Supremacy Incense

I tried interlude man once a while back, only on a test strip, applied for me by the sales associate so as a peasant like myself would not have to lay his greasy hands on the exquisite bottle. I remember thinking it was nice, it reminded me of some other fragrance which at the time I didn't get, but I also remember thinking $360!? Pulling the paper strip out of my pocket from time to time during that day I changed my tune a bit and thought "hey, if $400 was like $100 to me, yeah I would buy it, drydown is stellar." Some how I stumbled upon this perfume for 1/10th price and thought why not, I already liked what it's a clone of. With my first try of this one I instantly remembered what IM reminded me of. Black Afgano. Not a clone by any means, but the green notes, oud and incense are very similar. In black Afgano it is a lot more dense where this Afnan is more airy and light. The incense not here is pleasant and I don't feel like I just walked into a head shop or a Birkenstock store. The oregano isn't as strong or burnt as some describe, it does a great job of keeping the incense from becoming cloying and powdery. The initial sprays fill a room, no joke and it lingers. I applied this at 4:30am and my wife still smelt it in the washroom when she woke up at 7am. It dies down a bit after about 2 hours but it leaves you in a bigger than average scent bubble for 10-12 hours with it still being detectable on skin 24hours later. Wild while still remaining tame and classy. The mid of the fragrance is a transition where the incense gets darker but the whole composition gets sweeter in stages. I also get a lot of woods and a very mild sweet leather that still has the spices intermingled. I don't get much patch but that's fine. The drydown here is even better than the fragrance is copying, at least to my memory. So if you like the original or like scents that are in that realm this is for you. Cheap, good composition, excellent longevity and power even a nice bottle.

Holy 10/10 TL:DR smells the same as Interlude, leans more into sweet benzoin but no real difference in the air. Smells like a stone wine cellar where they're drying oregano, then it transitions through a church - like smell into the sweetest, most sensual and smoky incense you can imagine. I love interlude, I don't dig the wet cobble stone + oregano/thyme opening, but the drydown is ecstatic. I can't afford interlude in a full bottle, so I got this instead and wow I've had the same "no money love story" with Amouage's Reflection and Khadlaj Shiyaaka, and even though Shiyaaka is close and I absolutely adore it, I could tell a difference. This scent? No. It smells the same. Like really, It has more sweet nuances and it leans into synthetic benzoiny inscense instead of the oud, opoponax, myrh and other exppensve stuff in the original but honestly, first time smell side by side - I wouldn't know which is which. Even performance wise, both are two sprays too much. If I were to really get into it, there are differences you can pick up when enjoying it just for yourself. (even though they smell the same, really it's the closest clone I've smelled) Amouage Interlude is an artistic composition you would go to a museum to experience, this would be a fragrance, that smells the same, but lacks those natural nuances, the opoponax note is much more defined and sharp here (presumably because it's synthetic) and is supported by benzoin that is strongly reminiscent of Mercedes Club Black/Althaïr. If we are talking about other people smelling you, even fragrance nerds - no difference. The blend is masterful, I have no idea how they found a way to blend cheap compounds into this. If you like interlude, but can't spend the money - buy this. If you have the money, but you want a 2% more sweet and wearable version, buy this too. Some people say it's better than the OG for s reason.

A year and a half this sat on my self. A blind buy out of curiosity that I did not like right away. But I kept it, kept testing it to see if I'd ever come around. Well, I've finally come around. I'm sure fans of Interlude Man will find this journey familiar even if the Afnan is a step down in quality. For those used to typical designer scent profiles this will seem extremely foreign and obnoxious. This is all about the church-y incense but it opens with bitter fresh oregano and, I believe, some tomato leaf. Medicinal, green, dry, bitter and a touch waxy, the opening will seem out-of-place for a men's fragrance at first and drive most away. And while the incense is present in the opening, the oregano overpowers it at this point. As it dries the oregano recedes, but never fully disappears. At this stage the incense rich body starts to assert itself and dominate. This is a smokey dry Opoponax (myrrh) mixed with labdanum and without even a hint of sweetness. I'd swear there's some smoldering frankincense as well, but it's not listed. This stage is relentless and lingers for hours. As the day passes it does become more resinous as the projection softens. I start to pickup some dry leather and woody oud mixed with the smokey incense resin but by this time your natural skin oils will effect how it ultimately comes across. It's that mixing with my own skin that I like the best. It takes several hours but its worth it. Projection remains firm for most the day so plan accordingly. I've found 2 sprays on the chest is all I need and I'm able to pull this off at work. It's mysterious, bold and lacking any trendy characteristics. After my first impression I decided to pass on Amouage's famous blue beast knowing it was similar. I can now see the appeal, even if it won't appeal to most. I can even see this becoming an office signature. I'm just thankful I never tossed it.

