Supremacy Gold

A sweet, soft oud fragrance-- It smells nice. I wear Supremacy Gold as a day or night scent, preferably the nighttime in the fall and spring months. Though it is a soft fragrance, a distinctness comes from the peach blossom that allows the smell to stand out. Definitely for a female, but certain dudes can pull this as off as well with an earthy, vetiver, patchouli fragrance. At least that’s what I do, but if dudes do choose to buy this fragrance. DO NOT (I EFFIN REPEAT) DO NOT OVERSPRAY!! SPRAY NO MORE THAN TWO SPRAYS ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF YOUR BODY! I am warning you!! Don’t over do it unless you like smelling like a bouquet of flowers bathed in baby powder. Like I said, I recommend it for all genders. Girls and women, wear it however you see fit. Dudes ONE-TO-TWO SPRAY MAX and layer it with a Vetiver, patchouli scent. This ain’t for every dude. If you like the stand “bro” scents of Sauvage, Le Male, or Green Irish Tweed, then this ain’t for you. Bypass this scent, and thank me later, but if you’re a dude who doesn’t care about scents and smells and wanna where it, then buy it and enjoy it, but don't take my word for it. For any fragrance, read reviews before buying it, but take them with a grain of salt. Everyone has their own opinion regarding smells. Some people love a specific fragrance. Some people hate it. My advice is for you to get a sample of ANY fragrance before you ever buy it. That way, you can assess it yourself and have your own thoughts rather than strictly going off someone else's thoughts and opinions. So, do not let my opinion influence you.

I was extremely lucky to purchase Supremacy Gold in a gift box that had 2 of the 100mls in it back in 2019. I was trying out different perfumes and the sales manager recommended that I should try this particular brand Afnan that I had never heard of at that time. She showed me the Silver but because of my love for gold and the excellent deal with the gift box, I chose Supremacy Gold after smelling it. I gave one bottle to my Mum and I must say that till date, out of my 55 bottles of perfumes, nothing smells like Afnan Supremacy Gold. It is one the scents I reach for when I went to smell unique, enticing and amazing without having to blend other scents together. It’s a beautiful blend of Oud and spices and flowers that works so well on my skin and maintains its potency on my clothes for hours. Unlike some fragrances that need you to be heavy handed with them for them to project well, Supremacy Gold does a great job with 3 - 4 sprays. Price point - super affordable and honestly I am no longer intrigued by niche brands that are charging so much more for fragrances that are easily replicated by mass market brands. Gender - Definitely more of a female perfume. I prefer perfumes that makes me stand out in a great way and if I can get that from less popular brands, so be it. If you ever come across this perfume, give it a trial. You will be pleasantly surprised.

This is such a special scent to my nose! Oud combined with florals other than rose always makes me curious. Here it's beautifully blended with violet. This is a softer, more feminine oud that has a bit of the typical sharpness, but doesn't feel harsh and medicinal or animalic. The violet feels sweet and somewhere between powdery and aquatic, like only violet can do. Vanilla gives the scent a warm and inviting base, but doesn't overtake it completely. I also like the nutmeg note, at first I thought I smelled cinnamon, but after reading the notes list I can see that it's a different spice. Iris and patchouli add lovely little accents that give depth and balance to the scent. Supremacy Gold is elegant and smells much more expensive than it is. In a blind test I wouldn't have guessed that this is available for 35€ with shipping. It's more of a winter fragrance to me, but not too smothering for the transitional seasons either. I was very surprised to find Cuir Beluga in the similar fragrance section. Never in a million years would I have thought of these two beauties as similar. If anything, I would say that Atkinson Oud Save the Queen is the closest to this, but they're not exactly dupes for each other either. This is quite unique, I have yet to find another fragrance with violet, oud, vanilla and spices.

I don't know exactly "what" the below reviewers are smelling....but...this one was love at first sniff for me....!! No...it does not smell like TF Oud Wood...or..for that matter...none of the above "reminds me of" scents listed...IMO. IF....this one is a "clone/dupe" of another fragrance....I have not yet figured out which scent it is cloning..(?). It is very unisex...IMHO...and yeah...maybe "leans" feminine-ish....but for me...no matter...This stuff is great !! I find it a well-blended quality fragrance. i do get the violet/iris combo..nutmeg..the cumin is light....as is the patchouli..not "oudy" IMHO, and smooth creamy like sweetness Love !!

