Souvenir Blooming Bliss

Arabic perfumes can be soooo hit or miss (usually a miss) they get your hopes up and either they don’t perform, they don’t evolve or they just smell ehh. Every so often you find one that’s niche, or high designer worthy!! THIS? Is a KEEPER!! It’s not spot on BUT, it’s very very close and I have a feeling with a month of maceration (I don’t think it will need long) it’s going to develop what I can smell is the coconut but it’s light and the vanilla waiting to pop!! They’re all there the notes, the palo santo is what I smell the most atm then the coconut but it’s a light coconut NOT sunscreen at all! And the vanilla is there this is simple...but really lovely and a man or woman would get away this!! I’ve been waiting over a year after smelling vanilla powder, for a dupe!! And thinking no one would make it (it seems like Arabic houses do the same stuff over and over like 100 my ways or libre or oud) so I was thrilled when I heard there are two out!! I think the other one is a Lattafa and then there’s this! TikTok was pushing the slightly cheaper Lattafa (so I went against that!! Ha I don’t trust TikTok) and the second reason I also chose this? Was the other one didn’t have palo santo listed and this one does! And palo santo was a note I wanted it’s what makes vanilla powder special....so I chose this I honestly think that a little bit of maceration not that long and I think even warmer weather? Might really make this blossom!! Also I noticed it’s much sweeter ON clothing than on skin! So far ... So if you like wood? You’ll like this! This is a love of a blind buy!! Someone mentioned below they get booze? I don’t at all. Someone mentioned below no coconut, it is there but it’s faint I truly think macerate this a few weeks!! I think it’s just got to breathe a bit!

I just had this delivered to me as a late birthday gift from my brother, as my birthday was last week. Oh my God! This is the vanilla fragrance that I have been looking for ALL MY LIFE! Souvenir Blooming Bliss is stunning. Absolutely gorgeous. Completely mesmerizing. It's sweet with a hint of coconut. But that vanilla? Good Lord. I can't stop sniffing my hands. I have a feeling my mother will attempt to share this with me, so I have to hide this anytime I am leaving the house. This is for that IT girl who likes to look and feel good. Of course, smelling good comes naturally to her. I feel like this will work for both day and night. Hot or cold weather. Work, play, and in-between. Because it's an Arab perfume, I am sure it is also going to macerate. I can't wait to see what it turns into then. If you can get your hands on this, please do.

Don't be fooled by the bottle adorned with a rose bouquet! This fragrance has nothing to do with rose notes. It's a clone that surpasses the original Vanilla Powder by Matiere Premiere. On my dry skin, it comes across as much sweeter and has less dry sandalwood than the original. The key difference with Blooming Bliss lies in the combination of Palo Santo, Caramel and Coconut, which creates a slightly floral sweet accord opening. This eventually evolves into a beautifully sweet, somewhat light powdery vanilla and sandalwood dry-down. The balance is so remarkable that it elevates the fragrance to a more sophisticated vanilla scent. Definitely a must have type of fragrance. Updated on 04/01/2025

It is an absolute wonder to sniff, it's a beautiful vanilla-coco mixture with some woodiness. But for the untrained nose like mine, it smells exactly the same as Khadlaj's Fursan White. I far prefer Fursan's bottle, Souvenir Blooming Bliss is strange to say the least. Some people will love the uniqueness of the design and will want to display it I guess. Let's see what a good few months of maturation do to both of those. But unlike most ME perfumes, this one performs well straight out of the box so it can only get better!

At first spray, I honestly thought this fragrance was a total miss. it just smelled like straight alcohol. But once it dried down, everything changed. The scent that emerged was smooth, addictive, and had me constantly sniffing my arm. It really needs time to show its true character. Projection is solid without being too much. A lot of people say it smells like vanilla powder, which I get, but to me it also has a vibe similar to Punk Motel by Coreterno. It went from “what is this?” to “wow, this is actually so good.”

I regularly keep palo santo in my home and I love the smell, and I also love lightning sweet candles. This parfume is giving me this perfect mix of beautiful palo santo, to me its very prominent and vanilla. Its sophisticated from the first sniff, as of now its more of a skin scent so I can't wait to see what it will become after 1 month. The more it sits on the skin, the woodier and sweeter it gets, but right now im not getting much caramel. This is an all year round parfume! I will update in a month

Blooming bliss has quickly become my special occasions scent. It opens with some undisclosed fruity, which stays for the entirety of the life of the fragrance but is subdued by a sweet, creamy, airy and fluffy coconut, vanilla and soft caramel combo. Then there is the creamy and slightly nutty Sandalwood. It has a pervasive tropical vibe i love. I find to be extremely long lasting (over 12 hours) with massive projection. This always gets me compliments.

