Rare Tiffany

If you like CASHMERAN. Let's start with the bottle. Designed to look like a jewelled grenade, the bottle is hitting the mark as this is definitely a beast mode explosion of scent. With a strange mix of reviews, this musky white-floral & cashmeran beauty needs several months of dark storage after first sprays to develop. Opens with a sweet tropical burst (ylang, jasmine & rose) and dries down into a creamy & musky white floral with mushroom & nutmeg nuances (gardenia - not listed) scent. There is a faint sunscreen vibe to the base, and the mix of fruit overlaying the white-florals strongly gives an overall impression of violet to my nose. There's a lingering cashmeran note here that may not work for everyone. Comparison to Purr Katy Perry: These are not the same, but they are similar, both having violet accord overlaying what smells like gardenia to me (creamy & musky white floral with mushroom & nutmeg nuances). Gardenia is more forward in Rare Tiffany. Comparison to Yara Lattafa: These are different scents, but comparable. Yara has been compared to a 'strawberry milkshake', and Rare Tiffany would be a tropical/violet milkshake by comparison. 'Milkshake' may be a bit misleading however, although the gardenia gives a creaminess this is more a heady floral than gourmand, with a faint sunscreen vibe. Comparison to Pink Brilliance English Laundry: These are different scents again, but comparable. Pink Brilliance having more rose than violet overlaying the creamy gardenia. Overall: above average performance, however, this is a scent you need to spray and store for up to a year. The cashmeran here may still be too much for some, but those not sensitive to cashmeran including fans of Alien Mugler might enjoy this. Enjoy!

I became intrigued with this company after buying a couple of Afnan colognes for my husband. He told me he's received more compliments on his Afnan colognes than *any* he's ever worn. They are among the best quality among fragrances at their low price point. Given how good his colognes were, I had to try Afnan for myself. Rare Tiffany is a surprisingly good scent. I hate sugary sweet scents (caramel can often go wrong). I don't like cloying vanilla. I love florals, but don't like suffocating, heavy white/yellow florals. So, I was prepared to be disappointed. Amazingly, Afnan managed to create a fragrance with all these elements and make it amazing. The ylang-ylang, jasmine, musk, and a hint of rose float effortlessly on a beautiful base of predominantly sandalwood. The caramel is undetectable as carmel, thank goodness; the vanilla isn't too sweet and finds its place in the blend without overpowering the composition. The whole blend is gorgeous and profoundly feminine. The notes are clear and harmonious. Most importantly, I feel great wearing it. This is a gem! And the bottle is lovely, too. Safe blind buy if you are a floral lover looking for an easy frag to throw on. Also a great introduction into florals for anyone trying to get their nose into them. The scent opens with jasmine and creamy ylang. Nothing ground breaking but super pleasant. This quickly turns a touch sweeter, I would think from the caramel but never goes too sweet. Its a great balance of white/yellow florals, grounded by creamy sandlwood and a hint of sweetness. The longer is sets on the skin, more of the spices come out (very faint). To my nose, I get some tuberose in there as well. Call me crazy, but on the first few minutes of dry down, it reminded me of Rouge and Vert malachite. Not a dupe!!!! But those are safe floral scents that are straight up addicting, in my opinion. This is not a beast performer but has an excellent presence. Super safe for everyday, year round, and all occasions. Very feminine in my opinion and the bottle, is gorgeous. This gem is around $30 bucks, you cannot go wrong!

Wow, this is such a good perfume. The only bad thing I noticed after wearing it for a whole day is that longevity is not great. It lasted me like from 8am until 12pm. At first spray, it's very strong, sharp, fresh and kind of uneasy, but then it calms down into a fresh but sweet, very unique scent. It smells like a floral but with caramel, which, thank God it's there to balance it out. There's more to it than florals and caramel. This is a very well blended fragrance. Like the reviewers say, this is one of those "smell expensive on a budget" perfumes. This is one of my unique ones. I cannot compare it to anything else (and I've smelled hundreds of fragrances). Definitely unique and addictive. You can't stop smelling your wrist. I bought it blindly and I'm so glad I did. I don't recommend that you buy it blindly as I can see how it may be polarizing. I have it right now on my night stand and I'm sitting three feet from it, and I constantly get wafts of it.