Superb performance and depth! On clothes, the longevity easily goes beyond 12 hours, and even on skin it lasts for a solid 8–10 hours with a beautiful projection in the first few hours. For its price, this is truly an outstanding performer and easily competes with fragrances several times its cost. The scent immediately reminds me of Amouage Interlude Man, sharing that same luxurious smoky–resinous DNA, yet with a slightly smoother and more wearable touch. It opens with a bold burst of smoke, incense, and spices, setting the stage for what feels like a warm, mysterious oriental journey. As it settles, the richness of opoponax, amber, and labdanum starts to shine through — warm, balsamic, and slightly sweet, wrapping the incense in a golden, resinous glow. There’s also a subtle leather and woody nuance underneath that gives the composition real depth and masculinity. The transitions between the top, heart, and base notes are impressively smooth, making it feel like a high-end niche creation rather than a designer clone. The dry-down is where this fragrance truly excels: creamy amber, slightly smoky resins, and a gentle sweetness that lingers beautifully on fabrics even the next day. It projects an aura of sophistication and mystery, perfect for cooler weather or evening wear. Overall, Super Massi Incense by Afnan is, in my opinion, the best alternative to Amouage Interlude Man — it captures the same opulent and complex character without being harsh or overwhelming. A masterfully blended oriental fragrance with long-lasting performance, remarkable quality, and an addictive warmth that stays with you all day. Highly recommended for anyone who loves smoky, resinous, and amber-heavy fragrances with real character and depth!

Edit of September 12 The weather here turned suddenly autumn-ish and I pulled the bottle out again. I am amazed at the overall work done with this jus. Longevity has further increased. It easily stands at 10hours with a strong sillage for about 4 hours before moving into intimate territory, for the rest of the lasting time. I confirm the powdery/smokey yet smooth incense accent that smells beautiful to me. I do not have Interlude and I suppose its ingredients are top quality, hence I can only imagine how captivating that perfume is. Supremacy Incense is a gem. I purchased my bottle 4 months ago and first days of usage didn't really turn me on. The oregano opening was extremely strong and lasted forever. That was quite off putting. I let it seat until yesterday and man, did it change! The oregano opening is now somewhat tamed lasing only about 30-45 minutes. I still can't pick up the bergamot but spices are there though much quieter than I'd like them to be in this phase. The evolution is quite radical now, leaving labdanum and amber just a brief appearance. After one hour from the application, a great woodsy-patchouli scent emerges, resulting into a fantastic incense note. The incense is a meditative kind of fragrance, not harsh at all. I really like it. Sillage is quite strong and one of my co-workers said she could smell my presence from withing the office hall. Duration is very good form my expectations. I spray perfumes mainly on cloths and it stays all day. I spraid it on my wrist and after showering I could still smell it. Not a beast but a solid performer for me. I wouldn't recommend it as a blind-buy because the overall scent may not suit all noses. For incense lovers it's a definite go. My 2c

Not only is this Fragrance complex and challenging, but also incredibly powerful and in everyone's face so it's double the challenge to wear. But for some reason I absolutely love it. I have not received a compliment on this one but i wear it anyway: for me. It opens with a very strong dry herbal oregano and frankincense punch that strikes you in the face and makes you reconsider your choice to wear it today, even makes you sick. But within a few minutes the herbs, oregano and offensiveness diminish somewhat and you get this rich, dark frankincense smoke with a strange freshness. Like I imagine what a cathedral would smell like if it stood in a forest. The smoke remains cold and uninviting, like if you set wet wood on fire. But when the fragrance dries down and sets completely after a few hours, you receive the reward for your resilience. A deep, complex, sweet oud and amber, even vanilla to my nose. This sweetness feels so inviting and familiar to me, like meeting an old friend in a place where you'd least expect to meet them. At this point I firmly believe the fragnrace can be enjoyable to anyone and loses it's bold and intriguing character a bit. But when you smell it intentionally you'll still get that mysterious frankincense note to remind you of the emotional turmoil you've been through with this fragnrace over the last few hours, like a secret between the scent and you. Amazing fragrance. Glad I blind bought the full 100ml but definitely isn't for everyone. I don't wear it often though because I have to simply wake up feeling like reaching for it, definitely not a versatile everyday choice.