Absolutely gorgeous 😍 I'm beyond thrilled with this. It took me a hell of a long time to get my grubby mitts on this but I'm so glad I persevered. I had to sell my backup bottle of Vanilla Powder and this has stepped in and helped ease the agony until it can be replaced. But when I do BB will not be cast aside. Nope. Not even the outlandishly ridiculous bottle will keep me from loving and appreciating it. Ma belle rose laide!

Blooming Bliss.. It is Sweet, Playful, Youthful. It smells like vanilla, sugary, candy like but not overly sweet still enjoyable especially on woman. Performance long lasting as the price. Office scent is okay but not sweating activities. I'll let my wife use this fragrance 🫶🏻 *If i have one :( Rate? 9/10 ✨

Very approved!! And even it worth a backup bottle🤗 I loved , yes the resemblance with Vanilla Powder is 70% to 80% . I'm very glad I got this. ❤️❤️❤️ Vanilla Powder is my favorite fragrance between all my 124 perfumes ❤️❤️❤️

I love this fragrance and I can’t speak on if it smells like vanilla powder or not cause I’ve not had my nose on that but this was a love at first sniff and I intend to gatekeep it 😔😔 I’m sorry.

I’m love this. It’s sweet vanilla, but not overpowering. It’s comforting and sexy at the same time. A definite compliment getter. It projects well and lasts at least 8 hours on me.

afnan's dupes have been pretty hit or miss for me and this isn't a faitful recreation of vanilla powder for me personally. i have owned a 10ml sampler in the past and i can tell you right off the bat that vanilla powder is a lot thicker and sweeter. blooming bliss is a lot airier and muskier. like a LOT muskier. i'd say this is more of a musk fragrance then a vanilla fragrance. Vanilla powder smells like sweet sugar cookies while blooming bliss is your every day kind of light vanilla fragrance that's pretty inofensive. they do not compare.

Best vanilla fragrance ive ever had in my life!! But it took 2 months and half to get rid of the famous synthetic smell afnan fragrance have before maceration is established. Longevity and projection are beast, I’m amazed ; i know a fragrance will always be part of my collection if each time applying it, im already thinking of another backup bottle. Edit : i never tried vanilla powder edp, but i got the extrait version (new one). And just to say, this version is IDENTICAL. But Afnan’s one overperforms the extrait one from Matiere Premiere

Okay, a wrote a review here before but changed my mind. I just went to the luxury fragrance boutique with my bottle of blooming bliss in my bag. I compared it to vanilla powder and holy... they’re identical. The bottle only has 1/3 left but macerating has helped it tremendously. Vanilla powder is still a bit smoother but the scent is pretty much IDENTICAL!

A much softer version. I actually find this to be more coconut than the OG, particularly in the dry down. It's definitely not as potent, and certainly not 1:1, but it's a nice fragrance nonetheless. Khadlaj Fursan White is closer to the OG, in my opinion.

It’s nice, pretty unisex leaning. Reminds me a lot of Imperiale Peacock by Alexandre.J. Musky, woody, nutty and a little sweet and powdery. Comforting in some ways and a little unusual to my nose.

Silly me, I definitely fell for the hype on this one. I thought it's going to be a creamy, coconut forward vanilla fragrance :( Sure, it smells NICE and PRETTY but it's not currently what I'm looking for at the moment. I'm not looking for a gourmand but this fragrance smells surprisingly way too light and musky than I imagined. I had my partner smell this and he said "smells like I'm in bath and body works" which to me, translates to : smells generic, which was also my first thought when I first used it. I think this is safe to use in office and will probably be amazing to wear during spring/summer :)

To me it opens up like a powdery boozy Commodity Milk with a bit of dark chocolate liquor.🥃 I am getting this boozy milk note that gets darker and darker in the dry down until it becomes almost animalic. To me it's a masculine, "sexy man", a seductive perfume of a predatory man. Definitely a unique date night scent - and one that leaves a sillage of a dark sexy mystery. I anticipated a vanillic gourmand comfort girly scent but instead it's a sexy beast with a bit of a "male cologne" vibe. I decided to keep it :))) even though it's leaning a bit masculine it's not going to stop me from rocking it :)

I really do like the dry down, it's pretty! I don't think I have ever smelled Vanilla Powder (unless quickly in store), but I saw a TikToker telling the dry down is really similar. However, the opening really ruins this one for me. I totally agree with some comments below. There's definitely an ambroxan note altough not listed. Thankfully it fades after a while, but unfortunately it's a note I don't get along. I also think the perfume is a weird mixture of femimine and masculine. The opening is really unisex to me, but it get's more feminine once it dries down.

I found this scent disappointing, unfortunately. For one, it was far too light—I could barely smell it at first. While it does have a clean scent profile, it’s not heavy on vanilla, which I typically enjoy. I had high hopes, especially because of the notes, but it didn’t quite live up to my expectations. I was particularly excited about the palo santo note, but it just didn’t stand out the way I hoped

First impressions it’s really strong! Wow. I was not expecting it to be this loud. There’s def that ambroxan/amber/baccaraty vibe I’m getting. I’m also getting a decent dose of orange blossom and I’m not seeing it in the note breakdown but my nose gets it... I’m interested to see how this develops. As of right now it’s still very sharp.