This is your tacky aunt from the 90s that was loud ,had the terry cloth romper. High heels,with her bold gold jewelry and her long nails. A little cheap, but means well .and is very loving and couldn't live with out her. The gardenia is what makes this wearable if it was just the ylang it wouldn't be as wearable. It's deffintely florida casino sun tan lotion in the air mingling with the buffets. It's fun! Loud and cheap! I 'll be buying another bottle. It's going for under 20 bucks now maybe ill stock up. Enjoy!

I love Rare Tiffany to pieces! I totally disagree with its compression to the Tiffany perfumes. This one is more complex than the Tiffany perfume. Rare Tiffany also has more staying power and that moderately ginger caramel dry down sets it apart from any of the safe smellingTiffiany fragrances. I don't think anyone can go wrong with this, very much blind buy worthy. I find I can pull this off all year round,.from the coldest winter to a hot summer night..

I first go this recommendation from Perfume nest. The only reason I wanted it was because of the colour of the bottle. It’s very oceans. When I sprayed it, I knew I would love it because it has jasmine in there. It starts off floral and gently blends into a caramel floral scent. It’s very addictive. If you’re not feminine, you can’t pull this off. This is a very good affordable fragrance

I had already written a review a few months ago, but wanted to share that I agree with what others have said, I liked it at first sniff but it’s even better after being stored for a few months. To me this is perfect for hot summer evenings in a pretty sundress. To me it still smells slightly beachy in a good way, like some sort of high-end body product you’d get at a resort. Lovely!

This is an absolutely stunning fragrance and was a love at first sniff for me. The ylang ylang is the star of the show and is blended to perfection with the other florals. The caramel note is quite subtle and stays in the background - but I can smell it more as I wear it throughout the day. Rare Tiffany is easily one of my top fragrances in my collection.

This is a compliment magnet when I wear it, I do think my skin loves ginger. I was in work yesterday and like 3 people said "is that your perfume?/omg what is that it smells amazing) one of them ordered it on the spot lol. This is very warm but fresh at the same time and floral. It's a love from me. If you like ginger and pink pepper try it out.

Bought on a whim after a YouTube review and am delighted by it. The presentation is lovely and the scent is amazing. Excellent warm weather wearability but flexible for all occasions I feel. It’s new to me so I will update after I become more familiar with it but first impressions are wonderful. Brilliant blind buy 🙂

Musky sweet floral. Ylang rose caramel ending. It’s different, but pretty. Very femme. I actually really like this more after a 2nd test. Warm weather appro. and almost beachy. Would be great over coconut lotion! The dry down becomes really floral sweet, with a slight headache inducing pink pepper/ginger kick.

This is a lovely scent, sweet and floral with a hint of spice. The ginger and pepper notes keep it from being just a yellow flower bomb. Ylang ylang can be a challenging note for me as it’s pretty heavy, but this is very well balanced. Rare Tiffany will be in heavy rotation this spring and summer.

I really love this peice. It's the most perfume I'm wearing this summer either alone or in combination with others. I'm usually layering it with Hacivat by nishane which gives a beautiful flowery spicy deep summer scent. It's a unique still simple scent, isn't similar to others. Thanks Afnan🥰

I’m in the same boat as the previous poster. Bought this blindly after seeing positive reviews, while I was looking for something like this. I was not disappointed! I see myself wearing this a lot in the spring and summer especially. Beautiful scent and pretty packaging!

This was a successful blind buy for me. Airy flowers and musc. I find the ylang ylang very prominent and it is giving a more summery vibe to the fragrance. I find it quite aquatic in the opening and I really love that. For me it is a really feminine and adorable scent.