The true beauty of this fragrance is the contrast between its bitter notes and its sweetness, resulting a well-rounded and interesting creation. The fragrance opens up with a good amount of velvety powdery green notes. I initially thought it was sage, but seeing the ingredients here, it seems most people agree this to be oregano. I get none of the bergamot, but instead a sort of floral mid which smells like a nice luxury hand balm, a bit powdery as well. The drydown is where this really shines. I get this beautiful fragrant (but not dark) incense boosted by resins, as well as a good deal of vanilla, which is again not listed. I don't get much oud, but maybe that's because I am used to smelling more animalic oud varieties. It is similar enough to recognise Amouage Interlude when first smelling this, which I tested before buying this but which I do not currently own. Like most Middle Eastern fragrances, it helps to tuck this away in a dark cubboard for a couple of months, it really improves with time. It smells high quality, and most importantly it smells well made, as if none of the elements can be enhanced, improved or taken away. It smells timeless and expensive and STRONG, very strong. I like well-projecting fragrances but I was taken aback by this. This is one of the few fragrances that actually gets stronger after half an hour so really spray conservatively. I would say try before you buy, but realistically where are you going to test "Afnan Supremacy Incense" in a shop. So maybe try out Amouage Interlude Man and then buy this instead.

This is my favourite fragrance, I'm actually rocking this today, but I have it for a couple months now. The scent is wonderful, unique, powerful, elegant, mysterious, all the qualities that I appreaciate. The oregano note in the beginning is actually enjoyable for me since I love to cook and it's a spice that I love to use anyways, but this note fades away pretty quickly, but such a unique experience for that 15-20 minutes. Then there is no turning back, the fragrances just fills up every space you enter into but personally I love that. It is an intense experience, but the scent is much more sweet than I firstly thought, so it is much more wearable than most of the reviews suggest. Incense, sweet patchouli and spices is what I get for the most part. I just love it. Niche quality for stupidly good price. Versitality depends on the space you're in. If you're in a small, crowded space for a long time, this intense smell will bug most people, but I confidently wear this fragrance basically everywhere except for the gym. Longevity is superb, sillage is enormous, it projects for 4-5 hours and then every single time you move, you will smell the fragrance without a doubt. I like to overspray, but not with this one, 2-3 sprays is plenty. After I bought it, sprayed it a couple times and I had to let it mature for a week or two, because the performance was not there, but it definitely is not an issue anymore.

I bought this a 1.5 years ago and initially although i did like it, It was shelved for over a year since i had other fragrances in my rotation. I do own Interlude 53 and Interlude Black Iris and it does come close to the OG Interlude but misses the mark in some areas. But at 1/5 the price. It is a steal. I do remember that initially the Oregano note was a little too screechy. But being shelved for over a year. It has matured and has become a little sweeter and smoother. The Projection and Longevity was phenomenal the first day I bought it and I don't think that has changed. Its a room filler and in a closed setting and heavy handed with the sprays would choke people out they would want to stay away from you. If I had to nitpick the differences between this and Interlude . Interlude smells richer and more complex and transitions through several layers as it dries down. This fragrance is not a blind buy as it is an acquired taste. It is difficult to wear and finding the right occasion to wear it is few and far between. Last 3 months of Winter. I wore Interlude 53 twice and Afnan Supremacy Incense thrice. At this rate both these bottles would last me a lifetime and then some. If you want to get a taste of Amouage Interlude but cant get your self to plonk down a huge sum for it. Buy this !!!

