Violet Bouquet

Absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous. Find myself reaching for it every day. I love the syrupy floral, amber & musk combination. The presentation is lovely and feminine. One of my very faves! Baccarat rouge Granddaughter 540 what can I say no matter what happens today this smell amazing very chic.. Smells like baccarat rouge 99.9 percent.. The price is shocking absolutely good price smell absolutely fantastic.. Well done

BR540 on ambroxan steroids, dries down a touch spicier than the original. Major projection, leaves a very noticeable scent trail. 10 hrs+, best suited for cool/cold weather.

98% close to BR540 edp. And the performance is insanely good.

I sprayed one spray on the top of my hand at 8 pm last night after my shower. Being ambroxan asnomic I can't detect many Bakarat Rouge 540 type fragrances. This Middle Eastern version by Afnan has a purple flower diffusive sweet amber scent with good structure and I can actually smell her. Pretty unisex, maybe slightly fem, I would say depending on the person and layering choices. It stayed on the top of my hand for 18 hours! Even the best fragrances don't stay on my hand for 8 hours... much less 16😂. If you like br540, purple scents and warm complex amber fragrances I suggest checking into this one lol. I have modern florals, purple fragrances vanillas and sandalwoods I am already envisioning layering with... Experiment time.

Smoothest, highest quality and most accurate BR540 clone I've tried. On paper, it actually resembles BR540 (edp) and not TK No.4, Instant Crush, Arabians Tonka or others in that range. The saffron here is done correctly. It is not overdone like in almost all other clones. Though on my skin it is more like ISO E SUPER, pencil shavings I would say it's about 90-95% accurate to BR540 edp. This is slightly more ambroxan forward and less cotton candy like. The scent seems also a bit thicker, not as airy as the OG.

Blind buy as a BR540 clone. I love this, and while some might correctly feel this one is sweeter and does not have the saffron and the oriental vibe, i really appreciate that about it. Baccarat is marketed unisex and smells unisex, this one is a female version of it, and it focuses on the sweetness keeping the DNA. Lasts a long time and the bottle is heavy and good quality

This is a louder version of BR540. Afnan did THAT. I can detect more ambergris compared to Baccarat and it doesn’t have the disappearing act that BR can have. Fantastic dupe, about 90-95% similar to the FK creation for a small fraction of the price. Edit: Please note this fragrance is a little sharp in the opening (first 5 minutes or so) but the dry down is much smoother.

Out of all the BR540 inspired perfumes I have tried (and I have almost tried them all), this one has insane staying power and projection but has this one very powerful note that comes out upon spraying and pretty much stays with it the whole time. I’m not good at picking out notes but it is not a sweet note and almost dirty smelling and dry as well as annoying because it overpowers almost every other note and makes me a little sick and very few perfumes have this ability to where one note just takes over and makes me sick. I learned that if I spray it in the air -2 sprays max- and walk through the cloud then it cuts down on the cloying power of that note although it’s still there. If they would tone down that note I would say this is super close to the red bottle of BR540 as any other with the most insane projection and staying power. I think the better one is amber oud rouge but has been discontinued, then there is also Alexandria interplay extrait that is good but leans more masculine than the amber oud rouge- at least to me it does. There is also the orientica amber rouge but doesn’t have the staying power of the fore mentioned on me. I wish I knew the note but someone mentioned the ambergris being too much and maybe this is the note. I would recommend you to try this one but remember it’s nuclear on that note and no more than 1-2 sprays for the sake of everyone around you. I’m typically an over-sprayer and ignore warnings of over-spraying but I wouldn’t dare on this one. It eventually settles down and becomes the red bottle of BR540 if you can weather the storm at the beginning. I use one spray I walk through on this one for the lasting power and spray 1-2 sprays of the orientica or one of the amber oud rouge and always get compliments on my perfume and can smell it for over a week on clothes.

Current relationship with this scent profile: It's complicated I try it on skin, it's gross. Can't stop thinking about it. Try it again. Same thing happens. I order a bottle of this perfume thinking it might be different. It's identical. I still wear it. People compliment it. I question their sanity and mine. I can't identify any notes apart from the salty weird chemical nothingness, which I like apparently.

One of the more prominent clones of BR540. Someone referred me to it for being more present than others. I found it to work well for my skin chemistry, but I only wear it occasionally. It can be worn anytime of the year, but is better suited for cooler months. It has moderate longevity, but is not a strong projector~

This perfume feels very elegant, id be able to imagine a mid 20's or a 30 something year old wearing this to a formal event. Less sweet than i thought, you can smell the sweetness, but i think the amber and woodsy notes overpower it. Its definetly strong, so id say one spray, or maybe two is enough.

i love the safron and the sweetness in this perfume, but sadly it only last 1 to 2 hours max on my skin. While in clothes I still can smell it for a day, and it only project for the first 30minutes

From a tester. ( I could smell the Ambergris from the package! It reminded me an authentic, super expensive oud+Ambergris oil I'd bought years ago and I loved it, so I know their Ambergris is of great quality and very prominent, very animalic! ) I haven't smelled the MFK B 540 for comparison, but here it's my review for this scent: Opening: It confuses my nose...it's sharp, masculine leaning with some sweetness of a drugstore feminine smell that I don't like, I think it smells like ananas gummy bears and something synthetic. Meh... Next, this sweetness is gone and I get the citruses , but in the same "cheap" context, I still don't like it. To me it smells like "*they used some generic feminine "perfume-y" cituses notes in a try to mask a masculine scent, which is also a bit grandpa to my nose*" The Ambergris is lost. It's gone. It's masked with this weirdness I dislike😯. I'm confused. No caramel, no saffron, no bergamot, which I love. I can't smell the woody notes, either. It's also not well-blended...Like someone who tries to figure out his/her/it/their/no gender, without being bi-either and still can't decide, it's not usnisex... idk you guys - it's a weird scent. It's sharp, confusing and annoying. It's a no from me. 3/10. (Edit: If you wash it off very intensely, then the only note that stays is the Ambergris and it shines alone. Only THEN it appears and I like it, so: 4/10 lol )

It smells very synthetic and medicinal to me. Like rubber bands were left to marinate overnight and the juice was poured into an ornate bottle. Can't get any projection or silage from it. It cost 39€ but I could have gotten something way better for the price. Update: I decided to give this a wear reluctantly today and perhaps I was a bit too brutal on my first comment. I think moods and seasons have a lot to do with how we react to fragrances. It has a slight woody note that gives me a rubber feel to it. I will continue to use this after all!

It's just gross. Smells horrible. It was blind purchase and I regret it.

I bought a sample of this. It smells cheap. In fact, I dislike the whole DNA. I smelled this before in a different juice. Disliked it there as well.

What is there more to say...if you love BR540, just get this instead. Received order from Frangrance net, open box, highly impressed by the packaging presentation, stared at it for 10 minutes, then read enclosed profile card. Now, for the test...criminally close to BR540...along the same branch as Zara Red Temptation. Yet! It's somehow light and airy. Wore test to the office, last 8+ hours. Ever so soft sillage with a huge personal scent cloud. Immediately ordered a backup bottle and already saw that people are reselling for more than double the cost I paid, which was around $40. Now, addicted to Middle Eastern fragrances, especially from this house.