I feel like this is what Phlur's Missing Person would smell like without the rancid animalic note. Definitely a vintage-smelling perfume with a prominent ylang yang note. I agree with other reviewers that the chlorine-like note is quite pleasant!

I love it! It can be overpowering if you spray more than 2- 3 times. Otherwise, I find myself sniffing my wrist each time I move atound and get a whiff. Definitely a date night or special occasion parfume.

A pleasant scent. All-year-round, yellow floral woody, feminine, for everyday use. It smells familiar, yet I don't have anything in my collection that smells like this. Definitely a blind buy success.

I purchased this about a month ago and upon first sniff, I found it weird and synthetic. There was an odd sharp spicy note that came through right away, I thought perhaps it was the ginger. It wasn’t the usual solvent smell that indicates you need to let it mature. I could sense the florals but found it to be an odd blend of spicy and floral. I really wasn’t impressed. A month later, I pulled her out and sprayed it to try to remember what I didn’t like about it. Let me tell you- a complete transformation!!! This is amazing!! It now, in no way, resembles what I first smelled!! It is gorgeous! I agree, the ylang ylang is front and center! It is so feminine and elegant now! It has a great sillage and lasts in my skin all day! I couldn’t be happier! So good! Update-wore this all day yesterday,(6/4/26) I have been “saving it” because I truly love it so much! So it has been in my collection for well over a year and a few months. I have to say that it has become even smoother than it was. However, I found it faded incredibly quickly or I went noseblind. Nobody mentioned my fragrance and someone usually comments, knowing I love my perfumes! I think it faded away ☹️I reapplied a couple times throughout the day and still couldn’t smell it. It was amazingly long lasting when it was newer but now, not so much. I sprayed it on my hand tonight and it seems to be lasting but I have to say, the longevity wasn’t the best in the heat. It was around 78 Fahrenheit so not super hot either. I may wear this more in the spring when it’s cooler. It’s gorgeous but I want to smell it in myself.

Someone gave me a bunch of Arabic perfume samples. This one is the first one I tried, and I must say I am very impressed! I didn't expect much, but this scent is very soft and inoffensive. On my skin it's dominantly a silky combination of jasmine (I love jasmine), spicy vanilla and musk. In the drydown most of the flowers go away and it becomes a wonderfully soft musk with a hint of ylang. This is a very uplifting scent! Quite sexy and feminine. I will be going back to this sample for sure. Performance is good, I can still smell it after 6 hours. I read some reviews here, and wow, I must be lucky with my skin chemistry, because it smells wonderful. But also it's winter now, so I think it's softer and less aggressive now. Nothing is offensive about it.

Reminds me of Tiffany & CO. I tried T&Co a few years ago, and I wasn't a fan so I never gave a try do to it's sharp opening. However, after trying this, I would like to revisit it. I a heavy heavy dose of jasmine sambac and ylang. If there is rose, I don't get any of it. I also get the creamy musk and sandlewood, as well as the spiciness of the ginger and pepper. Vanilla and caramel are there, but this is not a gourmand fragrance. They are there to balance the spiciness. It's a good fragrance. Also, someone mentioned a chlorine note, and they are right. It's the heavy jasmine. In some fragrances, a jasmine this heavy can smell like cat urine, ammonia, or chlorine.

If you go by the notes listed, it seems like Rare Tiffany would be a good, warmer weather, daytime fragrance. On me, however, it’s strong, woody-spicy, and leans toward being a date nite scent. I don’t love this, because I don’t have many opportunities to wear it. It’s WAY too much to be office-friendly, and in hot, sunny weather, it’s suffocating and headache-inducing. However, at night, this is sweet, spicy, and delicately nuanced. I’m thinking it would be perfect for dinner out, or an outdoor summer festival after sunset. It’s super pretty, so I’ll just wait for the right occasion to use it.