Supremacy Gold's fascination is longing, seduction this perfume is masterfully imitates the tones that blend together to form a stunning whole. Introduction include violet and peach flowers. Their connection with cumin and nutmeg gives space sparkling scent, but sensually the bearing. Dark wood echoes patchouli lead us to the beautiful irises given to the society vanilla scent directly blossomed. The walk continues with black amber and musk purity subtlety, opening space for oud oil, which underlines the whole composition of perfectly fitting and very addictive fragrance.

I can smell the similarity in this and cuir beluga. However, I must say this is definitely not a dupe. Supremacy gold has a similar powdery amber spicy vanilla take without the creamy velvety feel of cuir beluga with an additional note of oud to my nose. Cuir beluga has a smoothness that supremacy gold doesn't. There is a clear difference between these two. That being said; supremacy gold is a lovely scent. One that I truly enjoy. If you enjoy cuir beluga and don't mind an oud note. You're likely to enjoy this as well.

Vanilla Coca-Cola with a beautiful soft oud base. Maintains a consistently sweet profile for the duration of the scent profile, with consistent hints of powder and spice. Major sillage, fills up a whole room. Lasts 10hrs+, perfect for autumn and winter. Could get away with this on cold spring days. Worthwhile addition to any collection.

This is definitely for women IMO. My wife absolutely loves it, and grabs it frequently as it’s her go to scent for work. I usually buy her backup bottles. Nice floral and vanilla scent. Unbelievable price point since you can get it for under $25.

Great scent profile on a female. Lasts all day with strong projection. Overpowers other fragrances in the room if you spray more than 3x.

i actually find this surprisingly beautiful its not as cloying or as sickly sweet its a oud with amber and resins and some spices i find it not bad for its reletevly cheap price for about 30 us $ for a 100 ml edp .. the silver one does smell like cred aventous and this golden bottle one smells similar to many from mancera just watered down version of some of the heavy hitters like estee lauder mystique wood and even David yurman the brown limited edition one which i love so much of course with quality difference ..that being said that afnan was bought from a high quality quaity company for more than 80 years called "Atyab Al-marshoud" and they have a long history with pure ouds and agar wood and incense.. back to the perfume ..it is a well blended somewhat more astringent oudy rosy ambery conotation..it is like the hundreds f the other montales and oud conotations out there it is similar to caligraphy by aramis ..it mellows to some cozy ambery oudy rosy accord perfect for winter it could also be a bit powdery a bit balsamic with hints of patchouli and subtle hints of sweetness ..honestly to my nose it doesn't smell bad at all its fresh crisp yet oudy(synthetic) it smells like walking in to blomingsdale dubai mall and being sprayed with the hundreds of niche oudy perfumes for 3 digit numbers...

The notes on the website are as stated Top notes: ylang-ylang, neroli Heart notes: Vetiver, white musk & vanilla Base notes: Jasmine, musk & sandalwood Review: At first spray it is VERY sweet but that only last for literally a few seconds. Then we get into the opening. The top notes almost seem nonexistent or either too well blended to make out but heart notes make their appearance nearly instantly. Very white floral, powdery and minutely semi synthetic which can be a little off putting but again that last momentarily before the dry down begins to settle in. The jasmine, musk and sandalwood bring this fragrance full circle and closes out what I think is a great unisex fragrance especially for the price. It’s great for evenings year round

this opens as an ambery iris with peach blossom. reminds me of lolita de lempicka a bit but with cumin instead of anise. LL with a bit of funk. this smells nothing like cuir beluga to me, like at all. i don't get the association. this is a musky peach with amber/benzoin/iris, which later dries down to an amber/benzoin/nutmeg. very cozy.

This vibes so much like This is Her! Undressed. It's more opaque but dries down as beautiful as the the other one, which is extremely dainty beautiful. The opening is a little abrasive which I don't get with TIH Undressed, but the drydown, on me, is spot on. It's a strong like for me while TIH Undressed is a huge love.

Overall: 6/10 (will re-rate after full wear) Scent = 2/3 Performance = 3/3 Wearability = 1/3 Value = 0/1 So I've got to be honest, this fragrance is way too feminine for me. When you first spray it, it's got a really plastic-y smell, but it's not as strong later on. The scent itself is okay, but it's definitely more of a women's fragrance. I can't think of a situation where I would want to wear it. But it does have great performance. Just to give you an idea, if Bentley For Men Intense was made for women, it would probably smell like this one. I think it's the benzoin and amber that gives me that vibe. But for me, I would always choose Bentley For Men Intense over this one.