I’m trying really hard to like this but the ambroxan is unfortunately a bit too much for me. I wish it were sweeter.

This is dry alcohol woody powder I NEVER got anny coconut or vanilla is it just me ?? and I smell really no sweetness at all!! When I first bought it I knew it would be very woody etc (but I had not yet gotten my nose on the OG) I let it sit for a few months and it still was just alcohol woody and dry... I didn’t want a gourmand! Nor did I want a spot on dupe I wanted just a bit of the coconut and vanilla but it was just so DRY... that’s what this scent gives me!! I’m curious I’d the Fursan white (the more popular one) is as dry as this or the og VP?? I want the vp vibe but sweetened up just a tiny touch!? If anyone knows which schmupe is A TOUCH sweeter lmk?!Thx this is dry alcohol and woody. Period.

I have to agree with another commenter below-this smells like straight alcohol and maybe it’s from a bad batch. I’ve had it well over a year and it’s rubbing alcohol that dries down to maybe the most vague essence of vanilla and coconut. Very disappointing because I wanted to love it. Plus side is I do love the bottle design, it’s so tacky and weird which I can appreciate.

I just got this, so it might change some. I need to let it sit. Right now I’m getting the same masculine vibe in Souvenir Blooming Bliss as I get in Miami Nectar. This is not a dupe by any means, but it has that same cologne background to my nose. I like it though, and I have many other perfumes I can layer with it to sweeten it up. Hopefully it turns into a love.

Unfortunately, this is not the creamy woody coconut vanilla I had hoped for. To me, this smells like a less sweet version of Khamrah. Way too much ambroxan for me. I will let it sit for a bit to see if it improves, otherwise this will be forwarded to a friend or family member.

Blooming bliss is harsh even after it’s dried down but rather more floral touch which is not the same as vanilla powder. Vanilla powder is a lot smoother and dried down creamier. I totally understand and can appreciate inspired perfumes if it’s inspired and typically got their own twist. Students gotta learn from the masters. But to false representation by those as exact dupes and disrespect the arts of creations who inspired you to begin with is not what I agree with. Prices come with refined products. It’s justified however you want to think it isn’t. Honor and respect the inventors because you never can fathom that till your works got stolen and got bashed at the end.

I've had this for a few months now, and it's still not wearable. I sprayed out 16 sprays when I first received it, and it's been sitting for more than two months now. Still can't smell much but the rubbing alcohol. I'm quite annoyed with it at this point. Perhaps mine came from a bad batch. This is my first negative experience with Afnan. I have Kiaana Angel, Cherry Bouquet, and Zukhruf Pink, and they are all favorites, so I'm trying to give this one the benefit of the doubt. If anything changes, I will add an update.

My initial thought after getting a sample It’s irking me because I have smelled this DNA in some designer fragrance out there and I can’t remember what it was. This is by far the most tolerable of that DNA I have smelled. It’s very sweet. I can’t really pick out a singular note. This DNA can be cloying if oversprayed. At this point and time I don’t like it enough to buy a full bottle and I really wish I did but my nose doesn’t agree. I will let the sample sit for a few months and revisit.

This is a version of Lattafa Sehr with a bit of coconut. A very powdwey musky-vanilla with a lot of ambroxan. This is not gourmand. Seems super soft to me, but I might be going nose blind because of the ambroxan. Very unisex It's okay. I'm not sure if I'll keep it. I hate the bottle. If I keep it I'll try to remove the whole plastic top with the roses, seems to be gripped not glued.

This is beautiful, soft vanilla blended perfectly with the coconut and I smell some sort of tropical fruit which is not listed in the note structure. I just received it so I think it may grow stronger a d may change but I love this scent. This is the first afnan that I can say I love. I think it will make a good layering fragrance.

Let this sit! I've had mine since it was released and I couldn't stand something in it idk the sandlewood was alot too.fast forward now its a delicious coconut caramel creamy hint of sandlewood and its so delicious and rich smelling...this one really needed time to sit

Smells just like Vanilla Powder Matiere Premiere I get a tad more caramel sweetness in this but they are very very close. I also get this tropical vibe in the dry down in blooming bliss that I don't pick up in vanilla powder. Unisex

This smells like Lattafa Ajwad and Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday had a baby. It's a woody rose with some caramel facets. I don't smell coconut anything. But at least ot doesn't smell like pennies! It's growing on me.

OMG, this is so stunning! I think this was what I was waiting from the hype in Her Confessions (and I don't feel like HC delivered that much). Is a powdery slightly coconut vibe, smells very refined.

Could be a dupe for vanilla powder.BUT! It’s different , less toasty , less coconut ((((( dry down is better here. Not as musky and sharp. But where’s the coconut ?😭I’m so sad