As the scent pyramid above suggests, this is a woody musky fragrance. The Ylang Ylang and jasmine are present, but at the end of the day the musk and sandalwood give this its character. I'm not alway fond of ginger in perfumes (I detest Twilly) but the ginger here is subdued enough that it isn't objectionable. The vanilla and caramel are also subdued and mainly serve to soften the woods and floral notes. I don't think I have any other scents in my wardrobe that remind me of Rare Tiffany, certainly not Chant d'Aromes!

This is my first time using this. It's been sitting unopened in my collection for over a year. I thought it would be more unique than it is from the reviews that I have seen. I get a pretty, somewhat sweet light yellow fragrance. O don't get any of the spicy base notes. Maybe the longer that the fragrance sits, I will get more of the spicy notes. As is, it's a [pretty floral for spring and summer. Nothing special but not offensive either. A solid like from me.

This is somewhere between a like and a love for me. It's complex but really pretty. My initial reaction was that this could easily be a wedding scent. It smells expensive, sophisticated, elegant, and very feminine. Right out of the box, it's a very strong floral, so it would be interesting to see if it transforms or softens a bit after it macerates. It's a good balance of classic and modern. The opening can be a bit harsh if you overspray so be careful. :-)

I couldn’t put my finger on it for a few wears then I realized ... Chanel No5 ! The yellow & white floral, sandalwood, rose, powder, woods, all the same. Rare Tiff doesnt have Aldehydes in its notes like No5 but it does have a soapy element. It’s pleasant, not my favorite maybe in 5 years or so as I am 28 and No5 it’s a mid 30s-forever perfume. For the price and the beauty of the bottle I am not mad at the purchase!

Beautiful floral. Easy to wear signature scent. For those who are wondering, no, this is not inspired by Tiffany by Tiffany. They are both beautiful florals but nothing else. Rare Tiffany is a separate perfume. Quite mature. Has a late 1990s feel. Suited to cooler weather below 75F. Not a summer perfume. Too heavy and lingering in high heat.

Very alluring and could indeed be an Alien flanker, seductive old-school jasmine+ylang thing. Slightly uptight, just enough. Could come off as dated (90s), but if youre into slightly undercovertly dirty jasmine+ylang go for it (if you can find it that is) Edit: this is totally Idylle by Guerlain

Pleasant, affordable, and beautiful looking bottle. I bought it because of the name, I'm not a lover of flowers but this is nice, is no Chanel No. 5 but don't expect that for less than $50. I got compliments wearing it.

I am shocked at how good this is. Besides the very nice presentation and bottle, it smells beautiful. Very feminine and the silage and longevity are out of this world 🌎 🌷💕

This is a really unique scent! I get lots of compliments on it. It's definitely warm and spicy, but the florals keep it from being too heavy. The sandalwood is lovely.

Don't go by the rating, which is 4.57. And don't go by the listed notes. This fragrance is a laboratory invention. This perfume is not made in France, but in the United Arab Emirates. It's a basic mixture of sweet florals, citrus, and spices that fades in a short amount of time. It's nothing like Chanel No. 5, which one reviewer here asserted. Nothing at all. There's only a tiny trace of sandalwood, nothing to write home about. This perfume is not the caliber of a French perfume. Not sure it was worth the money. For the same price ($40 range), I could have bought Madame Rochas or Youth-Dew. I think I'm done blind buying for the moment. And if this inflation keeps kicking in, probably for the rest of the year. Buy with caution.

I wish I really liked this - for some reason, I can't smell what other people are smelling, and it's really disappointing me. I get musky, slightly nondescript florals. Ylang might be the most identifiable, but other than that, I can't seem to pinpoint what exactly doesn't jive with me. It's not bad in any way, it's actually very pretty, but i don't see myself wearing this at all. I guess I'll just have to settle for enjoying it on whoever I gift it to.