I love interlude but wouldn’t wear it enough to buy a bottle I had a 5 ml decant about 6 year ago and I got so many days usage from that as it’s so strong 3 little spritzes was enough. Any way this does definitely try to mimic interlude and it does a good job with cheaper ingredients it’s not as beastly and not as strong but this is well above average of all that stuff and it doesn’t smell cheap at all, I spray this just chilling at home I find it just relaxing, maybe the first 10 mins can be a bit to strong but it soon just settle to a lovely scent , it stays pretty linear on me but that’s ok, interlude is like a journey with different stages. I’ve layered this with so many frags but like 5:1 ratio and it really works I think it makes them all more powerful, I get more people complimenting and asking me what I’m wearing . I never actually tell them as I feel I would sound like a plebb talking about layering different frags lol . The norms don’t get this shit like us frag heads lol. I love this for what it is it’s not a blind buy frag and many people will not like this Fragrance is subjective I’d suggest any frag head to get a sample of interlude for the experience I think it’s probably a marmite thing People seem to love or hate

Purchased a bottle of this from the Afnan kiosk in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai a few days ago. The chap at the counter was very helpful and quite happy to admit it was an Interlude clone. The Afnan bottle is a joy to hold, it's very heavy and along with the cap, very high quality. It's hard to understand how they sell this for little over £20.00 in UAE and still make a profit but best not to give Afnan any ideas because it's an absolute steel. This smells 90% similar to IM and the only way I can really separate them is by the depth of Amouage's fragrance but again, if I'm paying 1000%+ more for the so called 'niche' offering then it needs to show it's worth - maybe it does, maybe it doesn't. I personally find that Supremacy Incense has both moderate projection and sillage. On me at least, It goes strong for a good 6-8 hours before fading to skin. The dry down to fade brings out what seems to be the most overused note of the decade, that being Saffron which isn't a bad thing per se but it just means that beyond the fantastic opening and mid layers, you are ultimately left with something that smells familiar in this modern day context of perfumery. Overall I would rate this 8/10.

Supremacy Afnan Incense: To begin with I'm going to emphasis the price point of this frag. I paid $26.46 for a 3.4oz bottle for this very well done clone of Amouage Interlude that I paid for my 1st 3.4oz $196.75. I came across these fragrances in my search for wearable likeable beast mode performance Incense colognes. These 2 fragrances not only check those boxes, they smash them. The performance of both of these fragrances is outstanding! With the same amount of sprays on my test strips they both last for days and on clothes until you wash them. Sillage/Projection is similar. They both easily fill a small room for hours. An indication to the powerful scent trail you will be leaving with only 2 sprays: one to the front neck area and the other to the back for many hours on end. During the side by side scent challenge. Within the 1st hour on my unlabeled test strips with the same amount of sprays by another person. I could pick out and tell the difference of the more refined and well done opening of Amouage Interlude vs it's amazingly well done clone Supremacy Afnan Incense. But beyond that 1st hour it was all a guessing game.

I gifted this to my brother who isn't really into fragrance the way I am. He loves it and says it has garnered compliments even at his factory job. It was a little too masculine for me (a woman), but I'd call this as unisex scent. A woman could definitely wear it. I think it smells fantastic. Resins lend sweetness, powder, and incense notes while the aromatics keep it lifted. The patchouli here is not at all dirty. I think the oud is noticeable but it's definitely a tamed European style oud, I don't get anything funky or barnyard. I believe the oud is what makes me think of Weil Suki Essence when I smell this, although they share a lot of notes. I find the Suki to be more suitable for a woman. Supremacy Incense is one of the most unique men's scent's I've come across (I know nothing about amouage or others, I like things thrifty.) It has a warm and comforting vibe. I think it's more of a cold-weather scent but my brother has been wearing it year-round and I have no complaints about it being cloying. Do spray with a light hand, a little goes a long way, which makes it an even better bargain! An overall winner in our family!

it is impressive how this perfume exceeds your expectations over time. at first, it reacted to my skin type and felt very medicinal; the resins were overpowering - yet the projection and longevity were incredible. my favorite part is the drydown, and, after a few months of maceration, the top notes began to feel fresher, less oregany and more minty. the heart notes were balanced; it is no longer medicinal, but intoxicating. it's heavy and stays in your throat. evolves into something sweeter. i swear i can hardly feel any smoke in my nose, maybe a little bit of incense - and i've lived lighting incense in my house all my life. ironically, everyone who notices my scent first notices the smoke and compares me to a witch :-P these days i've been wearing it and layering it with vanilla body cream. i feel like it balances some notes and makes some notes feel richer. definitely not a blind buy, not for people with underdeveloped noses. i live in a place where it's always summer, it's hard to wear this fragrance - so wear it in temperature controlled places and suffocate everyone!