I actually like how this one dries down, but I really don't like the opening. Once it's dry it's got this sweet, vanilla, powdery smell. It reminds me of this lip balm that I drew all lover the wall paper in our house with when I was about 4. Super mild. It doesn't project much in the dry down, it's a skin scent. The opening however is quite harsh. It's sweet still, there's just this sour artificial antiseptic smell. It's only for 10 or 15 minutes. All that said I don't like the dry down nearly enough to put myself through the opening so it's a definite no for me. Thank god for samples. Projection- 4/10 Longevity- 6/10 Quality- (a very subjective 4/10)

Having a bit of trouble with this one. When I first received it, I was not a fan at all as I got a baby wipe smell from the first sprays. I decided to let the bottle alone for a few months and come back to it. Indeed this has now changed a lot and is a sweet but very powdery fragrance. It has very feminine qualities - floral, powdery (like makeup powder probably from the iris) and very delicate sweet notes - not prominent but round up the fragrance. I don't immediately think of another fragrance to compare it with, I believe it has its own identity. I would wear it for when you do not want something standing out, more of a comforting fragrance IMO.

Far too sweet to compare to Dior Homme Intense and I have no idea how people are getting Oud Wood from this. If this had more powdery iris and less sweetness it would be very nice, but the candy sweetness is too much, especially in the first 15 minutes. The excessive sweetness slowly dies down and after about 15-20 minutes Supremacy Gold turns into a sweeter, less powdery and slightly cheaper smelling Givenchy Gentleman EDP.

Afnan makes clones, but I have no idea what this is supposed to clone, however, I'm into male not female Fragrances so it may be a clone of a female leaning Fragrance. It's VERY sweet & the opening is off putting, however, it has gotten better in the two years I have owned it. The dry down is nice & the performance is great. This is definitely growing on me & the cooler weather is coming.

This is definitely female leaning, as per one YouTuber that said that this was perfectly unisex I must have to disagree. For those who feel comfortable wearing female leaning fragrances this one overall has really good performance but has a weird floral note that lingers heavily and I can't quite figure it out.

On my quest to find my violet scent. No luck again. Someone in the previous comments wraped it up like 'vanilla coke'. That's the only thing I get. No violets, no powder. Still, the smell's OK and what I really love is the famous longevity of the Afnan perfumes.

This smells nothing like my Oud Wood, so I'm not quite sure where those comparisons are coming from. Tried like heck to like this, but I just can't conjure the nerve to leave the house :) I would not recommend!

It’s nice, but it needs to be layered with a sweeter or more floral fragrance for me. To my nose, the oud is prominent. It is more masculine. This may go to a male friend.

#332 in my "Tour de Fragrance" So with this scent the powdery and very mild amber-vanilla is not strong at all, the other notes barely detectable. Projects mildly for about 20-30 minutes, lasts as a skin scent no more than two hours. Completely inoffensive in every way, perfectly safe for any wear, including carpool, elevators, enclosed spaces. So if mild, pleasant and versatile is what you want, here it is. But it's as bad as any drugstore cologne in performance though it's being sold as Eau de Parfum which it is not by any measure. For the most part the Cremo, Proraso and Tommy Bahama colognes, and I've tested them all, outperform this scent. You would be better off buying Cremo "Distiller's Blend" or Cremo "Palo Santo." With this, over-apply to start. Respray with frequency. Take a bath in it. It still won't be there by lunch. To my nose it's most similar to Emporio Armani "Stronger with You", branding I would call ironic marketing as that fragrance is also not strong in any sense, but it's stronger than Supremacy Gold. I do understand why someone compared this to Cuba Paris "Prestige", a scent similarly mild and pleasant, but lacks vanilla, which is the dominant note in "Supremacy Gold." Both this fragrance and the entire Cuba Paris line share that Myurgia "Yachtman" level of abysmal performance. If you added citrus to this you'd have something like a really weak version of Xerjoff "Erba Pura", a far better scent with a lower rating only because it's so over-priced. This will go in the Christmas donation box, as did my bottle of "Stronger with You", and won't be a repeat purchase for me as when I go for vanilla I want a fragrance with staying power like MFK "Grand Soir", Kilian's "Angel Share", or the fabulous bargain fragrance Lattafa "Khamrah." But this scent is certainly not a bargain, it's just being sold at a bargain price.