Many seem to think this is clearly feminine, perhaps because it's labeled for women. I personally don't agree with that. I think this is slightly leaning feminine, but would smell good on a guy too. There's spiciness and freshness that make it unisex for me. And the opening is not too strong of a flowerbomb like I excpected. Over all I think this perfume is kinda meh. It doesn't smell bad but it's boring and easy to forget.

I really wish that I smelled what everyone else is describing. To me it smells like a classic 'mature woman who wears too much of that floral perfume she bought in the 80s" scent with an undercurrent of caramel. In a weird way it reminds me of Pepper spray

I must admit I really don't get the hype. This is a kind of generic, unmemorable scent that gets cult following. To my nose it's diluted, watery musky, aquatic perfume, very safe for any occassion. Not my vibe at all.

Average woody - musky - floral scent, it is ok for every day use, but I can’t find the reason to keep it in the collection. Medium projection and lasts 5-7 h depending on the skin type and weather.

Similar feeling as Rare Passion but changing the rose for Ylang Ylang. Too musky/powdery for my taste but a good perfume overall.

Boring. I expected so much more from this...

A sharp & spicy clean fragrance.

Bought it after reading some reviews about it, maybe also some videos too, but I ended up not liking it. Thankfully it was inexpensive. I do use it, just not on its own. I can tolerate Rare Tiffany only by layering it with something else that has a significant amount of vanilla scent in it to tone down whatever that is in Rare Tiffany that is annoying me, or by layering it with a 3rd something that has a strong amount of rose in it. To add more vanilla and rose seems so slightly cancel out what scent is bothering me. I like floral perfume, but I guess with this purchase I have learned that this one just might have been too strong for my taste, or that intense/strong or spicy florals really are not for me. Something about it is just overwhelming or too strong for my taste. I am not really sure what it could be that is bothering me. Because all the listed notes appealed to me, maybe it's ylang ylang, but I love Good Girl Blush which happens to have ylang ylang. And I remember way back, liking Amarige (which I think also has ylang ylang). I will have to chalk it up to being a learning experience. Thankfully it was an inexpensive learning experience.

I am so confused. I adore all the listed notes, but don’t perceive most of them in this perfume. I get jasmine and rose in the first two hours, then a musty, chemical miasma, followed by a very close to the skin caramel after about 8 hours. Blind bought this after a success with Rare Reef. Today was my first wear after two weeks of maturation. It was horrid on the day it arrived-smelled like nail polish remover. I’m going to set it aside for another month to see if it develops further. Today I found it thin and musty, in the same way I find Jasmin Sacre by Weldon London to be musty. A review below mentioned a chlorine smell and I’m definitely getting that, along with some formaldehyde. It’s not the lovely pool water chlorine note that makes Strawberry Pool by Salum Parfums sparkle, it’s more like laundry bleach. I know my thoughts here aren’t well organized, but neither is this fragrance. If it improves with further maturation I’ll circle back with an update.

I had really high hopes for this one, have been watching some great reviews and turned out to not liking it. It's too strong for me, I love floral scents but it's too generic, too screechy and ordinary. Unmemorable. It smells like a cream deodorant that my mom used back in the day = it smells cheap. Thanks God I purchased a decant and I actually gave it to her. Maybe this is a too mature scent for me, gramma vibes, I don't know. It's nothing out of this world but it's also not a terrible scent. It actually gets really better on the dry down, maybe it depends on the skin chemistry or as people are mentioning over here, it got reformulated. Still a no for me.

I was intrigued by the mixed reactions to this fragrance and so I was glad to get my nose on a tester. I'll start by saying it's not a suitable blind buy fragrance. I expected a yellow floral, slightly spicy and woody fragrance... it was not. It was a white floral, musky, sweet mess... the notes all seemed jarred together and out of place. I wish I could smell what some fragheads are smelling, I couldn't. But remember, same fragrance, different skin chemistries.

I tried. I wanted to like it but it just doesn’t work on me. The scent reminds me of a water park. Chlorine, concrete, and a hint of urine mixed with sweet smells of concession stands.