I spray this on and boom, oregano hits hard super green, super sharp almost like I rubbed fresh herbs on my arm for the first five minutes it’s wild a bit strange, honestly but also kind of addictive I keep sniffing just to see where it’s going then it calms down the green edge softens and something darker starts creeping in a smoky vibe, but not heavy no frankincense here, that’s for sure so don’t expect church smoke it’s more like a soft powdery haze incense in the air, but cleaner the transition is smooth never harsh and it keeps me curious the whole time I can’t stop checking my wrist after about an hour, it’s magic powdery incense in full flow light, smoky, and a bit sweet feels modern but still mysterious this is the stage I love it lingers quietly sticks around for hours and leaves that soft smoky trail yeah, I like this a lot way more than I thought I would especially that drydown but warning: this is not a safe blind buy my score? solid 8/10.

It is a good scent and a successful blind buy. I can smell smoke and resin. I compared this and Amouage Interlude Man so that one was on one hand and the other on another. The opening of Interlude was crispier, more citric and "higher", Supremacy Incense was greyer and more toned down. After about 30-40 minutes they both had changed and were one and the same scent: there was absolutely no difference; I tried to find a difference but couldn't. They both lasted over 5 hours and even longer on skin when sniffing close. I could have gotten Interlude for almost a third of its price but I felt I won't really use it when going out so I chose the Afnan version just to have a scent of this type in my collection and enjoy this mostly at home. And the comparison with the Interlude tester showed that there was no difference (for my nose) after half an hour so I got it even for a third of a third of the price of Interlude which is a very good deal.

When I first tested this fragrance I felt my stomach drop. 'I cannot wear this' and 'at least it was only $20' started running through my mind. I tried it, and felt it gave me a headache. Not to mention even my niche loving nose thought it smelt kinda gross. My partner, on the other hand, loved it; and I, ever the people pleaser, gave it another shot. Sprayed more intentionally at pulse points and my clothes and... I love it. The dry down has a supremely pleasing incense note, as the name implies. This perfume is incredibly strong, and I way over-did it that first day. It's got an animalic and sharp opening that I misjudged, as it blooms into a sweet, woody, resinous gem. Especially on skin. A pleasant surprise for me indeed, this is a budget beast. If you want to smell like a ritual space from an H.P. Lovecraft story, or the bad guy in a supernatural thriller, get your incense on.

It's a good 95% of Amouage Interlude Man. Perfect for the cool weather. For those who don't have the Amouage or know what is smells like it might be worth testing it 1st because it's not your normal everyday scent. Get past the opening of the Oregano and other herbs and your left with a slightly sweet smokey and intriguing scent. It's anything but generic! The Amber and Opoponax give off this wonder Vanilla type of sweetness in the base with a slight hint of Oud and Patchouli but make no mistake, the Smokey Incense that takes center stage, so be prepared for it. The smokiness may be challenging for some people but I absolutely love it. Long lasting! Good projection! (Just don't overspray) Great price! Good compliment from people wanting to know what I'm wearing. Situations: great for gathering and large open areas or venues. Could wear to the office, just watch the trigger.

To start off this review, I want to state that I have not had an opportunity (yet) to smell the original, so I am not able to compare the closeness of the two scents. In terms of longevity and projection, this fragrance is incredibly loud and extremely long-lasting. I would almost go as far as saying that one spray of this is too much already. The price to quality ratio is very good. I bought this fragrance for around 26 euros which is a steal, but I would not recommend others to blind buy this like I did as it is definitely not mass appealing and quite hard to wear, especially for a young adult such as myself. I would not dare to wear this to my university classes due to the scent being overwhelming, and requiring an acquired taste to love. I really love this fragrance, but due to me having practically no occasions to wear this, I doubt I'll ever need a second bottle.

And to think I almost passed this up because of the "strong oregano" opening. Bro, you're high af. This smells NOTHING like oregano, neither dry nor fresh..this does however smell like an almost like a burnt marshmallow, a mysterious smoky incense that is both powerful and projecting. It goes the distance. An unheard of heavy scent (for this price range) it's still lingering and been on for over 12 hours. While some perfumers boast a scent lasting.. I must go nose blind because I can't smell them except on fabric up against my nose but this sucker..I keep getting whiffs of it's intoxicating fragrance and it's subtle nuances. This could easily fetch triple the price for what I paid. It's amazing and now I am curious to try more of the Supremacy line. Seriously, don't listen to the reviews on this one. It's cheap enough to take the risk, you won't be disappointed.

