Tribute Black

I'm not sure why this is considered unisex. My GF will be happy, she just inherited a new perfume. (2/16/2023). UPDATE: Blind bought this because I wanted to complete the Tribute collection, but I absolutely regret it! No offense to Afnan, trust me I love just about everything I've seen so far, but this one is awful, and totally isn't for men!!! I wish I knew what they were trying to accomplish here, and welcome someone to inform me. BTW my GF couldn't bear this smell, and was desperately trying to wash away the smell after trying it on. (2/27/2023). UPDATE: Looks like Afnan has discontinued this one, I no longer see it on their website. (3/13/2023).

@Mr Cornells, interesting take, at least from my standpoint. I'm almost certain you have more experience than I do in the fragrance game. Can you tell me if it's just simply that we have differing opinions, or am I not enough open minded about what this perfume is supposed to be doing? It's rare to hear any positive feedback on this one, plus it's no longer listed on Afnan's website, which speaks volumes IMO. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Definately floral, some sort of rose I'm thinking, kind of plastic-y smelling rose. There's a spiciness along with the floral, like nutmeg or something. Really reminds me of Tiziana Terenzi's Gold Rose Oud except more floral and less earthy. Edit: most likely discontinued because of it's use of butylphenyl methylpropional (lilial). Found listed in the ingredients.

This fragrance is clearly redolent of Montale's Black Aoud. I love its rich, deep and smooth woody floral character, featuring mainly notes of Agarwood, Bulgarian Rose and spices. Finally, this is an undisguisedly "masculine" fragrance. However, I know very few ladies who would rock this... IG: @mr_cornells
