Embers and Musk is a strange one, when first applied there is an overwhelming antiseptic toothpaste quality that I don't care for at all. Luckily this is very short-lived and it settles more into the titlular smoke and musk. This is the smell of the ashy firepit the morning after the flames have gone out, still charred but hazy. I like this, but since I there are still hints of the toothpaste throughout I can't fully love it. The toothpaste is somewhat akin to what you smell in the opening of Tauer's Lonestar Memories.

My husband said I smell like smoked trout 😆! Which is a shame because I really like the subtle smoky tarr of this fragrance. I think the slight sweetness under that is what suggests the trout.

Definitely leans more smoke than musk. A beautiful campfire smell with an ever so slightly sweet incense note. I feel like the smokiness smells of cade oil--not sure if it's in there, but it's brought to mind! I'm not sure I want to wear this on my skin, but as an atmospheric perfume it is gorgeous.

Bonfire.... Smoke... this is very smoke like blend with a touch of pine, guaiac wood, & amber. It gives me the vibes of "Hyde" by Hiram Green with it's birch tar, smoky, and bonfire theme. This is way different than Mandy's creation which makes her a versatile artist. Pretty blend.

Fireplace in a bottle. A bit smoky for an everyday fragrance, but it’s an exceptional blend by a true artist.