Woah. No words. Literally no words. I own interlude man, interlude 53 as well as black iris. Multiple bottles. I am obsessed with interlude. This is interlude. I am both in awe and appalled. Blown away. To anyone other than die hards such as myself, i think the smell will be absolutely indistinguishable to interlude. Yes interlude has noticeably higher quality blend and ingredients, but this is just incredible truly. Projection, longevity excellent. Easy 10/10 fragrance IF and I mean IF you already love the DNA. This is not a blind if you are not already familiar with the DNA, if you are however pull the trigger straight away. For people newer to fragrance, i recommend going to your nearest retailer and smelling interlude. Supremacy incense is the perfect introduction to niche and challenging scent. I’m in love.

If you're unfamiliar with Amouage Interlude, you shouldn't touch this stuff. It is not blind buy safe. If you do enjoy Interlude, and you have Interlude but you want a good clone that you could wear on some random weekday without reaching for the OG, this is a great alternative. Is it as good as the OG? Don't be ridiculous. On the other hand it cost about 1/8 of the price. Afnan did a commendable job trying to clone a very complex fragrance and I think this effort is at least as good as Swiss Arabian's attempt, Shaghaff Oud Abyad. Trash? Absolutely not, and you're only embarrassing yourself if you say something like that. It's kind of like the rides at Disneyland that say "You must be above this tall to get on the ride." Amouage and their clones should say "You must be above this age to get a bottle or comment."

STUPIDLY insane performance, ~20 hours and projects way too much for the first 1.5-2 hours. Too much smokiness and incense for me in the beginning. Once it dries down though this lovely smooth amber jumps in the spotlight and shines beautifully by blending into the mix of smokiness well. This slight but of very dark oud is also underneath it all like a pedestal elevating the scent, not too strong, but not so weak it's not noticable. The spices including oregano are like a topping to all of it that makes it all blend in super well and gives it that final kick. You only really need 2 sprays for it to come out like a real beast fragrance, definitely may be too smoky for social use, perhaps even for most people's "me fragrance" standards Performance: 10/10 Scent: 9/10 after drydown, 5/10 before it dries down.

Haven't smelled Interlude, but I'll say, that at around $200+ for a bottle, idk if it's something I'd buy, but at $25, this stuff is godly! I don't get what a lot of others are saying out of this though, and I'm actually glad for it, all I'm really getting here, is a slightly animalic type of heavy leather, mixed with a very smoky type of vibe, but in the best way possible. Not getting any sort of incense (I use a lot of insense at home, and this aligns with none of the 12 varieties I have.), more just a smoky super leather... I've been on the hunt for a really solid leather smell, and this hits the nail, and at $25? Can't ask for anything better. Leaves a beautiful scent trail with a nice scent bubble that keeps at it, and I'm 7 hours into a busy dinner service at work. Gotta commend this stuff! 10/10

Strangely enough, this is one of my favorite frags. It was a blind buy for me that followed watching and reading many reviews—so I kinda had an idea what to expect. It was not love at first sniff as I tried to process what was going on , but I always felt like Supremacy Incense showcases fragrance artistry more than just a scent. I tried to fathom where I could actually pull it off, but then realized I can wear it anytime (with an understanding of my surroundings). I wear a couple sprays beneath my shirt and enjoyable whiffs of it come and go throughout the entire day. I believe powdery, musk fragrances can accompany it well, but know that performance wise, it is probably a more beastly projector than most frags in your collection. I've grown to love it and am glad to have it in my collection~

The first time I sprayed Supremacy Incense, I was overwhelmed. The resin, the smoke, that burning incense stick vibe, too heavy, almost harsh. I thought: ‘Maybe I made a mistake blind buying this...’ But with time, I realized: this is not a fragrance to show off, but to sit quietly with. On cold, rainy nights, especially around New Year’s Eve, it blends perfectly with the scent of incense, tea, wood, and family warmth. If fresh aquatics remind me of youth and summer sunlight, Supremacy Incense feels like old rooftops, temple bells at midnight, the smoke of New Year incense: solemn, nostalgic, and deeply moving. It’s not for everyone. But for me, it became a keeper, because sometimes fragrance is not about pleasing the crowd, but about holding a memory.

