Souvenir Desert Rose

When I first bought this, the hazy, woody oud scent was the dominant scent, but after about two months, the tropical fruit scent finally started to emerge. It has a flat scent that doesn't change much from the top to the end. The oud creates an Arabic atmosphere. It's not the kind of perfume you'd go out of your way to buy a bottle of. Addition: The scent got better the longer I let it sit! On my skin, the tropical fruit scent of pineapple, peach, and banana became stronger. The staying power and diffusion have improved. I said there's no need to buy it, but this is a cute but not childish scent, so I think it's worth buying.

I'm getting so many compliments on this, I don't know what people are complaining about. And the sillage is huge, I sprayed it at home came to work and my collegues could smell me from downstairs!?!?!? It's intoxicating them lol I like it, its a hot day today in the UK. Update: The whole dental practice smells like me send help hahaha

It has a very strang scent in my opinion. I loved it when I smelled it on another woman, but when I put it on myself I couldnt breath. I decided I will just spray it in front of me and then walk through it. That way I can handle it :D

Very good quality, powerful oriental, sexy fragrance. Longevity is phenomenal, but unfortunately it is too strong for me.

Souvenir Desert Rose is just not a good fragrance. The opening is strong in all the wrong way. It’s fruit heavy but not in a pleasant way, instead the fruit is heavy, cloying, and synthetic. As it dries down it technically gets better but that’s only because it fades in strength. The sweet fruit notes are all I can smell as well, I’d guess there are other notes in this fragrance but they are entirely overwhelmed by the sweet fruit notes. Performance wise Souvenir Desert Rose unfortunately stuck to my skin all day long. It lasted about 8 hours on my skin and around 6 on my clothing. A 7/10 here. Projection wise it was also fairly strong, projecting just within my arms reach. A 7/10 here as well. Souvenir Desert Rose performed well but unfortunately I just don’t like the way it smells in the slightest. The overly slickly sweet notes are all I can smell and I generally like the idea of simple fragrances but the prerequisites there is likening the notes. In this case I just don’t at all. I unfortunately got suckered in by the gorgeous bottle, this is a 3/10 for me, based only on the fact it performed well. A note unrelated to the fragrance itself but rather the bottle; the upside down design has resulted in my bottle leaking into its cap constantly.

I blind bought this fragrance and I have to say that it is beautiful. Juicy, sweet melon, citruses and vanilla are the notes my nose can pick up. Although I can appreciate a good, well blended scent, it's not for me. The ultra synthetic Lattafa Ana Abiyedh white ruined this DNA for me and I can't abide by it. It's too bad as this formulation is impressive- performance, longevity and quality.

This one is not for me. It’s very heavy and intense right from the start. There’s a strong combination of musk and sweet, almost lollie-like fruit that doesn’t sit well together on my skin. I don’t tend to enjoy musk in general, and here it feels amplified and overwhelming. The performance is strong, it lasts forever, but that actually works against it. There’s no real development or softening, just a constant, dense presence that feels hard to escape. A firm no for me.

It smells like tropical fruits in the opening with sharp powdery-musky notes in the dry down. The combination of amber-musk scents can be a little off-putting for me.

For me was a tremendous disappointment. I seed the notes up there and i cannot agree. Are they wrong??? Where are the fruits and tropical fruits and powdery notes?? This smells gasoline! Very strong and hit the upper part of the head, like aldehyde parfums do with the freshness, like gas does... I even dont know how or what im going to do with this full bottle 😭

This mixture between musk, fruits and powdery notes is just ain’t it. This has a sharp almost chemical quality to it. Maybe the closest thing that comes to mind when I smell it is a mixture between a liquid floor solution and a hair spray type of scent. Just nah.

Whoever said this is a weak purfume has a weak sniffer. I sprayed it on my shower curtain at 2pm to smell it holy smokes! Its so strong. I can still smell it in the house at 12am. I smelled it when I was at the casino & I didn't even spray it on me. It smelled like a very strong bond no 9. Purfumista ave. That i sold for $130- on mercari. This smells so much like that & a bit like the black & gold good girl Herrera but way stronger. Like how alien mugler smells of that b.o. smell of aldehyde. I didnt smell any type of fruitiness. Just powder & sharp musk so sharp that it lingered in my nose all day long. & now is in my bathroom on my shower curtain. I should try it again only cause I sometimes change my mind after trying things again. But I can't imagine anyone could wear this without someone choking as they walk by this smell. It's not the worst smell. But I dont smell anything except a strong Airhorn spritz of choking musky powder right in my face. Dang it, a month later a 13yr. Old girl is going through my purfumes & she is about to spray this one i say careful that one is really strong you won't be able to get it off - she sprayed it on her hoodie & said yum! I was all what?! Are you serious you can handle that she said i love that. So I said ok well it's yours. & I'm just thinking how In The world is a 13yr old gonna wear that very strong purfume without choking. Then her mom says that smells good so im thinking wtf! Is that the same purfume I smell her Hoodia & it smells good like black currant or blackberries! & its sweet all of a sudden! how is the heck does my purfumes change so much after sitting for 1 month. So I regretted giving it to her. But at the same time I never give my stuff away so I guess I need to stop being so greedy with smells. I'm sure she loved it more than I did even after a few sniffs of my nose later

oh... not a safe blind buy. However, to my taste it is a delicious fruity fragrance, I definitely feel an apple-ish scent on my skin that blends into the musk. I must say that musk fragrances, animalic in general, work very well on my skin. If this is your case, you will lean towards Desert Rose as well. The dry down is a very subtle sweet note, I believe I associate this smell with amber, and powdery scent that in my opinion could be more elegant and strong, but it is perfect for a day time.

A girl I work with wears this and she smells delicious, so I asked to try her perfume. It has powwwer. but I do not get any fruit at allllllll from the smell. It's a lovely amber, musk rose scent, with a Lil incense in my opinin. 1 spray is more than enough to last all day and night.

A striking olfactory semblance with Supremacy Purple by same Brand! However, this Souvenir Desert Rose is way fruitier (in the opening) and less woodier (in the drydown) than Purple. Would definitely want to smell this on a lady! IG: @mr_cornells

Macerated for a year and I really like it now it’s fruity pineapple like with amber notes and a clean musk I recommend you let it sit at least 6 months it sounds crazy but with this fragrance it must be done

I've been looking for a Carmina by Creed dupe, got this one as a gift and let me tell you, it's very close, you can smell it from the box.The opening is juicy fruits and then a caramelized rose .

People have to understand that there is NO maceration after the product is sold. Maceration is a pre-sale process. 3 years to macerate is a joke, you just changed your taste my friend.

It took 3 years to macerate! I was going to get rid of this, the fruity notes didnt get along with the rest.....finally I am enjoying very much wearing it, it is a beautiful perfume

I saw someone mention picking up on incense, it smells like it has oud to me! This is a sweet tropical oud. I wasn’t looking for oud so I’m disappointed.