I'll place my sensibilities first - I'm a middle-age professional man with a substantial (several hundreds) collection of fragrances. I enjoy in particular masculine florals, aquatics, ouds and orientals. I do not like cloying fragrances, nor do I like bone-dry synthetic 1970s-style chypres. Some of my favorites houses are Issey Miyake, Montale, L'Artisan Parfumeur, Creed, Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier and Fujiyama. I also enjoy some of the Amouage, Ajmal, Franck Olivier and Le Labo fragrances. Of course, there are a great many more I like, and a great many more I dislike. As with most middle-eastern perfumer offerings not available in the US (Afnan, Armaf, Ajmal, Arabian Oud, Rasasi) I bought this blind. The success rate has been really very good overall when doing this, but this Supremacy Gold is a flop. When I encounter anything as sickeningly cloying as this, I can't be bothered to review it in any further detail. The top note is marshmallow and the dry down is marshmallow plus something else. Another hot mess like this I recently bought blind and immediately put in my "sell/give away" box is Armaf Paraty. Also so sweet you cringe when you smell it - alcoholic bubble gum. I've thoroughly pilloried several Karen Low (Xchange) offerings on Amazon, and several others, for similarly overwhelming sappy, sticky, awful sweetness. I will add more reviews as I work through testing my purchases - several so far have been VERY nice indeed - and I have several from Afnan - but, unless you think "eau de Log Cabin Syrup" sounds appealing, you simply won't want to bother with this one.

Received this one today along with Modest Deux. What I get is powdery, violet, peach, maybe some vanilla and iris, but the notes on Afnan's official site for Supremacy Gold read as follows: Top Notes: Ylang, ylang and Neroli Middle Notes: Vetiver, White Musk and Vanilla Base Notes: Jasmine, Musk and Sandalwood I do like it. I was a bit worried because, though it said it was unisex, I saw almost no reviews by women. Now that it's on my skin, I think it leans more feminine. In fact, I would not want to smell this on a man, just saying. When I first sprayed it, it gave off a fruity vibe, though the notes don't sound like that. Whatever is actually in it, it's very nice. I can see it in Spring and fall for sure. I hope it has good longevity on me but can't comment since I just sprayed it ion one wrist about an hour ago. I've become a fan of the middle eastern scents recently. A successful blind buy!

Though I, a 62 yr old male will wear unisex fragrances and even female fragrances like Amarf club de nuit intense women (Tom Ford unisex Noir de noir clone), I bought this for a young woman (daughter, teen). I would not call this Unisex at all - this is clearly a female fragrance. My kid walked in the room after dry down and I thought 'wow' - this fragrance though brighter and creamier than I imagined yet still soft & sweet. The sweetness, powdery & vanilla reminded me of Yara Lattafa but more intense/vibrant. It's potent, 2 - 3 sprays at the very most.....

Blind buy. It smells like nothing I own so far. leans more feminine and I do not think its should only be worn in cold months, spring and summer evening are fine also... I only can smell peach blossom, light nutmeg, and very gentle oud. It does not smell like iris to me but iris does not really have a smell anyway.... dry down is light and powdery.. lasts 5-6 hours on my skin and smell stays close to skin. Not a wow but very usable and pleasant. Beautiful, heavy weight bottle. Overall a good buy for the money.

The opening is weird. Supremacy Gold starts of with a baby powder smell so intense that it smells like car exhaust. You get the hint of fermented fruits in the background. The opening lasts for about 30 min then in the mid the fermented fruits start coming to the forefront and it starts leaning towards an extremely floral and powdery Erba Pura

I havnt tried this, just rrad that the silver versuon of this is one of the best Creed Aventus clones, checking the gold version out of curiosity I find this funny review by @andyman32 who claims that he has several hundreds of perfumes while his first and last review is to say that this scent is cheap and horrible. Interesting man, way to go!

This one smells ancient. It's intriguing. Evocative of Phoenicia, wafts from an ancient brothel or funeral for royalty. Wear it low and close, like an inner sanctum, inviting those daring or curious enough to approach. Overspray at your peril; this could go from enticing to repellant with one too many sprays.

i have all the Supremacy Series this one is the worst of all, what i get is MARSHMALLOW it says UNISEX there is no MASCULINE in any way, so sweet and floral this is not wearable for men.. who wants mine you can have them... disappointed waste of money and time.. my review in this is 4 - 10

Can someone please tell me if this is blind buy safe and if its a light and non offensive oud? I really want to get my first oud fragrance and I love the soft and pleasant kind. Something like Fleur du Désert, that is a perfect fragrance to me.

How much Cumin do you get in this? I am interested in buying it, have a good offer but there is no way for me to test it before buying. I dont like cumin at all in my perfumes.

Just received this, very nice, definitely unisex, not overpowering and somehow those notes all mix very well for a sweet fragrance with a middle eastern touch