I have Interlude Black Iris, Interlude 53 and this one from Afnan and i must say Afnan has done a tremendous job in replicating the scent profile from both the starting to dry-down. Well off course the original / fine quality ingredients in Amouage cant be used and / or feel like exactly the same in a less priced dupe as they [Amouage] are much more dense/warm... but folks...this dupe is worth the price if you a fan of Interlude series. Performance is also ok, as it lasts on clothes for like 6-8 hours, however projection is not that good, 1-2 hours max. I get whiffs 3-4 hours after applying on skin. In short - a good addition in your collection and best for winter.

It's a love. Five stars out of five, too. Those who are into smoky spicy woody juices should definitely try this to soak themselves in the aromas with generosity. Oregano s prominent, and for a short while initially there is (creamy) peanut butter aroma. PS the drydown is somewhat salty (saltier and less sweet than the first half stage), that's likely why I've seen (elsewhere) some mentioned sweaty vibes (not in a bad sense). Plus, it's saltier and sweeter/more resinous than Oud Abyad, with a trace of sourness (which is due to the oud note?). It's like burning resinous trunks and branches. Superb longevity and projection. Fall and winter.

This is one of those scents that I learned to appreciate over time, and I'm glad I did. Like many, I mostly lean towards citrussy or fruity scents, or your everyday blue frags. I'm a big fan of the house of Afnan, in particular the Supremacy line, so I felt the need to purchase all 7 of the Supremacy scents. Incense was the last one I received, and I felt as if I was forcing myself to like it in the beginning since I loved the other scents. Different story today, totally appreciating the smoke and powder this hits you with. I haven't purchased Amouage Interlude yet, but definitely will in the very near future.

With this fragrance, I think that too many people are forgetting a couple of very important factors. Your nose and your diet. We all smell things differently and how something smells on us heavily relies on what we eat/drink. If you eat a diet if fast food, drink little water and never moisturize, many fragrances will smell off-putting on your skin. It is that simple. I’m not saying that this is a 1:1 for Interlude Man. It’s not, but if you eat garbage food, don’t keep your body and skin hydrated well, everything will smell different on your skin. End of story.

Wow! I think the best word for it was captured below from monke go brr, "brooding". I have not experienced Interlude Man but my favorite is Interlude Black Iris. If they make a clone of that, chef's kiss!. This is a punch in the nose. Straight smoky incense. It does get softer over time as most fragrances do. But I like it. Certainly one of my favorites. Fantastic performance. Fantastic price. Absolute gem of a find for my nose. I see it isn't for everyone. So please feel free to send your unused bottles to me so I never run out. Cheers.

Nose Note #1025 I wonder why this has lower rating than Midnight Oud and Oud Abyad. It is slightly less agressive (thought the OG DNA is agressive in a good way), this is a little bit more polished. But overall the DNA is 100% there. So if you are choosing a substitute for Interlude Man (which I also own), I'd say go for any of the three. Personally I'd choose Oud Abyad just for the bottle. Supremacy Incense has the most beautiful bottle even though it's a fingerprint magnet, but there's something thick missing from the scent. 7.5/10

I own Interlude Man black iris, and I know this is a dupe of just the og interlude man, but the similarities are insane. I also just love this scent profile man, something about the notes and the way it makes me feel is a vibe. its def a dark scent but it just smells damn good, you can definitely tell the difference of the materials used between Amouage and Afnan but for the price this still kicks ass. lasts a long time and projects like crazy, wore this around the house and filled it up. this is def a hidden gem

Supremacy Incense This will smack you in the face off the top with incense and smoky notes. Very strong, and for select appropriate occasions. This will not draw people in, nor will it push them away, but everyone will be aware you wanted to be noticed. Once the dry down comes into play, the spices come to the forefront. If you like this style of fragrance, this should be at the top of your options. Worth every penny, a great value to have in your collection. Score: 74/100

Glad I have sample of this one before buying. It is like 98% identical to Midnight Oud by Ard Al Zaafaran which I currently own. Dry down is a bit different BTW. After I finished Midnight Oud, I might consider to buy this instead since the bottle is more tasteful. **UPDATE** Wear it several times and decide to buy a full bottle. This is way better than Midnight Oud. MO has some harsh quality in it but Supremacy Incense is richer and smoother. So I prefer this one.

Glad I picked it up to experiment with, but that’s a touch too much incense and oregano for me to pull off in public. However, a bottle like this is still has uses. I keep spraying it in my up stairs walk-in and now it smells like I burn incense in there all day. I’ll still try it out occasionally when I don’t plan on seeing anyone that day. I like keeping something challenging like this around because you never know when the wind will shift and now you love it.

