Burning Core

Beautiful ginger bread not biscuit very well balanced with a toasted note and a distance smoky note not burnt in anyway it gives you the feel of a warm oven. this was a joyfull experience as I'm not in to photo realistic fragrances I prefer an artistic approach on perfume not a copy so this was great

This is a truly beautiful fragrance with a non-sweet, deep gingerbread warmth that feels cosy, refined, and very well constructed. It’s spiced without being dark or heavy, and the balance is genuinely excellent. Sadly.. VERY sadly, it would be a true 'love' otherwise.. on my skin it remains extremely intimate. While it occasionally gives tiny, lovely wafts, the projection is just too soft for how much I enjoy the scent profile. Absolutely worth sampling — it’s gorgeous — but best suited to those who enjoy very quiet, close-to-the-skin fragrances.

First impression was absolutely horrible and I got nothing but fireplace smoke initially. Nothing else. The cade oil, I guess, is what makes it smell like By the Fireplace? It overpowered everything and I got zero sweetness, zero lactonics - all the things I love that were the reasons for buying this are totally absent initially. So disappointed. On paper, this should have been a 9 for me.

The cade oil absolutely RUINS this (and any other frag its in, imho.) I never smelled anything but forrest fire from cade oil. It drowns out every other note in every fragrance I've experienced that contains it!
