Agent Provocateur Ménage à Trois

This is the ultimate seduction in a bottle. Took me a while to find this at a decent price, and i wanted it real bad because original AP is my number one perfume of all times. It was worth the chase. I can die happy now that i got to wear this. Enough said.

I have both this and the bomb shaped bottle. They are definitely different. This has all the wonderful spice and the other has white floral dominant. This is my preference.

A little update as I have today done a direct comparison of original Agent Provocateuer EDP and this one here. Firstly, the wordings "Menage a Trois" do not appear anywhere on the bottle, like other reviewers have noted. So based on the packaging one has to assume it is meant to be the same fragrance. My testing today did reveal a noticeable difference between the two bottles though. I am wondering however if this is down to batch / production site rather than the bottle type? "Menage a Trois" bottle, bought around 2015 or before, "Made in UK": Seems to be harsher, stronger and perhaps more longlasting. I get a lot of vetiver, moss, incense (?) and patchouli. Perhaps even the cardamom makes an appearance, supported by cedar. The florals are extremely subdued. This is badass, not everyone's cup of tea, love or hate kind of thing. I wouldn't call this balanced at least not if you look at the whole notes pyramid. However if you like scents like Encre Noir or hard core iso E or cedar/ incense / vetiver / pencil shaving stuff, this should be on your test list. Agent Provocateur EDP, 30ml bottle, bought 2018, "Made in Italy": Instantly recognisable, powerful sillage, well rounded. All of the above, but more subtle and way more florals and musky notes appearing from the beginning. Don't get me wrong, it's still a sexy dirty fragrance but it seems to me the more pleasing version. A classic and a fragrance I don't want to be without.

Isn't this the same fragrance as Agent Provocateur (original) EDP which comes in the same colour of bottle, just bigger? I own the size described here but it was not sold as "Menage a trois" (stupid name anyway, leave the s*x out of perfumes can we?) but as Agent Provocateur EDP 25ml pocket size.

Heavy seductive rose. This is something you’d wear if you visit your romance only wearing lingerie and a trenchcoat. It’s woody, spicy and rose is prominent. It’s dry (almost powdery) and not sweet. Too heavy for office.

I have this bottle and am fairly certain it's Agent Provocateur in a very cute limited edition chained up porcelain bottle. Nothing written on the box apart from Agent Provocateur. Certainly not Ménage a Trois, however I'm sure that would smell rather exciting.
