ,, it's just like any generic orange candy if you know .. not bad at all but not realistic • I didn't like the fig but I'm glad it didn't last for long

My 1st fragrance and my first time reviewing it. I got it 1 week back. Beautiful presentation and box ,Feels quality. Coming to the fragrance. I don't actually smell a lot of notes mentioned above. All my newbie nose can smell is fresh juicy orange 🍊 And I love that smell. Refreshing as hell. And I didn't particularly notice the fragrance evolve over time. Now i have left it to macerate and I will comeback after 2 months with a detailed review.

People saying this smells nothing like LV Pacific Chill and downvoting are delusional, first this is not clone of anything, having similar vibe or going after that DNA doesnt mean they are cloning it or doing twist, this as is it is, its magnificent, perfect summer vibes, stop hating on something you expect to be your dream scent and turnsout not to be your taste, this is true masterpiece and for the price are few that can rival quality.

I loooove this one. I have decants of Pacific Aura, Vibe, Pinnace, and Pacific Chill. This is my favorite out of the bunch. The mint and basil in this one is just so good!!! To me, Pacific Chill smells like this one Hermes frag I can't remember and Pacific Aura just goes away after 2 hrs or so. Vibe is dookie. If you're looking for the most accurate one it's definitely Pinnace. It's like they rebottled but the bottle is so corny.

after do sum research for me to buying versatile UAE perfume (this is my first UAE btw), i got this reccomendation from Indonesian perfumes community on facebook, so i buy it. And when i spray it i really into it even blind buy, i like it so muchhhhh, the smells on my nose its like orange, orange, orange, and orangeee so much orange on my nose rragghhhhh (shot out Indonesian perfumes community on facebook)

Excellent fragrance. I'd describe it as smooth, rounded, and incredibly pleasant. It reminds me of the Louis Vuitton style of perfumery, not because it smells like an LV fragrance, but because of its quality and refinement. To my nose, I mostly get orange, apricot, a touch of mint, and a subtle hint of citron, all blended together beautifully rather than any one note dominating. Really beautiful scent.

cringy comments lol. Official notes by afnan literally said this contains oranges and citruses. So yeah i expected it too smell like citruses. Opening is a hit of realistic orange peel mixed with some citruses, after half an hour it settles down more aquatic and minty with orange in the background. Great overall summer scent. Its fresh, bright and not complex. Just a easy grab and go scent. 8/10

I have Rare Reef and Pacific Aura both are good but Rare Reef lasts very long Pacific Aura is also good but it lean’s on More Minty side I love that as well go for Rare Reef if you want longevity it’s beast mode go for Pacific Aura if you want Minty Version of Pacific Chill Both are 10/10 Both are really good but But go with Rare Reef as it last’s long and Pacific Aura does not last that long.

One of my top 5 fragrances. Can wear it in any weather and performs. Projection and sillage are top tier. Inspired by pacific chill and I have a decant of the OG and it’s not 1 of 1. OG is lighter. This is an extrait but the dna is done amazingly. Lasts all day. You won’t need more than 3-4 for sprays but even if you did more no one would complain.

For someone that is looking for a no Brainer perfume, this is it. And for someone like me who doesn’t look for complexities in dupes, this will remind of pacific chill, but will also inform it’s own twist. And for a fresh perfume, the longevity is very appreciable. Can last upto 8-9 hours depending on the weather and temperature

this is the best fragrances i've ever have. citrusy and fresh it's feel like fruit alley of department store. longevity is insane, i will repurchased this again and again. i don't really know how LV PC likes, because this scent feels like designer or something. looking for another notes like this from Rayhaan Pacific Aura.

I don't know what to think about this fragrance. I personally enjoy it. Actual freshie that performs! Although 2 close people to me hate it. They say they get headaches when they smell it, and there is something harsh that doesn't align with their noses. Nevertheless, I bought it, and I like to wear it occasionally.

Its a very refined and elegant Apricot scent, it projects like a monster and lasts pretty damn long too. I dont really get the mint note though, i do get the orange for the first few 30 minutes and then its just a refreshing juicy apricot. Definitely blind buy safe and good for that summer heat. 9/10.

This has to be the best fresh scent I’ve ever put my nose to. From that sparkling orange peel opening then with the apricot taking over, you just have to trust me and smell this. Plus it gave me good 8 hours and 3 hours as a skin scent. 8/10 as a fresh scent. Impressed

I love this scent! I bought it to put in my rotation for the summer and I fear I might have found my new signature scent! It is very refreshing and strong. I am amazed how long it lasts. If you are interested in a fruity more masculine leaning scent, pick this one up!

Ts clears Pacific aura in every way except the bottle design it looks so ahh that's why I haven't copped it. Genuinely such a nice citrus opening compared to sm messy ahh Pacific aura. I would cop this in the future if I can get over the bottle design rlly solid.

I blind bought this fragrance and I can tell you it is one of my favorite ones now! I can't see how someone could dislike this, it's fresh (fruity and minty) and could last easily 7-12 hours. And for its price it's hard to find something better. Loved it!

The best blue fragrance I've ever smelt. Truly blew my mind that such a little fragrance can smell this good. It's got that shampoo lemon smell but not the generic one a unique smell you'd smell in a new car but 100x better. Lasted a whole day on my wrist

I bought it together with Kaaf, I thought I would hate Reef and love Kaaf but the opposite is true... I recommend this summer fragrance if you want to smell like summer but without the overhyped sweet coconut smell.

This stuff is great! Off the bat get a fresh mint, grapefruit and orange. Very well put together. Better then Pacific Aura, very close to Pacific chill. I will be using a lot of this and a steal for $25.

Amazing interpretation of LV Pacific Chill, I don’t understand what everyone is complaining about. Might even better better than the OG imo. Only thing i don’t like about this is the musk in the drydown

Hella long lasting compared to the OG. Sprayed it on a shirt that ended up filling my whole room up for the next 2-3 days straight. Projects rlly nicely, doesnt attack noses but definitely fills rooms.

Great, great everyday smell. Once I spray this on myself, I feel instantly refreshed. Opening smells like a fresh lemon/lime rind and the dry down feels abit more like a tiny bit sour lemonade.