If you like the interlude man profile, this is a banger. Could be repackaged and sold at 5x the price. 1-2 sprays for big initial projection, a very complex scent development, and 6-10 hours of noticable longevity. I wear it on snow days and cold nights. If you care about compliments from non fragrance loving normies, this is likely not the frag for you. Oregano, electrical smoke, spice market, leather, sweet amber. Wear it for you, tame the sprays.

This is one of the best bottles I have right now! Ultra smoky incense and eugenol / clove bomb. Very herbal in the background. It smells a lot like incense at a head shop, but the patchouli that one would typically smell at a head shop is in the background. I don't understand how anyone could hate this, unless they were an absolute beginner. It's extremely rich and cozy. I've never smelled Interlude, but on its own, this fragrance is excellent.

I love both the OG Interlude and the Black Iris version. I had found cheaper alternative for this unusual boy and had many juices tested. Overall, this one from Afnan actually the most accurate clone for the OG. But yah, I think you all heard something, this is actually not a mass appealing things. Make sure testing before purchasing. In my view, this scent is still shine in daytime with a suitable spray amount by the way.(max 2 please🤣)

This is the greatest fragrance of all time. It's almost a shame that this was my fourth ever fragrance, because now everything just goes downhill. It is the best possible scent, I can't really explain what's good about it other then it's the best thing one can smell. The performance is so insane I'm surprised nobody talks about it more. Lasts multiple days. One spray fills a room. Two sprays MAX. Also insane for layering.

Cooler damp mostly cloudy day in the spring. 1 shot of this to the chest & ADP Colonia Futura all over my neck and 1 to my t-shirt. Shared vetiver, the oregano in this balances the pepper in the ADP, while the smoke here is amazing with the juicy lemon/grapefruit from the ADP. This is more versatile than other smokey frags due to the green & vetiver IMO. Possibly the best bargain in my little collection.

Absolutely nuclear. Easily the most insane fragrance I own performance wise, even more so than heavy hitters like Red Tobacco. This is for a particular person, definitely not an everyday signature. Incense directly to the dome through and through. Ashy, Herbal, incense. Smells like my Christian Orthodox church. Very eastern. For the price, worth getting for its scent profile and artistry alone.

I hate to be 'that guy' but I love this one. It is beyond beast mode, the only fragrance that has around 20 hours of longevity in my collection. Also a compliment monster, people notice you and in a good way. Just go easy on the trigger, 2 to 4 sprays is all you need! It fills up a room FAST... It smells smokey and really sweet and if that is your thing, you can't go wrong with this one!

It’s the smallest things that amplify a scent as good as this. Lying down, looking up at the obsidian sky. Glass of Shiraz. Autumnal dew in the air. A slight breeze carries the oregano, patchouli, smoke and leather. Enough to brush the senses. Everything’s still, yet alive. Every delicate whisper of a breeze unites the amber, spices and woods. Heavenly. Sixty. Fucking. Bucks.

Here's my personal review and experience about this perfume: - 90% Similarity to Amouage Interlude Man - Very solid performance (4 Sprays = at least 3-4 Hours of very strong projection) I really like perfumes and own approx 20 bottles ranging from 20 to 300$ and Afnan Incense is in the top 3 considering the price-performance ratio. Becarefull tho, this isnt a crowed pleaser.

100% the best from the supremacy line, DO NOT blind buy if you are used to the modern sweet frags. Super herbal opening and settles into a slightly sweet but heavy resinous scent (hence the name "Incense"). Omg wow , One of the closest dupes I’ve ever tried, a lot of dupes have their own twists and aren’t really 1:1 but this one is a direct dupe. Now I’m not sayings it’s exactly 1:1 because the blend isn’t as smooth as amouage and the ingridients obviously aren’t the premium amouage ingridients but as far as scent goes it’s almost identical on paper. At this price it’s a 10/10

An amazing perfume. Undoubtedly a close clone of Interlude. I got them both, so i use Afnan for everyday wear & Interlude for special occasions. Needless to say, Interlude "feels" creamier & richer & stays a bit longer. Could be psychology too ... expensive feels better for some people. I tried layering this with a few others unsuccessful. Any recommendations would be nice.
